Fast casual dining experience with plenty of healthy options. We got our toddler a Kids meal and 2 glasses of wine and a hummus appetizer for us with our entrees. In a busy shopping center so plenty of other places to make this visit worthwhile on top of a real good menu.

We just had lunch here and WOW! What a great experience! There was a bit of a line as they were pretty busy. But, we didn't wait long to order and the guy that took our order was one of the friendliest people ever! I ordered the steak entree with sweet potatoes and brussels sprouts and my daughter ordered the chicken enchilada bowl. The food was amazing! My steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly, as we're the vegetables. There are no salt and pepper shakers on the tables because you don't need them. I usually bring some food home when I eat out, but not today. I ate everything!

The Chicken Yakisoba Noodles were hearty and filling, not overly sauced so the vegetables still had a present and crunchy flavor. The Steak Entree was nothing to write home about, but the side of Roasted Broccoli- woah. I could have eaten just a plate of the broccoli and walked out happy. The Sweet Potato Fries were an unexpected hit. They weren’t very crispy, but very tender with a good balance of sweet and salty. The Buttermilk Yogurt Ranch it was served with was SO good, I wanted to use it on all my food. Overall, this is a nice place to visit for some food that will make you feel good about yourself : )!

Flower Child is hands down one of my favorite spots, and it absolutely deserves five stars. The Flying Avocado Wrap is seriously the best wrap I’ve ever had at any restaurant — ever. It’s perfectly balanced, packed with flavor, and you can actually taste how fresh and clean the ingredients are. Every bite feels light but still super satisfying. The staff is usually super nice and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. The restaurant is clean, bright, and has a great vibe that makes you want to sit and enjoy your food. You can tell they care about quality, from the produce to the way everything is prepared. If you’re looking for something fresh, healthy, and genuinely delicious, Flower Child is the place. The Flying Avocado Wrap alone is worth coming back for. Easy five stars.

I had the enchiladas at Flower Child and they were absolutely delicious! The flavors were fresh and vibrant, with just the right amount of spice. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients, and the presentation was beautiful. The portion size was generous without being overwhelming, and it left me feeling satisfied but not heavy. The atmosphere was bright and welcoming, and the staff was attentive and friendly. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to for both the food and the positive vibes.

I have been to other locations where the portion size is quite small but this location really hits it in the middle. The staff is always friendly and the place is usually pretty clean for how busy they get. This is a good restaurant and run pretty well. I will definitely return

Staff is so sweet. Food is healthy AND delicious. This location was so pretty inside & outside. Seating could definitely be cleaner, but overall it was nice! I hadn’t eaten here in years because the one time I tried it was in Dallas, so when I saw one while I was shopping in Plano I had to get some and it did not disappoint all these years later lol. Please bring one to Allen/Mckinney! Would recommend the steak entree with broccoli and sweet potato fries, as well as the French dip!

The menu is very healthy and light. We tried the turkey avocado salad and the Mediterranean chicken kabob. Both were absolutely delicious. We highly recommend this spot!!

Incredible food. Incredible health options. Here's the thing: you can eat healthy anywhere if you want to. But most places make you feel like you're punishing yourself. This place makes it easy. Menu's designed for every diet - vegan, keto, gluten-free, whatever you're doing. But it doesn't taste like cardboard virtue signaling. It tastes like actual food that happens to be good for you. Fresh ingredients. Real flavors. Portions that satisfy without making you hate yourself after. Let's keep it real though - if you eat too much of anything, it's not healthy. That's on you, not them. But they give you quality options that don't make eating well feel like a chore. Staff knows their stuff. They can guide you through modifications without acting like you're being difficult. This isn't about being perfect. It's about making better choices easier. Finally, a place that gets it: healthy food should taste good, not like punishment. Go. Your body will thank you. Your taste buds won't complain either.

Leaving a 5 star review because someone noticed our little boy and brought him a very sweet gift and it totally made his day. Totally unprompted and so incredibly kind of her to do so. I should have gotten her name but she had on a colorful bandana and a very caring smile! Food is also amazing as always. 5 star reviews I find are typically for above and beyond service or experience and she did just that today.

We had this catered for an event in Plano. This food is absolutely amazing! The chicken has a delicious marinade and so fresh! I loved the gluten free macaroni and cheese as well as the broccoli. Those were my favorites. I cannot wait to go there and try more!

