Our waitress Silvia did a great job ! She had a lot of tables to serve but she was pleasant and as fast as she could go. Food was excellent as well.

Denny's is the "go to" anytime family diner. Last of it's breed on the diner chain. I have to give Denny's five stars for its longevity. For keeping up with the times, having edible food, an innovative menu with some healthy choices, a kids and seniors menu, some dishes are really outstanding for a diner, and their classic breakfast menu. Road trippers like me welcome that bright red and yellow Denny's sign after a lenghty drive along any highway. I don't know anyone who hasn't eaten at a Denny's. It a good choice late at night or early in the morning when every other restaurant is closed and you're starving. It's a neighborhood favorite if you are lucky enough to have one near your home. Plus, Denny's has decent strength flavorful coffee and good customer service. Two most important necessaties in my book when reviewing any restaurant. Most of their waitstaff are pleasant, personable and generally care about their customers. This restaurant will always remain on my favorites list. Dennys does not disappoint. It's been a loyal staple for as long as I can remember. I've been a loyal patron since the 1970s. Remember Dennys the next time you can't decide on what to eat or where to eat. Their abundant menu is sure to provide some meal option you will enjoy.

Clean place, convenient location, friendly atmosphere, staff are dressing properly and clean, outside is a construction area and the traffic can be very stressful in the lunch hour, mornings are great and is a plenty of parking spaces available. The Menu is almost the same as others Denny's, but you can always ask for a mix and match, prices are reasonable and they accept coupons. I recommend the lumber jack with country potatoes and a sourdough with cream cheese,I like to replace the pancakes for fruit.

This is a crazy story but about a year, maybe two years ago max, my family and I went to eat here on an afternoon where an armed gunman was out on Roscoe. The waitresses working that day acted quickly, courageously, and kindly as they stepped up to guide us all toward safety. We hid until the man was apprehended by the police, and honestly for a moment so out there, it showed the adaptability and awareness of the staff. I don't know their names or if they're still at this location, but they made that day better despite the initial terror. Our food has always been delicious here and prepared timely, and overall I have no complaints.

I had an order for take out at 1:30am. My server was just the right amount of friendly. When I walked thru the door, she immediately made me feel welcome as if I was a family member. I ordered the Grand slam burrito which I have never had before and it was great. They should have had that on the menu a long time ago. I think that one will be a classic menu item for years to come. I had also ordered the avocado bacon burger for a friend of mine and they said that was the best burger they've had in a very long time. She happened to have ordered hash browns instead of french fries with her meal and her hash browns were cooked perfectly they weren't too too crispy and they were definitely not soft and soggy like other Denny's restaurants like to make. The price was a little high for me but keeping up with inflation I guess it was decent. I will definitely be returning to this location because I felt at home here and I didn't have to wait long at all for my food to eat cooked.

Had a very good experiance thanks to George he wasn't my server however he refilled my coffee and noticed that I looking around because my hashbrown was kind of light and I like it well done. He took my plates and got them done, let my server Marisela know and she brought to me the way I like it. Great teamwork by both servers. Happy with service and food was quick.

Perfect place to eat some protein after working out at the 24 hour Fitness next door. Never too crowded, food doesn't take too long to get to you. Decent place.

The hosts were nice but not friendly they sometimes get our online orders wrong they need to correct that BTW when people order online please give extra condiments and utensils

I give it a 4 star because the waiter can be a little better and sometimes in my opinion I think the portion of the food is the wrong amount. But overall the food is great the music and Environment is pretty great.

A lady friend and I we're coming back from LA. It was the only place that was non fast food that was open that gave us enough time to get there, sit down, order and eat. They closed at 10 p.m. we were seated promptly and the waiter was quick to respond. We ordered steak dinners and the meal arrived in a timely manner. For me everything was prepared correctly except for the red skin potatoes we're kind of bland and cold. My lady friend also had a similar complaint with her mashed potatoes. The price was average for the meal. And at the end they kind of rushed us to leave the establishment as they were closing. Good food, and the pricing is okay I guess, but they put the waitress by herself for half the restuarant and as a result nobody really got much attention to their needs because her time was so split and she was running around like a chicken while looking like she was over-tired. The company needs to do better by its ground-level people. If you want her to smile, be a company worth smiling about. Not to mention, can single people working here even afford a tiny studio apartment in the same city while working full time hours? If the answer is no, the company should be ashamed of itself. (Upon looking it up, the workers cannot, and the company should be.)

