Blue Goose is FANTASTIC! I'm Hispanic, I know Mexican food, and the Blue Goose serves QUALITY meat. The steak fajitas are tender with every bite. The charro beans are sooooo tasty. The LIME rice is wonderful! And my Fresco Tacos (fish) were outstanding! We also ordered the GingerLime Tacos as well, and they were also fantastic. Brisket Tacos - delish! The salsa has the perfect "kick" to it. I loved it! Allan's Chicken Enchiladas were perfection. He said they were tender and not stringy. All six of us loved our entrées. We were very happy with our ordered and even though we wanted a dessert, we were all too full to eat another bite. We each got a "To Go" because the plates were so plentiful, we took some home. My fish taco came with 3 tacos. With the Charro beans and lime rice, it was sooo much, I brought home, charro beans, lime rice, and one taco. Lots of food; super generous servings. Ginger Lime Fish Tacos: Three open-faced, fried tilapia tacos served on char-grilled corn tortillas with fresh Haas avocados, pico de gallo, queso fresco, and a red cabbage carrot mix. Drizzled with zesty ginger sauce. TACOS FRESCOS: Three crispy blackened tilapia tacos, pico de gallo, jack cheese, and chipotle mayo. Served with poblano lime rice and black beans. The BLUE GOOSE is an impressive atmosphere. I love the soft blue neon lighting. Our server, Brooke, was great. One can call ahead and get on the wait list as you travel in. The food; the customer service; the ambiance; the prices, ALL 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ *************************** After the last three visits to Chuys and being served gristle, rubbery steak fajitas, IDK WHY we continued to go! Those days are over.
Always love this place for the great food at reasonable pricing. We also love the all u can eat homemade flour tortillas. The manager comp'd us with some Queso when he found out our table was full of veterans.
Came in for happy hour and got steak tacos and steak nachos. Tacos far exceed the nachos for sure! We also had the loaded queso. For drinks I had cocktails - Pablo’s daughter (spicy jalapeño marg) and la flaca! Both great
My favorite place to go for lunch or dinner with friends. Great atmosphere, happy staff, great to go on tuesdays for 2 dollar margaritas and thursdays for 3 dollar margs. Food never disappoints. I recommend to all new comers
We had dinner here at blue goose cantina. The one off Park and preston and Lainey our server was literally one of the best we have had in a while. Lainey was so attentive friendly and just pure amazing! She was on top of things. Highly recommend anyone to ask for her as your server. Thank you so much Lainey!!! Kiddos to management for having her as an employee here.

I have always loved this place but today JAMES was amazing. We got there just after lunch and it was steady. I work in the service industry and have seen many servers that just aren’t good. He was all over it, polite, happy and a great server. I would hire him!! THANK YOU for the good service as it helped me enjoy my birthday even more. ❤️🎂
My absolute favorite Mexican restaurant! Cant beat the $2 margs on Tuesdays and thursdays! You really can't go wrong with anything you order. Im a fan of thr bacon wrapped shrimp fajitas. Also love the al pastor tacos. And the ginger fish tacos are so delicious! Its always packed and full of energy anytime Im there. Love this local spot!
I ordered the impossible tacos without cheese and they brought it out with cheese on it. The waiter immediately corrected it, the manager came out and said they were working on Fresh tacos. I can't have dairy. So they were nice enough to remake them not just try and take off the cheese. Which I appreciate it. Then the waiter informed me that if I wanted a free drink or dessert or something I appreciated the gesture but I didn't need anything else. When I went to the restroom and came right back someone was cleaning off the table even though I wasn't quite finished yet LOL but I was full and that was perfectly fine but then they exceeded my expectations even more and comped my meal and then gave me tacos and chips to take home! I have not had good service at a restaurant in so long it seems foreign. I am so used to orders being wrong and no attempts made to correct it by staff or management that I am so impressed I had to leave a review. Customer service is dead these days and it's nice to see that a few people still understand its value. I will definitely be back
Always enjoy this location and have been going over the last decade. Service is always great, the margaritas are incredible (only wish they offered caronaritas). The goose eggs are my absolute favorite appetizer and a fun twist on a fried jalapeño popper. The rice is fluffy, tortillas are made fresh in house. The fajita chicken salad is perfect and refreshing. They also offer a house extra spicy hot sauce with a Smoky flavor. Pricing is very reasonable with lunch specials and happy hours. Overall one of the best Tex-mex style restaurants in Plano.
👌🏼The Topolo combo w/ verde enchilada, sour cream enchilada, & pork tamale was amazing! Their side salad was fresh and the red pepper vinaigrette was flavorful. My favorites though were their charro beans - sooo good, and their fresh salsa - best I’ve had in a long time.
One of the few restaurants open late night on a Monday. Service was still nice and quick, food was delicious. Recommend the bacon wrapped shrimp, well prepared!
This was my first time trying Tex-Mex food, and honestly, it was spectacular. I loved this place. I was a little skeptical of this type of restaurant, but what better way to change my mind than with an invitation from some friends. From the moment I arrived, I smelled the familiar scents of Mexico: freshly handmade corn and flour tortillas, salsas in small molcajetes, and finally, the main dishes. Honestly, I didn't take many photos because I was fascinated by the food and, of course, the company. Thanks to the Blue Goose Cantina staff for the concept. It's phenomenal.
We had a wonderful experience here! I didn't get a picture of everything we ordered but we got an order of Queso & each got the Dirty Bob Burrito smothered in queso. Incredible meal & incredible service. We were sat in a high-top near the bar & out waitress was wonderful & attentive (unfortunately I don't recall her name). We will be back!

