Muy buen lugar centrico y buena comida ves el mar y diafrutas la playa

Muy buen lugar para hospedarse, me salvaron luego que mi primer alojamiento resultara ser falso. El lugar se encuentra frente a la playa, gran atención y dedicación del personal. Generalmente fui atendido por Ivan, quién brindo una atención excelente. Ofrecen distintos servicios, productos para consumo dentro del recinto, además de contar con comodidades para estar en la playa.

This is one of the oldest bars in Playa and it is perhaps my favorite place. Very professional but fun staff. The drinks are great amd the food is excellent. The original "swing bar" as it has become to be known. You'll have fun here meeting new people from all over the world. Highly recommend as a stop when you're in playa.

Pez Vela is a place we visit every time we come to Playa. The food is great and priced fairly. The drinks are on point. The atmosphere, right on Quinta, could not be better .

Had multiple steak tacos and none matched these! Especially as could order with flour tortillas. Simple but so GOOD!!. The mixed ceviche was so flavorful as well. Was also quieter without music blasting which we were looking for.

Stopped in on our walk to catch the ADO bus a few blocks away. Needed some breakfast for the wife and tacos for me. Food was excellent and one of the best Arrachera tacos we ever had. Staff was on point and always right there. Food was on the lower price. We paid $560 mxn for breakfast, tacos and 2 beers. Make sure to pay in Pesos, it will save you the conversion fee charge to USD.

I very much enjoyed the food. The shrimp was absolutely incredible. My wife also enjoyed her tacos. The prices were very reasonable as well. I also found the waiters both kind and helpful.

This Place was really delicious! The food was hot and so yummy! The portions are very large and great for sharing! We had Erick as a waiter and he was fantastic at telling us good things to order and also about some cool local places. The atmosphere at Pez Vela was great as well! Mariachi Band, screens with sports on them, outdoor indoor environment with a cool bar that has swings as seats. Definitely a place to re-visit!

Food was great, service was awesome, and price was good. We had lobster and the whole snapper and they were both very good. Highly recommend this place. Only downside was the guy trying to sell us tequila with our picture on it.

We had wonderful service and dinner. Frank is awesome!! I would highly recommend it. Weather is beautiful and the people are very friendly.

El lugar es muy bonito con su alberca al centro y la playa a unos metros, pero no hay variedad de alimentos ni bebidas

Me gusto mucho por la atención, es un lugar tranquilo para relajarse, la alberca muy bien, la comida y las bebidas muy también, las chicas me atendieron excelente, sin duda alguna volvería, lo único malo fue el sargazo en la playa, pero eso no es culpa del establecimiento, sin duda volvería a ir en temporada libre de sargazo, también si no es mucho pedir que agregaran empanadas argentinas en su menú, eso ya es un capricho personal

Wonderful ribs!! The service was top and the ribs even better. It's a place you can enjoy people watching and the food was truly brilliant. On the day I chose their ribs without sauce and they did not disappoint. Drop off the bone tender and beautiful tasting, making sure my decision to not have BBQ sauce was well worth it.

El lugar es bonito, y la playa está enfrente, el menú no es taaaan variado pero todo lo que pedimos tenía muy buen sabor y presentación. Los baños muy pequeños, no hay regaderas (o al menos yo nunca las vi) y tampoco préstamo de toallas. Yo siempre dejo propina, pero me parece MUY incómodo y de mal gusto exigirla y además que de preferencia se dé en efectivo, al llegar el mesero comenta que el consumo es de mínimo $700 por persona más el 15% de propina mínimo. Notamos que no se ponen de acuerdo en los precios o promociones, una turista nos mencionó que le dieron una bebida de cortesía, cosa que nuestro mesero jamás mencionó y también su consumo mínimo fue diferente.

