Was extremely pleased with the customer service offered by Caisey at the location on the loop in Palestine Tx. She went beyond what she had to making sure my order was understood and correct. Very pleased and will return because of this experience.
Everything was good but everytime I go to the sonic on 79 the order is messed up but called to talk to the manager she replaced the order and was very nice talking to her but the staff should pay better attention to placement of orders .
I took my grandchildren for ice cream. We decided on shakes, a float and a Sunday. All were fabulous. Service was great. It was a wonderful treat. Thanks.
I love SONIC. I get my ICE THERE. THEY HAVE THE BEST RUTE 44 DRINKS. I "ALWAYS" GET THE STRAWBERRY/CHERRY SLUSH MIXED. It has little bits of fruit in thr bottom as a surprise when finished with the drink. Which I might add, last me 3-4 hours without melting.
I go often to get my addiction, Vanilla Diet Dr. Pepper. Every single Car Hop brings a smile to my face. They're always so cheerful.
Food was super hot and fresh! Person taking order was friendly and accommodating when I asked for more condiments. Server rushed my order to my car and wished me a great day. All of this in the chilly rain!
I had ordered on the app. Today it picked the other sonic. I have never been there but it was way out of my way. The sonic on the loop took care of me. I tried to call the other store to cancel but the phone was busy. The sonic at the loop not only took care of me but paid for my meal. The I think manager (wish I knew her name) was so kind and really made my day, so shout out to the staff!
This was the best Sonic's I've had in years. We were passing through town. The tots were so fresh and fried to perfection! And the burger was put together with care. Thank you.
i normally go and get a blizzard from dairy queen but today they didn’t have soft serve. i decided to stop at sonic! my chocolate chip cookie dough blast was great! there was cookie dough in ever bite unlike dairy queen where it’s mostly just ice cream! i will definitely be ordering more blasts at sonic from now on!
The Route 44 prices at Happy Hour 2-4 and on the app. are Great!!! Diet Strawberry Limeade 🍓🍈 can't wait to get another one.

Groovy fries are very addictive. Can you have someone check the expiration date or cooler temp on the hamburger meat. It tastes spoiled sometimes when we get burgers. This is the sonic on palestine ave. I'm referring to. Other than that good food!
This location has a serious problem with carhops scanning off orders before the order is even close to being ready to come out. Everytime I come here I experience this. Currently I’m sitting in my car waiting for my online order of 2 DRINKS. I placed the order at 5:17 and it’s currently 5:32… still no drinks, other cars who got here after me are getting their orders and leaving before me. My order was scanned 10 minutes ago. Come on guys.
Was getting my car worked on next door. I haven't tried the breakfast menu, so I walked next door. Staff was very pleasant and efficient. Breakfast menu was good and filling. I had sausage 2 biscuits with cheese. Yum.
I got the $6 Smasher meal with fries. It was good. Loved the fries today.
Used my app and was able to get 2 drinks for half price and they were ready when I got there.
I want to say Amanda is a very generous Owner who has not forgotten her roots. She supports her Church and gives back to the community. Her food is good. Her staff is good. Her service is good everytime I go there. I gladly support her.
Sonic always hits the spot. Everyone can get something they enjoy. Iced tea is Best....
We don't have a sonic where we live so we had to stop. Food was delicious; unfortunately the car hop can't count change back.
Jamarcus is working hard and doing a great job! He was so polite and giving good service. The food was great too. Looking forward to the system/screens getting updated to make it easier for the employees and customers!
Fantastic. Burger was filling and Tasty. Tater tots were awesome. Would of giving 5 stars but, they only gave me 2 packets of ketchup.
I have to say the food is pretty good however the really need to give more than two ketchup with an order of fries and tater tots. That's one ketchup each person I don't know about anyone else but yea that ain't enough. Great shakes I'm addicted to their master shake peanut butter and fudge. 👍

Fries were so old and dry I couldn't chew them. It was hard as a rock and then like dust when chewing.
