nice restaurant, a little more upscale than most of the Greek diner type places. service was good, food came out quickly, and everything tasted great. the tzatziki sauce was fantastic. would recommend!

Still as wonderful as it was pre-pandemic! Carry-out is quick and accurate; Courtney is the absolute sweetest person and she is wonderful to check-out with! Portions sizes are perfect and so much flavor! Pictured is carry-out of "lunch" gyro and appetizer spinich pies - our family go-to!

Been here 4 or 5 times now and every time it's been phenomenal. The service, the food and people. They've accommodated our parties of 6-12 multiple times and did an amazing job. My family always gets saganaki, skordalia and sausage for our appetizers. Our go to entree is always lamb and rice, but also the pasta dishes are incredible! Love it here!!

Delicious! Best lamb I've ever eaten. We got the sample plate and a dinner order of Lamb, it was plenty for two hungry eaters. Gotta love the fresh, warm bread to go with it too!

Met my buddy for lunch. He’s been here dozens of times. My 1st visit. The waitress asked my buddy if he wanted the stuffed chicken and said that they had 2 portions left. She said you won’t regret ordering it. It was delicious! Definitely worth the drive for me. I’ll be back soon 😊

I called last minute to get a reservation for 11 people on a Saturday night. They were very busy that night, but still found a way to accommodate our party. The food was outstanding! Every dish was delicious! Even with how busy they were, the service was still timely. Our waitress was delightful and very helpful with food recommendations. If you want a wonderful Greek meal, this is the place for you!

I just carried out the split pea soup. It was amazing!!! I can't wait to eat my Tommy's salad later for dinner! It's always delicious too!

I'm happy to see the comedy club has so many upcoming shows. I believe they've gotten rid of the dinner and a show deal since the last time I was there which is a bummer because the food was good.

You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they do and it shows on the plate. What really sets this place apart is the bar. The bartenders Brittney and Michelle are not only skilled and knowledgeable but some of the kindest and most professional people you'll meet. Whether your trying a classic cocktail or something new, they're happy to help and always make you feel like a regular. Great food, great service and a warm welcoming atmosphere. What more can you ask for? Thank you for always putting a smile on my face.

Was looking for something for dinner and stumbled upon big Tommy's. We chose it because there were so many options on the menu that looked delicious. Went with the flaming fried cheese, roasted lamb, lamb sliders and chicken meatballs. For dessert, we had the Greek custard in phyllo dough. Absolutely blown away without good everything was. Lamb was out of this world and the dessert was spectacular. Couldn't recommend it more and definitely going to go there again next time I'm in town.

Our first time with at this establishment has been absolutely fantastic. Soon as we walk through the door, we’re greeted with a warm welcome. The service from the staff was prompt. We were never kept waiting for anything and our items were cleaned off immediately. The menu is endless and we’re at a great price point for the authenticity and quality. I’d recommend this to anyone who will listen!

BEST BUFFET! You can’t find too many good brunch buffets around anymore. Big Tommy’s is excellent! Not only is there a great selection of breakfast and lunch selections, including pasta, but everything is delicious. As a former food professional, I’m always happy to see that foods are properly displayed and kept at the proper hot and cold temperatures for food safety. They clearly know their stuff. At the omelette station (my favorite), the eggs are kept on ice as they should be. 1,000 extra points right there. I highly recommend!

Always delicious. Love there shrimp ceaser salad. Always tastes fresh and the shrimp are cooked to perfection. Highly recommend going for a late lunch early dinner not sure why they are not more packed. Everyone is nice, welcoming, and the service is great and attentive.

Have ordered their food from Door Dash, & it was great!! But dining there is not to be missed!! We went for New Years Eve. We had a Reservation. Of course they were packed, but I was amazed at how smoothly things moved! We were seated immediately, and given water. Our Server greeted us in mere minutes. Of course we started with Saganaki, which set the mood for the evening! My son ordered the grilled Lamb Chops & I ordered the Greek Trio. The entire meal was off the hook DELICIOUS! And it was hands down, one of my top 5 Dining Experiences! I got some Baklava to go. It was perfection! I fully intend to return to work my way through their fahbulous Menu!! Yamas! Opa!😋😘✨️🫶

This is the best Greek food In Michigan period!!! It’s the little things that make this place stand out. First they have the freshest beets, tomatos and feta cheese. Second they have the best creamy Greek dressing under the sun. I’ve never had better Greek dressing than this. Finally their pasta lemonato and chicken kebobs are unrivaled. Hats off to Big Tommy’s

Brought the family to enjoy the Thanksgiving buffet today. The food was delicious and there were plenty of choices to cover each guest with their unique dietary restrictions. My only complaint was that when we received the bill my son noticed about a 22% gratuity added to the bill. There were only four of us. I almost tipped 52% not seeing that charge already added. I believe it should have been clearly posted or we should have been notified before or when receiving the bill. I also realized after leaving that my child was billed as an adult. While those two things are disappointing, the food is very high quality. It would be wonderful if they offered this buffet again at Christmas time.

I went in for dinner and I thought it was excellent food. I started with the saganaki flaming cheese and then I had the boneless chicken breast entree that comes with 2 chicken breasts, rice, and green beans, all of which tasted amazingly flavorful. I also ordered a side dish of the lemon potatoes and they were really delicious.

Hands down this place is a must. My husband and I went on Sunday. The food is Delicious!!! Vagelis was extremely kind and took time to go over the menu with us. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service was top notch.

The food here was nothing short of fantastic! The restaurant has a nice ambiance. The staff was wonderful. It was my first time there but it sure won't be my last!

Great place to come for a great meal well, you know you’ll end up paying more but the food is definitely worth it and the atmosphere is comforting. I got the lamb chops and I really did enjoy it. Could’ve been a little better but still great! Would definitely recommend coming for a nice outing.