My friend and I, came into this Dennys around 1750 (5:50 pm). We were here for nearly 15 minutes before even being acknowledged. The person cleaning tables did seat us, and gave us menus. However, CHINA, the waitress, was behind the customer area and did not approach us in any way shape or form. Her; CHINA'S excuse is the she just began her shift. After we ordered, CHINA demanded the menu back, this came as a surprise and a shock to me. Therefore, I requested a new waitress. Angie, took over and instantly there was a very plesent, and relaxing atmosphere, she even taught me how to say thank you in Thai language. I've changed my initial One Star Rating, due to CHINA'S bad attitude, to Four (4) Stars, because of Suwipa's professionalism and kindness.

Friendly service from the server. I follow a vegan diet and I opted for the veggie for fare skillet with no eggs. The server kindly swapped the eggs for toast at no extra cost and was always on hand for coffee refills. The meal itself was delicious and the hash browns were lovely. The only downside was the lack of WiFi which as tourists, is always really handy to have due to having no phone signal.

The staff here is friendly but everything else falls short. The location is very small from the actual diner to the parking! For one of the "newer" Denny's in the area this one is very worn down already. We sometimes just call to pick up the food so we can eat at home (they stop taking over the phone orders at 12am even though they are 24 hours) but even when we call the food is either not good because its either rushed or missing something :( I would suggest either going to IHOP down the street for better quality or driving further down Van Nuys to Sherman Way for a better Dennys

The woman with grey hair was in a bad mood. Bad service with her because there was another woman who also served my family and I before, and she treated us good and she seemed like she liked her job, but the one lady with grey hair was the opposite.

The food and service here has always been good, but something has to be done about the parking situation. 7/10 times I have to park in a lot that's around the corner from Denny's, because parking out front of Denny's is full of cars from mall visitors. There are signs reading PARKING FOR DENNY'S ONLY but all the mall visitors ignore it, and Denny's don't enforce it. When I spoke to the Denny's manager about this issue, he laughed and said "Yeah". Tow away companies could make a killing here.

From when my family and I arrived at the location, it took more than 10 to get a table when 90% was empty. And once at the table took more than 15 to get drinks, the rest was worse.

Food is good! Service, to be honest, on busy days, it gets very busy. Sometimes service isn't so fast! Just be patient please. ✌️💯

The wait wasn't too long, but the waiter didnt come back while we were waiting for our breakfast...i needed honey for my coffee. Had to ask the busboy to get it for me. Then he went on a break, without telling us, while we were waiting for him to bring the check!

It seemed that the location may not have been staffed enough for the number of people eating. The wait wasn't too long, but the lack of space to wait was cramped. Receiving the food took time, but I'm a patient person. Food was good as always and our server was very pleasant. We didn't see her a lot towards the end as I stated in my earlier remark regarding staffing. I recommend arriving early to this location.

Service is decent, pancakes were good, but the cook clearly has never made an omelette in his life. He literally put all the omelette stuff that is suppose to go inside the omelette on the plate, and then cooked an egg and laid it on top, which made it so it was very difficult to eat. Also after finishing my water, I realized the glass they gave me was actually very dirty and there was some kind of washer scum on the bottom. I'm giving this place 3 stars but only because of the pancakes and the nice staff.

Denny's is our go to place for celebration and special events. However it will not be at this branch again. Order had to be repeated several times, food was mediocre at best. Ambiance was outdated compared to other branches.

This is a standard Denny's nothing special about it. The booths are old and not very comfortable. The food is on par with any Denny's you know what you are getting when walk into any Denny's. The staff varies from some of the best I have seen to literally the worst I have ever seen. I go here probable once a month for some pancakes or french toast with my wife, and we leave full for a reasonable price, we just never know if the service will be good or not at all. It is not the cleanest Denny's always double check your silverware, or you might eat someones left overs.