Great sonic. Nothing really extraordinarily different. The staff were friendly and the food was good. The only thing was they had a drive through with no pickup window. You pull up and they come out. Might as well just pull into a stall so you can pay with your card without having to wait on them to take the time to go inside then return your card. Other than that I will stop here again if I find my self in this area again wanting Sonic.
Great food. Their card readers don't work sometimes and it's a smaller lot without truck spots but you can always use the drive thru if you don't fit in a stall. Great for when you want something good for on the go.
Usually no issues at at but sometimes the order is wrong. Missing or wrong item. I dont like I have to use the app for 1/2 drinks. And when using the app if you use gift cards you can't combine the gift cards.
Most of the time, they have good fast food. Last time I went, it took 45 minutes to bring out my order. There was very few cars in the parking lot. The soda tasted like the machine needs to be cleaned.
This is one of my top lunch stops. Fresh food always, and great service.
Definitely need to get a New speaker so they can hear when you placing your Order!!! Then your not repeating yourself five times. Corporate office should help them with this?
Great location. The only negative thing I have to say is they must have changed their onion rings. They are terrible when before they were the best. I've been eating their onion rings since 1979 in a different city. They are not breaded like before. They are not the same rich brown. They are bad like Jack in the Box; funky breading and lightly fried. Do not feel like ordering them now. Now in top place for onion rings in Jucy's Hamburger.
I'm not much on fast food but sometimes you need something quick, so quick it was taste was good only, service was awesome. Their screens don't work a lot of times, and you don't know wich ones until you pull into the slot, put a damn orange cone in front of the ones that don't work properly. They actually have some good food there, but their hamburger buns suck, just a plain Ole bun, that everyone else has, get something different.
It took 15 minutes for them to get one (1) limeade prepared and to our vehicle. I've worked fast food and concessions and I don't remember it taking that long.
they keep.screwing up.our drink order. not so bad a thing right? maybe not unless your young son is diabetic!!
It sonic? You get what you would expect to get but if your in borger, check your drink before you leave, they have a habit of running out of carb or just having broke coke machines, and even tho they know it's flat, they will serve it to you anyways instead of saving time and suggesting another option. I gave up on ever ordering a root beer from them it's always bad........
This Sonic is a 50/50. Half the time you get what you order in a timely manner and the other half of the time it either sits and gets cold before they bring it out or the order is wrong or not made until you buzz in again and ask how ling until your irderbis ready because you have been sitting there for 15-20 minutes waiting. When the food is right and when it is hot it is good.
For a quick pitstop it is okay. The food isn't great, but it is cheap and fast. The tater tots disintegrated, and the fries were old and cold. Burgers were decent enough. Check your bag before leaving. They left out my grandson's whole hot dog order though it was clearly on the receipt.
Food was cold. The cheese on the burger was not melted and was laid on 2 cold patties. I even ask for fresh fries and the 2nd batch was colder than the fist one. Not sure what fresh means to the folks in Sonic. I probably will just stick to the drinks at this location.
I mean, it's Sonic. Good old American classic. Where you can get chili cheese dogs chili cheese tater tots and even chili cheese popcorn chicken. Good old comfort food with awesome blasts and slushies.
Person on radio was exceptionally rude when I asked them to hollow out or remove part of the bread on the Philly cheese sandwich I was purchasing due to my being diabetic and not needing that many extra carbs. She told the server it had been done but it had not. She purposely had the sever lie to me. Unacceptable.
They NEVER give you ketchup with fries, onion rings, or tater tots... And when you ask they have to make a special trip to go get it. I've gone without ketchup half a dozen times here from driving off without it. Stale, dried up fries at 10:30 am on Tuesday, and they have me sweet tea when I said "on-set iced tea" loudly. The burger was fine though. 🤣
Well, it hass starting become predictable... when I pull up to the drive thru speaker, it generally takes anywhere from 3-5 minutes before I am even greeted. I'm currently writing this reviews while waiting on someone to even acknowledge my presence here. If I am fortunate enough for someone to take my order before I get pissed and leave... they will most likely (as they have in the past) screw up my order. So I was finally greeted, ordered a Strawberry slush only to be told that they don't have slushes.... at SONIC... at 4:45PM (rush hour).... in June... In Texas.... I'm not an expert, but I imagine there is a much more appropriate time to clean the slushy machine rather than at your peak business hours...
