Thought I was ordering 2 dozen clams, ended up with two pots(3 doz each) ate them all still, very tasty. Highly recommend
No frills just a great bar with great bar food! Always the first stop when I get to town (and many other stops every trip.)
Love this place! Great pizza and the roof top bar is a must do experience if your in Old Forge! They have entertainment on given nights.
Had a diabetic emergency, and they handled it very quickly and professionally I wanna thank the staff for being so helpful and wonderful in this difficult situation.
We started with the seasoned clams and got a pot! So delicious! Nice and plump! Next the smokehouse bbq pizza and the city lover pizza. Both were delicious and great toppings! We always stop here after a weekend of camping and do not regret it. The service is wonderful and people are always friendly.
This place was surprisingly amazing. We ordered here for some pizza and wings with no expectations and it was outstanding. We come to Old Forge every year and will now make this place part of the regular go to menu. Thank you providing gluten free crust!
Ordered dinner for 4 people. A small 12 in pizza, a fried shrimp platter and bang bang shrimp. Food came out in spurts. When the shrimp platter finally did show up it was cold. Was missing the cocktail and tartar sauce. Waitress spoke broken English and did not understand us. Was extremely rude when I finally went inside to the bar to get the rest of my order. The Tony Harper’s in Lowville serves better food and the wait staff seems to know what they are doing. Maybe instead of opening so many locations, the owner should focus on the locations he has now. Will not go back to the Old Forge location
Such a great experience our server Sandy was a complete delight 😊 we started with 3 doz steamers and they were sweet and delicious and then we tried their wings , just as good but I finished the meal off with their hand breaded clam strips...OMG AMAZING!! My husband had the bison burger and their fries another excellent meal. Cannot wait to go back!!
The food was Delicious 😋. Service was Fast, Friendly, clean. We sat outside, we are Steamed Clams, the others with us had, chicken tenders, fries, and Pulled Pork Sandwich. We did not wait long for our food, it was hot and OOOOH SOOOOO GOOOOOD
My mother and I went to the Old Forge location and the our server was good to us. We got the Sunday special (large cheese pizza and 10 wings) for $23. Our pizza and wings were good, but their lobster bisque was fantastic.
Looked for a Friday night fish fry and Tony Harper's did not disappoint! The mechanics of ordering were a little confusing for a newbie, but the wait staff was friendly and helpful. Food was plentiful and excellent. They even had the Angry Orchard Cider I like on tap - that never happens - it's so much better than bottled!
Tony Harper’s is consistently good. Service was excellent and food was delicious. Keep it up!!
OMG!! This place is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I'm so glad we chose Tony Harper's out of all the restaurants on the strip. The atmosphere is very cool, relaxed, friendly and comfortable. The bar is phenomenal (and wraps around the outside). The specialty cocktail menu is carefully crafted and the cocktails are delicious! I enjoyed the outside seating as well as this is where we chose to eat our dinner. Dinner was TO DIE FOR! I had a yummy fresh brewed iced tea and others had delish lemonade. The pizzas are so ridiculously delicious that they are easily in my top 3 faves of all time. The Phili Cheese steak was fresh and weighed about 3lbs! Our server was super sweet, and the 17 times I complimented the food, she warmly said "Thank You" every time. 3 people stuffed our bellies with incredible food (and have 2 to go boxes), cocktails and drinks for under $60! This is DEFINITELY the place to eat on the strip! New Note: Today (next day) I finished my pizza (cold) in the car on the way home. It was DELICIOUS!
A party of six during the dinner rush, but they accommodated us quickly. Cheese steak, bison burger, wings, pizza- everything was spot on. Nice craft beer selection- and they are on Untapped! Special orders/modifications were not a problem and our server, CJ- the absolute best. He is prompt, friendly and helpful- couldn't ask for better service. Looking forward to our next trip- we've found our new favorite place to grab a bite in Old Forge!
From Syracuse NY and when we come up here every year we just HAVE to stop here. We pick a different pizza every time, this time we got the Big Pig. MY NEW FAVORITE. We always get the Whiskey wings because the homemade sauce is perfect and never fails. And then we also got the Daytona wings. Love the honey mustard flavor to it. This time we ordered to go and it came out hot ready when we walked in. Always look forward to coming here! Staff is always nice and friendly as well!
