Was in town on a day it was 118 degrees out. The owner invited my dog and I in for water and a reprieve from the heat, even wrapped up the half of his bacon cheeseburger for my pup to go, which made his day :) The staff was super nice and the food looked delicious. Everything about the place is 5 stars.

Had a delicious lunch today on the patio. Service was great! My husband and I shared the Hawaiian Burger with a side Salad! The menu looked great! Would definitely recommend!

Honestly spoke, it was a great breakfast prepared properly and tasted delicious! Staff was so friendly and spreading smiles specially Olga who served us! We had Sam’s skillet and eggs Benedict 👍🏼 I would come back again for sure to try different dishes

Jimmy B’s is the place to be! I have been checking our restaurants in the downtown palm springs area and I will say this one stands out. Even got to meet the Jimmy B himself! The service was great and the food was phenomenal. The atmosphere was perfect and I loved the vibe. The live music was phenomenal. Go check it out if your in the downtown palm springs area! They even had the best kind of fries! Open breakfast, lunch, and dinner!

I just love coming out to Palm Springs they got such great restaurants and this one is definitely one of them I’ve been coming to this one for breakfast and lunch every trip I eat there at least twice on my tip everything’s freshly made and super tasty They got the best banana pecan pancakes and I also love the for breakfast either the eggs Benito or Sam’s skillet or breakfast burritos ! Everything is sooooo good and I promise you’ll thank me for recommending this spot ! It’s located in the middle of the town shopping area , lots of parking at the back for free as well. There is this sweetheart server also she is so nice Christina and every time I’m here I ask for her she has such excellent service. Place has great relaxing vibes located by the center beautiful fountain. Enjoy!

It was a very nice spot to stop and take a look around while we enjoyed a delicious pineapple mimosa. We were able to sit outside on a beautiful early March day. They had heaters on the porch to knock off the chill. We didn't eat, but it smelled and looked awesome.

Sam’s Place was walking distance to our hotel and we decided to stop in for a bite of breakfast. The staff was kind and there were no wait times to be seated and served, despite a fairly busy time of day on a weekend morning. The food was excellent! Crave-able even! Everything was perfectly in season and the toast was perfection. Sam’s has got it goin’ on! You should stop in and be delighted, like we were! It was a great way to start the day.

Great people serving here ESPECIALLY Elmer who served us. Very polite and friendly - this young man deserves triple the suggested tip amount and a raise. Hard to find people in the service industry who still care about the customer. Food was yummy. We liked the outdoors seating and being able to see beautiful sights! Definitely recommend.

Overall a great experience. The beignets were amazing, def would order those again. Huevos rancheros also a great option along with their Eggs Benedicts. Wine list is limited but the Pinot Grigio was a good option. They had live entertainment which was also a nice touch.

Fast and friendly service - food was amazing. Very relaxed feeling and food was as ordered. Our server was so friendly and so helpful in building our breakfast. Definitely recommend visiting when in Palm Springs!

Jimmy B’s Palm Springs, California We were walking around Downtown Palm Springs trying to decide where to dine. As we wandered through the Village Walk, we remembered the great experience we previously had at Jimmy B’s Palm Springs. That memory encouraged us to return, and once again the restaurant delivered another wonderful visit. Because it was extremely windy that evening, we chose to sit inside. The interior is beautifully decorated, and the bar area immediately draws your attention with its inviting design. Our server was outstanding. He was cheerful, attentive, and answered all our questions with ease. The food was delicious, and everything we ordered was cooked and seasoned perfectly. For our appetizer, we shared the roasted vegetables, which were tender, flavorful, and seasoned just right. For our main course, we both ordered the Fish and Chips. The fish was fried perfectly, light and flaky, and the sauces were delicious. Overall, we enjoyed an excellent dinner with great service, and we look forward to returning to try more items on the menu when we are back in Palm Springs.

we stopped by on the way back from arizona, we were seated ordered our food i asked for a burger and if they can put a jalapeno on top of the bun my waiter did not hesitate to say she would make that happen. They brought out the burgers. Including some fried calamaries, the food was delicious, service on point definitely recommend if you are in palm springs 👌 chef Eddy 👨‍🍳 my hats off to you for the amazing food . Even though it's a little bit pricey, the overall experience was worth it. The vibe was great, and the live singer performing 'Hotel California' (one of my all-time favorites) made it extra special. Highly recommend this place for a casual yet memorable dining experience!

