⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Yuki Yama is hands down one of my favorite restaurants in Park City and an absolute must every time we’re in town. It’s my go-to spot for the perfect surf and turf experience 🍣🥩. The wagyu on the sizzling salt block is unreal — easily one of my all-time favorites. It’s incredibly juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. The sushi is just as impressive — the fish is always buttery fresh, and the Toro is an absolute must try. So rich, melt-in-your-mouth, and perfectly prepared 😋. Everything from the quality of the food to the overall experience keeps us coming back again and again. If you love exceptional sushi and top-tier meats, Yuki Yama never disappoints. If you want, I can also make a super short “Google review” version or one that feels more foodie-forward.

It was our early to bed night tonight, and we didn’t have a reservation… I loved the honesty of “we can seat you but we need the table in an hour and a half.” That tells me that they value their customers time! We had Stacey and she was phenomenal! She helped us choose an excellent Saki and answered all our questions about the choices (because they have everything)! I love this place because all the staff are friendly and all of them work together as a real team. My 13 year old said that he thinks this is the best restaurant in Park City- because they have - “great service, great food, comfortable seating (needed when you fall on your right buttock on a rail snowboarding in the terrain park 🤣 ) and he felt very valued as a customer.” I don’t eat sushi/fish but found fantastic alternatives. Highly recommend! Considering making a reservation. 😉

We went during Sundance so it was packed. Regardless, the service was still really good (better than expected) and the sushi was delicious. It tasted fresh, the presentation was excellent and some of the dishes were just very creative. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

Enjoyed a really nice meal at Yuki Yama tonight. Service was outstanding. Really appreciated the thorough attention from the team upstairs. Drinks were well made. Menu offers a nice blend of hot food and Food was quite good. Fish was nicely prepared. Madai, shima ahi, and masu were quite good. My friend had the ramen and it was outstanding. Maki were ok—too much going on there. More is not always better. Too many tourists with misbehaved children running around the restaurant—but alas that’s Park City. Not a ding on the restaurant.

Without a doubt one of the best sushis I’ve tasted. The attention to detail to boost each individual flavor is impressive. The service is 5 stars, but Brodie in particular went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Definitely recommend and will be coming back for sure.

Phenomenal experience! Jesus was an excellent chef! We sat bar top and it was such a fun time!

We went here a couple of months ago, and the food was delicious! Very good Japanese sushi. We ordered several rolls as we had a party of six and did plenty of food sharing. I would say you couldn’t go wrong with your order, although a couple of rolls were really spicy. The ambience is nice and the layout was pretty cool. The place was nice and clean and the service was very good. We will totally go back here again next time we’re in Park city and want some good Japanese sushi.

We went in to celebrate our anniversary and had the most amazing experience. It was honestly the best sushi we have ever had and we’re so happy we got to try wagyu for the first time here. Our server Trish and her amazing team were so nice and efficient too! 20/10 highly recommend!

We had an excellent experience. From the time we walked in they were happy to see us and made us feel welcomed. Within a minute of sitting down the manager came to check on us and ask us if we had any questions about the menu or the restaurant. We love sushi and asked for some recommendations and after asking us a few questions he made some excellent recommendations. The beers and cocktails he recommended were great, the appetizers and entrees were excellent. We had a few appetizers (spicy edemame and fried stuff shishito peppers), wagyu on a sizzling salt block, the executive role and some great sashimi as well. The sushi chefs were very friendly and equally attentive to us. Overall an excellent experience with excellent service and food. Would definitely come back.

Incredible experience here at Yuki Yama Sushi. The only downside was how filling every dish was and we couldn't order more! The staff are genuine and recommended excellent dishes. The tokyo sour was a great drink, nicely balanced and frothy.