Great food and good portion sizes at a reasonable price. Our waitress was also one of the best I've ever had - attentive, professional and personable. Restaurant acoustics were not great, however. It was somewhat difficult to hear those in your party. (Perhaps reduce the volume of the music?) Also, all three of our menus were perhaps the filthiest I've ever seen. I highly recommend getting new ones as I'm not sure the current ones are salvageable.

If you’re in the mood for some classic Greek cuisine, give Big Tommy’s a try! Whether you’re looking for some lamb chops, lamb shank, moussaka, spinach pie or just a Gyro. This location delivers the goods day in and day out. Some of my personal favorites are the Big T’s Original Parthenon salad and the lamb shank. But everything here is tasty, and I can highly recommend it.

The food was very good! I normally leave 3 stars as normal. However, this place was above that. We got grilled octopus as an appetizer. It was very good! For the main course we split the combo, (mousaka, pastitio, braised lamb, grape leave, rice and peas). We also got a spinach pie. Everything was fresh and tasty! The food here is as good as any in Greektown. And rivals much of the homemade greek cooking i've had, as i am from greek heritage. Service was very attentive. I would have given this place 5 stars if the greek bread was not somewhat stale. My wife and I both enjoyed our meal, and we will definitely be back.

9/24 Meal was very good- Roasted lamb special- roasted perfectly and fell right off the bone. Melted in my mouth. The lemon potatoes were blah. I didn’t taste any lemon. The green beans were fantastic. Husband’s chicken Lemonata was as good as the last time he got it- SERVICE was very lacking- our waiter sat us on the left-hand side. It was a very slow period of time. There was only two other couples- 4:30 -Sat us in the corner booth by the hostess area and once he took our order; disappeared and didn’t return until I had to flag him down to get a refill of water-by that time we were done with our meal. He then returned with bill in hand and asked if we wanted any dessert.-well, if you’ve already came with the bill, I guess we won’t- ———————————————————————————————————- 8/24 Not too busy when we arrived on a Sunday at dinner time- on the far right, there was a rather large party so we were seated to the left-plenty of open tables on the left side. The hostess was very nice and friendly. The food was delicious. Cooked to perfection. I ordered the Greek lasagna starts with a “p”- w/ green beans- very good. Love the red sauce on the pasta dish and those green beans are in the most delicious sauce as well. My husband ordered the Chicken lemonata (sp?) came with two sides. Both were very good. Meal came with fresh Greek bread. We also ordered the traditional calamari. The Calamari has a light breading and although tasty I really didn’t get much of a flavor of the squid- it almost seems so like I couldn’t taste it-I prefer a bit thicker slices of squid Service was very good. Very attentive. Friendly- boxed my leftovers, cleaned our table, refilled our water… an older gentleman who w/ a bit of humor- We definitely will be back as there were many other options we want to try- $55 meal (inc. tip) We didn’t go home hungry😁

My server was very nice, but didn’t really check on me and do all of the things a server is supposed to do. I would like to come back sometime to treat myself to one of the more pricier meals, like lamb shank.

Mom and I went to big Tommy’s for a quick lunch. She had a Greek salad and I had a Gyro sandwich. The food was good. Service was good. Everyone was nice. Definitely would come back again, probably need to bring my wife here for dinner. I normally rate three stars as average five stars as exceptional.

Delicious food. Ate downstairs for a comedy show. Service was sub par. Had to ask for everything-never offered/asked if we needed anything. Drunk lady in the audience during comedy show. Yelling, rude, obnoxious. Three of the four comics talked negatively about her, yet she was never spoken to nor removed. Ruined the show for those around her.

Food tasted as expected but it did seem like it was either reheated or kept warm for too long. The fact that they have taramasalata makes up for the bar type atmosphere. Love that stuff with some warm pita.

Good ambience and food presentation. good portions . However, was disappointed with the quality. Chicken and lamb was hard and veggies a bit sandy. Pita and Hummus was great and service was too good. Generous staff and a place so vibrant otherwise . Quite likely, visited on a wrong day ! Would like to comment on Baklava as well. Seemed not so fresh and too sweet as compared to other places I ate so far.. sorry to be saying that, but wanted to give genuine feedback.

My family and I visited this Greek restaurant after a full day of flying, and the food itself was fantastic — fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we needed. But the end of the meal was a mess. We were only told after dinner that the restaurant doesn’t split checks or allow individual payments. With several different family groups at our table, this created a level of chaos that easily could’ve been avoided with upfront communication. We ended up sitting there for over 20 minutes trying to figure out how only three people could somehow cover a bill of more than $400. One family member had to leave to go to the bank, and another had to put a large portion of the table’s bill on their credit card just so we could get out of there. The food was great, but the checkout situation was extremely stressful. Simply stating the “no split checks” policy before seating guests would save a lot of frustration for large parties like ours.

My husband and I expected to have a nice dinner for Valentines Day. They offered a dinner for two special.. We waited for 2 hours for the food to come out only to be burnt and dry. We spoke with the manager, and it didn't seam to bother her when we complained. I post a picture of the food I received. We spent $80.00 for something that wasn't fit to eat. I ask for a box to take home to my dog. Then, I decided to share my experiences. The way it looks in the box is the way it came to our table on the plate. This is supposed to be a bone in Filet Mignon. I just read your response to my complaint. We absolutely waited two hours. I really wish I could have gotten the couple with the two kids that was there before us. Who had an even longer wait. The probably didn't complain because like us the will Never return to your restaurant. Not everyone write reviews, they just stop coming. Instead of calling me a liar, you should have apologized and left it at that. I have no reason to lie. So I will post your response along with the picture I sent you, on Facebook and Instagram.