Went for lunch and pulled up and pushed button and set there 15 minutes pulled out and went to another spot and set there for another 15 minutes pulled out and went through drive through I will not go back there ever the worst servers ever.
The grease must have been old because the tater tots tasted awful. I had a chili cheese dog that was cold. The only saving grace was they always have good drinks.
This trip not so good. The app was not working. The meat was over cooked and appeared that it had been cooked for a while and then almost burned to reheat, it was black & dry. Ordered it with bacon and the bacon was left off. My dog would not eat it the meat, hard and dry. Bunches of jalepenos on it. I did not order them. The lady was very nice who assisted with the order & brought me the food. She gets 5 stars!
The food is good but the service is a little slow . I ordered a number 1 add bacon and they didn't give me my bacon , no problem but when I came to return the cheese burger to get it remade I had to sit for 6 minutes before someone even came to see what I needed . I called to get their attention and the lady retook my number 1 order ( just the burger ) she was very nice and apologized for the mess up . Other wise the rest of my original order was correct .
They order us an extra drink almost 4$ and car hop was like a laZY child and would Not go take it off. My friend way to nice she went ahead and paid it. Guess there catching on to wal- mart scam every time I'm over charged 3$ to more $ are thieving from us. I'm tried of this. The president of USA teaching businesses to do like him Not a dang thang except give away our ssi,retirement to a lot of peeps who never work a job.so dang sad....
This place used to be a childhood staple in my household. Keywords "used to be". I got a burger from there about a month ago and it was so overloaded with raw onion amd mustard my mouth drew up. I should add I asked them to go easy on the mustard. That being said, the drinks have always been in point.
It's usually fairly good, but this evening the burger was cold and tater tots were soggy and greasy (yuck) - didn't finish either of them, think it'll be a while before I go back, not a good experience. (Update - got sick afterwards when I got home. Now every time I drive by there I get a queasy feeling - not going back for long time)
Went there today. My shake order was completely messed up and when we got home we realized they gave us milkshakes with Sour milk. Didn't taste good at all
Friendliness is not their top priority. When you ask for ALL of what you have ordered it's like you just took the meal from the server's plate. Food is very oily and not drained well. Best thing about them is their drinks and even then they are not always correct. Listening to their customers is not in their training.
Several times I've came here to order drinks and I would ask for extra cherries for my kid's cherry limeade and they still only add one cherry! Why am I paying extra for more cherries if youre just gonna not give them. Makes me wonder how many people delt with the same thing
I don’t know where they even get a 3.8 but every time I go there half the pull ups are out of service and the drive through is always torn up and out of service. Then you finally get to a working speaker and service is so slow to answer. No owner franchise information anywhere to call and complain so I guess they don’t care.?!?
ITo start with the positive, the service was very good, people were very nice. The food we ordered was good, but the drink was AWFUL. It was $4 for a route 44 drink and had a chemical aftertaste that was very foul. It frustrated me to pay that much and it taste badly. Not sure if the ice is unclean, the syrup was bad or something else. I am hardly ever in this area but we needed to grab something fast. I probably won't stop at this location again.
Just ate here.... Ordered the classic chicken sandwich...It was good...I ordered it minus the lettuce and tomato and added pickles...They charged me 60 CENTS! for FOUR pickles!... I believe cutting the lettuce and tomato should have covered the cost of the pickles!?!? Not going to be eating at sonic again!
Food never good any more & now they have one skinny braids i think braces that on purpose keeps a dollar or more everytime for her tip! I go everyday day im tired of this bad service & coming to car bcuz they act like they cant hear omg
Tried them many times. They specialize in cold food. If you want hot food you have to send the cold food back and ask them to make it fresh. I've hear that if you ask them to make it fresh, they might. Otherwise it's cold. It cured me of wanting to go to Sonic anymore.
