Excellent customer service and the food was delicious 😋

This Del Taco in particular is by far the best I have ever been to. You can taste the difference in how your meal was prepared. Staff is super friendly, kind, and accommodating to all special requests. I come here a couple times throughout the week, so they are consistent with all of the aforementioned.

The drive thru workers are patient, happy to help, and have great personalities. Food is as good as Del Taco can be.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful especially the young man Adolfo who took our order. Everything we ordered was freshly made and correct. I will be coming back here because I love Del taco 🌮

I was first greeted by a gentleman who was very polite and gave off a friendly and positive vibe I was not expecting. By the time I was leaving I felt uplifted by my experience. The food was made fresh and was full, unlike most restaurants. 5 stars!!!

wow drove through recently as the freeway was closed, so took a side route home. The most cheerful, friendly man took my order, and the food was delish! The tacos were packed full and were just perfect. Some places give you wimpy tacos with no filling and no lettuce or cheese. These tacos were excellent!

Took a while to place order and even longer to get it but worth it, they took their time to do it right. Plus it was a crazy hour and seemingly only had 2-3 people running the whole store. They did a great job

Never had Del Taco before this, but man, it blew taco bell out of the water! The guy on the intercom and at the window was very nice. They got our food to us very quickly, and everything was fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere gets a 3/5 because I didn't go inside, but I'm sure it was at least okay. I got the carne asada cali burrito, steak was flavorful, fries were crispy, and the sauce and cheese was on point. Also, the inferno sauce was fantastic, good heat but also flavorful, not watered down tobasco sauce.

I've always been a consistent del taco patron. Today on a trip to Palmdale CA the gentleman working the drive through was super nice and didn't seem to rush us through. Being a people person truly made everything better. I wouldn't typically review a fast food place, but today I couldn't help it.

Del Taco is one of my first choices for a quick and semi-healthy (depending on what you order) meal. The line is always about 5 or 6 cars long but moves fairly quick. Lately however, it takes a lot more time to get thru. Come to find out.. it's due to lack of employees! Have patience because they're doing the best they can, with great customer service and a smile!

Great customer service SOMETIMES. A few folk who work there are nicer than others, and that comes through at register and at drive thru. Food is great, very filling for a good price. Often cycles out promotional items, but nothing ever really wild. The rewards program is a little confusing but worth it if you intend repeat visits. The area outside and around is dangerous though: many shady individuals and harder drug users frequent the area, so taking your food to go is kind of mandatory.

Went through the Drive Thru at 11 pm on a Saturday night. It took me 30 min. To receive my medium fries... As I approached the window it appeared as if they didn't care how long they took to get people their food. I was extremely upset at the wait time, however they did save some grace when they upgraded me to "large" fries.

Food was fine. In the drive thru do not ask me to bank up so that your average service time at the window goes down! How about you fold my burrito faster? Again good was to order but that chaps my hide!

The only good thing about this specific place is this one cashier. I can ACTUALLY understand what she is saying! She is such a hard worker! Very friendly too! I felt bad for her the other day when I went in because I seen that she was working both the drive thru and the register inside while her supervisor or manager just sat there doing nothing, but talking to her friends or people!! That young girl has very great customer skills and anyone would be lucky to have her working for them! Very sweet and absolutely polite... once again, she is the only person I am able to understand clearly! That young lady needs a raise and some more respect!!! The drive thru was slow. I'm not sure I'd be willing to go inside to order, this is a part of town where the clientele is not local. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place, but if you have to, go thru the drive thru.

Love del taco bummer they closed the Ave s and 25th st in palmdale this one is way to small took forever to get to the ordering station in the drive thru there's wasn't enough room for many cars that a lot of them almost hit each other to reverse and leave when I went on toco night no space for long lines in drive thru in honesty the one they closed had more room both in parking and in room for the drive thru over all food was great customer was good too just needs maybe on special night like taco night a lil more help with drive like a extra person taking orders and helping with drive thru because it's probably gonna be a lil more busy since the other one closed

I really wish they would hire more people working in here. The drive thru times are just terrible. It doesn't matter if there are only a few cars there. You will not get though there fast. The employees are always friendly. The food is decent but it just the wait time. I have tried to walk in thinking it was just the drive thru but same issue. They actually started serving people that came after me. They somehow lost my order in the busyness of it all. They were very polite and worked on my order fast after being brought to their attention and gave me a complimentary french fry. I really feel like the problem is they are understaffed.

