The best food and flavor in Lompoc ca.

Hello, I hardly ever do reviews when I travel for business - but, tonight's carnitas breakfast burrito was locked in as my Top 5 breakfast burrito that I have ever eaten - not kidding. Lot's of different salsa available, prepared professionally w/. chips and a friendly smile when I walked in. I will definitely be back! Great job & superb burrito - THXS!

For being in a small town, this restaurant is amazing. Their tacos al pastor are phenomenal and are prepared with meat slow cooked on a spick. They are not stingy with the meat either. This is my favorite place to eat when visiting from out of town.

Not 5 stars because it's a appealing dining atmosphere but because the food is so great. Try their taquitos or burrito.My favorite restaurant, they include a full salsa bar with onions limes radishes ect. Having had food from all over California and Mexico this restaurant makes some of the best food I have ever had.

As someone who doesn't live in the area all year, it has been hard finding great food except for a few good places. This place blew away my expectations. To be honest, the decor isn't anything special, but who cares! Everything about my experience here at tacos el tizon was fantastic, from the friendly staff to the outrageously delicious carnitas. Will definitely be frequenting this restaurant more often.

Love it! I'm glad we picked this restaurant among other taco places. Hand made tortillas. Very friendly stuff. If you want an authentic mexican food this is the perfect place. We'll come back to this place when we visit Lompoc again.

1st visit.. 5:45 pm and busy.. Interior basic and clean. We ordered carnita plate, asada nachos, asada burrito and tacos. They were busy and the food with worth WAITING FOR... Elejandro served us and was friendly and professional..

Delicious. Great food very generous portions. Always legit. Must try ! Taco Tuesday is seriously the best because it isn't "Street tacos " its legit tacos . Packed with the toppings

The rest of the menu is legit as well. As much as another restaurant in town gets the raves, this place right across the street is better. It's local, legit, and really freakin' tasty!!!!!

Great Tilapia platter, shrimp platter and kick-ass green sauce. Hadn't been back in a couple of years but the food was still excellent.

Food is really good. Usually quick service. My husband likes to come here often and I like the variety in the plates that they offer.

Great service but food can be improved a little more. Some food was a little salty and other food had no flavor. Handmade tortillas looked more like Handmade gorditas and reheated.

We went here on taco Tuesday where this is the special at a fabulous price. Very tasty and a great deal. The rest of the menu seems pricey for a restaurant that isn't full service. Also, disappointed no chips/salsa that you can get at competitive prices.

This place was delicious the burritos we tasty, the service was great and the the staff were friendly and very welcoming, even after showing up 20 minutes till closing they were very kind and did not crowd or bother my family and I after their closing time. They even let in another family as my family and I were leaving.

My one criticism is the interior could use some work to improve the ambiance, it's getting pretty dated and I think they'd get more business if the aesthetic were invested in a bit.

Nice bright colors inside. Live soccer games. Mexican music. Table/ eating area a little crowded. But food is good. Asada wet burrito has delicious and filling.

a really small family owned place which does a wide variety of tacos. the lengua was tender and cleaned well and the asada tender though could have used some flavor. Decent overall.

Friendly staff the food was great but they need better management. The music was too loud, the place needed to be cleaned the bathroom needed maintenance. The salsa bar was empty as well.

Truly tasty tacos, with my favorites being the alambre (onion, mild chiles, bacon, cheese) and the carnitas. Pastor was a bit bland. I didn’t try the asada but Sonnyboy said it was awesome. Tacos are $2-$3/each. We also enjoyed an alambre burrito ($9) and the red and spicy light green salsas. Regular verde salsa was just a’ight. They have plenty of beer options and soft drinks. Service was okay. Covid-legit outdoor tables provide a view of the parking lot. Not bad on a lovely warm autumn day.

Waited 15 mins. No sign. No indication of not being nope .

A so so environment, terrible customer service, do not even know how to handle service, do not know how to answer a simple question on the menudo, the tortillas are a bit to dry not enough flavor. I ordered chorizo con huevos and they had no chorizo, and super salty.

The veggies looked old and the radish smelled bad while grabbing them from the container. I am a certified food handler and certified by the US Army. A city food inspector of Lompoc should come decertify them. I bet they will fail inspection.
