We had a great experience at Bubba Gump! The food was delicious, the ambience was fun and welcoming, and our server Rhonda was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond to accommodate us and made sure we had everything we needed. Her friendly and attentive service truly made our visit special. We left happy and will definitely be back! My wife and kids enjoyed our time here.

Well, the only thing I can say with a smile is that the food was really really good. For some reason people says that the food warms the soul, and that was our experiece. Specially is JADE is your waitress, she is very warm person, very attentively in your needs at the table. Suggestion for future customers, is you want to have a fantastic lunch, dinner, ask for JADE as your waitress. I can guarantee you that you will have a good experience.

We went before the Kemah boat parade, so we knew it may be crowded. The hosts and manager were friendly and welcoming. We were sat quickly, but had to ask for a server after waiting for what seemed to be awhile. I asked another server for help and lucky for us we got Jade as our server. She was quick, friendly, personable and made sure that we had everything we needed. All while taking care of her actual section on the other side of the restaurant. Jade or Ben found time to do some trivia with us. Jade absolutely made this a wonderful experience.

The food was awesome!! Me and my girlfriend went to Kemah for the first time for my birthday and we found this place. I loveee their Jenny’s Salmon and Shrimp. Our server Ashley did an awesome job with everything. Shes the best!! Definitely returning next time. I will gladly say its an honor to be here eating this yummy food near the docks. Great ambience!!

Made a reservation for a group of 23 ppl 2 hrs prior and Rhonda was very accommodating. Trinity was our waitress and she did an amazing job. Food and drinks were great. Overall service was excellent!

I had such an amazing waitress by the name of Jade. She was very professional and kind and accommodating. The moment we walked into the door of the restaurant everyone was very cordial and pleasant. I had my two autistic grandsons who were amazingly comfortable at the restaurant. Thank you Jade and the staff for making our visit Pleasant. We will come back to see you in Kemah.

We always have an amazing time at Bubba Gump! This is just one of the few restaurants we make sure to eat at when we visit for vacation! Delicious food, the atmosphere is great, and the service was great!

I had a great experience at Bubba Gump Shrimp! The atmosphere is fun and full of character—just like the movie. The staff was super friendly and attentive, and the food came out fast and fresh. I highly recommend the Shrimp New Orleans and the Coconut Shrimp—both were flavorful and cooked perfectly. The Forrest Gump trivia from the waitstaff added a unique and entertaining touch. Whether you’re a fan of the movie or just love good seafood, Bubba Gump is definitely worth a visit!

Great location. Beautiful view of Broadway. We came to enjoy the food based on a recommendation, but the Forest Go and Forest Stop system doesn’t work. We waited 20 minutes for drinks and almost 45 minutes for lunch. Their customer service needs improvement.

Had a good experience here this past Saturday! We came at 12:30pm for lunch and sat on the covered patio next to the water. Our waitress (Melissa I think) was great; very kind, attentive, and fun too. The seafood meals were tasty and the chicken sandwich was pretty good too; I just wish the fries it came with were better (less mushy) and came with a dipping sauce (like the aioli on the burger, which was great). The atmosphere was wonderful and I appreciated that they had a gift shop, since the main reason we came to Kemah this weekend was for this restaurant.

I gave it four stars because the view was beautiful, but the service is very lacking even though they have a sign on your table to flip when you need service but even when you flip the sign for help it still takes a while for them to get there. It's an overpriced restaurant with beautiful views. Great tourist spot. We ordered the clam chowder, which was about eight spoonfuls. And I think there was one clam. Also paid $30 for 1 lb of boiled shrimp which had very little flavor. The fried chicken salad was little tiny pieces of fried cold Chicken on top of a pretty good salad. The Long Island Iced Tea cocktail was delicious!

Was really looking forward to our shrimp especially the shrimp tempura but it was undercooked. It wasn’t raw, but the batter was soft and chewy, almost white, not cooked golden and crisp as usual. The coconut shrimp was good, the fries were old and cold. Our server Jade was sweet and took care of us.

The experience was average. The food was okay but nothing special, and honestly the soup was very basic and didn’t stand out. The atmosphere is nice, but the food itself was just average.

was really disappointed with my experience at Buppa Gump Shrimp. The food is seriously overpriced for the portion sizes — you’re paying premium prices for very small servings. On top of that, the wait time was extremely long, both to be seated and to receive our food. Overall, it just didn’t feel worth the money or the time. Unfortunately, I would not recommend it.

We waited 45 mins for a table i mean yeah, a table for 16 people is a lot (3 kids,the rest over 12). Today was also windy since we are eating outside. We had to eat outside even though they had bigger tables for 16 people or more inside and yet they made us go outside. The food made me nauseous 🤢 I got the jambalaya and some thing made me feel weird like if it was missing something. So I ate something else which was "I'm stuffed" shrimp and the crab and shrimp made me nauseous so I ate my brother's foos since he didnt like the mini corn dogs. The kids menu mini corn dogs and fries were better than the menu. But just looking at the shrimp made me nauseous. And I am still nauseous that I might feel like throwing up like right now. 🤢🤮 We spend $138.31 on just 4 people that's crazy. I wouldn't come back here not worth it.