The restaurant had a live musican singing during brunch, which was a first for me, and Jimmy B was there as well today working the room. He happens to be a really nice, colorful guy who is not afraid to roll up his sleeves and help out the staff. In any event, we couldn't recommend Jimmy B's highly enough. This is a must visit restaurant in the Palm Springs area!

As visitors, we got a lunch recommendation from our local barista in the morning. I was admittedly a little skeptical since I live in a foodie city. This place didn't disappoint! (Thanks, coffee friends!) The live singing was really good (great voice, nice variety of songs), but the staff was also kind about seating us away from the speakers since it was loud for my kiddo. The food was delicious. We got a mix of breakfast and lunch dishes to share. My kid liked it so much that she insisted we eat at the same place again the following day. Among other things, she ordered her first-ever salad after sampling mine because she liked it so much. The berries and syrup on the puff pastry beignets were not exactly traditional but tasted amazing. Normal breakfast fare was not greasy. Our server remembered us AND our orders from the previous day and noticed when we had forgotten to order a specific item we had enjoyed, which was next level service. The location is also in the heart of downtown, so you can people watch as visitors and locals alike stroll past the Sonny Bono fountain. 10/10 recommend. I'm still thinking about it weeks later.

Jimmy B’s never disappoints! It’s our go-to whenever we’re in Palm Springs. The food is amazing, especially the wings and branzino, plus great live music and one of our favorite brunch spots. Always such a fun time when visiting from San Diego!

This experience started out very well. We were able to pick the table we preferred and the items on the menu were enticing. I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't substitute fries for the rice that 's normally served with the entree I chose, but I ordered the fries on the side. The food was tasty and we enjoyed the meals as we watched people walking along Palm Canyon Drive. However, when the check came, my dining companion asked if we could split the check. The server agreed and told him his amount, for which he gave her cash. When it was my turn, I pulled out my phone to tap to pay and I noticed the server had already added a 20% tip. The tip buttons were for me to add MORE gratuity! While the service met our expectations, it wasn't spectacular. Had I calculated the tip myself, I probably would have added 20% (on the base amount, not including tax), but I resent that the restaurant just assumes that 20% is the starting point and I'm expected to go up from there.

Skip the apple pancakes and get the beignets instead! The beignets were light and fluffy, instead of the crispier churro texture that comes from most places when it's overcooked. Beignets are a 4.5 on a scale of 1-5. The crispy apple pancakes that they're known for were too sweet and needed a higher pancake to apple ratio. Crispy apple pancakes were a 2.5 on a 1-5 scale. California omelet was tasty. Not super amazing like I had hoped, but still very good. California Omelet was 3.75 on a 1-5 scale. I didn't like that the fruit that came with California Omelet, which was honeydew melon and canteloupe, with 4 grapes since I'm allergic to those melons, and they ran out of the gluten free muffin too. Since I can't have gluten I asked for bacon instead. They charged me a dollar for one slice of bacon, which is ridiculous. I also ordered a side of the cubed potatoes, which tasted good - 3.75 on a scale of 1-5. Overall we liked the food and will come back here when we're in town because the beignets were so good (the remarks on the beignets and crispy apple pancakes came from my husband since I couldn't eat them).

Food was good. Enjoyed the park burger and turkey burger. Known for crispy apple pancake. Caramelized apple fritter in a pan with whipped cream-delicious! Ambiance is Spartan. Get rid of screens with logo (what’s hiding behind there?) and add some planters. Also set up patio to look like your in business, even if nobody will sit out due to heat. Service in your face, here’s your check (unless you want more). We’ll be back.