I purchased an ice cream cone. It wasn't until I pulled out that I realized it was yellow and tasted HORRIBLE!! I bought one at anothe Sonic just to see what there's was like. Perfect!! And twice the size of the other one. I won't go back. If you can't get ice cream right...
We ordered A cheeseburger without tomatoes and got a cheeseburger with tomato. We made them take it back to make another one. They brought us out another one and not only did it still have tomato but the meat was as cold as the tomatoes that weren't suppose to be on it! Is it time to give up on society?
I've worked here before... They don't even wear gloves!!! They all touch your drinks and burgers without them. I've even seen one of the girls stick her finger in the drinks... So disgusting! Haven't ate there in over a year. So glad I quit
Took 30 min to get through drive through and got the order all wrong. Then they act put out when ask to correct the order. They also tried to give me someone else’s credit card and someone else’s food.
Just left this establishment. Some 15 year old kid muted us five times after ordering one combo and kept laughing and taking a pause between the order only to come back and say that half our order doesn’t exist in the menu. The menu we’re reading off and ordering where it shows those things are still there. Not worth the trouble.
Seriously such an awful Sonic. They never give condiments unless you ask for them, twice. The staff is unfriendly. The food is awful. This morning I ordered a jr. breakfast burrito and it came out the size of an egg roll with barely anything in it. I've gone to this sonic several times and each time I tell myself I won't go back but this time I'm done. Save your money people.
Been here yesterday for dinner was disappointed but hoped it was just because it was late, came back today for breakfast and it wasnt even hot, boyfriend wanted dinner so we came back and food was cold, what was supposed to be a chocolate shake was so melted it was like chocolate milk and there was lettuce inside our chocolate chip cookie blast! Not pleased!
Love sonic food, but this location really has to get their $#!+ together. Outside of happy hour drinks, never once have I been here and received exactly what I ordered or not been overcharged.
I would rate 0 stars but it wont let me, I ordered 8 drinks nothing fancy other than a tea with extra ice it came with no ice this is after waiting 15 mins to get the drinks and only 2 other cars there when I got there, ridiculous
They get our order wrong EVERY SINGLE TIME. Worst sonic I have ever been to. We have tried to give them chance after chance and it never changes. They have no idea what they are doing at this sonic. I will be driving across town to the other one from now on.
My family has always been a sonic lovers. But the past 3 time we have been there the have messed up order. Forgetting food we order a payed and plus we order wing and ordered/paid for not in the order. I don't suggest you going there either. General manager said most of them new employees. She was nice. Giving 1 star so I will be able to leave a comment. On vacation with my wife and we stopped in for a couple of treats. An Oreo Blast and an Orange Ice Cream Shake. Took over 10 minutes and had to flag down a server. "Somehow" our order for jumbled up? To me, that's about as simple as it gets. If you can't keep that order straight and out to us in a more timely manner, maybe you should close up. Pretty worthless to me. Not even any mention of knocking off any of the price for waiting. Way to go Sonic, you won't get any more of my money.
Service was slow, they lost our order, didn't even say sorry and then there was paper melted into the cheese on the chilli cheese dog we ordered. The manager on duty was not helpful and acted like it wasn't a big deal. Won't be back and wouldn't recommend, we've had problems at this particular Sonic every time we visit it.
I asked for a #2 w/mayo and it was drowned in it, no lettuce & no cheese & it had both on it so I asked for the correct burger and it still had too much mayo and lettuce but finally no cheese. The girl that took my order was so rude, she kept interrupting me & was so short, she never said hello or thank you. Very disappointed!
Absolutely horrible. Got breakfast for dinner. I guarantee this was reheated in microwave. Old stale cheese old stale eggs. Tots old hard over salted. I tried to give it a chance, but this was a waste of money. Whole family bad experience. But the good for sonic was they had no problem taking our money
I sat outside today at 8:30 am and they didn't even bother to tell me they have been out of eggs for over a week. Why open for breakfast than to serve french toast? I went to taco bell and they bought all of Walmart's tortillas you would think they could buy eggs there too. Sonic I know you're a franchise but man does better!!!
