What a shame someone who portrays himself as an ex employee who worked a few shifts and then was not brought back for some reasons I won't say would make up stuff. The same person who said he loved the place and really wanted to work there. Smart people reading these reviews will see through this but most importantly safety is always first and if any of our guests have any questions they can contact the owner at the store. First time at Hurricane, had a great lunch experience! Service was quick and friendly, and our food came out hot and fresh. We ordered wings and tried the Garlic Parm, Mild, Chipotle BBQ, and Garlic Mild. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the sauce flavors, and in our experience the wings are larger than places like Hooters or Buffalo Wild Wings (we love these places). The restaurant, food, and staff left a great impression on us, and we are definitely coming back!

This is my favorite wing place. Love the alcoholic drinks. Love the wings and the variety of flavors. But for a bar, it has great regular food as well like tacos and sandwiches. Great sides and appetizers. Not impressed by the burger tho

Place is great walked in Hans solo and got seated immediately water with lemon on my table before asking waitress made a good recommendation on what i should have very impressed with the atmosphere professionalism of the staff from Lauren the bartender being A+ great bartender as well a my waitress Daijah with the amazing food recommendations as well a being a 5 star waitress and the kitchen as well guys my goodness the tuna was cooked to perfection!!!! I must say for a first timer im extremely impressed i highly recommend family of 2,3 or 4 to come through and enjoy the experience that i had !!! This place has so much personalty and great food i cant beleive it took this long to come and enjoy it

We were in central Long Island for a baseball tournament and our whole day got rained out. Hurricane was able to accommodate our entire team on short notice and our food and service was great!

Place is great!! The wings are always spot on and they actually run specials that change. The Girls (Jasmine , Gabby) that run the bar are awesome and always on point. Also Scott is always on point with great service!! Wish they'd get more customers night time so they stay open later. Daily happy hour is good and plenty of tap. All the employees have been there for a bit which is a good thing. I stay away from places with high turnover rate. Wings, nachos, burgers all good . Definitely worth visiting.

We ordered take-out on a whim while staying at a hotel. Our food was delicious- the burgers were huge and sides were very good too. The prices were good and everything was packed with care.

My family and I were looking for somewhere to sit and enjoy something good to eat and found this place on Google. They offered outdoor seating and had good reviews so we decided to give them a try. We were not disappointed at all. Their menu is full of delicious options. My sister is the world's pickiest eater and even she was very satisfied with the wings she ordered. Everyone got something different and everyone enjoyed their food. Besides the food being delicious, our server Rosy was AMAZING!!! She was super sweet and knowledgeable about the menu. Everything she recommended, we LOVED! She really made our experience even better. I wish I encountered more server as friendly and helpful as Rosy is. If we lived close, we would return soon but she is definitely worth the trip. Thanks again Rosy! Go and see her! You'll love the food and the experience!

I wish i took a pic but i dined in 2 weeks ago and got bone in wings… the best i had in a long time. The freshness of the chicken, so juicy and crispy. It was beyond perfect. I will be ordering to go in a bit. Been craving it ever since. The service was excellent as well.

Best 1/2 and full rack of ribs on Long Island. The meat just falls off the bone. The street corn side is amazing. All reasonably priced.

So I actually did not eat here but the staff is super awesome. My car was having issues at the gas station next door and I needed to pry out my gas tank and the hostess and manager assisted me by giving me a fork and knife to get it open. Food is great I bet also I’d def come off of the atmosphere alone. Thanks guys!

Came in for taco Tuesday, had Rosie as my server and she was phenomenal. I have worked in the service industry for 10+ years and now as a manager I would be beyond grateful to have staff like her. The food was fantastic as well but the exceptional service really stands out to me. Will definitely be back soon!!

I had the pleasure of being served by waitress Dee and she was phenomenal.She made sure that everything was perfect. The experience was 10/10 because of her smile and positive reassurance. Will be returning to enjoy the cyclone wings she recommends and hopefully I win the cooler she got us the register for.