Stopped at Tony Harper's in Old Forge while visiting for the day. I was impressed that there were some unique items on the menu. I would have preferred a vegetarian or vegan option, but didnt find one. Even so, my food was delicious. The kids really enjoyed it as well. And the staff were very friendly and attentive. Indoor or outdoor dining is available.
Food was amazing... service was odd. But I think this time of year and with server needs, had to order to the bar and then get number so server could find us. Not simpliest of solutions, but everything went smooth and we got our food quite quicker than we were told so that is an A++. Food though cooked to perfection. And hot to the table.
First time personally coming here. I got boneless chicken with the whiskey sauce, 12 inch pizza with light cheese and half pepperoni, and an order of fries. The chicken was absolutely incredible. Real white meat and it was fried perfectly. Fries were hot and typical of a good French fry. Pizza was your typical bar pie but that being said it also was really really good. GET THE CHICKEN ITS AMAZING
Came here on a vaca. Great food. Crispy wings. Awesome whisky sauce. Pizza was really great.. Think crust, flavorful garlic sauce on the margarita. Best Pizza and wings I've had in a while.
If you drive through Old Forge NY and don't stop at this most unique bar, restaurant, pizza parlor, and clam shack, I am sorry, but we can no longer be social media friends! Bartender Maja was as efficient, pleasant, and an all-around best bartender in the Adirondack Mountains! Delicious, and I mean Delicious, Long Island Ice Tea I have ever had cross my lips! So, come for the burgers, stay for the drinks and for goodness sake, don't forget the clams, and Pizza's!
Our family stopped at Tony Harper's for a quick lunch while shopping in Old Forge. They have excellent Covid-19 protocols in place, which actually made ordering and service even easier. We greatly appreciated Tony Harper's being open with the pandemic challenges in the area. Our lunch was delicious and exactly what we needed. See pictures.
Ate on the patio and had a lovely time. We went with our dog on a nice spring afternoon and sat at a table near the sidewalk. Our drinks and food were delicious, my only complaint is that we ordered drinks, an appetizer, and two entrees at the window all at once and we waited probably 20 minutes without any drinks and then suddenly everything came all at once. Everything was tasty but it would have been nice to have drinks to sip on while we waited. It was a random warm day in spring though so they were probably very busy! The garlic knots were amazing!
I really like there food there! It's more open and it's bigger than the Inlet location. It's often busier to so it's depends on how many servers they have on to get good service. I had a slice of cheese pizza there today and it was delicious!
I would recommend Tony Harper's to everyone. Their pizza and wings are always a hit and eveytime we've gone no matter the time of year the staff is always great and personable. We've found this to be true at each of their locations. (We recently visited their other location this week and can confirm the quality is just as good)
Our first time here this weekend and it was excellent. The food was good, fun atmosphere and Kara was great !!
Keeping this one short - quality place with good pizza and wings. We got a sausage and cherry pepper, and a supreme minus the red onion and black olive. Both very good. They have quality spirits and friendly, helpful staff that works together. We also got mild and hot wings. They are slightly breaded, and the hot is not very hot. It was more like an almost medium, but tasty. They were naturally crispy with the light breading. Highly recommend.
Best eatery we've enjoyed locally! We tried the pulled pork pizza this time. Outstanding flavor! Stole a hot garlic wing from a friend and that was tasty too. The staff were all very warm + friendly. We'll be back again next year!
All I can say is WOW. GOLD STAR FOR LETITIA- she was so wonderfully helpful. Also, we loved SOPHIA our waitress. Honestly everyone who works there is so fun and friendly- our family had a blast. And the pizza was delicious. Especially the one with the tomato garlic basil. I dream of it.
Absolutely amazing experience! Ate out doors with my little family. Staff was very polite, consistently checking on us and communicated well! We ordered our own separate pizzas and they were all in phenomenal! Best pizzas we’ve had yet! Also wonderful experience watching deer stroll by as we ate. Highly recommended!