This Denny's is pretty average. I usually go in the night time to this Denny's. It is extremely empty. There are times when there is more traffic than usual and they only have one waiter. Might take 15 min to get a cup of water. I am usually understanding when it comes to waiters but 15 min for a cup of water is a little too much. The waiters I have received are usually very nice disregarding the wait times. Food is good. Area is ok.

It is more expensive now and less food for what you pay , the manager isn't that kind or courteous, me and my daughter have a vaccinations card but my son didn't have his card with him right at the moment, I told him he is healthy he came out from a hospital recently he was checked for everything, but you know man aren't that careful carrying all this cards with them and he didn't trust me , he sat us outside and we paid a lot of money to be neglected,, they gave us a bad terrible service paying lots of money, they didn't serve us water again, neither lemonade, we felt like they treated us like if we were dogs, just put the plate of food on the table , with an indifferent mood and then walked away , after serving the dogs plate horrible feeling !!! I WILL not come back there anymore. I didn't leave a tip to be served like if you served your pets plate of food.

Food was good the serve only attended when we ordered and after she brought food never came back refill my coffee. And she did not have a lot of customers.

Horrible place, this location was run down and even the parking lot was bad. We had a polite waiter but the food didn't really taste like the other denny's restaurants I've been to.

They have a Crain game to win stuffed animals, which is impossible to win on. Fine, but the game says you can pay the difference and buy the stuffed animal if you can't win it.And when I tried to do that, they said they couldn't sell them like that. So, to me, it's like they're false advertising!!!

By far the worse Dennys I've been to and I've been to atleast 100 Dennys in Southern California. The 3 egg omelet is a joke 😆 1 egg from my fridge is 3 of theres, wait I mean 4 of theres. 😆 🤣 😂 😹 They had this ridiculously loud music at 530am while we ate a horrible breakfast and the company next door "homeless" lady was having a breakdown. I couldn't believe they let in. What kind of establishment is this. Avoid this Denny. BEWARE!

To night I decided to take my family to a family dinner and we went to the Denny’s nearby this one is on van nuys and chase st , i just want to share with you guys that the service is amazing but the food was cold and terrible , i ordered eggs with ham and some kind of sauce(sauce was unmelted like other restaurants)plus instead hash browns i swap to veggies so the veggies half were warm and half were very cold, i ordered a chicken soup that was cold too, my daughter ordered chocolate pancakes that were burnt and dry , the hash brown were uncooked and burnt at the top, we mozzarella sticks and the cheese was unmelted , i had never experienced this type of mistake, it was busy? I can say it was not that busy i had to return everything to get it warn at least, service was amazing the guy was so nice that i felt bad because i was asking him to warm my food up many times , how was atmosphere ? Well they close half of the restaurant for nite time i guess its only at nite - but i felt like we were and i small reduced type of family restaurant not like a regular Denny’s, i don’t recommend this place at all- i hope this review helps this location to get better cause service was amazing like i said just need to get a better food standards and open the entire restaurant to not get that claustrophobic feeling…

Place packed and they lack servers, we waited 20 minutes until someone actually came and asked to take our order, before that we tried to place an order with one waiter passing by and she said she is on a break and can't take an order, minutes later she was serving others and just avoided us, we like Denny's every were we go, the old lady served us was very helpful And for her I gave the 2 stars, as losing 3 stars , one for waiting too long till we managed to make an order, one for waiter on break didn't try to help and one for the stake we ordered was microwaved and not really bbq. Other orders were good and taste exactly like expected .

You can do better Denny's. The gravy on my chicken was separated and had little lumps of unwhisked mix in it. Vegetables were mush. My friend ordered an omelet and paid for extra cheese but if that's "extra," I'd hate to see what regular is. The waiter was polite but the kitchen was a letdown. I mean, it is what it is.

Ordered to go. When i was given my order i was missing a burger and a side. They went back and brought me a cold burger with hard looking cheese from who knows where. I had them remake a new one. Reminded them i was still missing a side. Finally get my order didn't really recheck. Big mistake. No bacon in my avocado bacon burger. Ordered 4 orders of pancakes and they were burnt. They really dropped the ball. Its always something with this location. Wont be back.