The honey pecan salad with crispy chicken is soooooo good it's literally my favorite and the mac and cheese bites is also amazing 10/10

Always our favorite place to go for wings. Good quality meat and multiple seasoning options. The staff is always friendly and attentive. We never have an empty drink. Even the first time we visited, they made us feel like regulars. We return often :)

We were seated right where we requested, nice and accommodating staff. The hurricane ribs were tender and had just the right amount of smokiness, the mexican street corn was also nicely seasoned and paired nicely with the ribs, the cilantro rice was a bit dry for my liking. Both the wings we got were good, we liked the garlic parm a lot. Would order all of them again! Got the drink from the bar, can't remember what it's called but it was really smooth as well, had a nice guavalike aftertaste. Definitely would eat here again if we're around the area :)

Wings were good overall. Maybe a bit crunchy than I would have liked them to be. Fried pickles were amazing! And the Mac and Cheese bites were good too. I just didn't like having only the six lol

When ordering through DoorDash for delivery, my order seems to get a little messed up pretty often (ie ordering 15 boneless with two flavors often results in me getting 15 boneless with only one of the flavors. Unsure if this is a doordash issue or on the restaurant however DoorDash has compensated me each time with no issue). That being said, the wings are great. A frequent takeout spot for me.

For a wing joint, I'd say it's one of the better ones. Always clean and the food is always good. Wish they have more blue cheese with the orders.

Decent wings, good sauces. The bone-in wings truely are jumbo which is nice. Bar area can have a bit odd vibe depending on the day and if the bartender has friendly regulars. They are still very attentive but it makes the place feel a little too clique at time.

We ordered wings and fries to go. The wings had a good amount of sauce, but I thought they could've been crispier. I'll just know to ask for that in the future. The fries with cheese, bacon, and jalapenos were amazing. Didn't take long for the order to be ready. I thought it was a bit expensive for wings. All in all, we will get wings there again.

Went here to watch a televised sporting event. It was the middle of the day so starting was not an issue. Bartender was friendly, but considering how empty it was in there, it may have been nice to have a little more attention to our drinks not being empty. Food was good. My friend said they were since if the best before he has had. I had the fajita bowl. It was delicious. All in all I would go back. Convenient meet up location.

My family and I went on a Saturday for an early dinner. It wasn't relatively busy, but our service was somewhat slow. We had 2 servers help us out, since our main server was a little backed up. The assisting server took our drink and appetizer order. The food did take longer than expected, but was still really delicious. I recommend the Honey Pecan Chicken Salad and of course an appetizer of wings. We'll definitely will be back soon.

Great atmosphere and service. All patrons seemed to be enjoying themselves. Staff was attentive but not intrusive. My meal (veal sorrentino) was absolutely delicious and perfectly made. Little pricey but definitely worth the cost for special occasions.

I only go here for wings when I have groupon. The restaurant has bar and lots of TV so good for sport night. Food is so so. $8 for 5 small wings isn't a good price. Their menu has lots of options for wing sauce but it isn't that great. Staff are friendly and helpful

The food was OK to me...I had the codfish and fries...OK. My guest had a burger that he thought was REALLY GOOD, my other guest had a cheese steak and liked that as well. Decent place for lunch during the work week. Great selection of beer on tap. While I enjoy some of the food I would not go out of my way to recommend anything in particular. Good place to hang out with some buddies, chat, drink, eat and watch a game.

We visited with a larger party (12 people including 6 kids) and had a less than stellar experience. While the service was good enough, the wings were a huge disappointment. They weren't cooked long enough leaving the skins sorry and rubbery. The sauces, advertised up to "extreme", were nothing of the sort and left me wanting more heat in a hot wing.

The most okayest of okay places to eat. It's like a smaller chain of Buffalo Wild Wings. Same items on the menu, even very similar taste. It's a fine place to eat if you are around the area and just want some drinks and wings, but nothing spectacular. Staff was nice and food was prepared nicely Can't complain.

The food was good but our waitress didnt know anything. She didn't know the specials, our food came late and missing stuff. I'm not sure if I would go back just because I would want to get that waitress again. Even our drink that we ordered first came at the end of our meal when I reminded her for the 3rd time that our drink had no yet been delivered to the table.

We decided to come here on our lunch break because we knew about their quick lunch menu. We were seated by the host at a table as there was no room at the bar for 4 people - big mistake. We sat down and our drink orders were taken, we were all puzzled as the host did not give us the lunch menu, but the dinner menu instead. When our waitress approached we asked for the correct menu, where she proceeded to belittle her coworker to us. We all knew what we wanted almost immediately but it took her about 15 minutes to return and take our orders. We advised we'd prefer separate checks and she was more than helpful in this area. When our food was finally brought to the table, we were left with a total of 8 minutes to inhale our lunches before she brought us the bill. The food was mediocre, I got the Cancun Chicken Wrap and was unimpressed, my friends who ordered the wings said they were to die for (hence the title of the restaurant I guess!). Overall, my experience was by no means grand, but the staff was nice, the waitress was chatty, and it was pleasant. I'd only change the speed of service and a little bit better of a meal.