Ate here twice this week and can’t wait to come back and try more menu items. Both the Mother Earth bowl and the Flying Avocado Wrap were very good. Others with me had the Chicken Enchiladas bowl and the Forbidden Rice bowl, and everyone was happy. Portions are just right for the price. Plenty of tables available on a Wednesday evening, but lunch on a Friday had every table (indoors and on the patio) occupied. Glad to see this great new addition to Plano doing well!

The flavors were perfectly balanced, with a wonderful mix of spices, fresh vegetables, and tender chicken. The quinoa was cooked to perfection, and the entire dish felt like a wholesome, healthy meal without sacrificing taste. The person at the counter was incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring my order was prepared exactly as I wanted. Their warm and welcoming demeanor made the experience even better. It’s clear that Flower Child places a high value on customer service, which is so refreshing. Additionally, the location is fantastic – conveniently situated right off Preston Road. It's easy to find and has ample parking, making it a breeze to stop by whether you're dining in or taking out. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is vibrant and inviting, with a fresh, clean aesthetic that makes you feel good about eating there. Overall, everything about my experience at Flower Child was great. From the friendly staff to the delicious food and the perfect location, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a healthy and tasty meal. I will definitely be returning soon!

Just met Flower Child's Executive Chef Ray (Plano). Very hospitanle. This location has such a vibe and the food us always so delicious and fresh. Few of my favs: brussel sprouts and organic kale salad with chicken, and mother earth bowl. For dessert, chocolate chip cookie and chocolare pudding.

One of the best healthy food places. Very tasty and savory. I will definitely go back to try new dishes. They also have proteins that you can add to any plate

A colleague recommended Flowerchild to me two years ago and touted how healthy it was which made me balk at the idea of stepping foot in any of their establishment. When I think of healthy, I think bland and not substantial enough to be satisfying… but I am so wrong. The food here is bursting with flavor and is enough to satiate me and my spouse’s appetite.

We went today for the first time today.. we each had a chicken entree with 2 sides. The food was exceptionally tasty!! The service was top notch.. our server super kind and pleasant.. restaurant and restrooms were spotless. Great experience!! We will return and often. .

Enchiladas are to die for!!! Can’t stop ordering them, hopefully I will try something new. My wife likes to order the salmon and Mac cheese bowl, never has any complaints. Service is awesome too!

I come here all the time and always have the best experience but one in particular with Onaeida and Renata! I ordered a pick up order to the wrong location and they took care of the entire thing and were SO kind about it. They had the best customer service and will continue to come back because of them! So good! We popped in because we were close by and wanted lunch. What a great surprise, very tasty food and healthy. I especially liked how someone met us in line and went and got us a table in the crowded restaurant - made that whole awkward “I just got my meal and now I have to find a place to sit” so much easier.

If you want a healthy option for lunch this place is great. I get the salmon entree with 2 sides. I like the watermelon, tomato side and the sweet potato side.

This is my second time coming here. The food is not your typical heavily seasoned dishes loaded with who knows what. They use combinations of flavors to create tasty dishes. I had the mother earth. It's a dish with arugula, sweet potatoes with a chili sauce, mint chimichurri, and sauteed mushrooms and onions with a bed of couscous. You pick your protein and they have tofu for vegans v Everything here is natural or organic. Vegan, gluten, and vegetarian is clearly marked on the menu so they're no surprises. Definitely recommend if you're craving something hearty and healthy this is it.

Amazing food, good portions and good price. This is a unique establishment with some of the healthiest options I’ve ever seen and super fresh with a unique twist. I wish this place continues to grow and expand and become a national chain so I can enjoy it in my home town. Everyone should have an option like this. Everything was perfect about the place. If there is anything I have learned about Flower Child, it is that they are remarkably consistent across locations. I have dined at their locations in Fort Worth, Addison, Oklahoma City, and now Plano, and I know I can count on them to be just as good at one as all the others. A recent Friday found Youngest Daughter and me out for some shopping in Plano, but, first things first, we started with lunch. She went with the Chicken Yakisoba Noodles, with grilled chicken as her protein. I went with the Cauliflower Risotto and Red Chile Glazed Sweet Potato, with tofu as my protein. Two thumbs up from each of us, as the food was excellent and in just the right amounts, not leaving us hungry or stuffed. One of the best parts about Flower Mound, though, is that so many menu items can be combined in thousands of different ways with a variety of protein options. Why, it’s almost like ordering hash browns at a certain southern chain restaurant, except that the food here is much better. In the Entrees menu section alone, there are 660 ways to pick one of five proteins, and then two of the 12 side choices. You could keep coming back for a long time before you ever slipped into reruns. We dined outdoors on the patio, since it was a rare September day not above 90. Service was fast and courteous, in spite of a growing lunch hour crowd. I’ll be back to a Flower Child for sure, wherever I may find them. This is one chain of which I am happy to call myself a repeat offender.

