El mejor servicio!! Nos atendió Alex, es una persona súper amigable y servicial, nos llevaba la comida hasta la playa. La tostada de atún fue mi favorita, deliciosa Espero volver pronto y saludar a Alex nuevamente!

Nos tocó el servicio de Alejandro, súper servicial y amable, las tostadas de atún riquísimas! Se las recomiendo, el taco de camarón con queso delicioso, y las salsas exquisitas, la de chipotle, habanero y cilantro. Me sirvieron hasta la playa incluso pagué desde ahí, sin tener que moverme. Y el precio excelente también $80 por tostada, $70 por taco 🫶🏻

Visite este lugar en medio proyecto de dar. La vuelta al mundo pase a bailar nada mas .. divertido lugar..

Un excelente lugar para comer unos tacos y tomar unas margaritas. Muy cerca de la playa. La atención de Diana un 10! Muy buenas recomendaciones 😎

BEST food I have had yet! Great spot right off the beach. The food was incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. Menus in english if requested. Great portion size and extremely well priced. The service was amazing and the margaritas were delish. I can't wait to go back and try more menu items.

Having a lovely evening after our 75% completion of ur IDC with diving Yucatan and it couldn't be a greater experience. Diana has been lovely in the time we've been here and I'll definitely come back with further Divers or friends and family definitely a good spot to chill after diving, swimming or whichever activity u had on the beach or generally in Playa del Carmen

Wow, I stopped here for a quick snack, I decided on a fish taco and my waiter Rene recommended the freshy taco(shrimp) . He started me off with a bowl of nachos with a choice of 4 sauces, my favorite hands down was the cilantro..Bebe( waitress) served me the best fish taco I've ever had and when paired with the cilantro sauce (OMG). Next up was the freshy taco. Another "Wow" . Now I'm confused to which one is my favorite so I guess tomorrow will be another competition between the 2.Both of the servers are friendly and engaging making this my new favorite place in PDC

The was fresh and delicious, reasonably priced for the great location near the beach in Playa Del Carmen. The dishes came fast, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. They made our experience enjoyable, and we’ll definitely be back!

The food was really tasty, we went for lunch, and dinner. We enjoyed tacos, guacamole, nachos and delicious large drinks. Edgar was our server. Very friendly, attentive and spoke excellent English. The only issue was the music from the bar next door was extremely loud and annoying, so made it difficult to talk sometimes. Also when we went with a party of 12 we could not pay individually, so had to do some calculations, which is fine, now we know for next time. Definitely will go back. The restaurant is also just a few steps from the beach, so a good place to stop for a margarita or a beer to go.

Mario and Edgar where the best!!! Drinks were huge and delicious! Had no problem making sure everything was great and we were totally satisfied and happy with everything we were served!! They are located literally 10 steps away from the sand at the beach so u can eat, go swim come back if u wish!!! Annnnd if u don’t finish ur drink You can take it to go!!! It’s outdoor seating only, smoking friendly but spaced out enough that if you aren’t a smoker you don’t feel smothered because there is plenty of space and open air! 10/10 highly recommend!

The food was delicious! And the service was over the top! My guy, René (the hostess), was such a great character. He was so sure of the quality of the food, and was not wrong. The best part that it's a few steps away from the beautiful beach! 👌🤤

One the best authentic places in Playa del Carmen to have some bomb drinks, great music, friendly staff, Diana (China) is a sweet heart and the food is great! The drinks are the only ones that have gotten me lit here. Definitely recommend and will be returning!

We just had a wonderful lunch at this quaint place. Amazing food, great atmosphere right off the beach. An outdoor venue that will not disappoint. Rene was our waiter and was great!

Good place to drink a oho rojos or michelada and have ceviche. We came right off the beach to eat. Note, not a fancy place but food was incredible and great entertainment (Band and DJ) both times we went. The staff was friendly and mixed ceviche and fish tacos were great.

The restaurant is in a great location, not far from the beach. The coconut shrimp were delicious and well prepared. The margaritas were tasty and not made from a sugary mix like so many other places. Only reason I’m not rating it 5/5 is because the whole fried fish was overcooked and dry and it was tilapia, not a locally caught fish. Drink and food service was also a bit slow for the amount of people in the restaurant at the time.

The Me Project

This place had the best food on our entire trip. The servers were friendly and attentive. I see a lot of reviews about them adding tip to the bill and then asking for tip, but with a quick google search we realized that the additional percentage included on the bill is a tourist tax. If you plan to come here I would advise to bring/pay in Pesos as there was some confusion when we tried to pay part USD and part pesos. The staff thought we owed more but I was able to show them with a calculator that we indeed did not and actually paid more than the bill. Also, the conversion rate on the beach may not be as current as other places. All in all, the food was amazing (best tacos for our whole trip and best burger as well) and I would return but wouldn’t try to use USD for the reasons above. I deducted a star because of the issues we had with payment and how long it took to sort it out.