Paige our server was great. They have a bar , Sports on TV and music playing. There are outdoor seating with picnic tables picnic tables with umbrellas add bar seating as well as regular seating. They can accommodate larger groups. We had a specialty pizza, salads clam chowder a bucket of clams and a lobster roll and hamburger. Something tasted funny not fishy but odd the Caesar salad so we sent that back. The clam chowder was running did not seem like a homemade can of chowder otherwise the rest of the food was great. And given it's in Old Forge the pricing was good and the weight was not long especially since we just got out of the Enchanted Forest as did many others and so the town was flooded with people. I would definitely return visit
As frequent winter visitors to the area, Tony Harper's has become our absolute favorite spot to dine every week we're in town. The food is always consistently outstanding, never missing the mark! The Whiskey Wings are a true standout--whether you go for bone-in or boneless, they're packed with flavor and easily our top choice. If you haven't tried them yet, you're missing out! We were also blown away by the freshness and flavor of the Bucket of Clams--they exceeded our expectations in every way. The pizza is consistently delicious, and the sandwiches never disappoint. My personal favorite is the Naked Raquette, which I highly recommend. After years of visiting, we've never had a bad meal. Esther, the manager, adds so much to the experience with her warm and welcoming personality. She's always attentive, ensuring every guest is enjoying their time. Nick and Hannah behind the bar are fast, friendly, and create amazing drinks. The beer selection on tap is always cold and refreshing. Every visit is a highlight, and we can't wait to return each week!
We come here a couple times a year and it is always different, ranging from miserable (bad service, uniformed staff, ran out of clams at a clam shack?) to moderately exceptional. This last visit was made great by our server who was exceptionally pleasant, attentive and accommodating. Food has great potential, beer menu is not always up to date but has some good options, outdoor seating is great for dogs and kids in the warmer months.
Bartender wasn't too attentive... spent most of his time socializing with an off duty employee that was at the bar, pretty rude....
When we walked into the place, we were hit with a cool bar vibe. We got seated pretty fast, and our drinks came out almost right away. The food was pretty good overall. The pizza was decent, and the other stuff we ordered was alright too. We did find some hair in one of the drinks, but they quickly swapped it out for a new one. Everything else seemed fine.
This is a great place for reasonably priced food. You can find something for most tastes at this restaurant. They offer gluten free pizza and buns for sandwiches and burgers. The best part is that you find reasonable value here in a resort town. I highly recommend this joint for a meal for a couple of family. We had a salad, cheesesteak, and gluten free hamburger. We didn't ask if the fries were gluten free, it's possible they have a separate fryer so ask first.
First time eating here as we made our annual trip to Old Forge. Pretty sure COVID19 has caused them staffing shortages just as it has everyone else. My guess is they changed their way of serving guests. That being said.....while the food did take some time to come to us, it was not nearly as long as the hour we were told from the bartender. Well the pizzas we ordered were over an hour but other foods were not. It was worth the wait and we really enjoyed our time here. I hope you can get back to what I think your normal staff would look like in the near future.
This is a great place for pizza if you've got time. With three small girls, the wait is a little long to sit through (the ONLY reason they're getting only 4 stars). Luckily there's an open space right next door to run around in while we wait. The pizza is delicious once it comes out! Their wings are mouth-watering too. I haven't tried their clams yet, but they haven't disappointed me yet!
The fish sandwich was good but both of us who ordered the cheese steak felt it was was dry, few peppers no mushrooms or onions to see or taste. Salty, Overcooked very disappointed. It was not crowded but it took forever for the food to come out. Their specialty chips were amazing. Not impressed.
Their use of paper plates gives this place a NY pizzeria vibe, which is cool. The food is solid. Especially the clam pizza! Healthy amounts of garlic, mozzarella, and tender clams. It’s basically a garlic pizza with clams on it. 🤯 Their SRQ chips are super tasty too. It’s a unique mix of flavors that is hard to explain. I’m pretty sure there’s balsamic drizzle in the drizzle, fo shizzle. ✌🏻
We were in town for our annual weekend of Water Safari and Adirondack fun. A late night at the park turned into a walk into town for dinner. An easy pick with nice outdoor seating and a full menu. Although they don't have a kids menu there are menu options like pizza by the slice for them. We had the chowder and the chips with some slices and it was delish! Had to save room for the Pied Piper.