This place is such a blessing. Super delicious healthy food. I got an avocado toast and a vegetable salad. The salad is incredibly fresh and crunchy. It has carrots and radishes, my favorite. Avocado toast is slightly too salty but nevertheless delicious. They have teas, water, beer, wine. Staff is kind and friendly. This is a “feel good” place with large windows . The only negative there was a loud employee in the kitchen whose voice carried : one phrase I heard clearly “one meal per/ for employee” , but maybe he was just loud and not arguing, being in the front of the restaurant I couldn’t tell, but it got my attention and I had to look up to make sure that no one is fighting. Everyone and everything seemed to be all right. Maybe he runs his team “Gordon Ramsey” style :-)

My gal pal and I arrived a few minutes apart for a weekday 11:30a lunch. There are a few small benches in the lobby area to wait for your +1 or crew to arrive. Since this is a counter serve spot, it's easiest to all order together for the flow of the meal. They'll hand you a wooden tabletop number and a food runner brings the order to your table. Most tables are 2 tops. There are some 4 tops too. Maybe seats 60(?)... Beautiful lighting, comfortable noise level for conversations, and pleasant staff came around to remove plates when we were done. Menu has some incredible items, prepared perfectly. I had steak, spicy cauliflower, and gluten free mac. 10 out of 10. Will definitely go back!

This is a wonderful restaurant with healthy food! The salads are spectacular. Very busy and noisy because there are many visitors. The decor is lovely and priced accordingly. All the food looks great and the salads were quite filling and the teas are wonderful and sugar free!

This was my first time visiting and the atmosphere is refreshing. I enjoyed the chicken enchiladas and green Chile queso. I got the rose petal lemonade but it tasted like regular lemonade. I highly recommend eating in the patio, weather permitting. The cashiers seemed disinterested and preoccupied but the waiters were quick and attentive. I will definitely be visiting again soon to see what else their menu has to offer!

😲OMG !! 😊 It's totally amazing. we went for lunch, and my husband 😋 and I enjoyed 😉 wow! First, they have all the menu with a description of what exactly is in your food, second they have Gluten free 😀 which is awesome 👌 and finally really expensive but you can manage that and is worth it , environment is so pleasant, colorful inside, staff is friendly. So yes, if you want a good chinese cuisine vegan, gluten-free, organic 😋 this is the place, come and enjoy it!!

My friend introduced me to this place!! So good!! Followed her recommendations and favorites… got the ginger miso crunch salad (added chicken) which was excellent! Also got the steak entree with GF mac & cheese with the red-chili glazed sweet potatoes! Definitely sides that are a “must have” when here! Noodles were a little over cooked, however flavor 10/10. Will be back!

Wow! Really enjoyed this healthy bowl place. Got the Mediterranean chicken kabob and mother earth bowl with steak added. Both were super yummy and fresh! So many ingredients and steak was surprisingly cooked well. About $15 each, which I think is fair for what you get. We'll be coming back here often. Highly recommended!

I hate docking them a star for this because the food is perfectly fine if not spectacular (I had the bulgogi salad and it didn't quite pop the way I had hoped it would), the offerings are pretty healthy, and the ingredients seem sufficient quality, but compared to other fast-casual joints (compared to Cava or even Chipotle... oof), there isn't quite as much overall value. Prices are up everywhere. We know this, but it just means the food has to be THAT much better to make it seem like a fair deal.

The food was good...a lot of unusual combos and many items. I had a rice vegetable combo with chicken...great flavor! The amount of food for the price is another story...a bit meager. While the restaurant is has nice decor and is played out nicely...it's waaaaayy to loud as there is a speaker virually above every table.

My only complaint is the portions for catering seem huge for the number of people. I've ordered twice for 110-125 people and we had so much left both times. I don't want to spend more than I need to & I end up being over budget when I order according to the serving amounts.

Their vegan options are real tasty. I visited this place because of their vegan options and was not disappointed.

