Opinions de Casa del Mare Italian Paris
This place has some pretty good Italian food and nice staff. I had the ribeye and it was awesome!!
This is the greatest Italian Food. I try to order a different meal each time we go and so far, every item I have eaten has been excellent! We eat there at least once or twice a week. The desserts are unmatched as well. Must try the Italian Sausage Appetizers. Great service and people. Love it!
The food was extremely good. The waitress on the other hand was horrible. Not 1 time did she come to the table to check to see how we were doing or see if we needed anything. We asked another waitress for some help and she gladly did it. I know from having grown up and working in restaurants in my younger years that you have to pay attention to ALL your costumers no matter how busy you are.
Decided to go here because it had decent ratings and looked good. Glad we did! Fortunately it was pretty dead on a Saturday night and we were seated right away. The bread rolls were very tasty and semi-soft. Definitely request marinara to go with them for dipping. For an appetizer we ordered stuffed mushrooms. This was the only miss of the night. The sauce they came in was delicious, but the lobster was fishy and definitely tasted like it wasn't very fresh. For her main course my fiancee ordered the spaghetti with the works, which had mushrooms, Italian sausage, meatballs and meat sauce. She enjoyed the flavors greatly and the meatball was seasoned very well. I ordered the chicken alfredo pizza and it was very tender chicken, with a great tang to the sauce accompanied by a plentiful amount of fresh mozzarella cheese. I would recommend. For dessert, she had a lemon marscapone cake, while I had the tiramisu. Both were top shelf and rival anything you find at four star Italian restaurants. All in all I'd recommend for anyone visiting the Paris area. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town.
the best place to eat in ardmore imho! OGB to dip bread in is PHENOMENAL!! my favorite is the chicken genovese!! i try to get something different everytime i go and i have loved every dish !! they deserve more than 5 stars !!! they treat you like family and they are so accommodating for my autistic son!! an absolute MUST try 🔥💕
The food was very good and the staff was pleasant and helpful. In the end, the price was good for the quality and portion of the meals.
Took my family here while we were in town visiting family. Great place to eat at. Spaghetti and meatballs were excellent. Stuffed mushrooms were also great. Good chicken in the Alfredo. I have two kids the oldest is 10 month and likes to feed himself which can be a mess. The girls on the staff cleaned it up. Be sure to tip them well they're great people
Highly recommend!! The hostess and the waitress was excellent wi to great customer service. Has the cheese ravioli's with Alfredo and they were excellent. Perfect portion size. Two co-workers had the lasagna and other one had the lobster and ravioli. Both said their dish was excellent.
Over a year ago, my wife and I visited for our first time at lunch and we were very disppointed with the service, as well as the food. Tonight, we decided to give it another shot. And man am I glad we did. The service was great. Our waitress, Kylie, was very attentive and courteous. And when the meal arrived, it was top notch. Great flavors form the fresh ingredients was over the top. So very happy that we came back. Keep up the great work.
We know all the waitresses but name. We have ordered about everything on the menu and haven’t had a bad experience yet. Enzo will always take the time to ask how we are doing. Highly recommended
My favorite pepperoni pizza in town (and out) Everything is good. Also try Chef's Favorite, chicken alfredo pizza, or pasta sampler.
Our first time and a great meal! The kids got fettuccine alfredo and a small pizza. The serving sizes were very generous and super tasty. As soon as we sat down, we were greeted with some warm buttered garlic bread. I had the lunch special of chicken parmigiana, again great tasting!
Great affordable place to eat. This isn’t a high end restaurant. It’s great variety of Italian dishes at budget friendly prices. Service has been excellent and food always comes out piping hot.
Traveling through on vacation and stopped for lunch. Lunch dishes are mostly around 10-13 dollars. That includes an excellent spaghetti with either a meat sauce or meatballs. The sampler was excellent. The lunch options were very generous. The bread tastes homemade and is excellent.
Wonderful food! Been there twice, always go a little early for dinner, to beat the crowds. Cheese ravioli, manicotti, chicken fettuccini alfredo, chicken florentine, salads (many dressing choices), great all you can eat bread, all excellent. Highly recommend. Great food!
Food and service were amazing. It is more of a family like atmosphere than a romantic date night place, but that was great for us because we went as a family.
This place was a recommendation from the hotel we were staying. We figured since it was walking distance from the hotel, let's have Italian! The service was great. Our server was just the sweetest. I asked her about the dessert menu and what she recommends. The limoncello cake was so good. The frosting was light and the flavor overall was not overly lemony! Hubby had the lobster ravioli which was good. I ordered off the kids menu as we had a late lunch that day. It was more than enough. The lasagna was filling and cheesy!