Terrible service here the manager gave attitude. I was parking to go eat here i get down and hes in the parking saying you can't park here or i call the cops if your going to the fair. Worst experience, first of all it was empty only like 4 familys and after 20min of getting sit down , noone attended us ! We didnt even get drinks! Noone acknowledged us and once we got fed up and left , as soon as we got out the door and about to get to the car the server was just picking up our menus off the table like nothing happen ! I've ate here many many times before and the servers were somewhat decent. I recently went there and ordered to go and the first waitress to help me spoke to me in Spanish. I politely told her I don't speak Spanish and she had the nerve to roll her eyes, sighed loudly, walked away, and sent another person to help me. I see the first waitress standing behind the counter talking amongst other servers gesturing towards me and they all looked at me and I couldn't help but feel she was talking bad about me. When she finally brought my food she swung it towards me and didn't even thank me. She walked away so quickly without even a glance back. Checked my order and realized a whole meal was missing. When I went back she was helping another customer (black guy) who she was speaking English to. So when I approached her, she immediately switched to Spanish. I again told her I don't speak Spanish and she said why not? Ummmmm I already speak my own language (Tongan) and English. Man I'll tell you.... I will never go back again. IHOP is across the street and worth waiting. They're more busier for a reason.

Bad customer service. The door said they close at 10pm as of 11/30/21. I was their at 9:30 pm but this lady came outside saying that they were closed and it wasn’t 10pm yet. Since it’s not the employees restaurant they don’t care if it sales food. They are the typical employees that are lazy because the chef probably told the lady to tell me that they were closed because they did not want to work and serve me even though it wasn’t 10pm yet. I will take my service somewhere else.

Not like any Denny’s I’ve ever been to in my live. It’s called Denny’s and sells their food but, it’s run as “a version” of Denny’s not authentic. Don’t go here if you’ve never been. You’ll feel disrespected. Only time I’ve been to dennys and asked to get up out of my seat in my life.

The mildew smell in the bathroom. Sink was stopped up and one out of 2 toilets was broken. The Mgr never smile, he doesn't say hello. I've been in there numerous times, but always to go. The food was ok. I wonder what the kitchen looks like. Don't want to think about that! I love Dennys in Northridge. Whomever is the Franchise Owner of Denny's Panorama City, Ca. needs to clean this resturant and fix things or close this place 🤔. Shame on you.

Every time i call to place an order the phone is off the hook. Nd when they do answer they place me on hold for more than 20 mins. This is Unacceptable. I am pregnant and they had their security rush out of the restroom because I've been there too long and I had told them I'm not feeling good I'm pregnant. When I came out of the restroom there was no security but two female waitresses but the waitress in the front counter she had a greenish strike on her front hairline, she had a laughing smile the other waitress who rolled her eyes at me it seem that they have thought I was a homeless person. And I only came to use the restroom because my bathroom in my apartment is out of service right now at my landlord said that the water pipe from upstairs is clogged so they had to turn off my water so the water will blow up stairs. Some BS.

I ordered the steak and eggs Sunnyside up and the hash browns. The steak was dry, extremely salty and when I told them to tell the cook, they did nothing. The hash browns were undercooked as well. I told them again on the pay station and they didn't care. DO NOT GO HERE .

Bad service. Waitresses have no patience for customers. Our food took so long to get to us and then my brother disnt get his food and then we were told the order wasnt in for his food. The cook spend there time fighting and chit chatting in the kitchen instead of actually cooking.

I ordered on March 27 and my hash brown were burned and I called asked for a refund because I live 20 minutes away and this isn’t the first time they messed up my food! I never got my refund and the older man in charge was rude and had an attitude problem!!!!