Food here is great - very fresh and flavorful, good portion sizes. Restaurant is beautiful. Be forewarned, the vibe is pretty snooty - some staff we interacted with reflected that same vibe. I would order there again, but definitely do takeout.

Food was great and accurate as I am picky about which veggies go into my plate. The food came out fast as well. Too cold inside, so we ate outdoors.

Food is great but the music in the dining room is too loud and makes the experience unenjoyable. When the weather is cooler, sitting on the patio is the best option. Please turn down the music!

Delicious!! First time here and definitely will be back. I had the chicken plate with mac & cheese, and broccoli. The flavor on everything was perfect! Only reason I gave 4 stars is because most of my broccoli was burnt. Not sure if it’s supposed to come like that but I did not eat much of it because of that. Other than that I enjoyed my meal and can’t wait to try other food on the menu!

I hate docking them a star for this because the food is perfectly fine if not spectacular (I had the bulgogi salad and it didn't quite pop the way I had hoped it would), the offerings are pretty healthy, and the ingredients seem sufficient quality, but compared to other fast-casual joints (compared to Cava or even Chipotle... oof), there isn't quite as much overall value. Prices are up everywhere. We know this, but it just means the food has to be THAT much better to make it seem like a fair deal.

I went here for the first time and got the steak entree with mashed potatoes and roasted broccoli. The food was good but I removed 1 star because my steak came out cold. I'm not sure if it's intended to be that way but would prefer my food to be warm. Other than that, everything was great. Amazing service and the white sangria was delicious.

Food is alright but an additional $6 for maybe 1/4 pound of tough/over cooked chicken breast is absolutely nuts. And yes, all 5 slices of chicken you can see it all the chicken I was provided. Edit: I got a Glow Bowl with chicken and it was much juicer this time.

My Mother Earth Bowl was not a full serving! I get this bowl every time I go to Flower Child on Belt Line and never had a complaint. However, here at the Plano location it’s disproportionate. Not thrilled about it. Good. Not a full serving. And with chicken and a drink added I fully expect it to be worth $22.89.

My daughter and I visited the Flower Child at the Plano Preston Rd. location today and as it has always been one of our favorite places was a disappointment. The food portion size has gotten much smaller for the same/higher price. My salmon may have been 2-3 oz at most, my chili glazed sweet potatoes were under cooked hard in a couple of pieces as I only got 5 small pieces and had very little if any sauce on them. The zuzu Brussel sprouts also had no sauce, very unflavored meal. Huge disappointment! The other issue was the restrooms as they are coed which the one I went in had the toilet seat up and urine on the floor. Why have coed restrooms when there are two? As a business owner of a large store I would want this feedback to improve and raise the bar, especially as it was high for Flower Child in years past. I will revisit this location to see if there is an improvement in the quality, please don’t disappoint for a second time.

Staff is reasonably helpful but does know enough about how the food is prepared and what allergens are in it. I had to ask a bunch of questions to make sure i could safely eat something and i had the feeling there was a certain degree of annoyance with my questions even though there was no one else in line and i wasn't holding up their operation. I was just trying to not get poisoned. Most people in food service offer to find out if they're not certain how to answer your question, this was not the case, just a bunch of assumptions. Assumptions are not very reassuring that I'll have a safe meal. So i opted for everything plain, which didn't make for a very exciting meal. There's no allergen labeling. Come on, at least the big two - gluten free and dairy free - should be marked. Food was decent but overpriced. For a health food restaurant you should care more about the health of your patrons.

We tried on Monday night for the first time and love the food . It was fresh and delicious and decided to have for lunch 2 days later and the food was awful and the Broccoli was robbery. Very disappointed.I gave 3 stars because the fist time for dinner was excellent.

Pretty disappointed...smashed potatoes was not smashed. They were mashed. I would have chosen something else. Roasted mixed vegetables were tough - not fully cooked.

Cute spot with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Ambiance is great. Good variety of beverage options. I had a bowl and it was very bland. I wasn't impressed. I have friends who love this place so it's possible I just ordered the wrong thing. May or may not try again.

We love ordering from here for the healthy choices, wide selection and good food. But just wish the portion sizes were fair. Today our bag of chips was maybe 1/5 of the way full and all crushed, and my husband got 10 total sweet potato fries.

