Opinions de Eddy's Pizza Plano
Kathleen is such a sweetheart! Absolutely the best server I've had since the pandemic. Super helpful and answered all my questions about menu options. And she was super sweet to my two handful sons! Food was delicious you can't go wrong!
We love Eddys Pizza, it's the only one my husband eats and enjoys!!! The pizza is great, always hot and delicious! When we dine in they're super nice, friendly, fast serving, and inviting.
We went here after watching "A man named Otto" at the local theater. The food could not have been any better. We started with Garlic Knots/Bread and it was perfect. I couldn't wait for the next course. I got Stromboli and it did not disappoint. I could not finish it and took it home for an evening meal.. Everyone's food was the right temperature, the perfect cook, and everyone had to take at least half of their meals home.
Best pizza we’ve found in TX since moving here in 2018!! Wish we lived closer to this place.
Literally one of the best Italian places I've eaten out in a long time. Great pizza and pasta too! I tried both.
First time dining at Eddy’s, can’t believe I’ve lived in Plano so long and have never been. Service was excellent, house dressing is amazing, and pizza was delicious. BYOB a huge plus! Will be back for sure!
Came to eat here after back to school shopping with my sister. And it was so good! I ordered the Stromboli and she had the lasagna it was the best! I will definitely be coming back. Service was awesome as well.
The food at Eddy's is fantastic and the portions are huge. On my last trip I had Chicken Parmesan and I'll get three meals out of it. Everyone in my family loves Eddy's pizzas too. Eddy's has dine in service and the tables are well spaced for safe seating. This isn't a chain so now is a great time to support a neighborhood style restaurant with fantastic food and service.
Food was what we ordered. It tasted like it usually tastes. It was brought to the table quickly, very quickly considering that the place was full. The waitstaff kept our glasses full. We ate and talked, and generally enjoyed our time there. The food is always good and everyone is pleasant.
My husband and I have been going to Eddy's since they opened. The staff is wonderful and the owner and his wife are so kind and gracious. The food is excellent. The eggplant, Eddy's special, Lasagna, pasta dishes and chicken dishes are all very good. The pizza is the bomb--New York style. I would recommend Eddy's to everyone. We love it!!!
Authentic family owned Italian place. Been dining here for over 10 yrs but sadly I haved moved to WA. Will really miss my favorite Stromboli & the comfy homey atmosphere!
Seat yourself when you enter and wait to be served. I love the pizza rolls. Been a loyal customer since they opened on day one. Bring your own wine. Another good Italian restaurant is Luigi's in Rockwall run by Mario. Ironically the owner of Eddie's is named Luigi. Perhaps Mario and Luigi will meet one of the day's since there local rival's.
Hidden gem ! Great food. The location is not on my beaten path BUT I will certainly have this place on my radar moving forward !!!
Fabulous Italian Food. Entrees are all exceptional. Quantities are more than most can eat. Prices are super. The staff is very friendly and efficient. We have been going there for two years on a regular basis. Atmosphere is pleasant. AND you can bring your own wine!!!
I ordered a large pan of lasagna, large pan of fettuccini alfredo, tossed salad and Eddy's delicious rolls for a family celebration last weekend. It was DELICIOUS! Mikey and Luigi are fantastic and will make sure your catering order is made and ready when you need. Eddy's red sauce is the best!! Next time you are hosting an event........skip making it yourself and call Eddy's!
I will definitely be revisiting Eddy's in the near future. I walked in to order food to go. As this was my first visit, the gentleman at the front was super helpful in his recommendations. Ultimately, I ordered a white pizza and lobster ravioli. The pizza was super tasty. I find most cheese pizzas greasy, but this cheese combo of mozzarella, parmesan, ricotta, and feta was perfect. The ravioli filling was flavorful, and the sauce more so; it had chunks of mushrooms and substance. I'm excited to go back and try more on the menu, including dessert, which I imagine it's great as the guy behind me seemed like a regular and just took home dessert for his wife. That's gotta say something right?!
Found this gem on Google when hunting for an Italian restaurant that isn't Olive Garden or Carrabba's... and Eddy's didn't disappoint! They have a very wide array of menu items and for the pizza / pasta that we had, it was all exceptional! The service was great and the staff was super friendly! I highly recommend you give this restaurant a try the next time you crave Italian!
So great! The food was awesome and the staff was even better. We were a large group eating and playing games, and our waiter was amazing. At the end of the evening, he watched us finish our game, and showed genuine interest in what we were playing. I have already told friends we need to go back to eat, wonderful food and amazing service!