My family got sick here a few months ago but I honestly think since it was our first time having it, our stomachs just need to adjust to the seasonings yall use! I still recommend people try it for themselves! And We’ll definitely give it a try again too, it was really good going down lol. Can’t wait to try the Birria stuff! Normally it's great and I love the Palmdale Blvd. location in Palmdale, but this time I went and ordered food for my mom and I and both orders were wrong, I didn't know till after I got home. Normally I don't check their bags because that's never happened before. Also right after they gave us our diet cokes they were going to give us a set of drinks that weren't ours. We told them we didn't order those. Please bring the Plato's back!!!

this del taco is the slowest drive thru I've ever been through. Took about 30 min to get to order. And about 10 min to give me my order. I will say that their customer service has increased since my initial review a few years ago. The tacos were great and delicious. My recommendations are to work on decreasing drive thru times an the review would be 5 stars.

Don't come here for breakfast, the cashier will not inform you of extra charges and the general manager will find any excuse he can to talk over you and not listen. I literally argued with him until he listened to my complaint and then admitted that i was correct about them being supposed to disclose extra costs in advance. Much love to the crew that made the meal here in the night on any other occasion. Avoid this place completely during daytime service.

The drive through speaker is terrible, I could have used a hearing aid and still not been able to properly communicated with the staff. My order wasn't right even after discussing it with them at the window. And it took quite a bit of time to get my food. However, the food I did get tasted fine and the portions were generous (taco stuffed to the brim) so there's that.

I mean it's Del Taco food, I love there food, but this location is supper slow, at any time of the day. Pls hire more staff, you need it. It's the closest one to me and I am here often (no shame), but I can always count on a 10-20 min wait... being 3 or 4 car down... so frustrating 😫 sitting in my car right now writing this review, it's been 20 min.... 3rd car down.. staff is great, don't get me wrong. Its the only reason for my 3 stars.

The food is pretty decent for Del Taco, and the servers are always polite. I come back here and really can't complain. It's easy access, just off the freeway, and usually has a little line, but it's worth waiting for.

Came back to Palmdale where Im from and had to get some del taco, but I was highly disappointed. The guy behind the counter completely ignored me and my girlfriend and I had to get his attention. A meal for both of us ended up being 21$. The burrito and fries were hardly filling. It was hot and fresh but nothing like I remembered. I guess the worst part was I, did all this ranting and raving about del taco to my girlfriend and the food was sub par.

Bring back the original small Taco Salad from the 80's.. I use to buy all the time. Always take good things off menu. Shouldn't do that. Fries are good

The service being so low is not due to the workers it’s actually the owners faults. For YEARS this location has been understaffed especially at night. Sitting in the drive thru for an hour just to get food that isn’t cooked all the way or wrong. I got a quesadilla and it was a tortilla, pre shredded cheese, and a glob of green sauce thrown in the quesadilla wrap/bag. Not warmed whatsoever. These workers NEED HELP!! I really wish the owners would stop being so greedy and just hire more help at night. The line is almost always to the street.

I had a hankering for some of del tacos delicious French fries and was happy to see that their line wasn't crazy long into the street. I drive up and placed my order, as follows: 3 habanero tacos, 2 large fries and a large soda pop. I get my order about 10-15 minutes later and as it got home, excited to finally enjoy my food, I noticed that they messed up my tacos. Instead of getting 3 habanero soft tacos, they have me 3 beef tacos. 😔.. other than that, the rest of my order was correct. There was a bit of a line/ busy, I think it was the lady in front of me that kept messing up or adding last minute meals while at the window to pay and that's why they messed up my order. I never really get a messed up order from herebut from here on out I need to double check before I leave their parking lot.

WORST SERVICE EVER!!!! ive come here mulitple times throughout the years and every single time they screw up mu order. the lady who does drive thru cant even speak clearly. charged us for things that werent on my order. food was still cold. this doesnt even deserve a star.

Expect to sit in the drive through for at least 10 minutes if they are not busy, up to 30 if they are busy. The staff is nice but barely speak English but the manager is rude and laughs at any complaint you may try to resolve. Literally the worst experience I've ever had. I'm here from out of town for work, virginia to be exact. Placed a mobile order for pick up. Walk up there and the takeout is closed. Walk up to the drive thru to attempt to get my order which I pre-paid and they won't even talk to me. So I go back to my hotel, call an uber, and go back to pick up my order for the lady to say someone already picked it up? How? Did they ask for ID or the card on file that was used to pay for the order? Obviously not. DO NOT GO TO THIS HORRIBLE ESTABLISHMENT. IM SURE YOU WILL THANK ME LATER BECAUSE THEYLL JUST ROB YOU.