I had a fish sandwich on the top floor. They call it the sky bar. It was yummy. It was real fish not some weird plank that you get at some places. The bun was very good the tartar sauce was very good. The tartar sauce is important to me, it can make or break the sandwich! I had a good draft beer. The only negative is that the whole place didn't feel very clean. There was a nasty smell going up the stars to the sky bar. They actually have grass growing up there. I will definitely go back.
Food was good, I tried a barbecue pizza, a bison burger, and a chicken sandwich. I'd probably try a different pizza but the burger and sandwich were both cooked to the doneness asked and tasted great. There is no waiter, just menus at the tables and have to go up and order which was a bit of a hassle with a party of 9.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4 stars – Solid lunch spot for a group, but don’t expect expert guidance We had lunch at Tony Harper’s with a group of eight, and it worked out well overall. There’s plenty of space, a casual vibe, and a menu with enough variety to keep everyone satisfied. The clam strips and fish fry were the highlights — fresh, tasty, and exactly what we were hoping for in a lakeside town. That said, the service could’ve been better. When we asked our server what the place was known for or what he recommended, we got a shrug and a “I don’t know, whatever you like.” No mention of any signature dishes or local favorites, which made ordering a bit of a shot in the dark. The food came out hot and mostly hit the mark. The pizza wasn’t our favorite — soft and heavy on the cheese — but not terrible. Prices were slightly above average, but fair for a tourist town. If you’re in Old Forge with a group and looking for a relaxed, casual lunch, Tony Harper’s is a good option — just go in knowing you’ll have to figure out the best dishes on your own.
Food was great! I was brought the wrong wings, wanted the hot garlic got butter garlic, no biggie, just ordered a side of hot sauce. Wings were very well done and I mean almost perfect. Pizza was good drinks were nice and the service despite the little wing mix up was fantastic.
We ordered a Broadway-style pepperoni pizza and traditional hand-tossed Fiery Pepperoni pizza (jalapeno and crushed red pepper added). Both were excellent. Sadly, the poutine took a little too long to come to our table. It is listed as a "starter," yet it got to our table after the pizzas did. Also, the poutine wasn't very hot, and it could have used more gravy. Very nice atmosphere, and the place is conveniently located.
I have been visiting Old Forge for years. I love thin crust pizza, and actually seek it out in my travels. I have had lots of places’ version of thin crust, even try to make it at home. When they are “on”, the Tony Harper’s in Old Forge has some of the best thin crust “broadway” style pizza anywhere. The Hunter is my favorite. Some of my family’s best casual dinning experiences and memories have been here. And it’s not just the pizza, the whole menu and experience can be an experience talked about for years. When they are “off”, like swamped or the right person is not running the kitchen, buyer be aware. You may have to suffer through 40 + minutes of waiting only to be told the broadway pizza is not available today (happened twice to my family). If the thin crust pizza wasn’t as good as it actually is, when you get a good one, I would have stopped going a long time ago. The pictures included in this review represent pizza’s and service that were excellent.
This Tony Harpers is the most consistent out of them. Be prepared you may have to wait, so put your name in and they will txt you when a table is ready. Service is great..hands down real people and friendly. Food is Good and usually consistent at this one. We are here pretty much every weekend and Sunday is Funday, pizza and wings special.
Had a nice cold beer while waiting for our pizza. Bartender was friendly and sociable, beer was great. Its our 1st time having g the pizza, not what we are used to being from western ny , more of a thin crust but the taste was great ! We will definitely be stopping here on future trips.
Food and service was excellent. Had a well made pizza. The place is a bit noisy and little confusing. Two entrances but must use the front for seating. Open window to outside seating at bar. Large wall video adds to confusion. It is dark. However welcoming to families and large or small groups. A good venue with good value.