This location was always my first choice of the two sonics, when I lived here until 2014. I never had any issues that I can remember. So I'm down visiting family with my kids and I suggest this location for dinner. My dad, one kid, and I go to a stall and place our order. The lady taking our order was really rushing us to complete it and kept interrupting and cutting us off. Total came out to right at 40 dollars. Order came out in a timely manner and dad give the girl a generous tip after she read off the contents of our order. We get home and see that most everything was wrong. The jalapeño burger had no jalapeños, the chicken sandwiches were opposite the way it was supposed to be, and we paid for extra blue coconut in the ocean waters but it was left out. The carrier that was supposed to have the cheese coney had a brochure for a coney, but not an actual one. We should have checked ourselves before we left, to make sure it was all correct, but we should NOT have to. The receipt was all correct, so they just dropped the ball on the order all together, and now that I'm reading these other reviews, it looks to be a rather frequent occurrence for more and more patrons.
I tried ordering (and I quote) "your chili bowl with fritos and cheese, no onion and a sausage bowl with no onion add baja sauce" I argued for several minutes where they tried charging me for regular chili bowl adding cheese (2.99 for bowl with fritos and cheese, 3.09 for reg chili add cheese) I also got a sausage tator tot bowl instead of sausage bowl (the tot bowl has tots instead of tomatoes. I have allergies and can't eat the tots) AWFUL, could not eat any of it Tried this again. Took 3 minutes to answer the red button with only 3 cars in lot. Then another 17 minutes to get my order. Carhop (Katherine) said "did you pay with credit card" then after I said yes just handed me food and left before I could ask for straws she forgot. Also got our order wrong. Uncooked foot long, my ultimate burrito only had eggs, Baja sauce, and a square bacon chunk. No sausage, no tomatoes that I paid extra for. Also had tots that I excluded for allergy reasons.
Poor service! Got the wrong size drinks, everything was dumped in the bag and burgers were unwrapped and everything. The food taste great but would be better to enjoy my meal if I got what I asked for.
Girl that took our order was very rude and short with me. My order was a Dr Pepper that took 20 minutes to bring out then when I gave her 2 dollars she refused to give me change. I had to speak to the manager who took the girls side saying I told her to keep the change. Total lie. Never again...
Terrible horrible don't waste your money 😠 They can't get an order right to save their life! IF they get it correctly put together it will take forever for them to give it to you! And they fill the cup all the way up with ice so no matter the size drink you get you don't hardly get anything to drink! It's just ice. I always tell them light light light ice. And you will still get half a cup usually.
If I could rate no stars, I would. How about I start off with the fact that I went there today, pulled through the drive-through, waited 5 minutes, no response. So, I decided to call the store. Immediate response. I asked if someone could take my order at the drive-through, the girl on the phone told me "Well we've been on it all day, someone will help you right away". Let me tell you, no response. Waited 5 more minutes. Nothing. What's this with the "oh we've been on the microphone all day" stuff? Isn't that the job? To take orders? I have worked fast food and If I pulled this stunt, I'd have been written up or fired. So needless to say, I'm very disappointed.
Order a cherry limeade and a sweet tea. Took then 15 minutes, there were 5 more orders that came in after my and got their orders before me. I said first one in and last one out?? Which the guy says that's how it goes. Not happy with this place.
This is the slowest sonic in the United States. The carhops are all sweet, but it takes 8 minutes for them to answer the button then another 10 minutes to bring your order. Every. Single. Visit. There could be 2 cars in the lot and they will still have extremely slow response times. This place seriously needs some upper management to come in and assess the flow and why it's SO slow!! Otherwise the carhops are great and the food is decent.
I ordered a rt.44 strawberry limeade and when I received it, it had so much strawberry flavoring in it I got a mouth full of sugar. When I asked to get a new drink I was told that I need to stir my drink before drinking it. Please never go here
Went Friday 07/10/2020 got a American dog the bun was hard could not eat it Fries was cold. My granddaughter burger was soggy with way to much mustard and the girl didn’t have straws for our drinks and left to get some for us never came back. We left will never go to that sonic again. Ended up going to Whataburger and getting good food and great service.
