My favorite place to grab lunch throughout the week. They have delicious hibachi, sushi, soup, and appetizers. The Krab rangoons are the best I’ve ever had. They do them a little differently…almost like they toss them in tempura. Their service is also amazing. Everyone is helpful and kind! Definitely give them a try.

Quiet little place at the end of the small strip; corner unit. Upon arrival, waitress greeted me with a soup and then asked which drink I would like. This was a very lovely first for me. Sitting down and being greeted with a gift was wonderful. Oh! They also offered me a very savory roll from the chef. So tasty. I believe it had chicken and crab with white sauce. Very good! Soup was good, service was better. The food was all good. Nothing overly flavorful if I’m being transparent but that’s absolutely fine! The tuna tataki was thickly sliced without much for seasoning like other sushi spots but the fish was good. Tuna rolls were slightly undesirable, especially for $7.25 each. Still completely edible and fine! Just nothing that makes the pallet water. Overall, service was the best part of the experience. Three items ran me just under $30 before tip. I would absolutely come back to this location if I was local. My biggest gripe would be the children in the back that are very clearly sick. Not sure how many kids but at least 2 and they even walk up to new customers and seat them. Which is wonderful if they weren’t sick; but the constant coughing only 2 booths away was cause for concern. Obviously this will not be a factor everyday here. Just some sick kids the day I walked in. Nothing to worry about in the future. 5 stars- soup and tataki was great. Service was better!

The food is delicious, the boba is yummy (lychee boba on 🔝), their prices are great, their happy hour prices make me question how they can stay in business with prices so low!!! Every server I’ve ever had here has been really sweet, attentive, and great! 10/10 come eat here if you want yummy sushi, great prices, nice people. 😊

I am a big sushi fan and love to visit Sushi 99. This small restaurant has reasonable prices and the best sweat mango roll I have ever had in my life. Besides sushi and sashimi, they also do hibachi. When you dine in, they give you clear soup and a holiday roll. Their servers and chefs are extremely pleasant and always great us with a smile. Other 2 favorites Ginza, JB roll and for dessert tempura matcha ice cream, the best. If you haven't gone there, try it. I recommend it.

Sushi 99 has always been special to my partner and I. When we first met, we came here after he introduced me to his family (we’re from Pennsylvania.) We’ve came here various times since then, including a few days ago when we celebrated our engagement here! This place will always be special to us. Liam was our server a couple times, and he’s been awesome! So kind & professional, and we’re actually eating here as I’m writing this. Thank you Liam for being an awesome and memorable server! And thank you to Sushi 99 for always being a very special and sentimental place for us.

I usually don’t write reviews for Japanese or sushi spots because, honestly, most tend to blend together. But Sushi99 is a rare find — a true hidden gem that’s been part of my life for over 10 years. This place consistently serves up fresh, delicious sushi with a smile. You can really tell they prioritize quality; the fish is never fishy, always tender and sweet, which speaks volumes about their commitment to freshness. Today, we decided to try something different, and once again, we were blown away. Despite the ups and downs that many small businesses face, I really hope Sushi99 makes it through — it’s so close to home, and I feel lucky to have such a reliable spot I can visit anytime. A big shoutout to the owners for keeping their prices reasonable — unlike many others who hike prices because of rent and wages and supplies. They offer a wide range of options for every budget, from affordable a la carte sushi (as low as $2 a piece) to more elaborate rolls. It’s a true local hole-in-the-wall with amazing food and prices that won’t break the bank. If you’re looking for fresh, tasty sushi without the fancy fuss, give Sushi99 a try. It’s a hidden treasure right in your neighborhood!

My husband took me here for dinner last week. We regularly try new sushi restaurants for date night and Sushi 99 did not disappoint! We ordered a kani and seaweed salad, a couple of specialty roles, and tuna tataki. The sushi was fresh and the presentation was surprisingly beautiful for a casual sushi restaurant. It’s important that I point out that we chose to sit outside while no others happened to be seated out there, however we received the best service that we could ask for. Our server was VERY attentive and I really appreciated that. 10/10

We came on a Friday night and were seated right away. We ordered edamame and agedashi tofu for appetizers and both were fresh and delicious. We ordered 5 rolls between 3 people and left full. All of our rolls were great. Service was good, too. Will come again!

Great value for what I got, we got a massive sushi boat and an app for $60, and the service was great as well. Server was very nice and the sushi chef even brought us over an extra piece because he left it off the boat, and we didn't even notice. Very good experience.

What a little gem! Super cute inside!! The manager served us and was very polite and helpful. They gave a complimentary appetizer Happy Yum! The sushi was fresh delicious and beautiful when it came out. If you’re in Orlando around UCF this place is a must go to! Prices are great and they have happy hour sushi too!

I normally order from this restaurant through doordash. The last 2 times I ordered from here, I received a call from someone claiming to be the manager calling about my order. The person then tried to talk me into giving them access to my account. I hung up the phone and called both DD and the restaurant. The first time the young lady was apologetic and let me know they would look into it. The 2nd time the guy on the phone acted like he couldn't understand me. I dont know if their system got hacked or if there's a dasher feeding the scammed customer information. It's kind of annoying because I like their food and refuse to be bullied out of eating from there.

I ordered takeout and the service was very good, but when I got home I noticed the ginger smelled and tasted really sour/off. I get sushi all the time and it's never tasted like this. Upon further inspection I looked and saw there was what looks like white mold or something all over the ginger. I ordered a lot of fish but now I'm not sure if I want to keep eating. Also the salmon looked pretty bad and one of the other sashimis weren't even cut all the way through and were all connected.

There is an older Asian man that works here that is always being rude to me when I pick up my order. I let it go the first time when he put his hand on my phone as if I was going to take my order and return as though I never received it. But THIS TIME, enough was enough. He place my order on the table next to him and watched me as I confirmed receipt of my order in front of him ( I did NOT want his hands on my phone like last time). He rudely gestured at me to grab it while my hands were out for him to HAND ME my food. I asked him politely if he could hand it to me. He looked at me with such a disgusted look on his face that I LOST my patience. He then picked up my order and placed it on the counter next to shoulder. Feeling COMPLETELY disrespected, I called him out on his blatant racism. I told him he was a disrespectful racist. If I were an Asian woman and NOT a black woman he would have had ZERO issues handing me my food in my hands. I lost my appetite immediately. NEVERRRR WASTING MY MONEY HERE AGAIN. why the hell would I spend money at an establishment just to be mistreated. Ridiculous. Never again.

The food was very average and honestly not worth the experience. The service was extremely bad — one of the staff members was rude, unprofessional, and had a terrible attitude that completely ruined the visit and killed my appetite. I will not be repeating this experience at this place, and I do not recommend it at all due to the poor service.
