The restaurant is beautiful inside! Great atmosphere. Our waitress, Victoria, was an absolute angel. We really enjoyed chatting with her and she was very attentive. We got the calamari for a starter. The aoli that came with it was so good and the calamari was very light and delicious. My husband got the squid ink pasta and loved it. It definitely had a little spice to it but it was just right! I got the Bolognese and it was delicious. The plates are "normal" sized as far as the amount of food, not the "American normal" size where you eat all you can and still have plenty to take home. I ate my whole bowl of pasta and was stuffed (after a starter and dinner). We ended with the Lemon olive oil cake for desert, which Victoria had fixed up special for us (we're on our honeymoon). Definitely loved it here abs would go back!

Carla was our server at North Italia Orlando, and she was incredible. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome from start to finish. Her service was fast, professional, and always with a great attitude. She checked on us at the perfect moments and made excellent recommendations. Thanks to Carla, our experience was outstanding. We’ll definitely be back!

First time going to North Italia and my husband and I loved the atmosphere and food. We both got the Truffle Garlic Bread as an appetizer and the Vodka Rigatoni for dinner. Both delicious. While there was an issue with my plate, our server Austin was so quick to fix the mistake. He truly went above and beyond with his service and truly made our experience that much better. If you get Austin as your server, know you’re in great hands!

Atmosphere was beautiful with excellent vibes. We ordered off the Magical Dining menu and it was timed perfectly. Fresh handmade pasta and an open concept kitchen made this experience very memorable. I highly recommend the Arranchini!

Absolutely the best Italian restaurant I’ve ever tried in the States! The food is authentic, fresh, and bursting with flavor. Our server, Marcus, was incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Highly recommend this place to anyone in Orlando looking for top-notch Italian cuisine!

I went to Brunch with some of my friends on a Sunday and the restaurant wasn't too busy. Our server kept coming back to the table as we arrived to ask for drinks. The food was delicious and didn't take long to come out. I need to go back so I can try some other items on their menu. Of course, the pizza is always delicious here.

Had lunch here and it was a delight. Pros: my server Alejandro was an absolute pleasure. He was pleasant and knowledgeable. My food was hot and the spicy pasta was delicious. The margarita drink recommendation did not disappoint. It was sweet yet strong. Prices are affordable for the taste.

I have fallen deeply in love with this place. 5 star service, my waiter was very friendly and also professional. Incredible vibes and very nice decoration. Regarding the food, It was an explosion of flavor. The best one was my pesto pasta, also the bruschetta was tasty. The restaurant is a little pricey but 100% worth it. If you are in Orlando and you like pasta, this is the right place. It has a nice bar area too. It’s easy to find a free parking lot.

If you love trying new things but aren’t sure about Italian cuisine, Northern Italia is the perfect place to start! Their brunch service alone won me over. I ordered the Eggs in Purgatory with grilled ciabatta and a fresh arugula salad—absolutely stunning flavors. But beyond the food, the service was exceptional. Even as a solo diner at the bar, I was treated like a VIP. As a special treat, I couldn’t resist the butter cake. It’s a rich, decadent, and impossible to finish (though you’ll savor every bite!). If you’re lucky, ask for Alayna, she expertly guided my choices, easing my pasta-only hesitation with fantastic recommendations and top-tier hospitality. Thanks to her, I’ll definitely be back… and next time, I might even venture beyond brunch! A must-try for anyone looking for a welcoming, delicious Italian experience

Absolutely loved my experience at North Italia. I had the roasted eggplant dish and it was truly unforgettable perfectly balanced flavors, the seasoning was spot on, and every bite felt crafted with care. I would come back just for that dish alone. The truffle bread was rich, aromatic, and indulgent in the best way. The squid ink pasta was a standout deep, savory, and elegantly bold. Every forkful was luxurious and full of flavor. It was one of those dishes you remember long after the meal. The sangría? I would return a thousand times just for that refreshing, vibrant, and perfectly balanced, it brought everything together beautifully. We also took a hot honey pizza to go, and even later it was incredible sweet, spicy, crispy, and absolutely satisfying. To finish, we shared a tiramisù that was simply divine. Light, creamy, and with just the right touch of espresso it was the perfect end to a perfect meal. The service was outstanding warm, attentive, and truly impeccable from start to finish. Highly recommend this place. I can’t wait to return.

For a place so close to the touristy areas, I was thrilled we were able to walk right in on a Thursday night. The place is quite large, and the atmosphere is great. It's laid back and classy, but not in a pretentious way. It's romantic and quiet, and just a really chill place. To start, we ordered grilled bread & olive oil, along with La Dolce Vita and a Roman Holiday - and then argued over which drink was better (they were both great). We ended up having the same conversation when it came to our meals. We ordered the Spicy Rigatoni Vodka and the Lasagna Bianca, which, in the end we both agreed had the edge. Both dishes were amazing, and our server Frankie said that they are two of the best dishes on the menu. He took great care of us and checked in with us regularly to clear dishes and refill our drinks. Overall, our experience was one of the best we've had recently, and we are already hoping to come back soon!