It smelt so bad inside the restaurant, the guy at the cashier was nice and all but the cooks weren't, they were making our food without gloves and kept taking, we waited 30 minutes in the restaurant even though there was no one inside or in the drive through, they should really be inspected and the lady's making the food should be fired, disgusting!

Easily one of the worst Del taco locations as far as service goes and 75% or more of the time they get our order wrong. I used to work at Del Taco, it's not that difficult to do correctly. The people who work the drive thru never understand what you're ordering and they usually get it wrong. I have been here over 20 times the past few months since I work nearby and there's always a problem or a 30cmonute wait in the drive thru even if there are only 2 or 3 cars ahead of us. Wish there was another one close by.

In a time such as "COVID-19" drive thru worker Elvia wore the same gloves to wipe down counter, change coffee, collect money/card payment and then turns around and prepared my food! When i ask to cancel order she asked why and got offended when i told her why. She refused to give me my money back until i just sat in the drive through and waited for a good while. Snh! This service was horrible!

I'm very upset with the service I just received from them😔 There customer service was so bad the guy act like he was too busy to take my order. The deluxe chili cheddar cheese fries that I ordered came out completely cold. When we tried to return them and get them remade but we were told to come back tomorrow and talk to the manager. We brought the uneaten fries back the next morning and the manger took the fries then said there was nothing they would do about it and said we could file a complaint if we wanted to

I ordered to eat in. I sat at the booth directly in front of the cashier. The radio/music is so loud in the dining room. Order numbers aren't announced over a PA system. I didn't hear my number, and rather than getting my attention, they simply let my order get cold. It's a small dining room. Lower the music volume or have employees make sure customers hear when our numbers are called. When I mentioned that I was inside the dining room, a female employee rudely said, "I didn't take your order." Good service is virtually non-existent these days.

They are the slowest place in the world. You can get steak dinner cooked in the same time it takes them to make a taco. They yell into the speaker which is from the 80s so you just pray they get it right and hour an a half later when you finally get your order. It is unfortunately my wife's favorite so I have to put up with this every time I go. Franchise owner charges for Ranch without informing customers first. 😒 if you are charging for sauce, please be upfront about it because added charges for certain items that was not spoken to about prior makes it so it can make customers feel like their getting duped. 0.25c for a tub of ranch. I used to eat at Del Taco as a kid and loved them. I don't know what they changed but the food is horrible. Lettuce had a funny smell and after taste. No flavor in either chicken or beef burritos and there chicken taco is a chicken strip wrapped in a tortilla. Will not be going back to a place that doesn't love their food enough to make it edible.

This is the absolute worst del taco that has ever existed. Service is horrible the absolute worst the food is never as you ordered it they mess up Everytime in my order. Always missing items when taking to go. And don't even try to go through the drive thru unless you have an extra hour to waste and can speak fluent Spanish. Wait Everytime for 30 minutes and then it's not right or missing items. So annoying.

Just left this establishment and I am so disappointed. All I ordered was tacos and they managed to mess that up. The 2 fish tacos weren’t even edible. Cooked to order… yeah right! Never again. I’ve given this place too many chances. I definitely won’t be returning to this Del Taco. It’s so sad how much this particular one has went downhill. I tried to call to get this matter taken care of, but apparently, they don’t answer phones either.

Worst del taco ever. I pay for extra secret sauce and there was literally no sauce in my taco at all. I pay for this! To add I've tried this 3 times, all the same even though I'm paying double and they are not even adding sauce to the taco when it comes with it. It's frustrating that this is the only one close to me. And to add whenever I order they don't add sauce packets when I ask and they also give attitude. Not worth it, going all the way to Lancaster now because of this.

This location is absolutely terrible, I just spent 30 minutes in the drive through! I couldnt understand why everything was moving along so slowly! There was only 4 cars in front of me and no one inside ! I cannot understand why or how the drive through wouldn't move . And when asking the guy at the window he has no response . I don't know if they just hate their job. But the food wasn't great they overloaded them with ingredients. Didn't give condiments when we asked for it and straws either . I will not recommend this location and would not come back ! The cashier is super slow

Honestly, I feel like the customer service here is not good. The night shift cashier was just not on it. She literally got my order wrong. She got my drink wrong. I mentioned to her that it was a sprite not a lemonade never once did I say lemonade then on top of that, she gave me my Sprite, but the drink was flat. The soda was flat like seriously this was the worst experience I’ve had And it was just at this Del taco on the west side of Palmdale.
