Best South Indian unlimited thali had in a while. Awesome and tasty big puri with channa masala and masala dosa that too unlimited comes along with thaali. Samosa rasam papad , veggie ,diff veg curries , curd and dessert all were awesome. Must try - filter coffee . Don’t miss it. Customer Service was awesome (Anthony great job) . One of the best authentic South Indian thaali in Orlando . Must visit
They do not have vegan mango lassi or any other vegan yogurt/milk desert. However, they do have great appetizers and main meals. They were attentive to change the sauces to vegan once I requested the main meal be the vegan one. I got Palak paneer (I used to love that dish as a teen) but as the vegan palak tofu. The appitizer fried onions were good and its sauces were good with the dinner. I noted them not having a vegan Lassi 1st because I saw another review that mentioned a vegan mango lassi. I confirmed by phone and the waiter that they sadly didn't have a vegan mango lassi.
Absolutely delicious! We ordered five menu items to split, all as vegan and 10/10 would get each one again 🤩 Our server was Anthony, he was friendly, service was quick, and our water was always filled. We will definitely come back!
The food seriously hit the spot — everything tasted insanely fresh and flavorful (the paneer rava dosa was crispy perfection and the pani puri + cutlet had me scraping the plate), but the real MVP was Anthony, our server, who made the whole meal 10x better with his funny recommendations and awesome energy. The vibe is super laid-back and welcoming 🔥Would definitely come back again
I absolutely loved this restaurant and the food was so flavorful this is the best Indian restaurant and I love that it’s completely vegan and I can choose anything on the menu. 10/10 highly recommended!!
Omgoodness this is best Indian food I've ever had. I tried the sampler platter with the appetizer and dessert. So much flavor. Perfectly portion. Fernandez was a fantastic server who took time to explain each dish. I'll definitely be back.
Good location, good food, good ambience, good stuff and authentic taste. We ordered Special Thali (unlimited refills), Paneer Tikka Kathi roll, Mango Lassi, Coffee. The roll was a little bit different than I expected, the whole wheat paratha wrap was thin and I felt it was a bit Non-Indian style. Otherwise the thali, lassi, coffee were super awesome. Friendly stuffs made the experience beautiful. Will visit again to try other things.
Delicious food! 10/10 recommended , we had the platter and we enjoyed it so much. We also had a lovely waiter, Fernandez
The thali was amazing. More than enough for two people. Service was friendly and attentive. If you’re craving thali in Orlando, this is the spot.
Great vegetarian and vegan South Indian restaurant with lots of menu choices including South Indian, north Indian, Bombay specialty dishes, and Indo-Chinese food. We tried the dosas, Mysore masala dosa and paper masala dosa. I liked the Mysore dosa better. The sambar and coconut chutney were excellent and the potatoes were cooked just right. The sevice was great and attentive. Our waiter, Anthony was excellent. Also, the atmosphere and decor are great. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to try South Indian good. Next time, I will try the Chole Batturah, which looked great, and the Bombay chat. Check them out.

We had a wonderful experience at Madras Café! The food was absolutely delicious — full of authentic South Indian flavors and served hot and fresh. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a great spot for both families and friends. A special shout-out to Anthony, who provided excellent service throughout our meal. He was attentive, polite, and made sure we had everything we needed. His friendly attitude really added to our dining experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving tasty, authentic vegetarian food and great service!
Loud and crowded spot. That tells you that food is really great here. Great location for tourists and families coming after park visits. The restaurant staff were cordial and nice. We ordered man how and hot and sour soup. They were amazing to begin with. The restaurant makes north India. Dishes really good. The Momo's were good as well.
Great Food & Amazing Service. The sever, Fernandes, didn't an amazing job helping us to navigate through the menu and making suggestions to enhance our lunch experience. The food was very tasty and the vegan menu was extensive. Definitely worth the trip from South Florida!

A well maintained, neat and fast paced restaurant which focus on a good mixture of north and south Indian cuisine. The taste of food was very good with some items being very spicy but tasty and others like Manchurian items exceeding expectations. The best part was our waiter, Mr. Anthony, who was very understanding, swift in prioritizing the customer s needs and even waited 20 mins after close for us to leave. Overall, a very good experience and will definitely recommend and come back for more yummy food.
Had a wonderful time at this Indian restaurant. The dosas, chilli garlic noodles, and papri chaat were all delicious. Our server, Fernandez, was amazing—super cool, funny, and very attentive. The great food and friendly service made our experience truly enjoyable. Highly recommend!
The Madras Cafe is an absolute gem in Orlando, and hands down the best place for authentic South Indian cuisine. The food here is simply outstanding. Everything tastes incredibly fresh and perfectly prepared: from the light, crisp dosas served with flavorful sambar and chutneys, to the fluffy idlis and the spicy rasam. This is the real deal; it truly felt like an authentic meal you'd find in south India. Beyond the incredible quality of the food, the customer service is truly amazing. The staff are attentive, genuinely kind, and clearly care about the dining experience. They were quick, professional, and very helpful with recommendations. If you are craving genuine South Indian flavors and want to be treated wonderfully, The Madras Cafe is a must-visit. Five stars without a doubt! P.S. this is a one-off business and not a chain (as I was informed)