We did an early supper around 5, and there were only a few people dining. The waitress was very attentive. I trusted her recommendation, and it was amazing. It's very fairly priced, and you will have leftovers!
it's a family tradition (my grandmother and I) to go to this place everytime I visit. everytime we get the lasagna. it is, in my opinion, the best thing on the menu. today (July 27), I tried the sweet tea. it is amazing, but incredibly sweet. but I love sweetness. it's never too busy and you can usually have leftovers. The only bad thing about it is that the waiters rarely come and check on you to see how the food is, or if you need a refill, etc. overall, love this place.
The food was great give you more than enough for one person
We went there to celebrate a birthday. It wasn't too busy for a late Saturday afternoon. We had a party of 10. The service was great. The food was delicious and came out fairly quick. All and all a good experience.
We ask for Talisha every time! She is the perfect balance of professional and personable- attentive with out hovering, knowledgeable about the menu, and anticipates our needs before we even ask! Food and atmosphere are also fantastic!
I've eaten here many times. Always delicious!
Quiet, spacious, attentive service, but most importantly, excellent, delicious food at noticeably low prices. What a gem! Do not miss Casa Del Mar!! So many interesting dishes. All professionally prepared. Thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my visit. Give them a chance. You'll be back.
We were traveling through Paris, TX and we asked the hotel at check in for a dinner recommendation and they recommended Casa Del Mare Italian Restaurant. Everything from our cheese pizza, spaghetti and meat sauce and the pasta sampler were delicious and some of the best Italian food we have had in awhile.
I thought luigis was good.......this place is way better!! Rolls were better, Alfredo was way better, and my canzone was superb! And my waitress/hostess needs a raise! She was rocking it out!
Great Italian food with amazing service i highly recommend!!
I ordered the chicken parm and it was delicious. The portion size was big enough that I wasn't able to finish and I usually eat a lot.
Family favorite! Great Italian food with a wide variety of options. Love their ribeye steak dishes, always delicious. Wonderful staff and fantastic service.
Our first time eating there tonight and OMG!!! The food is unbelievably good! The rolls they bring out right away are super hard to eat just one of, but if you think THEY are fabulous, wait for the main course! We have definitely found our new 'fav' restaurant. Ask for Katherine if you decide to try this jewel of a place. She is one of the best waitresses my husband and I have ever had! 5 stars straight across the board!
The food was delicious. My waitress was very attentive and polite. I would recommend it. 👌
Best Italian food I've ever had.
This was the BEST Italian food I've had in a LONG time. We ordered stuffed mushrooms which was stuffed with seafood. Then we had shrimp and scallop Alfredo. The sauce was decadent and the shrimp and scallops were cooked to perfection. Definitely will be a regular customer to this fantastic place.
Waitress was awesome! Great service great food. Celebrated my father in laws birthday with the whole family here.
Went in for an Italian plate, but ended up enjoying a fresh pizza. Good food! 🍕
Omgoodness the service is equally amazing as the food!!!! My favorite dish is the Salmon with rice and mixed veggies amazing so delicious!!!
First time eating here. Madison was our waitress. She was friendly and took very good care of us. She checked on us and made sure we all had plenty to drink and that we were happy with our food. Food was absolutely amazing. Will definitely eat there again when we are back in town. Would highly recommend.
The food was amazing, the service was great too. Will definitely come back
Just eat here. Food was Fresh hot. I got the ribeye surfaces and turf & veggies wife got shrimp muscles scallops calamari pasta garlic white wine sauce. Steak wax fantastic perfect medium rare with a mushroom brown gravy so good 👍 wife's pasta was tasty. Great tasting food in a similarly average looking restaurant. Sever was 👍.
I got today's special which was a Salman dish on a bed of rice with veggies and it was amazing...Great place to eat !
We had the Roma special (salmon) and the New Dardan Special. Both were well prepared, filling and very delicious. Was hooked on Capizzi's before I accidentally found this gem. Best Italian in Paris and this is coming from a New Yorker...
I wanted to leave a great review for both the food & service. I came in a few nights ago for dinner for myself and some to-go dinners for my crew. The food was fabulous, and the staff took really good care of me, even while a huge group came in. Love this place!
We were coming through town from Celina to get my daughter‘s permit in Clarksville! After getting her permit, I asked her where she wanted to eat and she said Italian so we just searched Italian near me and came across this place. It was absolutely amazing! We liked our meals so much we decided to get takeout for the rest of the family to bring home. We cannot wait to come back again soon!!