I’ve been a long time fan of flower child & frequent the location on Cedars as well as Belt Line Rd in Addison. I was ecstatic once they opened a new location in Plano as it’s closer to home. A few days after opening, my husband & I picked up our order. Once we got home, his steak was not done fully & my shrimp was extremely burnt. I am a person of second chances, tonight, we ordered & spent no less than $60. My salmon was burnt & the portion was that a toddler could eat. I decided this would be my last time ordering from this location. It’s concerning to me that shrimp & salmon could be burnt which are both foods that take nothing to cook. Disappointed. 1/10. Would not recommend. If you want the real flower child experience, please visit one of the OG locations in Dallas.

Not impressed with this location. The person who took our order came over to our table as we were starting to eat and passive aggressively asked us what the problem was with our order after we sent a plate back that had the incorrect sides. We ordered certain sides and they must not have been inputted correctly in the system and we were made to feel at fault. Music was very loud and this was completely unappreciated. We have been dining at various locations in many states and aren’t going to be dining at the Plano location again any time soon.

I went here today and asked for a Mediterranean wrap. I specifically told that I don’t want cucumbers and if the entree had any in the recipe. I was told that there are no cucumbers and then after a long wait was delivered a wrap full of cucumbers. My body can’t digest cucumbers and this is supposed to be a health conscious restaurant and obviously no care or concern here. What answer the management has if they offered someone peanuts and they have peanut allergies. I am suffering now and posting this comment in middle of night.

I came here hungry, I left hungry. I ordered the Calabrian cauliflower with brown rice and a fountain drink. The total was $22 plus tip.There was nothing ‘Calabrian’ about this dish, it’s a few pieces of Cauliflower and what looked like a small dab of tahini with 5 shrimp. It wasn’t bad, but very underwhelming and basic. I’m still hungry! Won’t be back

Picked up take out. Had the Mother Earth Bowl and the avocado was hard as a rock; tofu was bland and just kind of grilled - not very tasty. The other ingredients were OK, nothing special. There are other places in the neighborhood that are similar as far as menu, but better as far as taste. In Texas, there is no reason to serve an unripe avocado!

Mother Earth bowl with steak & the Chicken Yakisoba are pretty good 👍 I asked the manager and unfortunately this restaurant is serving "Bioengineered ingredients", it is in their corn chips, I don't understand why they would serve bioengineered ingredients when NonGMO & Organic chips are so cheap today! This has reduced my trust level I want to cry, I can no longer recommend this restaurant until they commit to Non-GMO ingredients! I hope the owner reads this and one day soon makes changes to avoid these ingredients! Our friends, children and families deserve the best, please make the change & commit 🙏

I lost my appetite after seeing the restroom. Literally, urine on the wall, all over the toilet and seat, big puddles of it around the toilet and towels all over the floor from people trying not to swim in it. Since you can’t train people how to be decent humans, DON’T have unisex bathrooms!!! And, make sure someone sticks their head in every 30 minutes. I was able to pull up my jeans to my knees, but had to hose off my sandals outside and Clorox wipe them when I got home. Carpet in car is next 🤬

What’s the purpose of an online order shelf by the front door if you’re going to keep my to-go order behind the cash register? I waited for nearly 20 minutes by the front door before realizing my food had been getting cold behind the counter the entire time. Get rid of the online order shelf if you aren’t going to use it. It’s confusing for the customers.

17$? Really? Super unimpressed. We got take out for date night and this is what we found in the bag. The food is probably pretty good tasting, but the way they served it to us was REALLY disappointing. When I went in to pick it up I was told to go to the cart where I guess all the orders are … no problem but I wish I would have checked it before I left.

I tried the Yellowfin Tuna Poke Bowl, and at $20 it was hands down one of the worst bowls I’ve ever had. The rice was undercooked, there was maybe an ounce of tuna at best, and the portion overall was shockingly small. What makes this worse is that plenty of nearby poke spots serve fresher, fuller, and far more satisfying bowls at the same price point—or less. It feels like Flower Chile has completely lost its commitment to serving quality meals. Instead of improving, the food has become bland, skimpy, and careless. For a chain that once seemed promising, it’s disappointing to see them continue churning out such poorly executed dishes. At this point, it’s hard to justify ever coming back.

I have been a flower child ;child for 5 years now and never ever have I paid 20 dollars for 3 ounces of salmon . I will not be returning to the Plano location !

Food is good, but the service has gone seriously downhill. They forgot our order, then had a lot of attitude when we complained. Asked to see the manager and his attitude was even worse. It’s also way too cold inside and tables are either right by the door or in a high traffic area. I’ll drive to other Flower Child locations, thank you.