A decent sound indian restaurant in the international Blvd area. Close to universal studios and other attractions. Food was decent but the service was exceptional. Good location and ambience. We got the vegetarian thali here for dinner. The naans are highly recommend.

The restaurant’s name suggests an authentic South Indian experience, but the reality was a major disappointment. While the dosa texture was good and the North Indian dishes (chapathi and paneer) were decent, the South Indian staples were a total letdown. The sambar and rasam lacked any depth of flavor and tasted like they were made from instant "ready-to-eat" mixes. To make matters worse, the pricing is exorbitant. Since they don't offer thalis on holidays, we ordered rice, sambar, rasam, and yogurt individually—only to be charged $8 per item. Paying that much for "miserable" tasting food feels like a total rip-off. We ended up paying over $200 for a family of 4 adults and three children. To top it off, an 18% gratuity was automatically added; given the poor food quality, I truly hope that money actually went to the hard-working waiters rather than the management. It seems the kitchen understands North Indian cooking but is totally lost when it comes to South Indian cuisine.
Was excited about thali Which is why we came No thali So We order Dahi puri it was ok no green chutney just tamarind The butter dosa we order was dry and almost empty of filling No tomato chutney just watery sambar and tasteless coconut chutney? We also had rasam no spice but it was hot and tangy My husband had beer Food came out to fifty dollars a little high We left full I was slightly dissatisfied not desi flavor or fresh But filling My husband (he is American) didn’t know the difference and thought it was great Chole batura for $20 Wow Very expensive Thumbs up $8 I don’t recall a chai but if I did it might have been $8 as much as a starter almost Would I go back no For me no
For a restaurant with the name of “madras cafe”, south Indian food was not great. Rasam was not tasty, rawa dosa was not crispy despite special request and was too salty. Monchow soup was good and so was tikki chaat.
Standard food. Good taste. Serving size is on the small side .. one timme visit. Had mysore masla dosa which was very small without much . 12$ Ram vada 8.50, nothing to write about Coffee mysore 6$ Mango lassi 5.5$ Overall bill 42.6

Paid ~$45 for filter coffee, Gobi Manchuria, and an onion dosa, and honestly, it felt overpriced. Filter coffee at $8 didn’t feel special enough to justify the price. Gobi Manchuria was okay but served in a plastic bowl—if this place considers itself fine dining, the presentation should match the pricing. Onion dosa was average; the sambar was very thin (almost rasam) and the chutney was cold. I will stick with old friend, woodlands Genuine question guys,: Is it just me, or does this place feel way too expensive for what you get? Almost like a rip-off?

We wanted to try their thali but were told the menu was changed for the holidays, we tried the following: 1. Amul butter masala dosa - The dosa was thinner than paper, the potato filling was mediocre and they offered us a dosa with no butter added at all. 2. Sev puri - although we ordered this without tamarind chutney, the sev puri was one of the worst chats we have tried so far, it was puris with mint chutney and sev, there were no other accompaniments. 3. Idli Manchurian dry - the dish was okay and was sweet, unlike the name the idli Manchurian wasn’t dry but came with some kind of gravy. I wouldn’t recommend this dish. 4. Chana batura - the batura was big and puffy, the Chana was sweet and felt that they just dumped sugar in the curry. 5. Uthappam - the uthappam was okay, it came with carrots and tasted okay.

waited over an hour and never received the food! Manager and personal even care! Not organized at all! Bad experience!
Ordered Mysore Masala Dosa and Chilli Garlic Noodles. The dosa tasted good but wasn’t hot enough, same with the noodles. I understand the restaurant was short-staffed and dine-in was closed early. However, it’s better to say no upfront than serve food with long wait times or compromised quality. We also ordered two Kathi rolls to go. Waited 30–40 minutes, which was fine since they informed us. But the rolls were very disappointing — extremely small portions, $16 each is not justified, and they were not properly stuffed. Overall, poor value for money. Quality and portion size need improvement.