I've had hit and miss with the wings here. Most of the time they're great, but a decent amount of the time they've got weird, chewy cold spots. This was a good lunch spot for me the past couple Saturdays, but it's nothing to brag about. There's a good beer selection and okay service. The manager changes channels before checking to see if anyone is watching anything, which irks me. I harp on stupid things.

Went in for a quick lunch which did come out in like 10 minutes(non rush hour) they forgot about my side of fries and the wings are a little small. Also the ridiculous hot sauce flavor(literal name) is definitely just weak, lemon pepper wings were good flavor tho just need a little bit more seasoning

The food was OK but everything was really really greasy and the fries and calamari were soggy, wet and just gross. The fries when I lifted them out of the container, were basically taking a bath in the grease. Now I knew the food would be greasy because of what we ordered but not completely saturated like that. But the woman who served me was AMAZING. I ordered for my whole crew, consisting of 9 people, and she made sure everything was right and also separated the meals into their own bag so I didnt have to look through them all while handing out who's was who's meals. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because of that waitress and how great she was at her job.

Good food. Had the Impossible Burger and sweet potato fries. Slow service though. Was not packed yet it took forever to get a drink and even longer for the food. Then, it took even longer to get my credit card back when I paid the bill. I miss Bar Louie in Smithtown.

They stopped tossing the wings in the sauce, so be sure to specify if you want them served correctly. Also never get any sauce with horse radish in it. I like horse radish and both sauces tasted like paint. The quality of the boneless wing is a lot better than other wing chains, however.

Burger was decent, but the bun was old (I could tell, kind of stiff.) Waited a long time to be seated, for my burger which was dropped en route, and for the Bill to be paid. Ice in my iced tea was melted. What should've been 30 min lunch became an hour long lunch.

I personally do not like hurricane grill. The service is almost always slower than most restaurants and their food is mediocre at best. I got one of their lunch specials and I did not feel good the rest of the day.

Disappointed with food. Nice clean place for having a few beers but service and food a letdown. I had the grilled chicken sandwich. First they forgot all the toppings. By the time I got the toppings the sandwich was cold. The cut of chicken was paper thin!!!! The fries were not impressive but I was starving because like I said the chicken was pathetic! I was still hungry and had to stop at Taco bell afterwards.

Very noisy with TVs all over the place. Children's wings dinner was good. Tuna tacos had good tuna but weird stuff in it like pickles. Soft taco was tough, guacamole (extra) had a weird taste.

Stopped going that much because the service has gone done each time we went. This time was no different. Went in and was greeted right away and sat down. It took the waitress about 5 minutes to come over, which we were fine with because we could figure out what we wanted to eat and drink. She greqts us and asks for our drinks and we order but before we can say anything she rushes off. At the time, maybe 3 tables beside us had people. She comes back with our drinks wrong (sodas without ice), but we shrugged it off. She once again was about to leave and I say we're ready to order. She didn't seem to be pleased but complies and asks what would you like to eat. We tell her our order and before she leaves we ask, "Can you bring the little ones food out with the appetizers"? She says nothing and leaves. She brings the appetizers out along with the kids food, but than we notice one appetizer isn't what we ordered and say something to her. She starts saying that's what you ordered and I said no we order fried pickles. Now she's getting annoyed and grabs the plate and runs off. Comes back with the right food. About 5 minutes later I finished my drink and wanted a refill but everytime she would walk by she wouldn't look by or come near the table. Finally getting her to come my table, I just ask for the check and to go boxes. We get the check, pay, and go.

Well just got chase outside. Bartender thought i didn't leave her money to pay bill. Bartender didn't stop talking to her friends to look down and see money on bar. and i left her a 30% tip should have ask for tip money back. Very nice

What a shame! Have been here multiple times before and it's always been pretty decent, but this time the service killed it. Arrived on a Sunday evening to a half empty restaurant only to be told there was a "hold" on seating tables (what does that even mean) and there would be a 15 minute wait to get seated......ok, so we wait at the bar and have a drink in the meantime. Not as easy as it sounds when the bartender is running around the restaurant busing tables. Finally get a drink, finish my drink as well as everyone else and its now 35 minutes later. We have consequently watched a large amount takeout and door- dash orders be picked up, so we ask the hostess how much longer until we're seated, it's now 20 mins past the 15 mins she originally told us. She can't give us a straight answer or time so we give it 5 more minutes until we finally walk out. Thanks for utterly wasting my family's time Hurricanes!! A side note to the owners...you were obviously way understaffed and didnt want anyone to know, but you know what? When customers come out of their homes to visit your establishment, they should be your first priority, not online orders and door dash. Repeat business is what keeps your doors open and myself personally, i dont know if I'll be returning after this. I would safely say the two disgruntled families that followed us out probably feel the same way and wont be back.