Brodie took incredible care of us two nights in a row. Highly recommend sitting at the bar and letting the chef guide you omakase style and let Brodie help you with sake recommendations throughout, Stacie was wonderful in guiding our palettes as well, and it’s worth noting the incredible atmosphere and soundtrack that this place offers in Park City, a very fun night out with incredible food and service! Truly a highly of our first trip to Park City

Ramen was outstanding and full of flavor, especially on a cold evening! Sushi options for beginners and those looking to explore fun combinations! Service was super fast and friendly! They brought us the Macha Cheesecake for dessert and it was a delicate, delicious treat!

This is an expensive sushi restaurant that is probably worth every penny. The quality of the fish was truly superb. The menu is just right - not too big, not too small, with plenty of options. The roll creations were great. My favorite was the chiller, which has a citrus flavor with serrano chiles on top. I love that combination of fresh sushi, citrus, and fresh chili pepper. My brother loved the executive. The chicken karaage was also excellent! The wait staff were friendly and knowledgeable with good recommendations. Definitely among my top sushi spots around the Salt Lake / Park City area!

This restaurant was the highlight of my trip to Utah. I made reservations for a Saturday night via open table about a week in advance. This restaurant was recommended by the Concierge at The Waldorf Astoria Park City when I inquired about the best seafood in the city. According to the website they offer the freshest seasonal fish flown in from around the world!! The restaurant is located in the main area of Park City where all the shops and restaurants are. Parking can be difficult. They have street parking and a few lots. We should have just taken the hotel shuttle to make things easier. Eventually we ended up parking in the lot at the end of Main Street. It was a short walk to get to the restaurant from the lot. When I arrived I was immediately seated upstairs at a table directly in front of a window. I felt like it was one of the best seats in the house. When I made the reservation I did note that I was celebrating my birthday. This is the only establishment that actually acknowledged the note. Several staff members wished me a happy birthday! It’s the little things that go a long way. To start off I ordered the green tea. It is roasted with brown rice and matcha. This came out quickly and I enjoyed every sip. Following my tea, the crispy tuna tartare came out. This was good, but not the best tuna tartare I have had. Next we tried the Mr. Miyagi roll (red & snow crab, yellowtail, rolled in avocado, topped with tuna poke, sweet soy sauce). This was our favorite roll. The taste was unique and it was very fresh. My favorite dish was the black Cod! Oh my gosh my mouth is watering just thinking about it. This dish was perfection!!!!! We also tried the hamachi and the Executive roll (tempura shrimp, avocado, cilantro, topped with tuna, lime, sweet soy & habanero sauces.) the executive roll is one of the most unique rolls I have ever tasted. The lime on top gives it a very interesting taste. In addition to the explosive lime taste, you also get a taste of spicy and sweet. This should win an award for most unique roll. Last but not least , our waitress brought out a slice of cake to celebrate my birthday. She even had a candle in the cake! Our waitress was Gina and she was so awesome! She provided the best service and was so personable.. Everything about this restaurant is a win in my book. If you are in Park City I highly encourage you to check out this spot!! Hopefully you get Gina as your server, she is the BEST!

The food was absolutely delicious!! The special Maki was filled with generous serving of fish, and the flavors were balanced. The Nigiri, especially the O-toro, were fresh and delicious. Service was amazing. I highly recommend reservations, small quaint atmosphere just want a sushi place should be.

My wife and I sat at the sushi bar and had a great meal and an enjoyable time. I like the ambience of the narrow restaurant which is a bit more reminiscent of restaurants in Japan as compared to the wide open US concept. Food was great and we enjoyed talking with our chef. Everything we had was great. Highly recommend and if it is just a couple of you go for the bar.

Best meal on our week-long trip in Utah thus far. If you’re debating between the different Japanese restaurants in Park City, pick this one! After a disappointing experience at Shabu, we decided to go here. We ordered stuffed shisito peppers, a few of their specials, their limited Kamu dishes, Wagyu beef, and blackened cod.The japanese whiskey selection is small but excellent. We had the Nikka, Hatozaki, and Akashi. Prices are high since it’s in a resort town, but the quality is excellent and will meet your standards.