Fun place to stop in for drink after a day in the sun at Mamitas Beach.... literally a stones throw after you come off the beach. XX (small bottles, not regular size) 25peso... XX (large bottles) 35peso.... can’t beat the price... some tortilla and quacamole... 85peso... easy atmosphere, music playing, nice staff. Also to mention.. a good place to watch sports on the large screen TV’s!

I really wanted to like this place. But the food was average and on the expensive side. The location was good, just near the beach, even though you don't see it when seated. The service was good, people were friendly. By the way, if you have a car, make sure to pay for parking, it's not free. I had the fried fish with was okay, and a shrimp tostada which was disappointing. The only thing I enjoyed was the fresh coconut drink.

Our fish and shrimp ceviche was really good but the seating area is not pretty and neither is the view of the parking lot. Our server was nice but our food took forever to come out. Prices were high for what we got. If you're going to pay high prices, a nice patio and view should come with them.

March 2021: A little bar close to the popular mamita Beach. They seem to be specialized in seafood which I have not tried. I go on Tuesday nights for Latin dance night. At that time the drinks are moderately priced. Maybe because this area is not have a lot of customers at night only during Beach hours. The three stars are for the barman trying to Jack me up on the price one day because I ordered the same thing every time. Restaurants who do that don't deserve a good rating. The cocktail I order was good.

Nice spot to have a couple drinks by the beach. They have live music in the afternoon. The food is average but what really upset us was that they changed the price on the ticket and when we complained they said they had not updated their menu to reflect the new prices. Overall nice spot for quick drink and small bite before hitting the beach.

Buena comida y bebidas. El problema fue su gerente, al momento de cobrarnos la cuenta nos percatarnos que nos estaba haciendo el cobro con la propina incluida, nunca se nos pregunto si queriamos dejarla,nosotros no teniamos problema en dejar propina, pero es un robo cobrar el 18% sin consultar a tus comensales. Al reclamarle, se puso en una actitud muy desagradable, diciendo que si no teniamos o no queriamos dejar para la propina que él la pagaba que no nos rogaba por nuestro dinero.

La comida no está mal… pero el servicio es pésimo! Los que trabajan en el lugar están no se si borrachos o tomando ahí, la musica demasiado alto y el ambiente parecía que era para que ellos estuvieran más a gusto. Al pedir la cuenta notamos que había un cargo sin título alguno en donde nos agregaban la propina… en ningún restaurante de Playa del Carmen nos agregaron la propina solo en este. La verdad no regresaría por esta acción. Nosotros también nos dedicamos al servicio al cliente y se nos hace de muy mal gusto obligar a dejar propina, sino nos la hubieran agregado, hubiéramos dejado el 15% pero esa acción de meterte la propina en la cuenta sin avisarte es un abuso y de muy mal gusto. No regresaría

El servicio es pésimo, esperamos mucho tiempo por bebidas y comida, al final y después de mucha espera solo llevaron 2 bebidas de 5 las demás nunca llegaron, cuando llegó la comida solo 2 órdenes llegaron bien las demás llevaron lo que quisieron y aún así tardaron mucho más tiempo, no se si la chava estaba más interesada es las fotos que estaban haciendo para marketing del lugar, pero de nada sirve con el servicio tan pésimo que tienen

NO VAYAN A ESTE LUGAR!! ES ESTAFA!! Los precios de la carta no es lo que te cobrarán. Y al momento de pagar te cobran sin preguntar el porcentaje que ellos quieran de propina. Y te dicen que es obligatoria!! ¡Cuidado!

Todo iba digamos que "normal"....la comida normal, el ambiente era abierto así que me gustó mucho pero con respecto al mozo, pésimo, cero carisma, cero atención, había que estar llamándolo constantemente, sino hubiese sido por ese señor que creo que era el jalador, nos hubiésemos ido, muy agradable el señor la verdad hasta el último minuto. Lo que no me gustó para nada es que me cobraron en el recibo la propina "según ellos"....y eso me molestó mucho, muy aparte de que siempre suelo dejar propina y odio que me lo impongan...el hecho es de que el vuelto me lo dieron pero con la propina añadida y cuando reclamé, pues el mozo muy altanero me dijo :" le dejamos tomar sus cervezas de otro lado así que la propina viene a ser obligatoria." 😱 Terrorífica su respuesta...pero en fin, no vuelvo más, a pesar de que es un ambiente bastante lindo. Igual los obligue a qué me devuelvan mi vuelto completo y me fui.

Today we ordered on Rappi fish&chips, fish burger and taco freshy. When we opened a box, we realized that chips is not crispy (it was not enough in the oil). Also it was super salty. At the breaded fish I had the feeling that it has been done 1 day before . My husband said that burger’s bread is from supermarket and the breaded fish is small. Last we checked the taco. Taste was good, but how it was looking… Finally we went with a 4 months old baby in a restaurant. Dont waste your money here.
