Hello everyone. Just a quick note to say that at our recent visit to the beautiful city of Paris we were treated to wonderful food and hospitality. The pizza we had was second to none and the ravioli with Parma ham with figs was extra ordinary. The staff are first class from reception to leaving. Well done La Perla. Brilliant 🇺🇦🇮🇪☘️
Had my birthday there and it was great! Staffs are very friendly and kind. Everything tasted authentic Italian and restaurant is clean and cute looking. If you like Italian food in Paris try this one!
The food was the best that I have ever had in Paris. It was absolutely delicious and amazing. We went twice in a row for dinner. The servers were fantastic, but the food was perfect. I absolutely recommend this place.
Esther was absolutely amazing, so friendly and accommodating, literally went above and beyond. Food was fantastic, great value for money. Would highly recommend
Very friendly service. The waiters sang as they served food, and the lady showing us the tables complimented my outfit❤️ Everyone seemed to enjoy their work. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. The drinks were generous. The tables were cramped and very close to other guests, but that added to the atmosphere. A very good restaurant🍕
Outstanding service and food ❤️. Got interested from walking past the huge Aeperol sprits at the outdoor table, and the happy hour. Waiter was very attentive to our table from start to finish. Best seafood linguine ever had. Will go back again 😘 Bellisomo
Very cute atmosphere, amazing pizza and the cappucino was immaculate. I walked past initially but the waitress called Soumia gave me such a big smile I ended up walking back here! She also ended up offering to take a picture, very nice people and would definitely come back here.
best meal of our trip to Paris. food was excellent, drinks were great and service excellent. we will go back next time in paris
We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The pasta was absolutely delicious, the wine perfectly matched our meal, and the whole atmosphere was warm and inviting. A special thank you to Soumia, who took excellent care of us – she was friendly, attentive, and made our evening even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!
Very nice place. Excellent food. Friendly and competent staff. Good choice of bewerages.
So personal, wonderful service and wonderful food, perfected our night ziko soumaiya were wonderful people!
Really nice staff, good prices and delicious food!
Loved the food and also the ambience. Server Esther was great. We customized the pasta, pizza to our liking as we are vegetarians. Use Google translate to make sure you are communicating the order correctly. We will visit again. Highly recommended.
Walked by and the ambiance looked great. Sat down at it totally lived up to expectations! Nutella hot chocolate was delicious! And the gnocchi with basil pesto was fantastic. We were served by Ziko, who was attentive and helpful, even brought us a pizza platter to hold the large entree plate when it wouldn’t fit on our table. Great restaurant!
The waitor Marco has been very friendly to my tourist friends! Their pizzas are great, but the best was definitely the carbonara. Very rich taste and the texture was impressive. We started off with two pizzas and one carbonara, We ended up adding extra salmon pizza and carbonara. Definitely coming back !
Thank you for your answer. I didn't leave a comment before but I'm doing it now. It was a pleasure to enjoy dinner at your place and I can't wait to taste the delicious Italian food cooked by you on my next trip to Paris. Would I recommend this restaurant? Definitely, for anyone who loves Italian cooking and a pleasant environment. I will give it 10/10 points 🤝
Tired of walking around in Opéra area we decided to just sit at La Perla. We ordered smoked salmon pizza and some pasta (forgot the name) but boy oh boy - the pasta was finger lickin' good and the pizza with smoked salmon and cream cheese was the best I've ever had. If you are around on this street then I would highly recommend this place.
I must highlight the deliciousness of the food .. I enjoyed my pasta arrabbiata so much and also the tagliatelle with salmon was so yummy !! The restaurant is in a busy place .. the tables were so close to each others but it was cosy .. the atmosphere is very nice and the prices are normal to paris .. I highly recommend it!!
Amazing food. I was very surprised with everything we've ordered. Highly recommended!
We had a wonderful experience at La Perla! The hostess Soumia gave us a very warm welcome and made us feel comfortable right away. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent, only remark I would make is the music playing in the background is a little distracting but that comes down to a very personal preference because I prefer a calm environment when dining.
We had a wonderful evening here, the food was wonderful and the wait staff were even better! They were extremely kind and fantastic all night long
Our absolute favorite restaurant in Paris. The pizza (especially the goat cheese, honey and hazelnut) and mushroom risotto, were amazing. The drinks were perfect and the bartender was charming and so funny with our teenagers. The waitstaff was wonderful and so sweet! Our teenagers were in love with Clemon!
Very delicious food and people here are very friendly ! Good service Good food Good vibes ! I live here~ expect to come here again next trip!