Eddies is a local gem, excellent New York style pizza at a reasonable price. The rest of the menu is delicious as well - always see a lot of local traffic in there when we order carry out. Staff is friendly and work hard to make sure things are done right.
Pastas and salads are the way to go. Good people run the place. They can seem a little unfriendly at first but their service is excellent.
I am a pizza snob. I stopped in for a slice and had one of the best slices I can remember. The slices aren't sitting out to be re-heated, each slice is made fresh and the amount of cheese is not skimpy. I don't leave reviews (ever), especially for a slice of pizza, this slice was that good.
Got a small build your own 5 toppings pizza. Crust had a great crunch. I had extra cheese as a topping, and it had lots of cheese. The toppings were also almost to the edge, which i liked. Want to try again to get a better flavor for the sauce and maybe some of the other items. It's definitely one of the better pizza places in Plano.
Love the lasagna! This place is always delicious and the prices are reasonable. I have eaten in this restaurant and carried out orders as well for many years and always consistently good!!!
Just ordered the 16" Supreme and was very satisfied. The ingredients were plentiful and fresh. One of the best I have had in a long time. Their 16" seemed as large as the competitors 18".
This place is absolutely to die for! My family’s favorite pizza place. You can’t beat the quality & they have garlic & artichoke as toppings. So hard to find those toppings-the fried mushrooms are so delicious & if you dine in they offer garlic bread knots / bread it’s so fresh & delicious. They have a build your own 5 topping pizza no one can beat their price! The staff is always so sweet & polite. Only thing I don’t like is they use “the slice” for delivery. But I understand because all those guys 150% belong in the store making the best pizza ever!!! I support this small business as often as possible. The cheese is so flavorful too, I’ve never had a bad pizza from here. Thank you for all you do Eddy’s!!!
I just came in and ordered fried calamari and the lasagna and both was delicious! Staff there was on point and made sure my glass was taken care of. My first time eating at the restaurant but gotten food from here three times before and I’ve never been disappointed. Which is why I tipped them half of my bill! I will keep coming back! Thank you!
We started out with fried mushroom. Very large serving and really great, hot and tasty. I had spaghetti and meatsauce and side of sausage, my husband had a cold sub. all the food was great, service was great. Plenty to bring home for leftovers! they are consistently good and we will be back for sure!!
The food was great and tasty. The service was wonderful and they gave perfect service. The atmosphere is relaxing and chill. I will definitely go there again!!!
Eddy’s Pizza on 15th St in Plano is a hidden gem for pizza enthusiasts. I used to live in Plano and now moved to Frisco;however, I still drive to eat at this restaurant that feels welcoming and food taste great. Their brick oven pizzas are a delight, offering a taste that feels authentic and reminiscent of Italy. What sets them apart is the freshness of their ingredients, giving each slice a burst of flavor. Not only is the pizza top-notch, but it’s also surprisingly affordable, making it a go-to spot for a satisfying meal that won’t break the bank. Dining at Eddy’s Pizza is like taking a culinary journey to Italy without leaving Plano, and that’s an experience worth savoring again and again. Too bad I didn't take pictures on my food, btw you can customize your pizza without an extra charge.
We picked up food from here for lunch today. It was our first time and we were not disappointed. The pizza tasted really good and fresh. The crust was light and airy. It had a great taste as well. We got two different kinds and they were both cooked perfectly. No complaints. We also got a side of meatballs. They were sweet and tasted delicious. I'm usually not a fan of meatballs we got them for my husband, but they were incredible! I also ordered shrimp fettuccine alfredo. The sauce was delicious, the noodles cooked perfectly. The shrimp did have a really strong seafood smell so I was a little worried but it tasted fresh and was really good. I highly recommend this place.
This is a WONDERFUL place for groups. The food is good, and the background music does not overpower the conversation.
Update: visited again recently and pizza was excellent, customer service was friendly and welcoming, and a lunch special included fantastic garlic bread. One of the best pizza’s I’ve tasted in Texas. Very good pizza. Waiter seemed a bit stressed and unwelcoming though, never cracking even the smallest smile. Nice inside.
Fantastic NY style pizza. We always get pizza from here when we go to Plano. The white pizza is a nice treat you don't see from many places either. Everything we have ever ordered here has wonderful.
