If you ever get a chance to ski or snowboard in this area, you must visit Squaw Valley. It's the first week of February 2020 and the weather is awesome. For you parents, this mountain is very cool for the children. I came here without my family. But Squaw Valley is my family's next vacation destination.

Easily accessible bathrooms is all I usually ask for in a ski lodge. I found these to be convenient and clean while traveling through the lodge to get to skiing

Great place with cool peeps they have food, drinks, booze and chairs. Good stop off location between runs bomb sandwiches and killer views I guess.

Just skid many granite chiefs and now getting turnt at Jess’s bar (Arc Bar.. they should change the name). If you’re going to blow your load at any CA ski resort, do it at Squaw Valley!!

Foods good. No sugar free powerade but the chicken sando is delicious. I would post a Pic but I ate it hella fast!

Great food. Get there around lunch because after lunch everything is closed. I recommend the Asian bowl with orange chicken.

Some of the friendliest staff on the mountain work at this unique "ski through" Starbucks, located at Gold Coast at the top of the Funitel!

After years of staying here it is still the best! Underground parking, next to Starbucks , walk to the nearby chair lifts, full kitchens with dishes.

The Funitel is a great way to get up the mountain and Gold Coast is the terminus station of the "Funny Tube"

take this lift, it's just way faster than the other one that goes to high camp. Great starting point for home run.

Go find Mona at the bar, always a smile and just a pleasure to see her year after year, in the corner bar on the middle deck i think they named it 39 degrees or something. Just an awesome deck/view/experience...and if you just paid $179 for a ticket whats another $10 for a beer :-)

Excellent food court, place to warm up and fill up. Great selection from Asian, Mediterranean, burgers, and soups/chili. Upstairs from the Arc is the Funitel down to the village. Did you find this helpful? Please like the post and I'll keep writing!

I would suggest that you would come down to the base and eat some food there but some people prefer to eat on the mid mountain. You can just go out of the train car and go and eat without going outside. They have racks for ski and snowboard. Awesome place.

Comfortable and easy to traverse with skii boots on.

Decent selection of food, some items made far better than others.nothing to rave about, but hits the spot when your hungry. Expect to spend a premium being mid mountain, better than Heavenly food options.

Typical Starbucks with an outside ski-through window. However, it was closed around 3 o'clock.

Ski cafeteria at the top of the Funitel. Nothing special about the place and typical high prices of a in-mountain ski eatery. The premade salads are a nice change over the typical burger and fries fare. Employees are super nice but sometimes they are overwhelmed during the busy lunch hour.

It's fine place for ski food, though like all the rest is very expensive. I'm so happy to see they brought back standard plastic glasses for water unlike the conical water glasses they had last year.

Pretty typical mid-mountain food options. Plenty of outdoor seating which allows you to gaze over many sections of the mountain. Indoor seating is a bit limited and bathrooms are fair.

Better food than many ski lodges but same type of American comfort fare. Expensive and very! crowded when I was there. Convenient in the gondola building centrally located in the middle of the upper terrain.

Nothing super special about this area. Just your typical ski rest area equipped with free water and overpriced sandwiches/snacks. Has a tune up station to fix/adjust your gear.

Always great for a caffeine boost while on the mountain. The drinks are acceptable here, but not always made with the right ratios of milk to espresso

Packed on a Saturday for lunch. Prices are what you would expect for a mid mountain ski lodge but food was bot great.

This Starbucks is great for breaks with a need for caffeine but is often busy and drinks can take a long time to get from door to door.

The Arc has expensive food, but for the convenience it's that or pack your own food.

The location is great, and the bathrooms are ample but the space is lacking and the food is just meh. A world-class ski area like TSASTBFKA Squaw Valley deserves a better lodge experience.

Cafeteria line food stop with two bars, a coffee shop, lockers, restrooms and a terminus to the funitel. Have also recently added a ski wax station by the upper level exit (near the Starbucks). Outdoor patio with a bar service window for convenience. Can get pretty crowded around lunchtime. Nice views of Headwall, Siberia, Immigrant, and everything in between. Food is average quality and priced for the convenience of being where it is. TBH, I found the prices in the village to be comparable, except there you get table service and the food is hot and freshly made. YMMV.

Closed on a busy weekend...really? We came up the mountain during the NASTAR 50th anniversary championship weekend on Friday only to see a sign posted on the locked Starbucks doors saying they were "Closing Early at 1pm"....except we were there at 11:40am. Sure, it was winter weather, but the funitel (gondola lift) was running and the slopes were full of skiers from all over the country. Starbucks should make the effort to have this unique location stay open when a national event is going on.

Expensive food. I ordered Mac and chess that came with ants. Ant acid didn’t taste very good.

Understaffed shitshow, $17 chilli was cold. Would probably eat here again, who am I kidding. You win.

I’ve seen it open once. Good marketing - people are excited to see it - disappointed when they try to open the door and it’s closed on a busy Saturday or Sunday.

This is called Le Arc now! The food here gets the job done, but at what price… (A hefty one!) We knew things would be expensive but $19 for lukewarm noodles was just sad. There’s a large variety though, plenty of seating and it’s clean.

I've never paid more and gotten less. Burgers are no longer cooked fresh, they sit in a window getting stale and cold. Same with fries. Attached are pictures of $15.50 chicken tenders - so few that it is comical. Food discounts for passholders are only applied before 11:30?! What happened to this place??

Why are they almost never open? When they are open, they run out of food before noon.

The management at this place is awful. Food, parking, every is a disaster.

The bathrooms are in rough shape for a place that costs $150 to ski.

The entire down stairs is empty but it’s closed so you can’t sit there either. This place is utterly mismanaged. Don’t waste your time unless it’s sunny and you can sit outside.

Asked for the beyond bratwurst. Was told it was the beyond bratwurst. But it was real meat I'm angry but I'll be fine, eventually someone is gonna order the gluten free bun and die lol
