Great experience. My first time here. The pizza had a nice crisp crust and you could taste the fresh ingredients. We sat in the bar area and our waiter was so attentive and knowledgeable. We came at a good time. He was able to let us taste some of the multiple beers on tap to make sure we made a good selection. We got the stuffed mushrooms, yummy. We tried the cheese bread also was wonderful with the warm marinara sauce for dipping. We tried 2 different pizzas that were both just as good. Nice to have a variety. We will be back.

⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Friday night dinner at Taverna Rossa in Plano was the perfect way to kick off the weekend! I had the grilled cheese with pepperoni—crispy, golden bread loaded with gooey cheese and just the right amount of zesty pepperoni. It came with a bowl of rich, spicy tomato basil soup topped with shaved parmesan and fresh basil. I paired it with a cold Hefeweizen, and it all hit the spot. The place had a great vibe with live music playing and friendly, attentive service. Cozy, casual, and delicious—can’t wait to come back!

I love trying new restaurants, and I came across this place through an Instagram reel. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, which is great when it’s not too hot in Dallas. We checked in at the front desk to get our name on the list. Since we went during peak hours, they told us there might be a 15 to 30 minute wait, which was fine. We were seated in under 15 minutes! Our server was super friendly. Since it was our first time there, we asked for recommendations, and she suggested the Pink Piggy and the Bees Knees pizzas. They didn’t take long at all to come out, and both were a hit! I also noticed they have Happy Hour Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 p.m., definitely something I’d come back for. On Friday night, they had live music, which added a nice touch. Even with the music, we were able to have a conversation during dinner, and overall, the place had a great vibe.

Great place, the atmosphere is inviting and relaxed. Great decoration and the patio make you feel like you are not in the city. The value equation is unparalleled. All the staff is nice and willing to walk the extra mile, from the hostess who found us a table in the patio to the waitress who was helpful. Definitely, we will come back!

Excellent service! They offer a dedicated gluten-free menu with customizable options, making it easy to find something that suits your needs. We ordered the gluten-free vegan pizza, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were spot on, and the texture was perfect. The portion size was just right for the price—great value for money!

Good food for a good price. Cheesy bread was much larger than I expected and a good starter. Server saw us deliberating over which pie to order and allowed us the option to do a half and half so we could try multiple. Ended up with the Pink Piggy and the Bees Knees; the use of honey for both pizzas was a really unique choice that brought a nice contrast to a regular pizza.

Taverna Rossa - Plano Overall: 3.5 Stars (Rounded to 4 for the team) I have to start with a disclaimer: my heart belongs to Neapolitan pizza. That specific airy, fluffy dough is what childhood memories are made of for me. I am well aware Taverna Rossa does not claim to be a Neapolitan spot, but that is the benchmark I use for a 5 star experience. The pizza here is a standard American thin crust. It is crispy, but it lacks that perfect combination of airiness and crunch that makes a dough truly memorable. I have had similar goat cheese and fig pizzas at other non-Neapolitan spots across the country that were significantly better than this one. My pizza arrived almost at room temperature, but I will take the hit for that one. I chose to sit at the bar and I know those bartenders are running a marathon back there. Having worked behind a bar myself during my college years, I have nothing but respect for the hustle. The service was actually great and the staff were very nice. At the end of the day, it is a good pizza with fancy ingredients, but the soul of the dough just was not there for me. 4 stars for the service, 3 stars for the pizza.

First time back in probably 12 years. Came for happy hour. Our server was nice and attentive. Ordered the pizza, pretzel, penne pasta and deviled eggs. Pizza, pretzel and penne were good. Deviled eggs were just ok. Drinks were tasty. I would come back to eat their pizza. Nice and large place for a large group.

I ordered: • A nice plentiful bowl of salad (not pictured) - Farmhouse Salad and added feta • Individual-sized pizza— Enough for leftovers and the crust is thin and crispy— Luscher Supreme and added fresh jalapeños. It’s bigger than the picture appears. ********************** • Blueberry Lemon Martini was delicious and not too sweet (not pictured) • Buffalo Shrimp- too soggy to me- the shrimp was plump and Buffalo flavor was good— they’ve should’ve just drizzled it with the Buffalo and ranch instead. Service was friendly— could be a tad quicker.

A nice casual pizza joint with lively atmosphere . The place is actually huge and has patio and indoor seating. The mac and cheese is actually better than pizza and has a nice cheese crust on the top. There are limited vegetarian options but overall is a nice date place. The service is pretty slow during the rush hour for dinner ( we went over the holidays during Christmas so I give them a benefit of doubt).

Artisan Pizza in a big beer hall. Perfect for a family and friends hang out. Noisy, crowded, a fun place to be. A true Texas vibe. It is hotter than hell today. I got lucky, A parking spot right up front. know what I want before we even get seated. On the sandwich board out front, a special, “Green Chili Smoked Brisket Pizza.” How Texas is that? That may not meet the proper definition of a pizza. I ain’t passing that up. Inside busy. A few minutes to wait and we were seated in the bar area. We started the meal with a big Warm Taverna Pretzel, while our Pink Piggy and Green Chili Smoked Brisket pizzas took a ride through the oven. That pretzel is good. Spicey mustard perfect. Queso meh, pass on that next time. A little wait time and the pizzas arrived. Check the pictures. My wife and daughter loved the Pink Piggy. I couldn’t adapt to the Rosemary Honey Butter. Sweet on pizza just doesn’t seem right. The Green Chili Smoked Brisket Pizza met my expectations. An unusual smokey spicey Texas pizza oddity. I liked it! The service was a little slow but adequate. The bar tender was also our server. He was loaded up keeping the beer flowing.

We had our group party here. The ambience was amazing! The atmosphere was festive and they have a great view. The food was great. This was my first visit. I will definitely be going there again to taste other options from their menu. Update: I enjoyed dinner here with my friends. The food was awesome and the service was great!
