Per caso mi sono ritrovata in questa trattoria. Ho preso il piatto del giorno che era fuori menù: una bellissima e buonissima frittura mista di calamari e verdure. Il personale davvero gentile. Un ottimo tavolo al tramonto è stato la cornice ad un Menù molto ben organizzato. Servizio di buon livello, qualche lentezza ma sicuramente dovuta al periodo estivo ed al ristorante affollato. Camerieri molto gentili. Assolutamente consigliato. Buonissima cantina. Bisogna tornarci.

Siamo stati a cena al ns arrivo a Venezia (Giudecca) e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Ottimo cibo, preparato con sapienza, ambiente familiare e personale accorto e gentile. Ci siamo ritornati e abbiamo ritrovato tutto. Ottima cucina ed ancora il personale disponibile e professionale (non avevamo prenotato ma subito ci hanno trovato una sistemazione). Tutti davvero gentili ma corre l’obbligo citare Francesco, davvero accogliente e sempre sorridente e professionale. Il costo in linea coi ristoranti veneziani.

Allora premetto che sono un locale, amante di Venezia, una vista così nn è facile trovarla, comunque facendo una recensione del ristorante devo dire, soprattutto essendo un pescatore e amante del pesce, tutto quello che ho mangiato era di ottima qualità prodotti freschissimi , ma soprattutto la cortesia e la disponibilità grazie davvero bravi!!

Great place! Environment was welcoming and easy going. Far away from the craziness this is a great place for a comforting dinner. The food was all delicious. A wonderful place with a calm and welcoming atmosphere, excellent wine, and truly authentic Venetian cuisine. We enjoyed it so much that we came back twice to try more traditional dishes. Very good vibes by the sea. Staff was really nice and food was delicious. Prices might be a little bit high but its worth it. They include water in your bill even if you dont drink it so watch out.

This was by far the best place we ate at in Venice. Does not feel like a tourist trap. Authentic cuisine spiced at the proper level. Not just salt and pepper. My wife and I go on food tours all around the world. When I am on vacation I rarely eat at the same place twice. But I came back to this place for 2 dinners! Watching the water during the Venetian sunset was incredible! Honestly if this is the only restaurant you go for dinner you will have the most romantic evenings.

Hamburger gourmet con patatine fritte, magari un po' di verdura grigliata in più all' interno sarebbe ok per bilanciare l hamburger di carne, è una porzione abbondante, comunque tutto delizioso. We had a lovely dinner in Giudecca at this location. Ordered the sardines (Sarde in saor), which consists of Luke-warm fried sardines marinated with sweet and sour onions, pine nuts, and raisins. Absolutely gorgeous to start with. Then the bavette ai fruiti de mare, at first I was confused because I expect a steak when I order “Bavette” but was pleasantly surprised with a large pasta dish with all manner of shelled sea food in a delicious tomato sauce (a tad over-salted, but still delicioso). Then the desert, probably my highlight. The pistachio crème brûlée is a MUST - not overly sweet, extremely smooth and incredibly tasty. The tiramisu was also gorgeous. All the while you sit right by the water and enjoy the boats going by with the backlighting of Venice. Served by waiters who are very friendly and have great recommendations.

Trattoria ai Cacciatori greets you warmly, the kind of place that will do its best to find you a table even when full. That welcome sets the tone, but the kitchen’s efforts proved uneven across the two evenings we were there, the first being better.. The house pasta with vegetables and muddica atturata – the Sicilian style toasted breadcrumbs – showed promise but was let down by timid seasoning and a lack of anchovy depth. Handmade and freshly cut, yes, but more middling than memorable. The chicken breast with potato wedges followed the same line: neatly plated, but slightly dry and under-seasoned, an effort that fell short. Even the scallops with pumpkin purée and marinated mushrooms, strong in concept, stumbled on portioning – balance was lost, and the dish simply didn’t come together. The daily catch, a grilled sea bream with vegetables and polenta, ought to have been the safe triumph of simplicity. Instead, it was handled carelessly, proving disappointing. There were brighter moments. The squid-ink tagliolini with clams, bottarga, and prawn tartare struck the right note, clean and fresh if still wanting more sharpness from lemon and depth from the bottarga (7.5/10). The off-menu fritto misto was the real standout: crisp, well-seasoned, and confidently fried, it captured exactly why such a dish endures (9/10). The scampi risotto, too, was tasty if a little blurred, a clearer stock would have lifted it further (7/10). Grilled octopus with broccoli purée and crispy leeks had potential but lacked smoke and tenderness, while the pistachio semifreddo, chosen with some expectation, closed the meal on a lighter, less satisfying note. In the end, Ai Cacciatori offers warmth and flashes of skill, but the food too often feels like missed opportunity. With more care and sharper execution, it could match its welcome. As it stands, it’s a house of highs and lows.

