We have dined in NYC and have everything available to us in Virginia Beach. Every time we come home to Northville, we either eat at the Timeless or order from the Timeless. Lisa's food is OUTSTANDING and as good if not better than you can get in any major city in the US. The customer service is BEYOND COMPARE. This is one of our favorite hidden gems in the country.

Timeless Tavern is one of the best places my. husband and I have eaten at.. Their food is delicious especially the prime rib end cut , the osso bucco, the grilled clams, chicken wings and the stuffed mushrooms. Everything is always fresh and delicious. Try it if you are ever in Northville NY.

Usually always go to my go-to, the Timeless' DelMonico. But I changed things up tonight w the Adirondacker (a roast beef and Swiss panini) , with a French Onion soup (which is to die for btw!) for starters. My husband and I both enjoyed every part of our dinner from the moment we entered.The place has a great atmosphere.Our server was awesome.The soup was great because it was homemade.Salad dressing too is homemade I believe.Our steaks were excellent and cooked perfectly along with the potatoes and vegetables.The Delmonico was huge and even though I was fun I had Creme Brulee because I knew it was gonna be great and it was.We will definitely be there again.

We came here as tourists just to sipp a beer. What we got: friendly people who welcomed us warmely, and wondered how two Germans did find this place. We did because we stayed at The Inn. Don’t miss the chicken wings (we had the boneless version) with honey and thyme when you’re in the Timeless Tavern. Second don’t miss: NY strip steak.

We planned a get away weekend to get some XC skiing in the area. We stayed upstairs and rooms were nice, clean, comfortable and quiet. As far as dinner it was excellent all fresh and prepared to perfection with huge portions.

No complaints. Fast and polite service. The staff displays nice team work. Food was perfect. I tried the orange half a Duck and it was amazing. Interior is top notch.

What an awesome restaurant! We're in town for the weekend had dinner here both nights the owner is very personable and his wife is the cook food was outstanding especially for the price, highly recommend can't wait to go back!! Staff was on the ball not a single complaint from our group of 15!!

Everything was excellent. Have been coming here for 5 years. I've had almost every entrée they serve, have never had a bad meal. The chef is great , the management and servers are most attentive. Prices are well below what they should be.

My husband’s mother and her husband live in Northville, they are in their 90’s and considered a valuable part of the community. This past Easter, my father in law told me that the Timeless Tavern had delivered a turkey dinner for them... free of charge! These people are a great example of what it means to take care of their customers and they are doing it with love. Because of this Pandemic, seeing them for Mother’s Day wasn’t happening. I remembered what Warren said about the Timeless Tavern and called them up to see about ordering food for them for Mother’s Day. The young girl who answered the phone said, “ we love Warren and Caryl!” So I ordered what I thought they would enjoy . Mom called me yesterday to tell me how great the dinner was, which made my day! If you’re looking for something fun and want to give back to the community, I highly recommend a visit to the Timeless Tavern!

My husband and I purchased a camp in Edinburgh that we have been renovating since July So we’re up 4 to 5 times a week working and Timeless Tavern is our treat. We go a least once per week amd have introduced friends to it as well. The food is delicious portions are just the right amount and the staff is so friendly and accommodating. My absolute favorite is this special apple cider Bundt cake that lisa made as a special during the holiday. She’s truly talented in her baking and cooking skills. French onion is also a fave for me. I’m so looking forward to to spending the summer up here and eating at timeless even more:)

Our waitress Dawn is one of the best we ever had in our life! The food was phenomenal!! The atmosphere was welcoming, the price was very reasonable for the entrees we had. We will be going back.

GREAT meal, we had the Delmonico Steak, will definitely have another great meal at home from it. Waitress was attentive, and checked on us without hovering. Meal was well paced with appetizer, salad, and entrees. Price was really a surprise, we thought it would be much more. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Always amazing food! Honey Thai wings are a must try with homemade blu cheese. The strip steaks over garlic toast are delicious. The 18oz chocolate balsamic steak....who would think chocolate steak but everytime we go it's ordered and delicious! Perfect size portions in a perfect little town, plenty of parking either out front or in the back. We always come back!

My boyfriend and I come here regularly and every time we come it is always a pleasant experience. Their food is homemade, is always fresh and delicious, and the prices are very good. They also have really good dessert options. This is my favorite restaurant in the local area.

The burgers are fantastic, and their garlic butter steak is to die for. Also, definitely try there deserts, they are great! Very important though: they open at 4pm, and it is no exaggeration to say that this place gets slammed within the first hour of being open. Try to get there as soon as it opens.