I just wasn’t the best experience at this location.
Tots were so salty I couldn't eat it. The place my order after a few minutes push the button again and said I never got my order and she took my order and then a couple minutes after that a girl brought my order out and the burger was just warm and the tots are too salty to eat. I wasn't sure they actually got my order or was going to bring it out because it never went up on the screen and the girl who took my order talk so fast I couldn't understand some of what she said. And then a few minutes after that the same girl or another talk so fast I couldn't understand some of what she said. And then a few minutes after that a girl brought an order out and ask if I had more than one order and I said no I only had one order they finally brought it out she looked confused and went back and then glared at me as she was walking back and forth taking orders a different cars.
Supersonic burrito was extremely small. No bigger than one from McDonald’s. I ordered a medium French fry and the little carton was half full. The portions are extremely small compared to other stores. Will not be buying any thing here again. I do not recommend buying anything from this store.
Check your bags before you leave. I ordered in app and car hop fail to mention that they were out of a item. Get this! You have to call the 1-800 number on the receipt to request a refund! Technology! Update the app to show the item out of stock SONIC! I wish my son didn't like them dang mozzarella sticks!
Went in to order a couple drinks during happy hour. Placed our order and wanted, and waited, and waited. Called back in and told the order taker we had been waiting for well over ten minutes. Then a girl gets on the speaker and asked what our drinks were. Told them never mind and left. And these people think they deserve 15 dollars an hour?
Asked for honey mustard when I ordered my food none was in the bag okay no problem. I push the button to ask for some sure it will be right out literally 15 minutes waiting for honey mustard. You had less than 6 cars in your parking lot. Service is only good when they get a tip. Palestine you need to do better.
Horrible customer service. My order was wrong and when I asked for it to be fixed the runner said "well that's not what was rung up". I wanted the Honey BBQ Popcorn Chicken but instead I got plain popcorn chicken with BBQ sauce so when they "corrected" the order i was given popcorn chicken with little to no honey BBQ so essentially I was given back plain popcorn chicken. Usually its not that big of a deal to me when my order is wrong it happens but the runner had an attitude and walked off as I was still speaking.
poor Service at this location. Drove through the drive-through for a drink and the car in front of me ended up driving off without their order after waiting too long. I still had to wait close to 10 minutes for a sweet tea. After getting it, it was awful. I’m pretty sure it was pure sugar.. They were not that busy either. Maybe it was just a bad day for them or they were short handed. I’m not sure.
Had a really bad attitude when asked to fix a order and after remaking the order order still wasn’t right and attitude was worse when asked to her job
Ordered a burger meal, an all American dog, a foot long chili cheese coney, and chili cheese fries. Make it all the way home, burger has tomatoes on it that aren’t pictured on the burger, (wife has an allergy), foot long coney is nowhere to be seen. No chili cheese fries, and instead I have a sad excuse for a foot long chili cheese tots that I didn’t ask for. Should have known better than to expect even halfway decent service. Will not be returning to this garbage heap of a restaurant. Not the first time this has happened. More often than not, my order is wrong.
We waited 40 minutes for a shake, hot fudge sundae, and one hot dog that we had already paid for. After all that waiting, the staff turned the lights off on us and said they were closed, without ever giving us our food. We explained we were waiting, and they gave us cold food and the hot fudge sundae was warmer than the hotdog. Completely unacceptable and very unprofessional. This was an extremely frustrating experience.
If you come here during lunch hour their is a high possibility they won’t serve you. Me and my mom went to sonic because I wanted to try the new pickle deal and we waited 20 minutes and nothing happend
This place is very trashy. The order boards are filthy, and there aren't very many that work. The servers act like they've just lost their whole family, when the bring orders out. Some of them appear very dirty and unkempt. Whoever owns this Sonic in Jacksonville, needs to make some changes, because the management is not managing.
We waited in the stall for over 20 minutes either no service. In the end we decided to leave, along with several other cars who got tired of waiting.