I've never been disappointed, the pizza has always been amazing, and if you're on a diet this is the pizza you want for a cheat day, service is always good, very friendly and attentive. It's BYOB, and it’s a little weird to see that but I do get why that’s the case. 10/10 the best pizza in Plano and a great place for a family dinner!
Great Italian place. They have these wonderful complimentary garlic knot rolls. They earn all 5 stars just for this. It's always packed and they have a constant stream of take out orders leaving. Pizza is good and toppings are plentiful, but my favorite is the stromboli. It's huge and yummy. My wife does not care for their salads as they are all iceberg lettuce.
Met a friend for lunch and got the lunch lasagna. It was one of the best lasagnas I’ve ever had. Good portions for the price. I got the impression that they have a steady crowd of loyal customers because the waiter seemed to know a lot of them. Would def recommend!
Delicious calzone, the Ceasar dressing is delicious and made there, you can purchase it in a tub to take home.
great as always food never fails to deliver and they make you feel very welcome been coming here since the place opened it's doors its become our once or twice a week stop lunch or dinner always recommending it and good a big thank you from friends and family for recommending the place
I’ve been enjoying the pasta, pizza, and excellent salads at Eddy’s Pizza for several years, and everything is always fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Eddy doesn’t just serve food; he serves soul in every dish. The staff is incredibly professional and welcoming, always providing excellent service with a warm touch. The place is always very clean and pleasant, adding to the wonderful experience. Every visit is a fantastic culinary experience, and I highly recommend this place!
We stopped here by chance because the pizza place we wanted to try was closed. Wow, we were not disappointed. Thr ouzza was great as well as linguine in clsm sauce, lobster ravioli and the fettuccine Alfredo. It was all delicious and super nice waiter. It was a good mother's day.
Chicken parmigiana and spaghetti are great. The pizzas are huge and tasty. Best tasting rolls around. Service is fantastic. I make it my last stop for dinner on the way home because I'm too full to do anything else afterwards.
Sitting at my table now and writing this. I am VERY picky about my pizzas. I ate three slices here. That’s rare. The bread is delicious and their pizza, pasta, and salads are all INCREDIBLE. 10/10. I have never ate an entire slice of pizza until today. My new favorite spot for when I travel here to see family. 🩷🩷
I went to a birthday party here. The service was great.
Love Eddys. We had Supreme Pizza and Baked Ziti for entrees with tossed salad and house dressing. The house dressing is to die for, it's so yummy. The Baked Ziti is perfectly seasoned with just amount of sauce and cheese. The pizza is generously portioned. The prices are very reasonable. Service, like a fine dining. Bring your own drinks, meaning wine or whatever. Great job, ya'll !!
Amazing homemade pizza and Italian dinners and salads. We love Eddy’s at least a couple times a month!!
We love Eddy’s. Food is always on point and brought out promptly. My family of 8 gets a variety of pizza and pasta dishes and everyone is always satisfied. The bonus is always the rolls that they bring as we wait for the food. Today they were extra delicious with butter…So good!
Went here for a Birthday party. They had a nice size room to accommodate everyone. The food and service was excellent. Prices were fair for the amount given.
Eddy’s delivered a fantastic experience from the moment I sat down. The food was perfect — cooked just right, full of flavor, and served hot and fast. You can tell they take pride in what comes out of the kitchen. And those rolls they bring before the meal… easily one of the highlights. Soft, warm, and so good they almost feel dangerous. The service was solid throughout. Staff checked in often, kept drinks full, and made sure everything was on point without hovering. The place has a comfortable, welcoming vibe that makes the whole meal feel even better. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I won’t hesitate to recommend Eddy’s to anyone looking for great food, quick service, and an overall enjoyable dining experience.
What a wonderful find! The food is so good and well seasoned. The portions were so big and the pricing is SO reasonable. I appreciate a restaurant that prioritizes delicious food, good portions, great value for their customers and friendly staff. Will come back here time and again when I'm near!!!!
Stopped by this charming little spot on our way out to my son's hockey game in Plano. The pizzas are phenomenal to say the least. We had the Supreme, Spinach and Chicken and the White pizza. All three had the most amazing crust and the cheese was melted perfectly. I would come out of my way for this experience again. Seat yourself establishment with quick and friendly service. A for sure go to spot for locals as I saw several coming in to pick up orders. Check this place out!!