The host at the front is friendly and inviting. The restaurant is vibrant by all definition from style to food. The staff would make sure we were taken care of and our needs were met. It was as if they could read minds before you even think of asking for help. I ordered the grilled swordfish and the octopus salad. The chef is so talented, I ask no questions and will eat anything hes willing to cook up. The swordfish was cooked perfectly (not dry or undercooked) and so were the veggies and the food portions were plenty. But I was curious and ordered the octopus salad and that came out tender and the salad fresh and crisped. I would come back as often as my visits allow me. It was a pleasure to have a meal here. Photos won't post ATM but I'll update once google allows me :(
The service was absolutely exceptional. The waiters are very attentive and friendly especially Carl who gave good food recommendations. The food itself came quickly and it was flavourful. As for the portion sizes they were good for the price. The bartender is very welcoming and makes refreshing and mouthwatering drinks. Definitely recommend if you are in the area and I will for sure be visiting again :)
This place is AMAZING! Love the food (I had the Gnocchetti pesto and stracciatella and friend had the Scaloppina alla palermintana). Both were incredible. So good I ordered it again. The hostess was so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is great for quiet time inside or people watching outside. Overall, a true hit!
A nice restaurant but at a very busy place. we decided to eat "early" (about 7pm) so we skipped most of the crowed. friendly staff and a large menu to choose from. our choice. -eggplant rolls with cheese in tomato/basil sauce -pizza pollo -creme "brulee" with pistacho crust advice if you want to enjoy your meal in peace ,start early 😁
Delicious pasta and great service. This place also has a good atmosphere, we really enjoyed our meal here. The pizza looked so good it was difficult to choose what to eat as we wanted both! English menu available. We had the carbonara & spaghetti with meatballs. The bread on the side was lovely. Definitely recommend if your in the area :)
Esther was amazing. Great table and the best service and the best food. And Esther was the best with out son. The chef made the best diavola pizza I’ve ever had
Brilliant restaurant. Pizza is amazing, and my wife swears it's the best lasagne she's ever eaten. Relaxed atmosphere, great for families. Staff are brilliant as is the location. Our most recent visit was my 4th. I always go when I'm in Paris.
Superb restaurant. Really friendly staff. English speaking, English menu and other languages available online. Estelle had great knowledge of the menu, especially when dealing with gluten free options. They offer gluten free pasta and other options, including desserts! Absolutely brilliant. Would love to come again!
Highly recommend this place! Good affordable quality food! Funny waiter (ziko, you legend!) Worth the money! We went back a 2nd time
We grabbed drinks and shared a pizza here last night! The drinks were wonderful and the pizza was yummy, but the best thing was the service! Soumia welcomed us with such a positive energy and was an incredible host the entire night. The servers were fantastic as well. Thank you so much! 😊
Excellent. Loved the atmosphere. We are from Chicago, so good Italian food is easy for us to get back home. We came to La Perla by recommendation and after learning there are so many Italians in Paris. Honestly the whole menu looked great so I had a hard time deciding, so we decided to split the lasagna and a pizza. It was perfect. Pizza was definitely my favorite. We added pepperoni to the quattro formaggi and it was superb. Will have to try the pasta dishes next time.
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, especially the Italian dishes, and the cocktails were really good too. The service was excellent I was warmly welcomed by Natacha, who was so kind, attentive, and always smiling she made my visit even more enjoyable I definitely recommend this place
Imagine visiting a random restaurant on the street without reading any previous reviews and then food just wowes you!! This was exactly mine and my family experience today. Totally worth every penny paid for the food and time spent there. When we entered the restaurant was filled with few tables occupied and in 30min it almost all tables taken. Food was served quickly and delicious it was. And ambiance was good although not a typical Parisian but definitely something different. If I visit Paris again, I wouldn’t mind visiting them again!!
Family vacation with friends, kids decided they want Italian in Paris… So we found this busy highly rated place, where the location is busy with lots of walkers. We sat out side and our server was excellent, we all thought the portion would be small due to the Parisian theory 🤷♂️, but we were so wrong. It looked like our party ordered the most outta all of the table, lol! But the food was really good that we were able to finished most of it! We had rice balls and calamari as appetizers, then everyone had different dishes.. All the dishes were great! Our Pinot noir was light and wasn’t as good as ones we get in the States, and the mango margarita was good too!
I always go to la perla when I’m searching for a restaurant in a nice location that has a lot of varieties. Everything on the menu is delicious and has a unique taste and what really stands out is the pizza dough. Service was amazing, the staff was very friendly I would definitely recommend it
La Perla serves top-quality food fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The highlight of our visit was the warm and welcoming service from Soumayya. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Her energy and care really added to the experience. Highly recommend!
Our go to place in Paris. This is one of the best Italian I have had. The special Tiramisu is so yummmm. Their pizza tartufo is also the best. I love their pastas as well - tartufo ravioli, ala siciliana.. Have been coming here for the last 5 years, whenever I visit Paris and the food has always been consistently yummy. So glad to have found La Perla. Their hostess Estel is a sweetheart too.
Amazing place. Thank you so much. We were there for my wife’s 50th birthday and ALL the staff were amazing and made it such a special evening. So kind and thoughtful. Beautiful food too and lovely drinks. Thank you especially to the lovely Italian waiter who was wonderful. Thank you. X
Fui buscando pasta gluten free. He comido con salsa boloñesa y estaba exquisito.
The restaurant is like a usual French restaurant small and tight spaces. It is a crowded restaurant with lots of people having their dinner there. On the food: it is really good and yummy. Especially the seafood linguine, the seafood is a lot and so is the linguine. If you don't eat much, you can share it. The octopus linguine is also very good. So is the grilled vegetables. Is definitely a good place to re-visit again.