Idk what happened, but, drove 2 hours specifically for their wings. We wanted to get out, had a couple drinks across the street, and stopped in instead of taking it to-go. The pizza was excellent, cooked perfectly, tasted great. Big issue, the wings came out first, like 5 minutes ahead of the pizza, and were barely crisp. They were drenched in sauce (tasted very good) but they're breaded wings and need to be crispy. I asked for them to be crispy when I ordered them as well. The 2 of us were starving and they smelled really good so we ate a couple but that was it, THEN, the pizza was dropped off. If they only oet the wongs go as long it would have been perfect, less some sauce. These type if wings should almost be dipped rather than an tossed in the sauce. Anyway, hope this can be done better in the future. Also, getting sat right bely the door, when there's open seats elsewhere is kind of off putting, especially during snowmobile season. 🥶 Looking forward to a better visit in the future. Server was great, except for the wings. (Gotta tell them to serve together)
It was good. Service was super slow. They weren't really prepared for a big groups that came in. On the train. It says it's a clam shack but all they had was steamed clams. They didn't have fried clams. They didn't have any other clam dinner except for clam chowder and steamed clams. Mid
We arrived just before 4pm on a Monday and waited 8 minutes before we were seated. There were many empty tables. Then we waited 10 minutes for a server while we saw a later arriving group place their order. Finally we met a server. Our pizza was average. The music was too loud. This was our first and last visit to this eatery.
Food was good but bland. The atmosphere is cool and the folks were nice. The waiter only came by once to drop off the drinks and once right before we were done. Kitchen folks dropped off the food. It wasn’t busy so that wasn’t an excuse but that’s alright. We were just stopping by for the day.
Waiter was too chatty, didn't take down orders right, food for two people came out fairly timely but pizza for other couple was 15-20 minutes later. Food ok, atmosphere ok, service not ok.
Service was spotty - we waited over 15 minutes to put in an order, staff simply ignored my wife, not acknowledging her. I wanted us to leave, but she insisted. Pizza slices then came out fast and hot. They were very greasy but tasted good. The owner or manager could be seen checking on and talking with guests, so maybe sit down service is better.
Food was not as good or as generous as the Inlet location. Mild wings were outstanding. Clem chowder was flavorful but thin broth. Fish fry was not good.
Always stop here when in Old Forge. The red, white and blue wings are AMAZING. Wings are nice and crispy! Pizza is always great too. Shrimp po boy was a little underwhelming. Service is a little hit or miss. This last trip a party was waiting a bit to be seated/for hostess to come out, when there was plenty of open seating. The bus boy seated them and then another staff member was just rude in the way she spoke to him in the middle of the dining room, telling him only certain people are allowed to seat people.
For the past 15 years we always hit Tony Harper's up when we come up here. Usually good food/service. This year.... we ordered our food at 7:09. Burgers/salads came out within 20 minutes. The two pizzas... An HOUR and half later... No apologies but thankfully they took of $1.50 for each pizza. That's just a slap in the face. It wasn't crazy busy.
I would have added 2 more stars if they simply did not serve stale hard chips with your meal...just serve with fries or even a bag of store brand chips would be better. The breaded fish and chicken strips have no flavor and look almost burnt. Cost is too high for the quality of food you receive. I get this is a tourist town so I'm willing to pay more but pretty disappointed with our meals.
Always enjoy coming here.... ordered a Buffalo Chicken pizza (medium flavor).... it came out with no buffalo sauce. Bartender / waiter got me some to dip it in but never corrected the kitchen staff.... kudos for trying to make it right, but they also need to inform the cook so he can be aware of his mistake for the future.....
Went with five people. All ordered at the same time, within five minutes the sandwich order came, ten minutes after that the one pizza order came, five minutes after the first pizza the second came and ten minutes after the second the third pizza came. They forgot to make the fish fry. So each of the five people were eating af different times after the same table with one still waiting
Disappointing. We had a large party here on an outing for a wedding and split into two tables to be accommodated. They told us they wouldn’t split the bill which was inconvenient. We waited for thirty minutes before they even took our order. When they brought the food finally, one member didn’t get either of her sides; another only got one side; the pizza ordered was completely wrong and by the time they brought the correct one everyone had finished eating and we were leaving so he had to take it to go. While we were waiting for it to come out we saw a chef in the back eating and walking around. Menu prices were deceiving. They were flat numbers but when we received the check each item had additional change tacked on. The menu stated nothing about an up charge. Very disappointing experience and will not be returning.