Beautiful ambiance and aesthetic. The space is centrally located in Orlando and super easy to get to. Valet service is available if needed, which was convenient. Our server was amazing—knowledgeable, kind, and personable. He made great recommendations and made us feel really taken care of. We started with the Grilled Bread & Good Olive Oil and the Daily Soup—simple but full of flavor and made with quality ingredients. For entrees, we had the Roasted Salmon and Crushed Meatball Ragu. Both were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The salmon had crispy skin and was tender inside, and the ragu was hearty, bold, and comforting. Great experience from start to finish. I’d definitely come back.

The food was amazing, and the ambiance was spot-on. We had a delightful dinner for two, including appetizers and drinks, which cost between $200 and $250. The food was fresh and bursting with flavor. They offered a variety of seating options, including tables for two, four, and even booths.

My husband and I went for dinner yesterday. Max was our server and he was so knowledgeable with the menu. My husband had the Spicy Rigatoni Vodka and I ordered the Lasagna Bianca Al Forno. Both dishes were presented nicely and tasted even better! Max recommended the tiramisu and I almost ordered an additional one to take home! We will definitely be back!

Couldn’t recommend this place more! Went for an anniversary dinner, food service and atmosphere were all amazing! We had a reservation and were sat immediately. Definitely get the white truffle garlic bread as an appetizer it’s to die for! The spicy rigatoni is the best i’ve ever had. We also got a hot honey & prosciutto pizza, phenomenal. The seasonal butter cake was a great way to end our meal, highly recommend. Everything is made from scratch and it’s reflected in the taste. Service was great and our server was very knowledgeable about the menu. Definitely will be returning!

This is easily one of our favorite stop when visiting Orlando. We’ve been to this location on Sand Lake Road five times now, and they have never missed a beat. Since we don't have a North Italia back home, we make it a point to find one whenever we travel, and this location perfectly shows why the brand is so reliable nationwide. First off, the vibe is fantastic. It’s always lively with a great energy, especially around the bar area. They have an impressive cocktail program (the old fashioned and espresso martinis are a personal favorite) and a really extensive wine list that pairs perfectly with the menu. Speaking of the menu, the food is consistently excellent. You have to try the White Truffle Garlic Bread, it’s the best app on the menu. The fresh pasta, specifically the rigatoni, is always top-tier. What really sets this place apart for us, though, is how family-friendly they are. Despite the upscale/trendy atmosphere, the staff is incredibly patient and welcoming to our children. It’s rare to find a place with a "date night" atmosphere that handles kids with such grace, but they nail it every time. Whether you are a local or just visiting town like us, this is a "can’t miss." Highly recommended!

Up market and very slick. Everything here was well presented, from arrival through to food it was very professional, nice touch when you're paying a premium. Food was great, very tasty - with a slightly different twist on some classics, which can be a little disappointing. My example is that I ordered the lasagna but it was beef short rib lasagna with just the white sauce. The rib mean was delicious but piled on top of the lasagna. I didn't think I'd miss the ragu but I really did. The flavors that were there were fantastic don't get me wrong, but when you go safe and it turns out very different to the classic it's a little disappointing. Everything else was great and I would definitely recommend, just be sure to check if going for a classic....

Wonderful experience here! The dining room is beautiful with a nice mix of seating options, including several booths which are always a welcome find. Service was friendly, attentive, and very helpful when we asked questions about the food and drink menus. The food was just outstanding. We enjoyed the Seared Scallops and the Chicken Parm along with a couple glasses of wine and every bite was exactly what we were hoping for. Dessert was the perfect finish. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely incredible experience at North Italia on Sand Lake Road. The food was outstanding across the board — the salmon was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, the chicken was incredibly tender and seasoned just right, and the branzino was fresh, light, and beautifully prepared. Every dish exceeded expectations. But as amazing as the food was, the true star of the night was Lexi. Her service was next-level — attentive, knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely made the entire experience special. She anticipated everything before we even had to ask and brought such great energy to the table. Hands down one of the best servers we’ve ever had anywhere. Phenomenal food, exceptional service, and an overall unforgettable dining experience. We’ll absolutely be back — and we’ll be asking for Lexi every time. 👏🍝🐟

Was seated right away and service was good and friendly. Had the arugula and avocado and spicy rigatoni vodka. The salad hedges more on the lemony side. Both were fine, nothing out of the ordinary. Did the Limoncello Sbagliato... Pretty tasty. Tried a slice of the pizza too, which I believe was the Margherita. This one fell flat for me, had kind of a bland aftertaste. Overall, worth at least checking out this place to see if you like it.

