One of the best sushi places in west Orange County! A great selection of sake and wine also, as well as craft beers. Great customer service too! Takeout available.

What an incredible experience! The food was absolutely divine — every roll was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The customer service was 100 out of 10! Not only did they surprise us with a complimentary Sunshine Roll (which was out of this world), but they also recommended pairing a fried chicken dish we ordered with a Sapporo beer to enhance the flavors — and it truly was a flavor explosion! 🍣🍺 Umami Sushi & Izakaya has definitely become our favorite sushi spot in Ocoee. We can’t wait to come back!

Best sushi in the area! Always fresh and a good variety of options even for non sushi eaters! They always take great care of us no matter how large our party is. It is a little unassuming inside the Publix strip mall but it rivals the best in Orlando! Shout out ahi nachos and Coconut Shrimp Roll.

Loved this place! The best tasting and looking Volcano Roll I’ve ever tried with scallops and surimi on top. The staff was very nice and friendly.

Delicious food! The Unagi Don is incredible and worth the price. The sauce isn't the overly sweet one you find at other places. Tried the fatty tuna sashimi and it was divine! A special treat for us indeed, can't wait to come back!

The one-woman team managing the front of the house was efficient, attentive, and handled everything seamlessly. Both the quality of the food and the service made for an enjoyable and well-run meal. The absolute best food ever. Equivalent to climbing Mt. Everest and then getting oxygen with your last breath before you pass out. Tastes better than getting in a hot tub on a cold snowy night.

WOW! I felt like a VIP tonight! Was very surprised when I picked up my takeout order to find it meticulously packaged like I was celebrating a special occasion! I have gotten takeout from there before so not sure what has changed (or because I ordered the sweetheart roll which was AMAZING by the way) but if this is their new normal I recommend it to anyone that wants to impress and surprise someone with a sushi order!

5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Visited: 10/01/2025 – First Day of New Menu I took my daughter here for lunch to celebrate her getting her braces off, and it turned out to be a perfect choice! The staff was kind, accommodating, and genuinely excited about launching their new menu. At first, I was a little hesitant about the prices for the sushi — it was the only part of the new menu available today — but once the food arrived, I realized it was absolutely worth it. We ordered three rolls (one for each of us and one to share) and an order of gyoza to start. The portion sizes were generous, and the presentation was great. By the time the shared roll came out, we were already getting full — but there was no way we were leaving behind the lobster and salmon roll. It was incredible, and we devoured every bite. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. This place is definitely worth checking out for a nice sushi lunch or dinner — don’t let the prices scare you off like I almost did. You really get what you pay for. We’ll definitely be back!

Ok, for all of you sushi lovers we had been dining there for years, previous owner had some health issues, we stopped going. New owners, OFF THE CHARTS GOOD. This place is way better than any of the mainstays in the area, Amur (stinks), Seito (terrible), Dragonfly (worst I've had here), Kabuki ($$$$$$$$), and we have been to many more. Quality of the food is outstanding, freshness is one of the best. Just go try it out and you will see.

Fantastic! The difference is in the details. This place has FRESH food. That you can taste for yourself. The atmosphere is cozy and elegant but not stuffy. The service has been consistently great! Kevin knows the menu (food) and listens to your questions and needs and makes good recommendations. He was attentive, polite and not overbearing. It's been a while since I was impressed by a restaurant but this place does everything right! It's now one of my regular spots for dine in (when I have time) and take out when I don't. Give it a try and you'll see how good a sushi place can be. JR

Me and my fiancé have eaten here a few times. It is beautiful inside, the food is exceptionally good and fair priced we always have an enjoyable experience as well. Usually our server whose name is kevin has an awesome attitude and a great sense of humor as we usually indulge in a couple of bottles of sake while we are there. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to get absolutely stuffed on phenomenal sushi and also enjoy their evening.

Went once. Food was pretty good, but serving sizes seemed small. One of the places I’ve gone to that has fatty tuna nigiri. Ordered from Uber Eats. Mixed tempura was okay. Sushi sampler was pretty good.

Hidden little gem in a middle of a small plaza. Right next to Publix. Great food and ambiancs. You can actually have a talk and hear.

Definitely worth visiting if you live in this area and want good sushi. They have a sushi bar for quick visits. COVID was hard on these small businesses, so you can't expect every detail to be perfect.

We ordered Hawaiian poke as our appetizer, the portion is delicate & refreshing. We had four different specialty rolls like tsunami，rainbow, kraken，dynamite rolls. We were kind of disappointed with the taste of the rolls. The presentation of the rolls were pretty ordinary. Most the rolls has small pieces of either lemon or lime peels on the top of the rolls. Will try the cook food next time to see it will satisfy our taste buds！

I had ramen and bento box. Ramen was okay, but it was not what I expected for ramen. I might have to come back to try sushi instead since all the good review were all about sushi. The servers were very nice and the atmosphere inside the restaurant was great. Great interior design.

Terrible service. Soup was bitter and tasted like chemicals and they have a price on the menu and just randomly changed the price at checkout. There’s more but incredibly dissatisfied.
