Really great chicken fried steak! Love their pancakes 🥞 similar to crepes! Good eggs 🥚 and hashbrowns! The interior of the restaurant is quaint but has reached the "time to update" or, in general, a deep cleaning and some new paint may be in order. I recommend this restaurant 👌 😍

Wonderful staff that are probably some of the most pleasant that I have encountered in years at a restaurant. The food was terrific, the prices reasonable, and the ambiance was cozy. It's a little small inside for big parties, but they make due well! Will definitely eat here again!

This is a great lil diner with absolutely delicious food! I'm so happy to have e discovered it today thanks to a friend. You want great home cooked style food, then this is your place!

Very good breakfast place in Paradise! I have yet to eat lunch here, but the breakfast country potatoes are delicious and the know how to cook an over medium egg! Happy to have a great local breakfast go to place.

Had a tasty BLT and tomato soup. Good comfort food, nice sized portions and a very friendly server. Welcoming environment even to a stranger.

Debbie's has the best biscuits and gravy on the ridge, in the whole county, honestly! The atmosphere is more than welcoming for both someone eating alone or a family. There hasn't been any dislikes with any item ordered. The only improvement I would suggest, would be to have coffee and/or drink delivered faster once someone is seated. I understand how busy it gets but it seemed that it took a long time getting our drinks once we got seated at our table.

Debbie's is the best diner in town. No one can beat their pancakes! I have tried a good portion of their menu by now and their French fries are amazing as with everything else I have tried. They have the kindest most relaxed servers it always feels so inviting.

Beat place to get breakfast, brunch or lunch in Paradise. It's still original from before the fires. Definitely try the flat pancakes if you're new to this spot.

New twist on us for the gravy, but it was good, had bacon and sausage in it. 9-15-22 The place was good as always. Service was great and fast. The food was delicious. Had the Philly cheese steak sandwich with a side salad this visit. 1-23-25 - Food was average, but good. Had a county fried steak sandwich, and I had to get gravy on the side for it because it only came with mayo. Hubby got the county fried steak breakfast burrito, and it was good. The service was great, and the atmosphere was comfortable.

Great diner!!! We had a great breakfast! The employees were very nice and brought super good hot coffee. I ordered a lite breakfast 2 egg omelet with added jalapeños and home fries. Everything was fantastic. The home fries were probably the best I’ve ever had! We also ordered blueberry cakes and it was amazing!! Definitely a must have. I will be back next time I’m in the area!

I had the chicken fried steak from the lighter side portion of the menu. It was still a lot of food.The country potatoes have cheese on top. Just when you thought country potatoes were perfect... they add chedder cheese! :) Instead of the toast , I got a pancake. It was thin like a crepe with crispy edges. So delicious! The coffee was great, Served in cute coffee cups that are miss matched. A perfect place to have a wonderful meal.

They have great pancakes. Super thin, and crispy around the edges, and the sausage is very good as well. It's a great place to have breakfast. I recommend Debbie's Farmhouse Breakfast with sausage. Usually a little bit of a wait, but it's worth it. Friendly staff as well.

Our first visit has resulted in many subsequent returns...today bringing my brother-in-law for his first visit while down for his birthday. The biscuits and gravy had him leaving with a broad satisfied smile.

I love Debbie's! I always bring my out-of-town guests here for the amazing "crispy-edge pancakes". Food is delicious, the service is awesome, friendly and attentive waitstaff. Very homey atmosphere. Great place all around.

First time in Magalia ca. We stopped by Debbie’s restaurant for breakfast and the food was delicious and lots of it. Get there early for it gets really busy around 9 am. Loved the waitress who was very friendly and helpful. Next time my wife and I will stop for breakfast or lunch.

First time trying out this nice little place. The food was delicious, and they had these cute half booths. Their blueberry pancake was filling. It doesn't look like much because it's thin, but it's hearty!. Overall would go back again to try the lunch items.

I had come here most of my childhood with my grandparents, I remembered the pancakes being very thin, big and delicious. Went back about a month ago and the pancakes are still killer. It's a nice small town Cafe vibe, slower service, but good food with good prices. Will continue to go back throughout the year.