Love this place!!! I try something different often and haven't found anything I don't like. The staff is wonderful, service is great!
We’ve eaten at Casa Del Mare multiple times and they never disappoint. The food is consistently great, the service is fast, and the staff is always polite. This is our go-to spot for Italian food. Highly recommended!
The server was absolutely amazing, Didn't mind the mess my brother in law made and helped us roast him the food was a ten the service was a ten, it made for a great end to my wedding day☺️☺️
We had a really wonderful little waitress. I asked her what she recommended, she suggested the Chef's Special which we Salmon and Shrimp over Rice with Veges. It was a brown wild rice with mushrooms, squash, broccoli, and peppers. The salmon and shrimp had a teriyaki like glaze. OMG, THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! My husband had the Chicken Picatta. It was also very good. We tried the Brochetta as an appetizer. When it was brought to us, we wondered if she had brought us the wrong thing (there was melted cheese on top) but once we bit into it, we knew it was just a different version versus what we were used to but is was absolutely amazing also. We also had a Cesar Salad. The dressing was very good. The serving sizes of our main courses were big enough that we weren't able to finish our plates. Here's to this little Italian restaurant... we were impressed!
This was our 1st time here! Our waitress was great and suggested the Italian Special, it did not disappoint! The hubby had Chicken Florentine that was awesome too! And we have plenty leftover for dinner, as the portions are plentiful. The atmosphere was great, the service was too as well as the food!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The food is really good and the service as well. We had the special (lunch portion) of salmon, shrimp, veggies and rice, lasagna and chicken parmigiana. Meals come with rolls and most with salad. The house salad dressing is a tomato based and really good. There is a lunch menu, but it is only for Tuesday-Friday (they are closed on Monday) and the lunches are reasonably priced. Evening and weekend meals are more exspensive. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly, but because it is very open and was crowded it was loud and hard to have a conversation.
The waitstaff are usually teens, which speaks for itself, however the food is always amazing. We drive almost 50 miles regularly to come back here after we moved. Wish they kept the cappuccino cheesecake on hand though! So good!
My wife and I enjoy having Italian food here. She normally has the chicken parm and I try to pick from a variety. Food is good for a small town restaurant. Our waitress was great but the receipt doesn't have her name. Give it a try!
Food was pretty decent. For having a $20 plate on the menu, you would think you wouldn't have a jeans and t- shirt staff. Waitresses were more worried about getting their fair share of what I'm guessing is "free food" than attending to their tables... so much so, that the bus boy was seating tables and bringing the bread to tables
I ain’t a professional food taster like some of these other folks are trying to be. But I took my wife for dinner. We both liked the food. We got full the servers were polite. Everything was clean. I loved how quiet it was. I’ll go back FO SHO LOL
This place is well kept and has good service. Wish they would have asked if we wanted straws, because we didn't want to cause any more waste. The Chef Salad was absolutely delicious: one of the best salads I have ever had, but a bit overpriced. Their bathroom was clean. They had an interesting Italian/Texan ambiance with the interior design and music choices. It was just too loud to enjoy a conversation on Sunday afternoon.
Great food here! Nice atmosphere. Decent prices. Will definitely be going back again soon. If you haven't tried this place I recommend you do. We were promptly seat by a smiling waitress and more food than we could eat. Satisfied customer!
Casa Del Mare never fails to to delight me with their delicious menu, wonderful staff, and cozy atmosphere. I am partial to their "Pasta Sampler" and my boyfriend simply devours their grilled chicken salad. I highly recommend Casa Del Mare Italian restaurant to everyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine at a great price.
The 16oz ribeye was cooked perfectly!
Service 3/5 Quality of Food 3/5 Price 5/5 Value 5/5 The menu has one of the best selections I’ve seen from any Italian restaurant. I got the chicken Calabrese, my wife got the Chicken fettuccine Alfredo, kids got Fettuccine Alfredo, my wife and I got breaded chicken with ours. Paid like 45 bucks total for 3 big entrees. Not bad at all. Generous portions, came with salad and bread. Had some leftovers for the next day. Great prices compared to the amount of food we were given. My only two complaints: The food was a bit bland, not inedible and still decent, but It was like the Alfredo sauce was missing something. We picked up food to go, the hostess who brought us our food seemed like she didn’t wanna be there, and was annoyed when I asked a question. Overall, I would come back.