Absolutely phenomenal food that was almost over shadowed by the service. Our sushi chef, Ricky, did an amazing job at making sure we were satisfied along with our host and the rest of the staff.

I took advice from a local when I asked for the best sushi restaurant in park city, and I'm thankful I did. The service was excellent and the ambiance is cozy and warm. The sashimi and maki rolls were unique and delicious. Everything was extremely fresh.

Reservation is a must during peak season. There might still be a wait even if you have one. Service is wonderful and they do care about your dining experience. It's on the expensive side, easily $100 a person. Parking is always tricky in this neighborhood. I would recommend this spot.

I have eaten mountains of sushi in Utah, and I believe this place had the freshest fish. The menu is full of great options for the casual sushi consumer and also for those adventurous ones out there. The executive roll has everything I like in a sushi. It was spicy, citrusy, and had a little crunch. Make a reservation and enjoy!

E
Emily Andrew

Wow, loved this place! I especially loved the kimchi miso soup which had kimchi and rice in miso broth (I’m still thinking about it)! The rolls were fabulous as well. The Bruce Lee Roy roll was particularly good. The cocktails were also good (tequila drink and cucumber martini). Also had juicy limes!

J

Not cheap, but oh so worth it. I generally don't like veggie rolls much but the veggie roll I had was not only one of the best veggie rolls, but one of the best rolls I've ever had full stop. The fish, amazingly fresh and tasty, and the ramen, esp the broth, oh so good.

Ridiculously delicious. The waguu beef was so savory, the spicy edamame was incredible, and the ambience was amazing. I will be coming back here again! In addition, our server Billy was super honest with us about some of the different food options. Thank you so much Yuki Yama Sushi!!!!!!!!!!!

A good time was had by all. Given my spoiled expectations coming from California, the Sashimi was surprisingly fresh and a great variety. We had a good assortment of creative rolls and a few hot appetizers. Everything was great and we ordered a few more. For these times, tables are spaced apart, and masks coming in and going out of course.

Delicious food! The wagyu tataki was such a unique experience and the spiced edamame was fantastic. The sashimi was very fresh and high quality. It wasn’t as fancy as we expected, definitely a casual atmosphere but the location on Main Street was convenient for walking around and shopping. Would definitely go back!!

Still easily the best sushi in Park City, and maybe the best restaurant overall. The fish is incredibly fresh, and they always do a fantastic job of sourcing interesting varieties from across the world. Highly recommend sitting at the sushi bar and doing omakase style.

This sushi spot in Park City was surprisingly very good! I take my sushi very seriously and Yuki Yama did not disappoint. Our server was extremely friendly and nice to talk to. I’d definitely head back next time I’m in Park City.

Best sushi I’ve ever had…almost don’t want to post this because I don’t want it to be too crowded. But the flavors are amazing, there are specialty fish, and best of all 95% of their menu is naturally gluten free and staff were so knowledgeable. Even the fried chicken and crunchies on top were gluten free! Expensive but so so worth it.

AMAZING sushi! Fresh, tasty, beautiful presentation. Some unique varieties you would not find in most places. Must try Kurodai! Great great service by Brodie and Rosa. Tasty cocktails too!

Amazing sushi in casual setting right on Main Street! We were lucky to get a reservation at Yuki Yama a few hours before dinner (check around 5pm when cancellations hit). The food is definitely the star of the show, their very extensive menu includes fixed dishes and specials that vary with the fish they have on hand. Everything came fast and was flawless, don’t miss the Executive and Mr. Miyagi rolls, truly out of this world. Drinks are also pretty good and their sake selection is top notch if you’re into that. Definitely will come back when in Park City!

Went here for my 5th anniversary and had the 2nd floor all to ourselves. Our server Yel was super accommodating and even brought out an anniversary cake on the house. Food tasted amazing and we had a great night eating here.

