Great service and great food! We visited from out of town, it was off season when we went, but the weather was nice and you could tell they weren't fully staffed yet. The owner sat us, he apologized numerous times for the wait, which was all of 15 minutes. He told us the history of the location and how his family has owned it since 1971. Our server was great, she made great recommendations. She was busy, but she was great. The Prime Rib was simply amazing, and the twice baked potato was phenomenal! We will definitely dining again when we come back to town!

I've been visiting the Adirondacks for more than 30 years. The Steakhouse has been one of my "go to's". The wait staff is 2nd to none! Always friendly and welcoming. (They laugh at my jokes) The food is phenomenal 😋 The chef is a hidden jewel! Can't waite to visit again!

Great place to grab a nice dinner. The waitstaff are personable and very quick on their feet. Food is great and the daily specials are a good way to select your meal.

Reservations are suggested but not required. We were 4 without them and we got seated pretty quickly. It was busy but it did take a while to order food. The food was really good but the whole reason we went there was to have the special of sirloin for 2 with 2 salads and 2 sides. Unfortunately for us is they were sold out and this was at 6pm. Had to quickly pick something else. 2 of us had the stuffed pork chops which were delicious. The Yankee pot roast was also very good. We would go again

Helpful, nice people. Food, after we got it after over hour wait was pretty good. Cole slaw tasty, fish, haddock ok, baked potato very good. Attitude, place was very. Busy only one chef? Lady that waited our table, no apologies. Food was not worth the wait..

The stakes were cooked to order but not worth the price. The glass of pino noir tasked corked or the bottom has been open the previous day. In summery a mediocre steak house not worth the price.

Everyone was really friendly! Got seated pretty quickly. Nice atmosphere. The food was not very good! My daughter ordered the chicken tenders, they were over cooked and dry. I ordered the pork loin special, pork was cooked perfectly but the stuffing and gravey were bland and no flavor! Too much gravy covered the whole pork loin! I was very disappointed! Went there specifically for my birthday dinner! I was hoping for better!

My experience at this establishment warrants a strongly unfavorable review. After a fifteen-minute wait in the hallway, I inquired about the delay with an employee at the cash register. The employee consulted with the owner, who instructed us to continue waiting. Consequently, our party of four departed. Regardless of any positive feedback regarding the cuisine, I will not be returning to this establishment.

Horrible !! We called for our reservation at 7pm. The man on the phone said come in a couple minutes earlier I'll seat you. We got there waited 10 minutes at the door. We got seated at our table our waitress came told us the specials and left for twenty minutes until finally another waitress came over and took our order. We waited another hour in a half for our dinner and finally after waiting so long another table next to us got up with me and went and asked when our dinner would be ready. The man said he told us it could take up to two hours for our dinner!!! He said he told us that on the phone, which he NEVER said!! Who would wait two hours for a meal??? Ridiculous!! We all left and went to Tony Harper's got seated and ate within a half hour!! I would never go back to the steakhouse again!! The managers attitude was so disgusting and rude!

honestly if i could give this place 0 stars i would. not only was the food so bland but also SO expensive. i ordered a steak and a side of steamed veggies. for my steak it was not even seasoned AT ALL and had no flavor. However it was cooked perfectly. For my steamed veggies, this was the worst part. they served me one piece of broccoli on a big plate… this place is a joke. if i could post a picture of my food i would. place was ridiculous

Had a horrible experience for dinner celebrating an 80th birthday. This is our 2nd bad experience here and this one was horrible. To start, my son cut his "fresh baked" roll and it had mold inside it. We notified the staff and they apologized. Next, we ordered a medium-well steak for 2 which came with 1 baked potato and about 6 pieces of brocolli to share among 2 people. The steak came out rare as could be. We returned it to the waitress and she came out a few minutes later with the steak and said "that should be better"....it was now medium rare instead of just rare. I have the picture attached. Needless to say we did not eat it. My sister in law ordered chicken parm which was a tad warm, the cheese wasn't melted and the sauce looked like they scoped puree straight out of a can. No spaghetti or pasta side, and we were charged extra for the dressing for her salad. My son ordered mac and cheese and it was boxed mac and cheese and my mother in law ordered the special....stuffed pork and it was so Ober cooked it was like she was sawing through it to even cut it. They knew we had all these issues and they had the audacity to charge us extra for the sour cream for our potato, our dressing for our salad AND they added 20% gratuity without even notifying us that's what they do. Horrible experience

Waitress was unsure of the food items that were served, items on the specialty menu that were pictured were incorrect and did not have the listed foods that they were advertising at all . My son's applesauce came out hot, rotten cucumbers, (number one cause of salmonella )fishy lobster tails over boiled hard and chewy, My steak was overcooked and tough. When I ordered a king demonico there was still blue veins and gristle all through it... I specifically ordered french fries just to suck up the juice from the steak. There was no steak juice at all on the plate... Not pleased at all. I understand it's a tourist town and most people are only going to eat there once, I felt zero pride in anything that was going on there and their food or their business.. Coming from somebody with an associate's degree in culinary arts, Applebee's steaks are better , and they come in frozen... One adult two children 140 bucks ...Pitiful