My wife and I were looking for a place to have dinner on a Wednesday evening. My wife turned my attention to a quaint looking building which we quickly realized was a restaurant. We found parking around the side of the building. As we entered, we were met by a gentleman that asked if we had reservations. Since we didn't, we were seated at a booth in the bar area. The dining room looked very nice but the booths were clean and comfortable and we were happy to get a seat as there were many people entering after us that had reservations and the restraint was quickly filling up. We were surprised at the ambiance. Busy yet quiet. Our Server, Alexia, was knowledgeable and very personable. She provided great service. The food was spectacular. Honestly, I wasn't prepared for what turned out to be an excellently prepared Salmon Peach. Perfectly cooked salmon with a peach glaze that was mouthwatering delicious. My wife also raved about her Seafood Stuffed Sole. The food, service and ambiance were way more than we expected. It was a very pleasant experience that we will happily look forward to in the near future. With reservations this time. We would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.

I don't usually say this, but the wings here last night were as good, if not better than the Mayfield grill. Overall, nice bar, good food, and I was pleasantly surprised. You don't get to see the lake, but the food is way better than lanzis, so it's a trade off. Don't expect to see the Yankees game though.... I'll go back.

Restaurant. Food was very good but the description of the food was lacking. Hence the 4 instead of 5 star review. Ask about the menu items you're interested in before ordering. Spouse git crabcakes. We had to return them as it had a white sauce he could not eat. Ordered without sauce and they were good. Unfortunately, we were charged for both orders. But we left without making a fuss. Waitstaff were friendly and cheerful. Note it is not a hotel.

We almost passed this place up during a stay in Northville, and I'm SO glad we didn't. It's an unassuming location and it's a pretty regular tavern feel, but the food was incredible. I had a fish dish, and my mom had a shrimp scampi, both of which were delicious. We had small salads with homemade dressings, which were equally delicious and fresh. But the highlight of our whole experience there was THE MUSHROOM SOUP. If you go to Timeless Tavern and they have the mushroom soup, YOU MUST ORDER IT. That was the best soup either of us have ever had, bar none. Also our waitress, Dawn, was very nice and took care of us well. Definitely would recommend this place.

Food was good, service was ok. Only glitch was when I ordered a beer it came in a tiny glass, (10oz)?, when my wife ordered the same beer it came in a 16 oz glass, when we got the bill the beers were the same price,($5). When I asked our waitress about it she said " I dont know why she does that", and " it was up to the bartender what size glass was used". I wasn't going to argue over a few bucks, but the inconsistency and cavalier attitude towards service will keep me from going back.

Atmosphere was decent and service was good. It had small-town charm. I was glad to see some vegetarian and pescatarian options on such a meat-heavy menu. I got the clams scampi - the clams were overcooked and rubbery, and the pasta was sitting in a sauce that was mainly just a lot of melted butter with garlic.

Ate there with family last night and I was the only one not having a Delmonico steak, I ordered the Greek chicken. The presentation was beautiful, but it had no taste to speak of. The topping with artichoke and blue cheese crumbles was flavorful, but the chicken hadn’t been marinated at all, and the bed of rice it was on didn’t have any flavor either. My family enjoyed their steaks, and the green beans and carrot slices were good. Service was good, prices were high. The ambiance was nice though. I feel like they should probably take that dish off the menu,, or start making the chicken taste like Greek chicken .

The chocolate balsamic strip steak sounded interesting, so I decided to give it a try. While the center of the steak was perfectly cooked, the fat strip was not nearly rendered down as much as it should. The chocolate and balsamic sauce was not enjoyable. It was a very odd pairing and ruined the flavor of the steak. The saving grace was the crumbled blue cheese on top. The three tiny fingerling potatoes had absolutely no flavor, just plain potato. However, they were boiled well. The green beans and the carrot slices were perfect. The service from our server was excellent, but the kitchen was quite slow.

Overall decent. It came rated as a good place to eat in the area by two different people I asked. They had very little beer on tap which was a disappointment, but otherwise had a good drink selection. The food was decent. I had the chocolate balsamic blue cheese strip with the seafood chowder. I wasn't a huge fan of the bread that same with my salad. It smelled like a sweetened desert bread which is not my personal kind of bread. The soup was good. I was both blown away by the steak and also disappointed. It came with 2 little salt potatoes, two, and two pieces of broccoli and two carrot slices. I was not a fan of the lack of sides, I wanted a meal, not a hunk of steak with crumbs on the side. The steak was a monster so for that I applaud them, I actually had to bring half of it home. Its unlike me to not finish the whole meal. The chocolate glaze though, I still cant decide if I liked it or not. It was so confusing. Id get it just to try it but even now, days later, I still cant decide if it was good. The blue cheese on top though was good. If you are in the area its definitely worth giving this place a try.