I love this little place. CLEAN, friendly and the thinnest lacy blue-berry pancakes ever. They dont have REAL maple syrup so i take a little cup of my own. I love having breakfast at Debbie's. The owner and her people are terrific!

Good food and good atmosphere friendly nice people working hard to get everything done the way you like. I was there Friday morning and Saturday morning for breakfast while visiting with my uncle. They were very busy both days, even though they were busy we were happy with the service eggs were just the way I liked food was good, coffee was tasty and hot. Next time I visit, Debbie's for breakfast anyone?

They were very slow with getting us menus and taking our order. They were not busy at the time wecwere there. Food was good but the portions on their Pastrami Sandwich was very little. Staff was nice once they got to you.

Friendly and excellent customer service. The flat pancakes were delicious. Traditional breakfast with a homemade flavor.

Sausage was deep fried not grilled or on a griddle.. Hash browns very greasy and heavy. Toast and eggs cooked to order. Good staff and ambience but won't be back for breakfast. I'll possibly try lunch sometime for a positive rating.

It was an unpleasant experience, from the time we ordered to the time the food showed up...35 min!!! We see the waitress only when she brought the food by and the time she gave us the ticket per our request meaning we have to go to the cashier to ask to go box and our ticket. Thats the bad stuff, now the good stuff was the food are great! Thats why i gave this establishment 2 star for the food. Good luck!

My family and I have always loved Debbie's restaurant but I have to say that today I was very disappointed. We have only just started eating in restaurants again and have been pleased at how restaurants are handling keeping everyone safe but Debbie's was very disappointing and today when I brought my family to eat at Debbie's we almost walked out. None of the wait staff or any other employees except for the cook were wearing masks. I asked an employee about this and was to that another facility had a health inspection and the employees weren't wearing masks and the inspector didn't say anything about it so the employees at Debbie's weren't going to wear them either. I asked our waitress if she had been vaccinated and she kindly stated no. I have to say it will be a long time before I will be eating there again.

We originally were going to go to the cozy diner down the road but the electricity went out and we walked in. So a local had told us about this place called Debbie's. We were able to beat the crowd coming up from the cozy diner and immediately sat down. The service was hit or miss I understand it's a mom and pop place but the food took forever. And it did not all come at once One person got their food and then we had to wait for the next. I felt like the quality of food was not good for the price. I had American craft singles on my omelet. The potatoes were lacking any kind of seasoning. The amount of time we had to wait was not worth the trip.

You know its not going to work out when you have to stir your coffee with a straw. First and last time for this place. Young waitress so rude. It does not matter how great people SAY food is here if service is bad. It ruins the taste in your mouth. Plus waited almost 20 minutes for a seat but no one else in line and tables open. Big fat zero for tip. For coffee and straw.

Waitress told my toddler that he can have a pancake if he finishes all his food and everytime he asked after she finished she completely ignored him. On top of this the applesauce was forgotten along with my sister’s bacon for her burger. Both of which were still charged on the receipt. Makes me not want to go again.

Ever since the fire, the taste has taken a huge dive. Maybe the old cook moved, but it’s a bit below average. Blueberry’s have no sweetness, the pancakes texture is off, the gravy for the biscuits has changed too. Very sad.I don’t know how taught them how to make French toast but just dipping bread in scrambled egg with nothing else is a weird choice.

Food was ok, nothing to write home about. Service was terrible. Waitress with long braid was too busy talking with a group of regular men customers at the counter to care. Wasn't very friendly when she did take our order and never came back to check on us. Our food sat waiting to be delivered until the other waitress finally saw it and brought it to us. When I asked for a to go box I was told after spending a good amount of money that those are only for to go orders. I asked if I could have one for what I have left to go home and was kinda rudely told by waitress with braid again that they are too expensive and was given a small paper plate and small piece of foil for gravy etc. What?? Really?? Would have spilt all over the car. After spending approximately $20 per person for breakfast that doesn't seem right. Was my first time here and probably my last. Will go to cozy diner, or hilltop or somewhere else instead. They are friendly and act like they care. Sorry Debbie. . . Need better employees!