This is a great place to have a quick break or chill. The prices are reasonable, and the drinks are good, although the iced coffee is not what I expected. It’s located near Westfield. One improvement I suggest is that the staff handling customer seats be more mindful of the outside seating. I noticed that a lady was begging for money, and it seemed like the staff didn’t care that customers were being disturbed.
La Perla is a really good Italian restaurant with an excellent quality/price ratio. I’ve been there several times and it never disappoints — the food is consistently delicious and well-prepared. The waiters are usually very welcoming, which makes the experience even more enjoyable, and the atmosphere is pleasant and inviting. I especially recommend trying their drinks, as the portions are generous and every one I’ve had has been just as tasty as the meals. A great spot for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine at fair prices.
Cozy restaurant with absolutely delicious italian food and friendly staff. I had the goat cheese salad and the carne pizza, the portions were big enough and perfectly cooked and plated.
Very nice location (bar street anyway but close to Les Halles), helpful crew w an eye for not being eager, nice food (veal w citron, lasagna, burrata as starter) that all worked out perfect. Food is very good but not outstanding. Quick service in all respect (change of cutlery after the starter w/o asking, not usual here). Recommended!
Very decent food and tasty however the prices are sky high compared to the competition.
The food was good. I enjoy my pasta al dente. Unfortunately, the pasta I had was mushy. I've heard heard of poor wait service in Paris. I've gone to many restaurants in Paris and hadn't experienced it until I ate at La Perla. Our waiter was not friendly, he would ignore us and was offended when he brought out the wrong dish, and I sent it back. I did see other waiters at the establishment, and they seemed way friendlier.
La Perla restaurant italien smile reviews: After a tiring day, I want to find a delicious and affordable Italian restaurant and don’t need to take for a long time! La Perla restaurant italien is close to église Saint-Eustache , The Pasta has a crispy texture and an attractive aroma , Burrata E Tartufo is good, the dessert Tiramisu is tasty! Besides, the receptionist “Ziko “ has friendly service attitude and respond quickly. Overall, I had a pleasant dinner!
After reading all these great reviews, we were really excited to go and visit this restaurant, however, were quite disappointed. For starters we ordered the fried burrata with tomato sauce, the sauce tasted great, but the burrata was really cold even though it's supposed to be served at a room temperature. We also got the rosemary bread to go with it which was actually really nice with the tomato sauce! For main I had pappardelle alla bolognese, which tasted just meaty, I couldn't really taste anything else, but the pasta was smooth and fresh. At least the portions were quite big. Staff was okay, spoke English, however service was really slow. Felt like we were being ignored and when we were trying to catch the attention of the staff to ask for the bill, it seemed impossible. Even though it was very busy as it was Sunday night, they just stood there and chatted to each other instead of cheking to see if anyone needed anything.
Good atmosphere, prices and service but the food was a little bland. The burratta appetizer was good - great option to share among 2 people, although the bread it came with was cold and sorta stale. I ordered the stuffed shells with spinach and ricotta and there wasn’t a lot of flavor to it besides the top that had mozzarella. My partner got pasta bolognese and it tasted a bit watered down. The pizza was decent/ok.
The food was tasty and it came quickly but we were very bloated afterwards The service was quick but the waiters sometimes forgot what we asked for and they were always running over our heads The table was small even if we were three on a table for four and the tables in general were very close together to the point where it felt like we were sharing a table with the couple next to us The gnocchi with pesto was not gnocchi it was pasta shaped like gnocchi
Visit on Saturday 20th Sep: We arrived at 4pm with our children and were surprised to be told by the waiter that no hot drinks were available at that time, even though the terrace was practically empty. We still sat down and ordered two pistachio cappuccinos, which arrived without any pistachio along with churros that were undercooked l. When we shared our feedback before leaving to another waiter , he simply replied that we should have told them earlier, rather than showing any concern or effort to make things right. This kind of dismissive attitude only added to the disappointment. After a wonderful visit a few months ago, this experience was extremely poor — both in terms of service and quality. Unfortunately, it feels like standards have dropped dramatically Probably because the italian mamager wasn't around?
We went to the restaurant after seeing high ratings on google, but only after we found out after sitting in the restaurant that, they are asking each and every table to write the review in front of them as soon as they finish the food, that’s how they have higher number of ratings and reviews. Don’t get trapped. We ordered Pizza and Veggie starter with Burrata. Pizza was great, I can’t deny that. However, the in the grilled Burrata starter, while eating my husband got big piece of charcoal in his mouth, he crushed it between his teeth while eating, he has to run to the washroom to spit the entire thing out. When we confront this to the staff they behaved like nothing happened. The waiter didn’t even dare to come back to our table for the bill. Though one lady came to ask us to write reviews, who was called back by the waiter who served us. Another waiter came with the bill and even he was rude with my husband when my husband confronted this issue. Will never go back to this restaurant in our next visit. I hope they treat people gently.