I was underwhelmed with the burgers we ordered, especially for the price. They were just OK. And fries or a salad to go with the burger are an additional charge. Ouch. Our waitress was extremely friendly, as was other staff. The patio area (to include awnings and building exterior) could use a really good power wash. It's a shame because it's a great location and I've seen recommendations from people to eat at this restaurant. I'm not sure I would return.

Sam's was a decent brunch stop on my trip to Palm Springs. We sampled a few things from the menu, all of which were fine, but nothing stood out. I'd consider coming back.

Seeing a good owner buzz around and greet guests is awesome!! The traditional breakfast with eggs scrambled eggs, country potatoes, sausage, and wheat toast. Sorry, the chef isn’t that good. The eggs are overcooked and the potatoes aren’t very good. I can cook these better quite easily. The sausage was tasty but nothing inspiring (like flattened out, fried till edges are a tad crispy). Maybe it comes with 3- 1/2 pieces of toast, or maybe one piece fell off and was discarded? I asked if the bread was very good quality, waitress said yes… i disagree. It’s a cool spot, met nice people. Just a regular subpar breakfast though. Making homemade jam is so easy. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Plates were ‘hot’ food was cold.. it’s plain breakfast that Denny’s could’ve out performed. Service was slow and forgetful- (update: I was overcharged and had to call to have the amount fixed. Not sure how the tip I left went up by $15, but team member assisting was very quick and helpful with adjusting the charge)

I had the Blackened Salmon since I'm from the Pacific Northwest. This was one of the worst Salmon meals I've ever eaten. It tasted like I was eating charcoal. I would probably change the format on that one & maybe do a Honey salmon or plain seared seasoned salmon. I was just not a fan of the burnt taste in my mouth. Bummer!

I liked the outside seating area and music. Our experience with service was a challenge as it seemed they only had one server so we waited a long time to give our order. Our server was very friendly but stretched too thin. The food was average tasting and okay.

I went here for brunch on a Sunday morning. There was a 30 minute wait for a table for 1. The outdoor patio is cute, but the inside restaurant is completely lacking atmosphere. The tables are so far spread out in the overly large room it feels like a cafeteria. I ordered coffee and a classic breakfast ($14) of eggs, potatoes and toast. It was $3 extra to add 2 pieces of bacon bring the total to $17 for my classic breakfast. The toast was burnt on the edges which made the toast taste burnt. The bacon was slightly undercooked. And the potatoes didn't have much flavor, just tasted like some cut potatoes cooked in butter oil. The coffee was pretty good. But overall, not worth the price tag. Another table ordered the beignet which looked delicious. I'm guessing this is the reason to go to this restaurant. :)

I knew the server was trying to hide that because he didn’t even show me a receipt until I ask him for one after he told me if I wanted to leave a tip (what a deception) so i guess i left him a 40$ tip for some refried chicken and flat soft drinks just be warned they will scam you!! We visited 5/17 at around 10:30 am

Yesterday, my family of 3 ultimately decided to walk away and patronize another establishment due to an experience that simply did not make sense from a customer standpoint. We planned to order two appetizers (approximately $20 each) and a cocktail (around $20), bringing the total close to $40. Despite this, we were informed there would be an additional $7 sharing fee because one person was not ordering a full entrée. Given the total spend, the charge felt unnecessary and disproportionate. To be clear, the split-plate fee was listed on the menu and explained by the server. However, disclosure alone does not make a policy reasonable. Applying a sharing fee when a table is already spending a fair amount comes across as rigid and unwelcoming rather than hospitable. This policy—and the unwillingness to apply common-sense flexibility—ultimately drove us to take our business elsewhere. It’s unfortunate, as a more guest-focused approach would likely have resulted in a positive experience instead.