My review is from my personal experience. When I first sat down, the lighting was so low I had to use my phone just to read the menu. The fake candle in the cup didn’t help at all, and it gave me a rough first impression. Credit where it’s due — Alina(sorry if I spelled her name wrong) was smooth, cordial, and genuinely personable. She carried the experience with real professionalism. The food was the highlight. My bolognese was excellent, and my date’s short rib marsala was prepared perfectly. The kitchen absolutely delivered. But the atmosphere still drags things down. Certain tables desperately need more lighting. It’s a small fix that would transform the entire first impression. Overall, I’ll give the restaurant 4 stars. This could easily be a 4.5 or even a 5 if they dial in the lighting and elevate the ambience in key areas.

The food was all very good. I had the chicken pesto with penne. The sauce was very creamy. I loved the pomegranate mule as well. The truffle garlic bread was the perfect amount of truffle in my opinion. I got the bruschetta appetizer with tomato as well. The group that I went with got the spicy rigatoni, another chicken pesto, chicken parm with alfredo and the strattopritza pasta (I forget the full name). Everyone in my party agreed the food was exceptional but we all agreed the service was slower than it should be. There were 10 tables seated and at least 3 servers that we could see but it felt like it was much busier when it wasn’t. Not to discredit the personality, they were very kind. But, I would have hoped for a little bit faster service. Overall, definitely give it a try!

We were there 2 weeks ago on a Sunday, it was very slow. We were happy because it wasn’t as noisy. Seated on the side right against the kitchen, we were forgotten. The server missed every opportunity to deliver great service. Squid ink pasta is a favorite, we asked it not be spicy. We got flat, tasteless food. Doubtful we will return and very disappointing.

The restaurant does has a nice ambiance, and appeared clean. However, the night I went, which was with a party of 12/14 people, the service was not good. There was a distinct lack of attention to our table. The food came out sporadically, and one guest's order came 30 minutes after everyone else's... the same thing happened to her when she ordered her dessert! At no time did anyone come over to our table to ask how our food was, our if we needed anything. The food was okay. Quite flavorful, but not above average. With having so much choice where to dine around the International Drive/Sand Lake/Dr. Phillips area, this is one restaurant I will not go out of my way to visit again.

Visited North Italia for the first time to celebrate a friends graduation. I was excited to try it out for the first time, but I guess my expectations were too high. I ordered the spicy vodka pasta, and it was mediocre. There was noooo flavor :( The waitress offered if I wanted it to have no spice and I agreed. It literally came back spicy. My friend got the pesto pasta and she also said it was mid. Not much flavor to both of these dishes to the point where we asked for salt and it didn’t even make it better. The service was great though! Our waitress was both attentive and friendly. I put 4 stars for atmosphere because I think it was too loud in the restaurant. We did go on a Friday night so it’s understandable but it’s a factor I wanted to mention.

North has been on my list to try for a while. I have to say I was very disappointed in the food. For apps we orders the meatballs and the bread (the menu doesn’t tell you it comes with a balsamic glaze but it was saturated so if you don’t want it make sue you mention that). We ordered spaghetti with butter and cheese pizza for the grandkids. The adults ordered lasagna, sausage and rigatoni in spicy vodka sauce, shrimp Scampi app with side salad. All do the food lacked flavor and was mediocre at best. It was a Friday night so I’m not sure why the food wasn’t good but… the sauce was excessively creamy almost inedible. The meatballs were too salty and lukewarm inside (give it’s a scratch kitchen I was expecting everything to be served hot). The bread (not pictured) was awful!! We requested time done without the glaze and it was too dry to eat. In hind sight I should have complained and had it taken off the bill as none of us ate it. (I also have a bias towards any restaurant charging for bread these days but if they do it needs to be exceptional!). The lasagna was very scarce in any “meat.” My grandson who loves. Cheese pizza said he did not enjoy the pizza at all. The salad was good and the scampi was served hot but the flavors were average. Service was average. We all left very disappointed.