Wonderful Italian restaurant. Very generous portions with near perfect quality for surprisingly reasonable prices. The atmosphere inside is warm and welcoming and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Ive tried the spaghetti with meatballs in the past and found it to be incredible but today I tried two slices of the meat lovers pizza and I can't imagine anyone else creating a better pizza. I have frequented many Italian restaurants in the DFW area and I can easily say Eddy's is the best in all aspects. Side note: I find it funny there is a dominos pizza next door. Why pay $18+ for a small, greasy pizza when you can go to Eddy's and pay the same amount for a large, authentically made pizza? I definitely will be returning as this place is truly a gem.
Lovely place with amazing pasta. Their fettuccine Alfredo is my favorite- creamy and has a good consistency, and the flavor is delicious. Their bread rolls and garlic bread are also good. I also recommend the baked ziti and the chicken parmesan, you will not leave disappointed! Went around an hour before closing on a Friday night and our food was out within 10 minutes.. 10/10.
This is my favorite Italian joint in the east Plano area, very filling dishes. The service is top notch. They care about your experience and want you to enjoy your visit. Everything is made to order. So you’ll wait while they prepare different tasty menu options. Pizza is really outstanding. Freshest ingredients around. Looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes and different variations of my favorite pizzas. fountain soda bubbly and not flat. The cannoli is A1. The complementary bread is my garlic rolls part.
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant from the food to the outstanding customer service. I got the pizza supreme and cheesecake as a desert, both times were delicious and bigger than I thought! The medium pizza is enough to fill two people, so I will go for the small if you do not have a big appetite. Outside of the food, I just have to say that the customer service was exceptional from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. It is also very reasonable for what you get, I spend only $23 dollars on food with a beverage, medium sized pizza, bread and a desert! I definitely will return try out other menu items!
Never once have I had a less than fantastic experience. From the pizza to the lobster ravioli, they are masters. I've been in Texas for over 7 years and can say with confidence, this is the best Italian place I've found here. I finally saved enough room for desserts. So I'm editing my review to include more photos.
Their buttery fresh garlic knots keep me coming back although the kitchen looks dirty. I am not so sure about their standards for cleaning the place and whether the cooks are washing their hands and all equipment. Familiar American Italian food. Flavors are bland and appeals to a large audience. Comfort food at cheap prices. Lunch specials are very affordable.
Some of the best pizza i have had in a while. Loved their Supreme pizza with everything on it. It must be good as busy as it was Friday night. Seems like a lot of people may come because it BYOB. They do not sell any alcohol it's BYOB.
What a lovely surprise! Stopped in recently one night for a late night bite to eat and they were one of few still open. We were treated so nicely and the food was very good. Marsella waited on us and couldn't have been nicer. Eddie, the owner, served up some delicious food. We enjoyed it so much we took our grandkids back a few days later for dinner and then went again last night. We enjoyed some yummy leftovers for lunch today. Nice, friendly, casual atmosphere with good basic food at reasonable prices. We will definitely go back!
Don't get me wrong.. I love Eddy's pasta dishes... However when I phoned in an order for pickup I had asked for Penne with sauce and a bit of sausage... It came with spaghetti noodles... I still ate it because like my nephew says "Pasta is Pasta"... Will try for Penne again in a few weeks...
Great pizza and other plates as well. All are reasonably priced. They are always willing to satisfy any requests. The servers are all very glad to help. Also, it is BYOB
Came here by mistake because I thought it was a different place but my wife and I decided to stay. I grabbed a few slices of pizza and my wife got some chicken pasta and we both really enjoyed it. The greeter and server were both awesome and overall was comfortable while there. I'm sure we'll try some other things next go round because we were checking out all types of things coming out the kitchen and going to other tables
We have only had the pizza but it was awesome! I don't like cold pizza but I even eat their's cold if we have any leftover. Complimentary rolls are really good also. Not the friendliest for service, I've never seen anyone smile:( Great piped in music and cozy inside!
First time to eat here. I was with a group from church and there was quite the variety ordered. Everyone seemed to like the food very well. I got a small Meat Lovers NY style. It was excellent. The only mild complaint was the waiter. It seemed he was slow to get back to our table and they put everyone's order on one ticket and had us go to the register to separate the ticket with the cashier. That's the only thing. I recommend giving it a try. Seemed to have great selection on their menu.
We stopped in late one evening for dinner. The restaurant was not crowded, and the staff brought us our drinks promptly. The pizza was excellent and enough for us to take home half. We arrived only 30 minutes before closing, but the staff was very relaxed and not rushing anyone out.I would recommend it to anyone.
