Last week was our very first time we came here. We absolutely loved it! The food was absolutely delicious, big juicy cheeseburgers with yummy batter fried onion rings! Live disc jockey playing fantastic music! A homeless Street Preacher came in and started yelling at two guys sitting at the bar. Our 5 foot 1 in tall server, a total badass, handle him like an absolute boss! We loved everything about this place and can't wait to go back! They have Philly cheese steaks, chicken wings, burgers, you name it this place rocks!

The Local is one of my favorite bars. The service is always great and Pat and his team ensure everyone is taken care of. It's a very friendly, laid back and welcoming environment with a great selection of drinks as well as a menu that goes above and beyond typical bar fare. Check out their specials and be sure to stop by when they have live music!

Reviews suggest new ownership in last year or so. Stopped in for a drink after work and ordered the seven pepper hot wings...it made me do a double take they were so good. Today, I ordered a simple Gyro sandwich for lunch and it was overflowing with meat, lettuce, onions and sauce. Both times staff was friendly and outgoing. Look out college park, this may still look and feel like a quiet hole in the wall to grab a drink but they are legitimately upping their game in the food and service areas. Good on em, will be back.

Man this place deserves a revisit if you haven't been here in a while. And the new owner is a real nice person. Down to earth and really wants to create a nice space for the community to enjoy. A lot of locals already frequent this establishment, so you might just run into an old friendly face. The food is as good as it gets and the beer is always cold. Enjoy friends.

The food menu is limited and the service was super slow but the food was good and the servers were friendly. They even do karaoke on Friday nights which was fun to watch. Cute local spot, will be back!

Ordered the whisky burger with fries. Both the burger and fries tasted good. If you find yourself here give it a try.

This was a good place, it took a while to get noticed at the bar for service. Normally I would not mention this but I was one of 6 people at the bar and it did take a while to be greeted or get a menu. Once I was, service was fairly smooth. Seemed like they are just interested in the regulars and conversation. I got a burger and a beer, no complaints. Food was decent and beer was cold.

This bar is super cool and fun. Great atmosphere, helpful staff and amazing food. I loved the burger and fries. I took off a star because parking was kind of a nightmare and there was a bug in my drink but otherwise it was a great experience.

Overpriced wings! 10 for $16! Onion rings were plentiful, but I've had better tasting cheap ones. Poor service. 1 person bartending, and waitress. To top it off, 3% surcharge to use credit card+

Never again Old hard pretzels.. burnt soggy wings and all drums like who even does that when I didn’t even ask for that just sad experience.. Quesadilla sitting in its own water , bad veggies just bland and bitter worse $50 I ever spent