Overall, very satisfied with my visit. I went around 2pm, so it was a little busy. I was seated promptly and was immediately brought chips and salsa. The drink special that day was their Rock margarita for $2. Seriously cannot beat that as far as pricing. I got the frozen margarita and on the rocks and both were delicious and strong. For food I got their Lunch special (which they have a really long lunch hour, from 11am-4pm). The Topolo combo I chose was Pick 2 (beef enchilada and taco dorado) and they were good. I would recommend you try this place out, killer drink specials and decent food. Customer service was top notch and everyone was very friendly.
I first visited Blue Goose in Plano years back, almost 2 decades ago. I liked it back then but did not return. I don’t know why. Based on multiple positive reviews, I decided to visit a second time. We had to take our food to go but I’d like to return and eat in. The restaurant looks really fun and the employees are super nice. I picked up on a Sunday. My order was ready early. Other customers were coming in to sit in the bar and watch the Cowboys game. We ordered a chicken fajita salad, a beef fajita salad, and slow-roasted brisket tacos. Our order came with a bag of tortilla chips and three containers of salsa. Everything was very good. Highly recommend!
This may be becoming our favorite Mexican restraint. The staff at this one is extremely friendly and helpful. Drinks don't go empty even on the busiest of days. The food is good was well, great flavor, lots of choices. Love the chips. Everything tasted so good. If you haven't tried this place out, it is time for you to go in. I love this place.
We had a pleasant dinner here at the Plano location. While we miss the Greenville Ave location but this is better, both because it's close now that we've moved and also the parking and access is better. The food and staff were great. The patio was nice and comfortable.

Service was excellent, and the inside of the restaurant is super cute! We were seated right away for a group of three, even though it was a bit busy. Chips were crisp and the salsa was mild and very fresh. Had two house margaritas, that were very reasonably priced and only lightly sweet-which is just how I like them. I ordered the Verde Enchiladas, and my only complaint would be that they didn’t have enough of the verde sauce so it was a little dry. Charro beans and rice were also very delicious.

If you're looking for a good place to eat at Park and Preston this is a solid choice. Go for the Goose Eggs, jalapeño chicken and cheese. Avoid Snuffers, go with the Mexican.

Just went to BG today for lunch. My family goes here at least once a month, and if we have guests from out of town, this is where we take them. We love the food, service is usually quite good and we always enjoy the experience. Today however the salsa served at our table was exceedingly hot. Like make me gasp for air hot, throat-closingly hot. I have eaten there often enough to understand that the spice level can vary because it’s made fresh, and it’s been quite hot before, but the heat was never enough to make me cry. It did today. I was almost unable to breathe for a sec, I was scared cause this has never happened to me before and it was awful. So I let our server know and here is my problem…the very nice manager came out and said that sometimes the salsa is just hotter. This was not just hotter, it could be dangerous for some people, and that not acceptable. If a food establishment knows that a food item has physically affected a customer negatively, for any reason just saying oh so very sorry BUT we are going to just serve it all day anyways seems wrong. Blue Goose is not the place you go to challenge your life with exotic salsas. I’m an average middle aged female who likes hot honey, and I like spice. The salsa today was filled with jalapeños and the absolute hottest it’s ever been in the 5 years we’ve been going here monthly. If Blue Goose is unable to have better quality control on its salsa…and show no concern about possibly injuring their guests, it may no longer be a restaurant we go to, which is actually a bummer. Quality and consistency controls should be followed for a reason. L. Henderson