Eggplant parm less than fair. Spaghetti well over done. Very little (maybe 2-3 tablespoons) sauce. Well over seasoned with way too much basil. Seafood soup very good. Waitress very good. Others at table enjoyed prime rib, clams and pork chops. .

Rude greeter. Asked if they had a takeout menu and he looked at me like I was from Mars. "Takeout Menu? No" Have eaten there once and eggplant was terrible. I enjoy Klippel's, The Local Dining and Spirits, and Jay's, much friendlier and much better food.

Had a very expensive delmonico that was so full of Grissal and so tough it was hard to eat. Half of it was waste and the bill was near $40. Another in our party had a similar experience with sliced sirloin. Talked to the owner who was not very kind. Won't be going back

Owner is an absolute moron! Does not understand how to quote a wait. Empty tables and he stated they were "reserved" yet no one was seated there the rest of the evening!...When asked how long it would be for a table he shrugged his shoulders... He's arrogant an and idiot!

We stopped in to eat dinner at the tavern on our visit to Northville. When we came in to talk to the hostess a guy walked over and asked if we had reservations. We stated we didn't because after looking on their website earlier it said nothing about needing a reservation. He clearly stated that he could not help us and they were "full" for the evening when half of the restaurant looked empty. We asked if he recommended anywhere else good to eat and he responded with saying, "This was the place." Very rude and very arrogant. I would not give him business.

We waited for over an hour then the bald waiter gives our table to another group. He then goofily says I thought you were at the bar. We were at the bar....That's where we were told to wait......... His lame excuse was we're pretty busy......... Poor public service. I've spent at least 100 dollars per week in the summer...... Will not go back. Overpriced and poor service.

These guys have odd hours. The owner takes off at random times, they might be closed during a busy time or it might open during a slow time... It's hit or miss. We've often been told they have no available seating in the restaurant, despite an empty dining room! I know my money isn't as green as the next guy, but you'd think that you could squeeze in a 20 minute dinner. Most recently was told they couldn't accommodate two sandwiches for take-out? Really!? With the medocre food and service, there are much better options locally.

My wife and myself made an-attempt to have dinner at the tavern. The host asked if I had a reservation I said no. The place was half empty then I asked if I could come back in a few hours for dinner she said no , I should have made reservation's weeks ago. All said and done I ended up eating at Sports Island Pub. I own a house in the park and my family owns restaurants from NY to Colorado I am 54 now and have been in my family's Italian restaurant business since I was eleven years old and we have never turned a customer away no matter how busy we are.

First experience here. I walked in with my family and the owner could not have been more rude to us. The restaurant was full the owner refused to give us a wait time. We decided we would sit and have a drink while we waited. When we saw an open booth we asked the owner if we could sit there and he just goes “nope” and walks right past us. Dude, I get that you have a full restaurant and you don’t need our business, but that doesn’t give you a right to be rude to us.

Rude walked in looking for a table - the gentleman that greeted us just said “no” table available. Didn’t ask how many in your group - Didn’t offer a wait time or anything. Seems to only cater to locals.

The Timeless Tavern has absolutely superb food and a cozy atmosphere with friendly service. I am a seasonal resident of Northville, and I find this restaurant to be amazing. The best is their homemade salad dressings. Every time I go, I pay to get several containers of their blue cheese dressing.

Food is mostly tasteless, service was okay but slow. Seated in the bar area which killed the atmosphere when they start turning the radio up, especially when you see wait staff getting drunk behind the bar an inappropriate behavior towards female wait staff...$100+ for two meals that were sub par. Won't be back!

Both of our meals were cold. My husband said his meal was the worst he has ever had. Our daughters meal was luke warm our sister-in-laws drink was awful she didnt drink it ... her husband's steak was cooked to much.

We reserved a room well in advance. Once there you have to go into the tavern to inquire about your room. Waited about 10 mins while customers who came in after me got greeted and seated. About 4 parties. No apology from our host. He took me outside and up a dusty stairway. At the top there was an equally dusty hallway and the floor in our room was gritty. There were no linens for the extra cot we asked for Finally, when we used the Jacuzzi tub the host knocked on the door asking us to drain it because.it was leaking water through the sealing. We had no water on the floor. It was very inconvenient and unprofessional. You should stay elsewhere.
