Jean Donuts

I saw that they had good reviews here so I came and bought half a dozen. They have reasonable prices and best of all, excellent service! The owner was so nice and kind. She was even generous enough to add in a few donut holes for me, knowing it was my first time here. The donuts here are soft and pillowy, not too sweet, and when you bite into it, it’s light and fluffy. Very fresh! Please come support their small business! Their donuts are delicious and they provide great service :)

Initial Review 2021: This is the best place for vegan donuts, or just regular donuts 😍 we went for the first time this morning and were treated like family. So welcoming and kind. The owner is so friendly and always gives extra donuts! All of the donuts are vegan and most are real yeast donuts which are my favorite kind. I've never had vegan donuts like these. Would definitely recommend.

Jean Donut is hands down the BEST donut shop in La Habra! The donuts are incredibly moist, soft, and absolutely delicious – easily the best I’ve ever had. What makes this place even more special is Jean herself. She has amazing customer service and genuinely cares about her customers – she even remembered me after only coming in twice! At first glance, it might look like an ordinary donut shop, but the quality and flavor of these donuts are extraordinary. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by – you’ll be blown away!

Jean Donuts is a 1000% way to support small businesses than large retail donut chains like Krispy Kreme. The donuts were not too sweet, just perfectly sweet and glazed on top. Moisture of the bread was spot on, and the fruit flavor of the blueberry donut appears to be the main winner. Donuts are very budget friendly $1.99 per donut. Lady in the front was very kind and generous. We will come back again!!

OH MY GOD. Jean is the cutest, sweetest lady ever. Freaking ADORABLE. I live way up North in a rural area, where there are no vegan donuts within 5 hours of me, so I got excited and bought waaaayyyyy too many donuts, haha. She was excited and grateful, and thanked us for supporting a small business, and threw in extra donuts for free. She was sooo nice and funny. OMG the raised donuts are fantastic. Better than Ronald’s Donuts in Vegas. We came at 7pm, so the donuts were already old, but they were still the softest, freshest donuts I’ve ever had in my life. I can’t imagine what they would be like if I’d gotten there early. The apple fritters are about the size of two of my hands put together. She was sold out of the more interesting flavors, so we just had the standard faire. The only negative are the cake donuts. They’re super soft and cakey, but they just soak up the grease. So just avoid the couple of cake donuts and stick with everything else. Oh yeah, she also said the drinks can all be made vegan by adding coffee instead of their usual dairy base.

Jean is the sweetest donut shop owner out there! Best part the donuts are Delicious!! 😋 There is always a good variety of fresh donuts. If there is something you want you don't see she will make it, like adding sprinkles or filing with fresh jelly. Most of the donuts are vegan and taste better that way. Don't be afraid that you're losing out without the dairy, honestly so Delicious. Then there's the nice chats she has with us when we go in. She's friendly and kind and remembers my favorite donut every time 🍩 Cash is better, she takes cards but there is a fee. Stop by and support a local small business!

Lovely donut place I visited a few days ago, the service was fast and the people inside are the nicest people you will ever meet! Ordered a Ham & Cheese jalapeño croissant and it was absolutely amazing but the jalapeños actually have a kick to them and the wonderful lady gave me a free glazed donut while I was waiting for her to heat it up! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone

Jean is the sweetest and most respectful lady I've ever come across in any business. My family loves her ham and cheese croissants, the donuts of course are good too! And many of her items, I've never disliked anything. You can tell right off the bat that she's sweet, always puts everything into care, she cares about her customers, she does her best in everything. I honestly don't even go shop anywhere else other than her shop, that's how much I love it there. It's like a 2nd home: a place you can feel relaxed and loved.

My son has a severe allergy to all dairy including casein and whey. Last week was his birthday. I called ahead to speak to the owner to confirm that the donuts are in fact vegan. He assured me that they only made vegan donuts. So I sent my mom There next day to pick some up for my so .We were so excited to give to my son. That night he had a horrible reaction , head to toe hives , epi pen etc. it was awful. My mom went to talk to them next day to tell them what happy. They swore no milk, hard to Believe that, must have been cross contamination. Needless to say of you have non vegan ingredients avoid tho place.