Came here for our daughter’s birthday. Found hair baked in the meat balls. The pasta was over cooked and served cold. Dessert was an absolute embarrassment. The staff forgot it was my daughter’s birthday and they served slop on a plate calling it panna cotta. The head chef should take a trip over to Prato in Winter Park and take some cooking lessons. This place was an over priced Olive Garden. The only difference was it took almost 2 1/2 hours to serve us. At OG it would’ve been 45mins and they would’ve at least remembered to celebrate her birthday. Go somewhere else. Pathetic 8/23/25

⭐️ Disappointing experience, especially on my birthday We waited over 30 minutes just to be seated, which set the tone for the entire night. After that, service remained slow, and the overall experience only continued to decline. We were charged for part of a dish that never arrived, and also charged extra for a tiramisu that was supposed to be included in our order. We were told that a truffle bread would be complimentary due to the long wait for our appetizers, but that promise was never honored. The manager, AALIYAH OLMO, was rude and dismissive… She made me feel uncomfortable and questioned by claiming there were “witnesses” who said the dish had arrived at our table, which is simply not true. I would never complain about something that did arrive. Unfortunately, this was my birthday dinner and what was meant to be a special celebration turned into a very negative and stressful experience. Due to the lack of professionalism, empathy, and respect shown, we will not be returning.

Completely ruined my valentines, worst service and restaurant i’ve ever been to. Had reservation under my boyfriend’s name Andrew at 9:15, seated us 45 minutes later at 10, with no communication or assurance. Host tried seating us outside i told her i was wearing a dress it was cold gave me attitude told me its out of her control and they’re giving whatever is open like what? We already have waited almost an hour for a reservation. Ended up seating us inside with a horrible table and in the corner, a booth opened us behind us we asked our server to move. Our server also came over to us didn’t know what he was even talking about with the 3 course menu, and then said i assume you guys aren’t gonna drink? Like what? He told us no and he wouldn’t even try and ask. Ended up asking another server, manager named Brandon came over he was absolutely rude and told us no and he wasn’t gonna accommodate us in any way EVEN THOUGH it was about 10:30 so it always had been over an hour we hadn’t been seated properly or received any kindness or assurance and considering we had a reservation at 9:15 i felt we deserved at least a little more respect. That manager was the worst and rudest i’ve ever seen. We ended up leaving because of how upset i was everyone walking in was getting tables and priority like how do you make a reservation wait and act so prejudiced. Everything was closed and it completely just ruined my night. I get how busy restaurants get especially on holidays, but i don’t think i deserved that mediocre service. Worst service and restaurant i have ever been to and everyone in there needs to learn how to run a restaurant with how rude and terrible they are. $70 a person for that insane treatment. The servers, host, and managers were completely unprofessional.

My husband picked this restaurant based on the reviews, which were all very good. Everyone spoke of the warm ambiance and amazing food. Honestly, when we walked in, I thought we were at the wrong restaurant. It is not warm and the food is not amazing. The atmosphere feels more like a cafeteria. The place is very plain and has a cold feeling effect. For the prices, it was not impressive at all. Most nice Italian restaurants have table cloths and serve bread. This is not the place. I figured, no worries, as long as the food is good, I dont care. I ordered the Margherita pizza, which was very salty and greasy. The oil just dripped off of the piece I picked up. Absolutely did not taste like Margherita pizza. My husband ordered the Trottole Chicken Pesto. It came in a bowl. Just pasta in a bowl. Again, not impressive. Not good either. Just not what we expected, based on the reviews. It was very disappointing to say the least, especially since we were celebrating our 32nd anniversary. Our waiter was very nice so I have to say, the service was great. Unfortunately, this will not be a place we would visit again, nor recommend.

Update : Management reached out for a resolution and promises were not kept. Most disappointing birthday dinner I’ve ever had. Reservation at 7:00 PM, ordered by 7:15, and somehow my pasta didn’t arrive until 8:15. Gave me plenty of time to age another year and lower my expectations. The garlic truffle bread was ok, it had some sort of cream cheese without the cheese it was an odd flavorless cream. The pasta was easily the worst I’ve ever had — Olive Garden clears this place with no effort. Zero flavor. So bad I thought my taste buds clocked out for my birthday , but my friends confirmed it wasn’t just me, they agreed that it didn’t have taste. I made our waitress aware of the lackluster pasta and had to ask for salt, pepper, chili flakes, and double extra Alfredo sauce just to make the pasta edible. Even then, the sauce was watery and pooled at the bottom like soup. Basically, they handed me a half-cooked plate and said, “You got this.” Then I seasoned it myself. A sous chef came from the kitchen apologized and offered complimentary bread for the wait… which was burned, bland, and bad. I appreciate the nice gesture but it did not do much when the bread was barely edible. Came here years ago and loved it. Came back twice since — each time worse. This birthday visit was the final confirmation to not return. Oh and this photo I posted was AFTER I seasoned and added 1 cup of Alfredo sauce. If you think I’m lying, you can visibly see the extra cups in the background. The managers aren’t the issue , it’s either the cooks or the recipe, I hope the owner sees this and the owner goes themselves to see where the disconnect may be in time deliverance and food quality. Happy birthday to me 🍝 💀