Nate was extremely rude when we arrived to pick up our togo order. As soon as we walked in he looked up and says "were closed!" After we informed him that we had a take out order he tells us they're out of bone in wings so replaced them with boneless. Which is fine-but a heads up would have been nice or even an apology. After getting back to the hotel we realize they aren't even boneless, they're pieces of grilled chicken cut up and tossed in sauce. The pizza was good- lacked pepperoni. While paying he says to us "what do you expect we're out of everything's it's been a very busy night" almost putting the blame on us. We're paying customers so we expect to get what we pay for. He then tells us "you guys are being rude!" Nate needs a training in customer service.
Ordering at the bar is totally fine, but when the bartender keeps talking to others and doesn't acknowledge you at all, that's not awesome. "Hi, be just a minute" isn't hard. Chicken bacon ranch sandwich was messy and tasteless. "Spicy" fries are fries with a bunch of seasoning dumped on top, so you get an inedible pile. Not worth the money. Custom pizza was good. 2 stars because friends really liked the white garlic sauce.
My family has been coming to this place for years. My grandfather loved it when he was alive and as it’s been a while since I came, I was excited to revisit it. It was very busy, so the wait time was expected to be long, and that’s fine. The hostess was extremely nice, and updated us as we waited there. And the food did take longer, but again, that was expected. However, our waiter barely came over and after years of not visiting… I’m wondering if nostalgia baiting me into missing this place. The food was… just ok. The pizza was cooked well, but it left a lot to be desired. The lobster roll was an odd “lobster salad” that was sweet, though someone else at my table really liked it, so that is left for interpretation. But it was agreed that the pizza (the thing this place is known for) was incredibly, as the kids say, “mid”. The whiskey wings were very delicious though, so I’d highly recommend that. I, however, won’t be back.
Extremely slow, inattentive service. Waited over an hour for food(was not by any means busy). Food came out cold and soggy, and salad was missing dressing and chicken. Fried shrimp and scallops were microwaved out of a frozen bag, and fries cold and soggy. Had to flag down another waitress to get orders corrected and was unable to get our waitress's attention to return food. 1/2 hour later, chicken comes out, and another ten minutes goes by and dressing makes it to the table. Drinks had been empty for 45 minutes at this point. Had to walk up to hostess to ask for bill and still waited yet another 30 minutes. Left cash on table and left. Will not be returning. For a place that's got a great reputation and an old forge tradition, we were very disappointed. Your patrons deserve better than frozen food thrown in a microwave or under a heat lamp- I can get better food at a truck stop for 1/2 what this meal cost.
Spent a couple hours on the roof top bar tonight. The bartender didn’t talk to a soul and was on her phone almost the whole time I was seated (2hours). I understand it’s hard to get employees, but this is pure ignorance. Ordered food to take home with me and I saw the cook blatantly not wearing gloves while he plated my meal. Every time he would touch product, he would wipe his hands on his shorts instead of just wearing gloves. I get it, we’re in a vacation environment that gets busy. But there’s no excuse for negligence. Will not be back Update: chicken tenders were mostly black from being over cooked and not paid attention to. Burger was actually decent, but the side of chips were ice cold.
Do not go out of season. It's June 23rd been here many times no issue. Ordered 3 dozen clams out of clams so ordered 2 orders of mussels brought one lemon garlic and one mussel marinara. Never given options, no one likes mussels marinara. Ask customers don't just give them one of each. Super dissappointing for $100 bill for 2 people. DO BETTER.
This is the most inconsistent business in the entire area. Food is hit or miss, doesn't matter if they are busy or not you are going to take a gamble here. Getting your entire order is a slim chance. Getting the server to pay any attention to you or ask if you need anything, even slimmer. Getting food that's actually appetizing is 50/50 and that's being generous. Drinks were atrocious, service horrible, food not that great and never got our entire order (and what we did receive was partially wrong as well). I try to give this place business but it's getting difficult, I feel like a chump every time I give this place money. There are plenty of far better establishments in town and surrounding areas, I wouldn't waste your time here unless you're desperate.
Was seated and waited nearly 30 minutes, not a single person came to offer us drinks or ask for our order. Multiple tables were seated after us and all of them were served.