Sabor de alimentos Bueno , bebidas bien , llegamos cuando faltaba una hora para cerrar y todo lo hicieron apresurado y nosotros pagamos el brazalete de day pass aunque sabíamos que sería solo una hora no teníamos problema con ello pero esa hora nos estuvieron presionando porque cerrarían y nosotros estábamos como entes de ello, aún así dejamos muy buena propina , sugiero paciencia para nacionales y extranjeros , uno nunca sabe cómo q quien trata y PORFAVOR PORFAVOR!! Cambien la hora en su página que ahí decía que cerraban a las 10pm no específica si área de restaurante AHÍ DICE BEACH CLUB 10pm , el mesero me dijo que no que hace mucho ya cierran mas temprano. Regresaremos gracias

Go somewhere else for great food at the same price. Aguachile and Ceviche are basic. Giant nachos are loaded with black beans. Wanted more salsa Verde and another beer but attention took 20 minute's. Will only come back for.... Sorry I won't.

Good at everything except billing. They automatically add the tip in the bill and then hide the total in the check folder. They write the total with tip in pen at the top, hoping you add more tip. When I called out the server, he said that the built in tip goes to the staff, not him. Advice: don't add more tip - it is a rip off

Pésimo servicio de una señora llamada Azul, junto teníamos a unos extranjeros y los atendieron rapidísimo, nosotros tuvimos que hasta abrir nuestra sombrilla, eso si el 20% forzoso de propina.

Tuve una mala experiencia, me comuniqué a whats app para saber datos sobre su day pass, pregunté si daban toallas, y me comentaron que si al llegar al lugar me comentaron que no daban toallas lo cual pues al tratarse de un Beach club como se supone que me voy a secar ?, no tienen regadera para enjuagarse si uno entra al mar, la comida si está buena recomiendo el aguachile negro, la atención de los meseros es mala, prefieren atender al turista extranjero que al mexicano, vaya nunca me había tocado tan mala atención, tardaron en tomarme la orden, y en siquiera preguntar si me hacía falta algo, el baño tiene un olor desagradable, la Alberca está bien, es de mal gusto que los meseros al cobrar te digan “LA PROPINA DEL 15 % ES LA SUGERIDA” siempre dejo propina a lo que es a mi criterio y normalmente es del 10 % o 15 %, pero es de mal gusto que al cobrar hagan ese comentario, al final dejé el 15 %, cierran a las 6 pm el servicio day pass.

Staff was friendly. Food was not so great. The charro beans were beanie weenies. You know....canned pork and beans with hot dogs. Guacamole was okay. Chicken Florintine was good. Lememonade was good. I would recommend finding a other place to eat.

Just left there. The service sucked. We were sat and watched two tables get seated after us get drinks and service before anyone even came and asked us what we wanted to drink. Got a margarita. Felt more alcohol from a wine cooler and it tasted like chemicals, not fresh at all. Partner got a strawberry water. When the server brought it over, he told him it was a strawberry margarita. He said he didn't order a margarita. The server says, well, I guess I get you get two then? Or something like that. He took a drink and looked up to the server laughing at him. Was really a yucky feeling. We stood up at our table for many minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge us and bring us our bill. The server never checked in on us and then had the audacity to tell me that I should have told him the drink wasn't good. When, Bucko? I never saw you. The food was ok. Partner got the pasta which claimed to have a spiciness to it, he said it takes like plain tomato sauce. I hated this place. I would never suggest it to anyone. I can't tell you anything I enjoyed. The bathrooms sucked. The drinks sucked and were incredibly overpriced. The servers sucked. Music is unnecessarily loud. People are trying to sell you stuff while you are trying to eat. Don't go here.

The food wasn’t bad, but the service was terrible. When it was time to pay, they entered the tip amount on their own without asking, and when I tried to check it, they rushed through the process and barely showed me the screen. It was really disappointing to see. It wasn’t a big amount of money and I was in a hurry to catch a bus, so I just left, but I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

Used to love coming here over the years , but this year will be my last as the newer bartender is greasy and rack up our tab by hiding the auto tip in the bill @ 10% . Was noted by others that have brought up that’s going on here trying to hope you add more tip. It was nice while it lasted. Don’t recommend now unfortunately.