I loved this place. They have really great pasta dishes. Their pizza is good too. I came here for a different times with a friend while I was visiting the Plano area I just couldn't get enough of a good thing. Keep up the great work!
This review is for pizza by the slice only. Negatives: Way too floppy, a little too much cheese. Not enough side crust. Odd flavor overall. Positives: pizza is nice and thin. Crust has good flavor but dough seems a little over worked as its a bit chewy. Nice interior for sit down.
About $18 for a small pizza. Not exactly the best pizza I’ve had. I’m not rating it based on service but of the pizza itself. The pizza is super cheesy and I mean mostly just cheese. Balance? Yeah, not here. The only tomato sauce that they put is on the border of the pizza. It sucks because I am a tomato guy and there’s really none to taste but cheese, bread, and toppings. If you like mainly cheese well have it!
This is my second time at this location. I went to eat here last night and ordered the lasagna and pizza. They forgot the bacon on the pizza and the waiter was kinda rude when asked for it. To me it seemed like he didn't care much to be waiting on tables that night. The pizza was good the lasagna was just ok. The prices are good for the meals though.
I love to try new pizza and pancake spots. This place has great reviews, so I couldn’t wait to try it. Ordering and picking up was easy. Just hate to say, again wasn’t a fan of this pizza. Something about their cheese is very different, and I didn’t like it at all. Others may love it, but no. Something was different. Crust was ok. Overall another ok pizza. Still try it, you may like it.
I ordered through UberEats. I got the chicken alfredo, baked ziti, garlic bread, and ceasar salad. The appearance of everything is good and makes it look appetizing. The salad was way overpriced ($10) for what you get, which is croutons, lettuce, a little cheese, and an oddly sweet dressing. Some of the lettuce was also starting to brown. The garlic bread is alright, but I taste more of the oregano on top than I do garlic. The chicken alfredo was disappointing. It was watery and lacked flavor, so much so I had to add in my own seasonings from my pantry. The baked ziti also lacked flavor, and I, once again, had to add my own seasoning. I'd say the best part of everything was the complimentary rolls they give you. Overall, I tried something new, and it wasn't really worth it.
The food is fine, no complaints there. The problem is that they don't have Napkin Dispensers, and with all the butter, cheese, and sauce you'll be dealing with here, you'll need many napkins. The only napkin they provide is the one included with Silverware, and the last two times I went I had to request Silverware even though they brought Rolls to me first, which still had to be buttered. Were they expecting me to butter them with my fingers? I'd at least need some napkins to pull that off.
The Pizza is always good. Probably 4 or 5 star. The waiter is very nice and attentive. The last 3 visits the young girl waitress has been acting rude. Never cracks a smile. Never eye contact with the customers when asking questions. Tonight after we sat down, she came and asked us to move to another table without saying why. We had to drag it out of her that she wants to close that area we were sitting. She acts as if she doesn't want to be there and the customers are just there to waste her time. She is short with answers and gives one word answers. Will probably go somewhere else because of her next time.
Sorry for this review. But it is what it is. I bought Fried Calamari and chicken and spinach Alfredo Pizza. Calamari is not at all fresh. It is salty and didn’t even cook properly. Frozen food could have tasted much better. Pizza is underdone and its ver soggy. Never going to order from this again.
The guy at the cashier with the unruly grey hair was very rude. He had an attitude over the phone when I ordered the pizza and he threw my card at me when I paid. I would never come back here again if they have this kind of attitude. Also, the supreme pizza and mozzarella sticks were mediocre and appealing. Sam’s Club serves better pizza for a third of the price.
I have been a long time customer. It used to be a gem. They have no prices on menu board so they can charge whatever they want. Lasagnas very little meat on layers. They use an over abundance of a cheese like substance to hide the fact there is little actual lasagna. I used to buy pizza by the slice. They have reduced size, quality and structure of pizza while doubling price. The base crust, including cheese and sauce layer is about an 1/8". Toppings are sparce. Each slice has an inch border from back to front that will have no ingredients that u requested thus reducing toppings by another 14%. U cant reduce size, quality and composition while doubling price. Consumers want a value. At least I do. (My orders are to go) u 9
I order pizza and wings for my family first I asked for crispy wings they came out RAW when I called they said I had to come in when I order from Uber eats because my boyfriend took the car I put them in the microwave to find this in hair something it looks like hair to me FRIED into my chicken wing gross