This quaint and inviting trattoria is located on the island of Giudecca, right on the waterfront. It's only reachable by boat from San Marco, and just a short walk from the Church of the Holy Redeemer (Chiesa del Santissimo Redentore). The menu features traditional Italian cuisine with a strong focus on seafood. While the food was enjoyable, it was the cozy and authentic atmosphere that truly stood out. The portions were generous and the prices quite reasonable. One example dish was the anchovies on flatbread, which was nearly the size of a full pizza despite being classified as an appetizer. The staff were genuinely warm and welcoming. I’d happily return.

Disappointing. We asked for a table for 8pm and were told it was either 7..15 or 9.15. We went for 7.15 although it's early for us. We turned up to find lots of empty tables which did not have diners the entire time we were there. Starter of burrata and what looked like a bit of tinned tomatoes was OK but overpriced. The chicken was OK but the sauce was gloopy and not very nice although the sole was good. The house wine was either 10 or 21 euros a bottle. We chose the 21 and it was OK but after the lovely house wines we had at other restaurants was very overpriced. We did not bother with desert. Honestly there are better cheaper restaurants on the promenade. I would look elsewhere.

Highly recommend. The food is priced well and the portions were generous and had great flavor. The atmosphere is very relaxed and you can really enjoy the view and take your time to dine and sip wine. The gnocchi were the best I ever had with a light yet chewy texture and the sauce is a flavorful Alfredo style. The risotto had a nice seafood flavor throughout but there were only 5 shrimp. After two days here I learned the portion of seafood is smaller in first courses than expected. Waiters were helpful but did not check back often.

Ho deciso di fare una recensione dettagliata e il più possibile oggettiva anche questa volta, sperando di risultare utile a chi vorrà recarsi presso questa trattoria. Il matrimonio dei Bezos ci fa venire la voglia di fare un giro a Venezia. Decido pertanto di partire da casa mia che é a Vicenza per portare mia moglie a cena alla Giudecca. Ho chiamato per prenotare un tavolo per cena e mi risponde una ragazza (che poi scopro essere una cameriera) la quale mi da due opzioni ossia alle 19.30 o alle 21.00. Consultatomi con mia moglie richiamo dopo pochi minuti, mi risponde un uomo questa volta e la scelta di orario non esisteva più... ho prenotato quindi alle 20.00 senza problemi. In realtà arrivati sul posto ci siamo resi conto che la prenotazione non serviva, di tavoli ce n'erano a sufficienza... La posizione di per se é bella, al tramonto i colori che Venezia sa regalarti sono unici e irripetibili. Veniamo alla trattoria. Non aspettatevi la tovaglia sul tavolo ecco.. lo stile é quello della trattoria rustica e casereccia. L'accoglienza é quella tipica che si riserva ai turisti...camerieri giovani ma poco formati e preparati, fanno del loro meglio per carità ma voto insufficiente..in particolare la ragazza si rivela assolutamente inadeguata al ruolo, per nulla empatica col cliente, non sa versare il vino, avevo il suo gomito in faccia, era talmente concentrata su se stessa che puntualmente ogni volta si allontanava dai tavoli si specchiava nella vetrina della trattoria per essere sicura che il suo lato b fosse ok. Il cibo: ordino degli spaghetti con pomodorini tonno fresco e capperi, buoni nel complesso ma il pomodoro per dio, il sugo rosso coi pomodorini anche no! Orata e branzino alla griglia senza infamia e senza lode, verdure alla griglia di accompagnamento non erano fresche le abbiamo lasciate lì... il dessert come il pesce direi sufficiente. Conto tutto sommato in linea considerando la posizione. Al pagamento c'era un signore, presumo il titolare, se ci fosse stato Optimus di Elon Musk sarebbe risultato forse più simpatico... 😀 In conclusione voto sufficiente, ancora una volta sono le persone che fanno la differenza, il posto di per sé non basta!