One of my favorites when visiting Park CIty. The food is so fresh and so good! Love their variety of cocktails, local beers and sake. There is something on the menu for everyone. Highly recommend making reservations because they are very popular and get booked out way ahead of time especially during the busy seasons in Winter. Rare to be able to walk in and grab a table but that just tells you how good they are! Their is a great photography gallery next door too that you can kill time in too if you have to wait for a table. Overall I highly recommend this restaurants if you need a sushi fix

Came here with a friend a few days ago. They were a little behind on seating, and we decided to wait to sit at the sushi bar. The staff was so friendly and apologetic about the wait, and the service was impeccable. They sent something out from the kitchen to make sure we felt taken care of, and all of the sushi and sashimi we ordered was fabulous. I will definitely be back!

If you're coming to utah, this is a must!!! Thebstaffbis friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant is spacious and clean. Above all that...the food is sensational! I always feel as though everyone wants to hate on sushi restaurants that aren't close to the ocean. However, this place never disappoints. Thank you to Brodie for making us feel important and special..not just another customer.

We stumbled upon this place by chance while strolling along Park City’s Main Street on Christmas night, and it turned out to be a fantastic find. We ordered the Chicken Karaage, which was perfectly seasoned with a crispy, crumbly crust, and the portion size was surprisingly generous. Don’t miss the Special Executive Maki—it was easily one of the most flavorful maki rolls I’ve ever had. The thin lime slices on top brought everything together beautifully, adding a burst of freshness that complemented the umami flavors perfectly. The Green Hornet was good as well, but it was hard to focus on anything else while enjoying the Executive Maki. We ended the meal with the strawberry mochi, which was just right. The rice dough was thin and subtly chewy, without being overpowering. I would highly recommend Yuki Yama to anyone visiting Park City

Let me tell you I am not from Utah. I am from Florida and it’s probably the best sushi I’ve ever had. Everything is fresh our waiter. Stacy was amazing. We bought a bottle of red wine which we like chilled and she chilled for us. Hands down amazing. I’m 100% will come back before I will leave. I

Walking down Main Street in Park City can feel overwhelming very fast when you start to think where you want to go to eat. I was popping in and out of stores all day and I asked where I should go. They recommended a sushi spot. So I decided to give it a try. They are pretty busy but I got there early and sat at the sushi bar. It is a little cramped but not awful. Laura and Dustin helped me choose the best options and let me tell you they sent me on a great journey. Everything tastes so fresh and incredibly well flavored. I didn’t know the executive roll had cilantro in it and I probably would have asked with no cilantro if I got it again. But if you want sushi I would recommend trying this spot out.

Came for a quick bite. Got miso soup, a tuna tartare appetizer and 2 rolls. Pricey and depending on what you get, could be good or mid. The miso soup was overpriced but you get a good size for it. Our favorite thing was the tuna tartare appetizer which was a special of the day. Beautiful rice to fish ratio. The fish was fresh. The rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Greatly loved dish. Got a salmon roll and yellowtail roll that were mid. The fish was fresh, however the rice was so dry. You can see how dry it is in the picture.

Fantastic service, fantastic sake. Fish was good, though cuts were fairly inconsistent and sometimes left tougher bits on that are usually trimmed. Rice was a bit too firm. Overall a good experience and would return!

A good option to eat Japanese food. The cocktails varied and good. The Maki Rolls dishes are very good. 84069 exquisite in its crunchy sensation. Mr miyagi. in its excellent combination of flavors. I recommend the dessert of 20 layers of crepes and pistachio flavor

