Tremendous arepas. Unexpected based on the neighborhood. This place has very good food. Also on a general note they appear to care about keeping a very good image, the menus trifolds are well done, the website is clean, the food bar is well kept and the foods all look appetizing. They do a very good job of keeping up the facilities.

The food here is to die for. I am in heaven when I eat their arepas and cachapas, especially the arepa reina pepiada with queso guayanés. SO GOOD. This is one of my favorite places in Orlando. It's not fancy, but the food is unbeatable.

I stop here 2 to 3 times a week omw home from work… Amazing Venezuelan food!! Excellent!! Great service, Clean establishment, Fresh Food.. They have the best Cachapas in town … You won’t be disappointed!!’

My in laws are Venezuelan so I’m always checking the options around home for the authentic goodness. El Pilón certainly fits the bill. The food is fresh and very tasty. Another mentioned the prices were high but hey this is the reality now. However for a five protein arepa you cannot beat the price here. Nunca. Come support this wonderful restaurant so that we continue to have excellent traditional food!

From the moment I walked in the staff was friendly and willing to help me out order! The atmosphere in the restaurant is very inviting, and the tables even have Tic-tac-toe to challenge your friends or a stranger if you are feeling daring!

Delish venezuelan arepas....if you're looking for something different or to add to your food selection( add variety to your menu) Try it, you'll like it and maybe come back for more! Recommend.

Great spot for Venezuelan food, arepas, cachapas, etc. They had live music on Friday night, the sing outside the store says Saman. Not many vegetarian options but can accommodate some menu items without meat.

Great place to practice your Spanish speaking skills, no one here speaks English and they are very nice, patient, and accommodating about it. Good arepas, tostones, fresh squeezed orange juice. Once they run out of the chicken soup (which sometimes it's early) they don't make any more. I wish they would, I've came too late over two dozen times now. They're missing out on sales. That's why I rated 4 out of 5.

If you want a real Venezuelan arepa all the way just visit this place they have a nice set up with a steam table full of choices and you can put what ever you want inside and price don't change is a really nice concept is like a Arepa Subway but with fresh hot and cold food try their potato salad you gonna love it!

The food is good and the girls are nice, but like most Venezuelan restaurants its way over priced. I don’t see any special ingredients for them to charge almost double than any other Latin restaurant. I came for lunch, had a small chicken soup with a plate of grilled chicken with rice and a salad one soft drink. Price came almost to $30

Came by around 9pm to eat. A bit of slow service preparing the arepas. On a positive note, the arepas are fresh and prepared at the moment. The business has been here for a long time, now under new name. As with everything in this 2024 economy, $23 for two beef arepas is a bit high.

Love their arepas and empanada. The problem i have is that they get the orders wrong. Twice I asked for white cheese empanada and twice they gave me chicken 😡. Uber makes a big deal about it. All I want is to returned the wrong ones and get the ones I oder.. Don't give me an evaluation and pull my receipt from the account. Like telling me to go some where else!!! Not nice. When all I want them is to get my order RIGHT!!! DRIVER GET 10 STARS

The food is 5 stars, the location is 5 stars, i am giving 3 stars because the service personnel was very disorganized. A bit of process improvement will help quite a bit. If you are visiting Orlando, and want good venezuelan food, and you have time and patience. This a GOOD place to start your degustation.

So the food truck is better. There are hidden fees. You end up paying a different price from the menu price. I kept going back always thinking, why so expensive. I finally asked the cashier who figured out she over charged me. Was disappointed that food is not that great and I have been over charged all this time.

VERY BAD. I went there last week with my family AND a friend of mine and his family (8 of us in all) and EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US (including two young children) got VERY SICK with diarrhea and throwing up shortly thereafter. Our symptoms lasted for TWO DAYS! I missed a day of work because of it and the kids missed a day of school! I called restaurant to make them aware because contaminated food is a serious issue and can be fatal! I told the lady that I am only calling to make her aware of the situation. I am not calling to fight for my money back but rather just to make them aware of what had happened! My friend on the other hand called and demanded they return his money. They said they would and to give it 48 hours. He waited the 48 hours only to see that only half of the money he spent there was refunded! I will never go there again because of how sick we all got!

Worst experience. It’s was definitely lunch hour when I came in with only one employee. There was one lady in front of and I waited patiently for my turn in line. As a third person comes in and the cashier/server finished up with the lady in front, completely ignored me and when on and help this third person behind which seems to be a frequent visitor as she had a conversation with him on the food and how he was. I don’t mind the waiting but please don’t ignore me. I am still a paying customer.

Going to this spot for years. Never going again. The servers don’t care to make things right when they are wrong. Placed an order for several arepas with different types of meats and of course with cheese and our specific likes. Trusted that our order would be done correct. Came home to eat our food and guess what ! We got the arepas all plain just meat no cheese nothing else just meat. Called they told me to drive back so they can add the cheese. Lol are you kidding me! That’s how you value my time my gas? Or a $2.00 credit per arepa.what a joke! Never going there again they don’t value customers.

To start, there were no arepas. Chocolate was expired. Empanadas were reheated and they gave us the wrong empanadas. Cachapas were raw. . Do not eat here! The food tastes terrible. Lastly, horrible service. Save yourself the trouble and your money. To the owners: take reviews seriously because you are on your way to closing your business if you don’t. No good customer service, the chicken was salty , the arepa dough was undercook. The floor and tables were dirty . No toilet paper in the bathroom. Very filthy place. It was around 7 pm , the restaurant was empty so no excuse for any of this . I won't return.

Well, I just lost my appetite. Nothing lousier than biting into what you think will be the yummy breakfast you think you're going to have, just to find out your empanada is almost damn near empty!!! I ordered a ham and cheese empanada, not a empty one, just masa..... and well let me drink my cafe con leche, well that was a disappointment as well!!! It literally tasted like dirty water. On top of it, who seems to be the manager wasn't thrilled I quietly called her a side to discuss my disappointment and gave me a crazy look!!!!! I'm sorry but we are not in Venezuela, you surely can afford to prepare the food properly here. BTW to all this is coming from a Venezuelan who knows true Venezuelan cuisine... DO NOT COME TO THIS SCAM OF A PLACE!!!!

This was my first time going back after a long time. Their arepas used to be wayyyy better. You used to get a good amount of filling for the price you paid. Now the arepas are smaller, barely any filling, and the arepa it self was hard and dry. Not worth the price. I will definitely won’t be going back.