I had the Shrimp Scampi with Linguine. It was all cooked amazingly. The atmosphere and service were fantastic. My only complaint was the bread. It was cold and chewy. It should be fresh, warm and covered when brought and served. Also the house salad was delicious. I will definitely be back.
Food was over portioned to warrant charging very high prices for the food. I understand the prices have gone up but for 6 small minimally stuffed mushrooms swimming in a really good creamy marinara sauce you would have to pay $10.99. That's an appetizer. Then then main dishes start at $12.99 and up. Do you think a fancy smansy restaurant? Uh....no. The restaurant is very casual. The wait staff wear matching shirts with jeans. I worked at Braums in the 1990s and we dressed mor formal. Anyway, the food is good just save up for it if you're like 90% or Americans these days. Peace and joy to all.
Good food and atmosphere. The lights are low and with the dark wood and decor could see this as a neat local date night for basic, casual Italian. We went for lunch and the host and waitress were both very pleasant and attentive. Our meal started with 5 garlic rolls seen in most Italian places, soft and fresh. My hubby ordered a house salad, which was definitely the better option. My Caesar salad was drenched in dressing that had a heavy hand of grated parmesan and had little to none of the expected anchovy zing normally found in that dressing. The Pasta Sampler had a smooth marinara that was on the light side from others I have tried. The spinach ravioli was good, the lasagna had a lot of meat, but barely any ricotta, and the manicotti had an ultra light ricotta filling, not the denser texture expected. The Brinkley Special had thin pounded and sliced grilled chicken and sauteed veggies. It was the healthier option and tasted as such. Not bad at all, just not the flavor punch of heartier Italian dishes. If you are trying to be good, it's a decent choice. I would go back again for lunch as the prices were reasonable and service was quick.
Some of us loved it others just liked. Bread and oil was great, primavera was awesome. Service was great to start with then towards the end our waitress must have been distracted or overly busy but overall she was sweet and attentive.
The portions were ample. We all had leftovers. The food was ok. Forget the meal I had, but I thought the chicken was dry. Veggies were very good. The service was excellent. Very attentive with a great personality. We will try again.
Vast menu though the some dishes were dated. For some of us, our salads were tastier than our main dishes. My little nephew looked around and commented all the patrons are elder people, which explained why my pasta dish was bland. The service was good. My mom's soup was extremely salty according to her. They did offer to remake her soup to go, but mom declined, probably for the best.
Tried this place out since it's close to my hotel. The portions were a bit small for an Italian place but at least the food was good. I'm not a complainer unless the situation warrants, but the service sucked. The only time I saw my server was when he was bringing food to the table.. He didn't bother to check on me at all during my meal. He passed my table no less than 5 times and not once did he ask if I needed anything or how my food was. I finished my meal and sat there for 15 minutes before I saw him again. I had to grab him to get the check. 4/10 would eat here again based solely on service. Not a good 1st impression at all
My family really loves the Ardmore location. With the Paris Texas location, we have visited twice, and each time, there is always an issue. 1st time, the Waitress over charged our ticket. The 2nd visit, (yesterday) I thought it was odd that the young Waitress would give us burned rolls. The tops were litterly black. I mentioned it, and she didn't say anything... And, the menu online doesn't match the menu in the restaurant. I'm sure we will visit again, but, it will probably be the Ardmore location. Those guys are really friendly, and the service is really good.
Late afternoon lunch and we decided on Italian before a long drive home. The food was good. Wife had chicken parmesian, she said it was good but had a unique sauce. I had grilled chicken on pasta with olive oil and veggies. It was good and not heavy. Restaurant and restrooms were clean, was a doorknob missing on stall in men's restroom. Reminded me several small town Italian restaurants I have eaten at when on the road. Service was quick but not very friendly. Seemed to be in a hurry or didn't really want to be there. If we were in town and looking for Italian we would go again.
3.5 Stars for this visit. The noodles on our dishes can only be described as soggy. Which pulled away from the overall texture and taste of the dish. The chicken didn’t have any flavor in the Paris dish. One of our dishes was not out in when our full order went and we had to wait for it after our other dishes were delivered. They have a large dining space, with thematic music playing. Service was questionable, she took our order and besides delivering our food never came to check on us.