Terrible 1st No Clams(ps in the name) 2nd 1.5 for food Staggered 1 app 15 min later 2 app not ours argue with waitress not our food pick up put down another table 3rd food came. Grease wasn't changed for fried food. Waitress bailed on us nice server pick up blonde hair. We reviewed the slice pepp kid order last 1.5 hour later and did take off but it was premade. Totally terrible 😔 Blamed on being busy but only 5 tables
Twice now completely disappointed even trying to visit this establishment. 1st on the day before Labor day 2025, was told to go to the back to the coffee shop to order our food and wait for a phone call to tell us when our food was done, was not shown to a table, or given menus or anything resembling any kind of good service, so we left completely disgusted with the guy and the place. Wanted to try again looked up the hours on the website. It said they were open till 11pm on September 3rd. Drive an hour and a half to get there and a sign is on the door for employee appreciation and it's closed, music was playing loud everyone enjoying themselves but my family and I...forced again to eat greasy frozen run of the mill bar food at another place. Will never try again to even eat here as the service, and honestly caring about customers means nothing as management didn't seem to think letting customers know they were not even open on any social media, or the website or anything. Completely disgusted with this establishment and will never try to go to any of them or suggest anyone ever go. Thanks for the massive waste of time, gas, and ruining what should have been a good time.
First time going there and will not be returning. The service was ok but the food was horrible and lets not forget the food is overpriced for the portion they give. I ordered seasoned rice and they gave me plain white rice in a small bowl for 5.15 thats ridiculous. Its wasn't even season. Why put that on the menu if you're just going to give plain white rice. I also ordered a make your own pizza which was supposed to be a 16 in and its was small more like 12 or 10 inches. And it was burnt. Ordered 1/2 lb shrimp and there was like 8 piece or so how is that 1/2 lb for ? And last ordered the chimichurri bowl thats was like 5 small pieces of steak on some rice for $20 is ridiculous. Oh lets not forgot my drink was 6.18 for a cup of strawberry water more or less. Which is ridiculous, it tastes nasty basically like flavor water. Ordered the strawberry breeze non alcoholic. Very disappointed. Do not recommend. Will not be returning. Horrible food. My total came to 64 and change. For that price dinner for two theres other places you can go for better food. If I could give zero stars I would.
This place was a huge disappointment, especially after reading the other reviews. We expected top notch food and service, but that is so far from what we got. The wings were underdone and breaded which takes away a gluten-free option. Not tasty at all. They did make the boneless wings gluten-free, but they were overcooked. The pizza was not very good either. If you want pizza and wings, go elsewhere like Up North. The loaded fries were extra crispy and did not have all the toppings as written on the menu. The best thing we got was the garlic knots. The clam chowder was nothing special. After we got our order, the waitress did not check on us or keep the drinks filled. We had to call for her in order to get her attention to get refills and the bill. We wish we would have known about the credit card fees before we came so that we would have brought more cash. Prices are high to begin with, so paying 3 % more for using a credit card adds insult to injury. The bathroom wasn't good either. I almost got hit by the stall door after washing my hands due to where everything is located. Plus, the handwash was empty.
12 chicken tenders and 16 “garlic knots” was 85 dollars. Chicken tenders were over cooked and grey. Garlic knots were extremely small for almost 2 dollars each with barely any garlic. This was a pick up order that wasn’t even ready when we got there. Extremely disappointed will not be returning.
It's sad to write this review place must be under new owners or something. My fiancee and I have drove 2 hours to come here numerous times, even during covid spent about 5 hours here and probably 300.00 in that time. Let's fast forward to this past weekend. Stayed in an air bnb and of course had to try our spot tony harpers. Me and my son got tenders and my fiancee got a hot honey chicken sandwich and we got boneless wings to share. See attached photos. The tenders were maybe 1/4 inch thick looked like they were rolled around in old oil and seasoning dryer than hell and tasted like and old boot. My fiancee got one measly little Tomato on her chicken sandwich and the chicken should have been what they used for tenders it wasn't even a breaded filet and they might have put a spray of sauce out of a spray bottle on it. 87.00 later it was rough and a joke. I ended up throwing the food out and eating the container. After my fiancee leaving a review on here they blamed it on the to go containers. They also stated come back the next day and see a manager for a refund. Went back the next day talked with the bartender asked about the manager she said sorry no manager on until 4. Showed her the pictures and she wasn't impressed. So I spent 87.00 threw away garbage food and a place that I loved and frequented often I will never step foot in again. I think the tenders were fried squirrel filets by the size of them.
