You can tell she truly cares about her guests’ experience, and it shows in every interaction. The food and drinks were outstanding fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. If you’re in the Plano area, do yourself a favor and stop by Moxies and definitely ask for Maitri K. She’ll make your visit exceptional!

This restaurant offers a wonderfully elegant vibe, perfect for special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries. The atmosphere felt upscale yet welcoming, creating the right mood for a memorable celebration. It was impressive to see a full menu dedicated to vegan and vegetarian options, including a generous spread of appetizers, mains, and sides that truly catered to diverse tastes.During the 3-6 pm happy hour, we enjoyed our first visit and felt thoroughly cared for by Victoria, our attentive server, who made the experience smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. We tried the vegan popstickers (9/10), glazed Brussels sprouts (9/10), and vegan ramen (8/10) — all delivering excellent flavors and presentation. The desserts were equally delightful and a perfect way to end the meal.The only minor disappointment was the classic margarita, which could use some improvement to match the quality of the food and service. Speaking of service, it was flawless at 10/10, thanks to Victoria’s exceptional care. We were so impressed that we purchased a gift card along with an extra bonus, looking forward to our next visit.

I tried their happy hour when I was staying at the Sandman, the restaurant had a very modern and hip feel to it. The bartender was very good at keeping up a conversation and being friendly. I tried their potstickers and their happy hour white wine. Everything was very nice.

Miso ramen, pork belly, and another time with shrimp. Both times were fantastic. Deep flavor and fresh ingredients. Poutine, is the best. Steak frites. Vegan lettuce wrap. Every was so tasty, we keep coming back.

This place is delicious! I was reluctant to try the Bruschetta bc it wasn’t the typical but I was so glad I did. And lucky enough we got the same waitress as before, Ms Faith. As was before, she was very kind, attentive, & intentional with her service.

Beautiful restaurant tucked between two hotels in Northwest Plano. Went for DFW restaurant week and my birthday. Party of four received excellent service from the minute we walked in the door. A huge shoutout to Jax, our server. She explained the menu, gave excellent recommendation, and was just simply charming. Another shoutout to Chef Tony who served our toffee pudding dessert with style. I had the lettuce wraps, mahi mahi, and pudding. Servings were generous and tastefully presented. Espresso martini was a good start for the meal.

I took my sister here for her birthday and we loved it so much!! Our server, Maitri, was wonderful and made great suggestions on things we might like. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and chic. Those craft cocktails got us right for the night 🤣 The food was phenomenal!! I seriously wanna eat everything on the menu!

I don’t usually do brunch—maybe once in a blue moon—but this spot made the exception worth it. Parking is limited but manageable: about 4–5 reserved spots, plus valet and some street parking. Heads up—when it’s windy, they close the main restaurant door and you’ll need to enter through the hotel lobby. We arrived about an hour after opening, and it was still pretty quiet. We started with the crab dip and eggs Benedict—both were solid choices. The brunch menu has a good variety of breakfast staples, and the Bloody Marys? Sneaky dangerous. They go down easy and will catch up to you if you’re not careful. Unfortunately, the cappuccino machine was down during our visit, so I went with a regular coffee, which wasn’t great—I ended up switching to a Diet Coke. My friend, on the other hand, was loving the jalapeño margaritas and had five (yes, five) without missing a beat. We lingered into the afternoon, and by 4 PM the early dinner crowd started rolling in. It definitely turned into what I’d call sugar daddy central—entertaining to watch and a vibe of its own. Honestly, good for the young girls and the staff who keep things moving. Overall, a fun experience with good food, strong drinks, and a people-watching bonus.

The place is well decorated and looks like a great date night spot. The food was also pretty good and price wasn't bad at all, considering the ambiance. However, service here was terrible, especially the hostess who wasn't even at her station when we walked in and was nowhere to be found for over 10 minutes. When she finally showed up, there was no apology or explanation, and she simply directed us to our table. Similarly, the waitress didn't come by for quite some time nor did she bring waters until we had already ordered. After that, she was ok but wasn't exactly attentive after the orders were placed. This place could have been so much better, but their lack of service ruins any potential thought of coming back ever again or recommending to anyone.

Moxies is known for its chic, upscale atmosphere and premium pricing, which sets a high expectation for the entire dining experience. While the kitchen delivered very good food, the service had notable lapses. ​My Meal (Food was Very Good): ​Appetizer: Pot Stickers ​Entrée: Rigatoni Chicken Madeira ​Dessert: Toffee Pudding ​Constructive Critique of the Service: ​The service issues appeared to stem from an extremely busy bartender; she was hustling the entire time, likely resulting in the following: ​Attentiveness: Service felt slow. I was not checked on after receiving my appetizer or entrée. ​Beverage Service: After I finished my cocktail, I was not offered a second drink, requiring me to actively seek the bartender's attention. ​Inventory Issues: When I finally ordered a beer from the menu, I was told it, along with two other selections, was unavailable—a significant inconvenience for a restaurant with a dedicated bar program. ​End-of-Night Shortcuts: At 10:00 PM, an hour before closing, I was asked, "Are you done?" rather than being offered dessert or coffee. When I requested the Toffee Pudding and coffee, I was told coffee was unavailable because it was close to closing. Closing the coffee service so far ahead of the restaurant closing time is disappointing. ​Conclusion: The food quality is very good and satisfying. However, for a premium-priced establishment, consistency in service is critical. It would be beneficial for management to review staffing levels and training protocols to ensure the entire customer experience meets the high standard that Moxies’ reputation suggests.

We recently had dinner at Moxies and overall enjoyed the experience. For appetizers, we tried the chicken lettuce wraps and the French onion soup—both were delicious and a great start to the meal. For dinner, my wife had the shrimp tacos and really enjoyed them. I ordered the ribeye steak, which was fine, but I’d probably stick to a dedicated steakhouse when it comes to steak. The atmosphere was nice, and the service was attentive. Overall, Moxies is a solid spot for a night out, especially if you’re looking for good appetizers and a variety of options on the menu.

Hello Moxies. I'm leaving this review because I have to let everyone know about the service I rec'd from Victoria on Feb 28th for my son's birthday party of 8. She seemed annoyed to wait on our table. She never brought out refills for our drinks. My guest were very understanding but still frustrated with how long it took her to come and check on us. And the bad thing is the restaurant was empty on our side of the bar. The ONLY reason I didn't put a 1 star is because the vibe and the ambiance is nice. My salmon dish was amazing! But in saying that she was NOT a good server and on top of that she asked for my box that the cake was brought in to put it in back for me and When we wanted to box up the leftovers she said she didn't know what happened to it:(. Please remember that we have MANY choices to take our business elsewhere and spend our hard earned money especially in this climate. I also noticed that a 20% was added to each and everyone of out tickets which was fine if it was a great experience BUT it was NOT!!!!!. So I am not happy with how it all ended. WE will think twice before we decide to visit your establishment again....