This place came recommended. We made a reservation for 8:45 the night before Tour de Paris. We were met by a hostess who was less than courteous. She took us to a table and literally 10 mins passed and no one came to bring water or anything. My husband finally went to ask someone. The waitress finally came and was very apologetic and sweet. Unfortunately, the food was not what we expected based on the reviews. The bread tasted like something I could buy in the frozen foods section of the grocery. And the eggplant Parmesan was soggy and more breading than eggplant. I would check out other restaurants in the area unless you are out of options. This place is open til 10 pm which was one reason we chose it. I think the staff was just ready to go home before we arrived. That’s the impression we got.
i went to eat here and got sat instantly but then waited more than 15 minutes ( i had to ask someone for a waitress ) for a waitress to come and take our drink order and we went ahead and ordered because who knows how long we would've waited other wise then she brought us our drinks and then food i also had told her at the time of ordering i needed to order a sandwich to go then when she finally comes back to check on us after both drinks were empty she had completely forgotten our togo sandwich so we spend an extra 20 minutes waiting on our sandwich to be made
We had the worst experience since we have been eating at Casa Del Mare. Order was wrong. Arrived 11:30am finally received order 12:45pm I asked for a toss salad (side salad) $5.99 and was brought a Casa salad with chicken (entree) $12.99 When I told the waitress she said they won't change it on our ticket. My husband goes to pay and tells the cashier we didn't order the large salad. Her reply was "Did she eat the chicken?" Uh no!! Seriously The food itself is good. We've even had great service in the past. It's is LOUD in there can't have a quiet meal over conversation. I will think long about going back.
I like the veggies and rice with their Salmon, BUT I wish they would sell Wild Caught Sockeye Salmon instead of red dyed farm raised Atlantic Salmon, especially for the $20+ pricing. This was my fav dish in town, but unfortunately, I value my health over my pleasure sensors, now. I'd pay more for the actual Wild Sockeye Salmon that is better for you.
I was waiting for 15 minutes until she she got our order plus I ask her for a Bread with no butter because I’m allergic to milk she said no we don’t make Them for today, but they bring them to somebody elseI don’t know how they serve a customer with telling him we are not baking anymore. I have very bad experience today with this restaurant.
Calamari was salty and tough. The spaghetti and meat ball taste exactly like spaghetti O’s
I had problems with my phone when trying to make an order to go. I had tried several times. It was not completing my call. I restarted my phone and called again. When they answered, they took my order and told me it would be ready in 30 minutes. When arrived 30 minutes later, they told me that they had not prepared my order because they thought I was "pranking them," due to having several unsuccessful calls. They had no answer when I asked them why they hadn't brought that up when I was able to talk to them. They could have told me about their concern or asked for payment on the order. They did nothing. They need not worry about me EVER ordering from them again.
Place used to be me and my wife's favorite spot. Lately food seems off and greasy. Also used to get canolli cream for a buck since my wife only eats the cream. Guy charges 6.99 for a small cup of cream now. Wife sick after ate alfredo. Better off at dominoes
Went to this establishment expecting a fresh and delicious Italian dinner. Unfortunately, my salad’s lettuce was wilted and the food overall was just subpar. The service was good but when I learned that they make the servers “tip out” the cooks (who earn above minimum wage hourly) I knew I could no longer support this establishment. They have horrible business practices. Forcing servers to give away their tips is illegal especially when the servers earn 2.30$ per hour. Do not come here!
Today November 12 2023 four of us went there for lunch. The waitress was Great the food was Great. My sister wanted a to go container and our waitress was busy with a table of 12 so I just ask the sour face hostess when she came by if we could get one. She nodded her head. Well we waited and waited so I went up to the cashier and ask her while hostess with her sour face leaned on the counter. The cashier got me one.
Honestly the worst calamari I’ve ever had. Might as well have been cardboard. Very disappointed after seeing some good reviews online. Also had the tortellini alla panna with breaded chicken. The pasta and the sauce was good, but the chicken was insanely dry. Had high hopes for this place based off previous reviews.
Ordered 3 pizza's to go.. Had them read the order back to me.. Picked them up and order was completely wrong.. Called back, person that answered reapeated the order back the way it was originally ordered then preceded to ask me three more times what I ordered.. By this time it was getting annoying.. Said she was putting the manager on but that didn't happen.. Did end up getting a gift card for a portion of the the original bill after asking for some sort of compensation.. Pizza was OK and the gesture was appreciated, but I won't be back!
I came out here for work and came here for dinner. I had the mozzarella sticks, a chicken and pasta dish, and the tiramisu. The chicken was mushy, the artichokes and pasta were way over done, the tiramisu was frozen. The food kind of smelled like heated up cat food. I took one bite just in case it tasted better than it smelled/looked and negative. The staff didn't come to check on us most of them were sitting off to the side just hanging out. When I went to pay they asked how everything was and I said not good. No apology no other feedback requested. I paid and left. Definitely would not recommend this place.
