Great custumer service all the staff here are awesome. The girl with the glasses was very nice and professional. I definitely recommend to come here for the delicious blizzards... The manager is a very sweet and nice lady.
Stopped in for Blizzards. One of the employees had a hurt arm. She powered thru our 4 orders. One was a banana split. Fast and awesome. Most people would have stayed home. Didn't get her name, but as a former restaurant manager, I wish all my employees had this attitude and work ethic. You all are lucky to have her. Didn't complain, and was a pleasure to see this. Won't embarrass her and take a pic....
I take my dog here every week for a soft serve treat. The employees love her. They are very pet friendly. Oh and if you never had a blizzard ice cream treat, it's a must try. It's what McDonald's copied for their mcflurries but way better
I returned to West Valley post acute on 7057 Shoop Ave., March 2, 2025 because I had right knee replacement. I rested well in this place because everybody is very professional and kind
I stopped by this DQ inside Northridge mall today because I wanted a soft serve ice cream. I walked past this DQ store so many times but never walked inside to look at their menu. Today was the day, so when I walked in they were not busy at all. I was looking at their menu and saw their plain cone option which is their version of soft serve in a cone. So I went with that and got a small size. It was pricer than I expected but I guess because it was in the mall. The plain vanilla in a cone was good though and you get a good amount. I was happy with my selection to end my day at the mall.
The White Mocha shake was divine- I got the small and only drank half- I chose not to look at the calories. 😍

Haven't been there in over 20 years! Orange Julius used to be very good. It's mainly a dairy queen now. But the strawberry Sunday was great!! And the cashier was very nice!!!
Love DQ
Haven't been there in over 20 years! Orange Julius used to be very good. It's mainly a dairy queen now. But the strawberry Sunday was great!! And the cashier was very nice!!!
Food is good and so is pricing but the wait time is pretty ridiculous. Only 1-2 staff members working at a time. The place is understaffed. They need to do something about this to not have a wait time of 10-15 mins each person.
Well Dairy Queen... your advertising worked. After seeing a recent DQ ad on television, I remarked to my wife that I hadn't been to a Dairy Queen in AGES! She mentioned that she loved getting Heath Bar blizzards with her Mom and hadn't had one in forever. The next day (which happened to be the day before Mother's Day) my wife had some work she had to do and I needed to get our toddler out of the house for a little bit. So I thought it'd be nice to surprise my wife with a Heath Bar Blizzard. Around here, DQ's are hard to find, and the closest one was the Dairy Queen/Orange Julius combo in the Northridge Mall. But this was special... so we made the trip. We needed to give my wife the proper amount of time, so I decided to eat there with my son and buy my wife's blizzard after we were done so it didn't melt. This store has a bit of seating, but not much. Very crappy ambiance in there. But there is ample seating just outside in the mall, which was fine. I ordered a blizzard which was okay. Not what I remembered. My son had a Misty Slush which he loved. It all went fine. Then... I go back in to order my wife's blizzard and... their credit card machine had stopped working!!! Really? They have one? I had no cash on me, and they said they wanted to try it, took my order... MADE my order and then couldn't get it to work. So because it was on the side of DQ that prevented me from getting what I made this whole trip out to get, AND I had already successfully bought two items, did they give me the already made Blizzard on the house? NO!!! They opted to let it go to waste instead of making the correct customer service decision and just give me the blizzard. Come on now... That's crazy. I'm struggling to figure out what to rate this, as pre-this experience it was 3 stars. Post it was ZERO stars (as how can you give stars to a business that literally won't allow you to enjoy their product when you're willing to pay with proper payment)... so I'm giving it 2 stars. Really it should be 1. The staff prior to this event was pretty good. There were three women working. Two of the three of them were pretty business like, but the third really appeared to enjoy her job. She was making a banana split for someone and really seemed to take pride and care in creating something she knew would be enjoyed. She was all smiles when she handed it over, and it was a nice moment. She wasn't the one who denied me my blizzard. Don't get me wrong... I don't expect them to make one for me if they know the credit card machine is down and I don't have a way to pay... but if it is ALREADY made and going to be thrown away... that's ridiculous.