Lame, stopped food service hour before close on a friday night. Didnt stop serving alcohol though. Turned on all lights bright and started packing up tables 30 minutes to close. They didnt want people to stay. As prior GM of a restaurant I dont think this location will break any sales records.

Wings were ok but the corn was cold and the coleslaw was rancid.I couldn't find anyone to change my sides even though there were more workers than patrons. I asked for the sides to be taken off the bill and was still overcharged. Very surprised that no one came to ask me what was wrong with the sides. I'm assuming there was no manager on duty.

We have been coming to this restaurant since it opened years ago. Earlier this evening we went for dinner with our 4 year old son who is an extremely picky eater. I'd like to preface this with we have NEVER EVER experienced any problems before. Because my son is picky we brought a Happy Meal in for him to eat. My husband and I still order appetizers, entrées and cocktails as we would anywhere, just no kids meal. We sat down and the waitress told us we were not allowed to have a Happy Meal. When we explained that our son would not eat here because he is picky and has food intolerances she laughed. We were the ONLY people in the restaurant at dinner time on a Sunday. She gave us no leeway so we packed up and left, went down the street to another restaurant where we are eating with no issues. This place has very little business to begin with, and the fact that they would rather turn down a $60-70 table and tip, the only people in the place, over a $5 kids meal is absurd. We will never go back after the way we were treated.

On Tuesday June 23rd after 5pm I ordered take out of "honey garlic" chicken wings with regular fries (Which I found quite expensive) .When I got home I was surprised to find out the wings were fried very dry with no honey garlic sauce! I'd to pour bbq sauce on them in order to make them palatable enough to eat. I never bought from your restaurant before & was quite displeased! Therefore, I'll never buy there again or recommend your establishment to anyone!! Have your kitchen staff do a better job!

I ordered 20 wings half bbq and half Buffalo and the receipt stated as I ordered. However, when I opened it at home, there was only 15 mild wings in there. Unintentional or not, if i hadn't checked I may have lost money spent. I had to drive back to pick up the 5 wings spending extra time and money on the gas and when I asked for assistance, they gave me aditude and begrudgingly apologized. Wings are good here but the attitude and service is the worst!

Absolutely terrible. I ordered online so I know the order went in correctly. I asked for extra crispy. Not only did the wings not have any sort of batter or breading but the skin was a soggy gooey mess. The mango habanero sauce was not even remotely hot. Overpriced and not good.

I would never recommend this place to anyone! The delicious wings aren't worth it. I thin I forget that every time I make the mistake of coming here thinking it's a good spot to watch a game. It's not. Needs new management. Worst service ever (2 hockey periods, which equates to 40 minutes, to get sliders). And I've unfortunately come more than a few times, but now I'm done. For a local team playoff game you can't turn the TV sound ON? I've also eaten an the restaurant, still the only good food is their wings, service just blah. The 1 star is well earned. Despite the fact it was practically empty, service was ridiculously slow. And the waitress institued her own California drinking laws (only 1 person can serve you drinks at a time), which meant when she was nowhere to be found, we were not allowed to order directly from the bartender. Do they know this is NY and we have our own freaking laws? Get out of town, this franchise is failing fast on long island. Plenty if great wing places

I went here once and I thought it was good. Made the mistake of going back again. If you wanna have food poisoning for 3 days, this is the place for you. Not sure if the wings were not washed or uncooked but once I finish those wings I felt an uncomfortable full to the point that my drink sat on top of whatever I ate. Woke up in the morning with bad burps, stomach pain, and weakness. Stay away.

I haven’t been here in a bit but I won’t be back any time soon. Waitress was so so sweet and the atmosphere is nice but we waited about 45 minutes for our food to come out and it was cold and very salty. There were only a few other families seated. None of us finished our meals and I got charged 99¢ for a little sour cream. Ultimately not worth the wait or price :/. I really hope they improve their food and staff to get food out faster because there really is a nice vibe.

Ordered take out. The entire office ordered. They left out 3 entrees and then argued about correcting the order. My order was a Bacon Jam BLT... THERE WAS NO BACON JAM ON IT. A DRY SANDWICH AS I SHOW IN THE PICTURE. The worse part is I am at work so I can't even doctor it up and add Mayo or anything. Very disappointing. And the fact that they didn't even want to correct the missing orders and treated us like we were trying to get over on them. We order for about 20 people so we spend a decent amount of money, they will not be getting our business again.