We went here today. My mother had test done at hospital so we decided on Dennys because we had to go back to kaiser in 3 hours. We came from Palmdale. The 1st thing is the second we walked in noticed the smell of sewage we should have walked out right then it was an awful smell an they say they were replacing a pipe in the restroom. I had them seat us far from the restroom. Lady comes takes our drink order. Mom wanted ice tea and was told they no longer serve this. We ask for 2 diet cokes she left came back and said they have no diet coke. My mom is diabetic so I got her a water bottle from car. We ordered our food and my mom said please pit a rush on the pancakes because she needed to eat asap the lady said I won't ask the cook to rush anything for you or anybody. We get our food and the bisquits and gravy mom ordered were ice cold like they came out of a fridge. They rewarded them for her but she still didn't like them so did not eat them. We ask for to go containers and my mom ask if she had a smaller one and she said if I had a smaller one I would've brought it to you. Very Rude poor service and trying to eat with the smell of poop was awful. Please close this place until you fix pipes and hire and train new people. Worse Dennys experiance ever.

When dining in they seat you and have you wait without coming to take your order. They expect you to know that you are supposed to order inside and pay for it. When asked for certain items that can normally be substituted, they up charged me instead of swapping out the items. They just added on to my orders. The staff is not very good at speaking English so they aren’t good at explaining things or helping at all. Table was sticky. And they also came out to take the orders of other people before me and I still had to go inside to place my order. Also the food was cold upon arrival. Making it very dissatisfying.

Well. I order my food. And I ask for a glasé of water. And I waited for it to come to my table. And neither the water came or the food came. So 45 minutes past and then the waitress came and said to me. " I am so sorry I forgot to order your food " and I am like REALLY!!!! So I just had to leave, it was so humiliated that all the people where staring at me for what had happened. One thing for sure I am not going back to that place.

good is the first time I give a negative comment of this place today 11/30/2017 at 10:30 pm I went to buy a banana split because I like how they prepare there but today the manager came out so rude first told me I waited 10 minutes then he arrives and he tells me that two bananas and I tell him that I wanted costum made and then he said that we arrived at a bad moment, I do not know what I mean, I'm a customer. that make you feel good and take your order with tranquility not even let me tell you how he wanted them and left then he got upset that I told him how he wanted them and he left screaming wow he said someone had been missing but it's not my fault because he treated me like that I had to treat myself like that

I never give review’s out but my experience here was terrible. Don’t come here unless you want to be racially profiled, the lady at the front who sat us down asked me and my family if we were going to pay because supposedly we had came in the night before and left without paying ….. The lady with the gray hair was forcing us to tip her because she said it was MANDATORY when she couldn’t even give good customer service. A lot of missing orders and when we ordered the veggie omelette WITH fruits, she said that it was just a picture. Embarrassing. Don’t eat here, food is too greasy anyways.

Ordered on Postmates a grand slam. Not delivers fault but whoever assembled the food. Didn’t receive any pancakes. Maybe have couple of consideration of a wake up call and pay attention. I also received the stuff for the pancakes with no pancakes. Thanks Ola A.

She kept insisting aggressively, I understand that it could get busy as i work fast food waiter as well but making the customers feel comfortable in the restaurant should be a priority. They don’t want to take orders. Does the owner even know. I called at 12:42am to place an order and the lady that answered said they were closed. It seems the workers are lazy.

There was this one employee with short white hair and she was very rude,ruined my experience and now hate this location because of her.No offence but she should really learn to give less attitude to customers.

Register was down or the system, their was no sigh that said it was down .. manager had us ZELLE him, not just me but also a lot of the costumers

There are two employees that lack customer service skills. Walked in with my family and they looked at us up & down and began to laugh and snicker, they continued with this rude behavior while we sat until my mother and I made direct eye contact with them. I would strongly encourage for management to take action and train these 2 employees on how to treat their customers. Attached a picture of the rude employees. I would like to add that the employee Christian was very kind his customer service skills was the reason we chose to still dine here after dealing with the 2 rude employees. Thank you, Christian, for being so kind and attentive to your customers.

I went to this place ordered over the phone and asked to dine in. When I got there the food was placed to go and it was fine. So I paid and asked if I can dine in, I waited 20 min and no customer service. I waved at the lady that was serving and she ignored me 2 times until I got up and asked for a coffee and she gave me an ugly attitude telling me- I thought you wanted to go! Well I guess they dnt like to give costumer service so I left. And to make matter worse they got my order all confused but I accept mistakes what I do not tolerate is being treated like an animal.
