This is my favorite El Pollo Loco. I can eat here everyday. The service is amazing, friendly, efficient, fast, and helpful. They have always gotten my order correct in the drive-thru and inside. The staff knows the menu and will offer suggestions if you are unsure what to order. My chicken is always warm and delicious. My salads are always made correctly and my drink order is always correct. I have tried pretty much everything on the menu and it has all been delicious!

This is my favorite loca Pollo loco the food is cooked and prepared better. This restaurant is clean, including the restrooms. I appreciate the good service and the management does angood job. The cooks are friendly which is nice to know.

Food is good just very annoyed at the amount. I live in Riverside but here In Ontario for work and decided to stop at one of my favorite restaurants. I very often buy the tostadas and when I received my order , it looked way lower (less amount of food) than what I usually get. Started eating it and when I got to the beans and rice, there was my disappointment, it’s a BIG difference from my Riverside store. Showed it to the person in charge and she said, that was the correct serving….oooooook. Never coming back here!!!

I'm so upset with my purchase I just went to El Pollo Loco and ordered a tortilla soup a small one. I tried their cauliflower rice and I ordered some of their corn as well. im parked by my office about try to enjoy my soup and guess what is missing from my tortilla soup? no tortillas not one chip. I mean really I spent $10 at least and not to get one single chip! not in the soup, not on the side. it's disappointing. I really wish they would have told me that it was extra to get the tortillas for the tortilla soup I would have paid. Ruined my meal. here's a picture so you guys can enjoy

I love coming here to get my chicken bowls but I’m unfortunately going to stop because for the past 3 visits my beans in my pollo bowl are always hard. Like 25% soft beans and the other hard and hard inside and it always throws me off when eating so I throw it away. And bring back vitamin water please.

Not the same food burnt chicken . Been going here since my kids were 2 and 4years old. Mashed potatoes gravy and macaroni taste like sink water. Not even worth a coupon 20 leg and thigh. 2 sides. What happened to this place. See the menu now for the price wow.

Bad service, I tried to order food but that lady was very unrespectable, it's 6:32 at thursday on november 13. She was very unrespectable, she called me inmigrant, thats not correct. I just wanted to order food.😞

Ordered today 10/12/25 at almost 5pm. The chicken was extremely salty to the point it had to be thrown away. The salad looked old and they didn't include the gravy with our order. Will not return.

Today, I walked into this pollo loco to place a super simple order for lunch. There were 3 men taking their sweet time ordering for like 10 min. At no time did the staff open an additional register. The line was to the door. I was already not happy. Then, I get to work and find the pollo bowl 2/3 full. Not completely full. This is nonsense. It was carelessly made. I probably won't be back.

Love this place but PLASTIC in the FOOD is a horrible way to get me to shy away from a place that I visit frequently. Whether in the salsa or in the burrito itself, I'm glad I caught it. I wouldn't even think to finish it. C'mon guys please do better!

Several weeks ago, I went in one evening to get the 2 large sides of Macaroni and Cheese that were not included with the other items in my drive-through order a few months prior. The night that I did not get the items (which I did not discover until after I got home), I immediately called and spoke with a supervisor/manager, who already knew that I did not receive the 2 items. The supervisor/manager took my name, and did not say that there was a limited time frame for me to come in to get the items I did not receive. The evening I went in to get the 2 large sides of Macaroni and Cheese, I spoke with Gloria (a supervisor/manager whose name I had to ask, given that she was not wearing a name badge). Gloria immediately became combative and defensive without provocation. Despite the fact that I gave her the receipt from the order with the items I did not receive, and my name (which was taken when I called about the missing items), Gloria all but explicitly accused me of trying to rip her off for 2 large sides of Macaroni and Cheese. When Gloria went inside a room to look for my name written down, she was in there for an inordinate amount of time, and ultimately returned claiming she could not find my name. Gloria being in the room for an inordinate amount of time means that the El Pollo Loco location at 4290 E 4th St in Ontario is either seriously disorganized (and my name could have been in there, but momentarily unlocatable) or she could have found my name, but wanted to save face on how she had behaved (meaning she wanted to continue to appear justified in her behavior) and portray the appearance that she had looked for my name in earnest. Gloria tried to bargain with me in giving me only 1 large side of a Macaroni and Cheese, however I stated if that occurred I would initiate a dispute with the card issuer. Gloria had also attempted to deflect the onus onto me by stating that, since I did not have the name of the supervisor/manager I spoke with, in the future, despite the fact I had previously given my name and had the receipt, I needed to have the name of the supervisor/manager I spoke with, which was ironic, given that she, a supervisor/manager, was not even wearing a name badge, causing me to have to ask her what her name is. When I stated to Gloria that she sounded like the supervisor/manager I spoke with on the phone the evening I did not receive the items, she immediately said it was not her (without any hesitation or doubt in her mind), reacting in the manner of someone who is in denial that they did something they, in fact, did do. After claiming it was not her, Gloria looked at the receipt, and said it was not her. (I believe Gloria wanted to look at the receipt to see if there was anything on the receipt to identify her, as it is highly unlikely she would know off the top of her head whether she worked on a specific date and time that occurred a few months prior, especially since I was speaking to her on the same day of the week and time of evening as when I did not receive the items, and supervisors'/managers' schedules typically remain consistent when it comes to the days and times they work.) Gloria did ultimately give me 2 large orders of Macaroni and Cheese in exchange for my receipt, but not before going out of her way to essentially accuse me of theft. What Gloria was not made of aware of was the fact that the reason for my delay in returning to the location was the fact that I have been waiting for a while now to hear back from Jack Villalobos (Customer Experience Manager) at El Pollo Loco, Inc. in Costa Mesa (El Pollo Loco headquarters), regarding the (potentially intentionally) misleading Loco Rewards program.