A truly delightful Japanese restaurant with superb food and great service. We started with Bluefin tuna (sustainably farm raised) and salmon nigiri. Buttery soft and flavorful. Next we had the grilled octopus specialty. It was seared so it had a crisp edge but tender center, with an amazing black sesame garlic paste, kimchee and red vein sorrel. Then we enjoyed their 84060 special maki roll of tempura shrimp, red & snow crab, mango, spring greens, rolled in soy paper with sweet soy sauce. The spring greens really were a nice addition with their crispness complementing the shrimp and crab. We accompanied this delicious dinner with one of their specialty drinks- the cucumber martini, and a Sapporo beer. UPDATE: We returned a week later and had a disappointing experience this time- that's why I am lowering my original rating from 5 stars to 4, averaging the 5 of the first visit and the 3 of today. We were seated for our reservation in their upstairs section, in a table by the window (I believe table 70). The floor at that point and the table sloped at an approximately 20 degree angle off of level. You can see that in the picture with the beer and soy sauce. They had a number of normal (non sloped tables open, but by the time they came back to take our drink order, those were now filled. Its not very comfortable to sit angled for the entire meal and they should not have used that table unless it was the last one available. We ordered Toro Battera which was supposed to be blue fin tuna tartare. Instead it was bland regular tuna- nothing like the blue fin tuna we had the prior time. We also order the same 84060 special maki roll as last time. Clearly this time it was prepared hastily by a different sous-chef and looked different and tasted uninspired. The tempura in the roll was soggy. We also tried the Spider soft shell crab roll. Strangely, the two end pieces with crab legs were cold (not even room temperature) while the center pieces of the roll were warm. Unfortunately, today's experience will cause us to look elsewhere for Japanese food in Park City going forward.

Ramen was great. Hot bomb was a nice addition. Eating at sushi bar and watching gutted fish being wrapped in Saran Wrap gave an uneasy feeling about possible food issues, as the fish was stacked on an open counter for the entirety of our meal.

B
Britt

We were surprised by how generic the food felt given the restaurant’s “Best of 2025” rating. We were seated upstairs, which unfortunately had a poor atmosphere. It was extremely loud, with stark white walls, and felt unfinished. The upper level could really benefit from some investment and thoughtful design to match the rest of the restaurant. The wagyu specialty roll was heavy and dry. We did enjoy the pot stickers and the sashimi, but beyond that, many of the rolls felt overworked and dry. Especially for the $250 price tag for two people. That said, our server and the support staff were excellent and attentive throughout the meal. Unfortunately, the strong service wasn’t enough to offset the food experience. Overall, we wouldn’t recommend this restaurant or plan to return.

Yuki Yama was okay. Not my favorite restaurant I was expecting better. The best dish to get here is the blackened fish. Sushi was far below expectations. I can probably make better sushi myself.

A
Anne Oh

The fish was fresh and well prepared, but giving it a 2/5 because my friends and I each ordered a 12 piece nigiri chef selection, which at most places is 12 different pieces of sushi, typically uniform in preparation and style for the night. What we received was 12 pieces, but each plate had 2 of the same pieces, so only 6 different types of fish. What was even odder was that all 3 of the orders were different. Only one of the orders had chu-toro and bluefin tuna, usually the most coveted of the pieces after uni, which feels like a pretty cheap move to pull (also there was no uni, which we understand is not always standard). Additionally, there were several mixtures of salmon sushi that were prepared differently. Overall, the fish tasted good, but all three of us were really thrown off by having to pick and choose off of each others plates what we were missing from ours and then not getting some select pieces. See photo. For this reason, I would not come back. On the upside, the negi-toro hand rolls were delicious and the seaweed was one of the most flavorful and well roasted we’ve had.

M
Max Elman

Mixed experience here. Much of the good was good, but the service was mediocre, the music was far too loud, and the price felt high. The server immediately trying to give $10 sodas to our small children without first asking the parents was unacceptable. We were disappointed to see that the chef’s choice 6 and 12 piece sets each had pairs of fish - so only 3 and 6 kinds respectively. Every other sushi restaurant I’ve been to and ordered a similar set was unique pieces. Some kind of heads up or note on the menu would be much appreciated. We expected the nigiri to be seasoned somewhat but it was not. Lastly, the timing and pacing of the meal was disappointing. My 12 piece set didn’t arrive to the table until the other 4 diners had finished their meals - at least a 20 minute difference in arrival times. It’s a bad experience to feel rushed eating $68 of fish because your table is already done with their meal.