zero stars if I could 🤷🏻♀️ came here a few days ago and the manager was really nice and followed orders correctly. came again just now and ordered a smoothie, incompetent employees gave me some weird juice. one star only bcoz there was a cute boy working and actually gave me my order. don’t waste money on here there’s way better places in the mall
This store never wants to actually help their customers or let them get ice cream. We showed up at 8:25pm hoping to get some ice cream, after checking the hours on google and the dairy queen website to make sure they were open. Both those sources said they were open until 9 and then we showed up and the gate was half closed and we were told they closed at 8 and we were not allowed to come in and buy dessert even though they weren't actually supposed to close and the employee just straight up lied to us. They always are trying to close early and close the gate before the store actually closes, but 35 minutes early is ridiculous and to lie to customers about your hours when it's so easy to check??? So disappointed since this is the only dairy queen near me.
Went in 7/1/23 at 5:55 p.m(Imsude the Mall) all 3 Girls working were Very Rude no Good Customer Experience. The Skinny Blonde girl with Glasses wearing the Dirty Light Blue Disposable Face Mask looked at me rolled her eyes and went to the back only to look around and watch me from the back. I stood there almost 5mins before they took my Order. The Girl with the Black Hair who looks like a Betty Boop Impersonator was so rude I asked her for a spoon was very rude like I was bothering her to do her job. The Girl with the Dark Brown hair took my Order she was Rude No Hello No Thank you Nothing.Honestly looked as if they HATE working at DQ.
Just went there because of the new Jurassic World promotion and ordered the Jurassic Smash Blizzard. I can honestly say they had the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I had been to a previous Dairy Queen in San Diego who was kind enough to sell me some empty Jurassic World cups for 25 cents each. They didn't have all the cups but said I could try another Dairy Queen so I went here. Big mistake. The lady that worked here refused to sell me the cups without buying the drink. Okay. The cups themselves cost a few cents to manufacture but whatever. Instead I had to deal with attitude and rude remarks from this worker while my sister in law got her order during the remainder of my visit. Needless to say, their cheapness cost them a customer. I hope saving a few cents on the stupid cups was worth the loss of a customer. I will share this experience with everyone on Facebook and come in contact with regarding the horrible customer service at the Dairy Queen at the Northridge Fashion Center.
This is the worst place ever. I called this place and spoke to a young girl and ask her about a coupon do they take. And not once did this girl say you need to print out the coupons. I told her I am coming from North Hollywood and I have never been there before. Everyone is updated to scanning the phones. So I drive all the way here to be told that I was upset. Never will come here and any of the others named Dariy queen Orange Julius. They are not the original real Dairy Queen!
WORST DQ EVER. I know everybody seems to be having the same experience here, but I had to chime in too. The service here has been consistently terrible. RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. I have tried several times now, and only once gotten what I ordered, but they charged me DOUBLE. Now let me be clear, I've ordered the exact same blizzard at DQs all around the US, and never had a problem, EXCEPT here. Same as other people, I was told the ice cream machine wasn't working after I watched another customer walk out with dipped cone. There were no other customers... So it's not like it was "too busy" to make a blizzard. But I left and happened to walk by again about a couple hours later... The person I had dealt with was nowhere to be seen, so I tried again and another employee started making it, no problem... Then the other person came back from break and said, "No... Stop. We don't do that." and stopped them. I asked why, and they said, "ok fine," and insisted on ringing me up, and charged me DOUBLE! (Their prices are already way higher than other DQs). It was ridiculous. I won't be back to this location!
I love strawberry shakes,my kids love chocolate chip mint shakes,I love the flavor. It's not the first time buying in here .The person working right here have a negative attitude and unfriendly atmosphere. I ask for a empty cup, and she said in a negative manner I can't. Later she said I need to buy the cup, i said ok, but she dropped the cup near my hand in a mad way, she was very rude, I ask for my receipt and she said I need to ask to her for the receipt, because she was very busy.. This happend today 8/05/24, at, 6:01 pm
Walked in with a rude worker who at first lied that his ice cream machine didn’t work. After I asked him to show me, he pressed down on it and it worked perfectly. I asked him to please sell me an ice cream for my son as it’s his bday and instead of giving it which takes 30 seconds, he decided to argue for 5 minutes refusing to help my child. He set I need to set rules and it takes me 5 minutes to pour you ice cream. That’s poor service and careless. Will never recommend this place to anyone
The manager needs to be fired. She complains about her own workers to customers in front of her workers!! Very unprofessional and disrespectful. Workers there have been nothing but nice and understanding. Another complaint the card reader is never working! The kids seem to do the best they can to fix it. Then when they call the manager for help they get yelled at! I don’t get how these kids have stayed with such a rude manager. I certainly wouldn’t.
Drove 40 minutes out of my way to get a Blizzard, and they are inexplicably closed at 5:15 p.m. on a weekday.
