Huge menu, really good old style burgers, you can get an egg on your burger which is nice, and they have so many kinds of pie, we love trying different ones. They also have coffee which is great!!

If you want to eat healthy, order a lettuce wrap burger or a lettuce wrap chicken sandwich with or without the mayo. If you want a really good pie, try the banana cream pie. It is amazing. All the pies are worthy of an A+ rating.

Nation's Is the way to go! Today I ordered the 4 stack of pancakes with about 3 strips of bacon and sunny side up eggs. Sooo yummy and the hot cakes were so perfectly made, not too dark and my order was done in 7 minutes. On a Wednesday night, not very busy and it was 2 other people Inside waiting, the service was fast and the cashier was polite. I really enjoyed my breakfast for dinner. If you never been to this Nation's then your missing out, try It!

I was hungry and was close by this place so decided to get a bacon cheeseburger. I made sure the bacon was cooked well and it was. The burger was very juicy and hot. It was very good. The fries were normal but they were good. The service was excellent and friendly. I was very satisfied.

Diner style menu including breakfast options that are available all day and night. Great place for late night meals. Each location is a little different but the menu and pies are a staple in the bay area. I tried the cheeseburger and it was cooked perfectly but very basic. Fries were crisp and hot. Sauces and soda fountains are self-serve. The chili cheeseburger is very unique it comes with a bun and beef pattie placed on a plate but not stacked together like a regular burger and the whole thing is smothered in chili beans. Al-a carte items are available for breakfast and it is very easy to customize anything on the menu. Pies are displayed in a case and I believe there is a featured flavor each month. Classic diner atmosphere. Staff was very helpful and quick to prepare orders.

To me, Nations is all about hamburgers. And they don't disappoint. We liked Nations burger better than what I used to think was a better burger at an El Cerrito eatery. Their pies don't disappoint either. Buy pie by the slice or take a whole pie home. If you're having trouble deciding where to go for breakfast, give Nations a try. They were a little busy during one of our visits and I was wishing the cook could juggle a couple more orders on his griddle. Or that the other 2 employees could do a little more to assist the cook. Maybe it was a matter of experience. Best burgers ever!!!

Delicious bacon cheeseburger! Nice juicy patty with warm cheese, snappy fresh onions and lettuce with tasty tomatoes. Still observing covid with masks and most tables closed off. No public restrooms is kind of a drag. But staff is nice and friendly AND quick! I will go back and try their breakfast.

This place has a great quality and food. As a Giants fan I believe their front logo was very well chosen. The decor, and the indoor were not the best, as it looked like it was outdated and old. The chairs were a bit stiff, and the lights weren't turned on because there was no light bulbs. The rooms were dimly lit, due to the nonfunctioning lights. The service was alright! However the interior was really outdated, and the condiments looked also a bit on the older side. However, their food makes up for that! Their food was delicious, and everything tasted so amazing! Their cheeseburger or their bacon cheeseburger all taste great! Their chili fries are also good, and their onion rings were decent! Their food completely makes up for the outdated and old decor, however their food omg it was the best! Highly recommend the food, but only if you're taking out for takeout, or just quickly stopping by, as the interior was not in the best shape. Their pies was also very good, I extremely suggest the banana pudding! Hope this helps!

Great cheese burger. Fries were under cooked.

While placing my order the worker stopped to do other tasks multiple times which was frustrating and I had to clean my own table. Besides these two things the food was good and in a great location. No public restrooms. Visited 2/1/2025 at 4pm.

I ordered a chocolate cream pie that my young great grandchildren wanted for Christmas. What we found in the box when we opened it was a coconut cream pie. Needless to say the kids were very disappointed. Always check to make sure you get what you ordered before leaving.

The burgers are big and had a solid taste, but it wouldn't be the first place I'd take someone visiting from out of town. The fries needed salt. Biggest killer for me was the price.

I'm a big fan of Nation's Giant Hamburgers, yet my last two experiences here have not been pleasant. I ordered a grilled Ham and Cheese sandwich togo both times. The first time I ordered the sandwich, I got home to see that the sandwich was burnt, causing the taste to be bitter. I live 40 minutes away so I can't go back to return it. I thought it was an honest mistake so I left it at that. When I ordered the same sandwich today, I expected it to be grilled perfectly. Instead, I get home and find myself another burnt sandwich. I didn't want to take apart the wrapped paper to see if the sandwich looked good, and then not be able to wrap it back neatly. But it seems I should open the packaging and check next time if I choose to go back. As for service, for togo orders, there is no one to attend at the pickup counter. I had to call out for help after waiting several minutes, when my food was all packed and ready to go. Also, the food takes FOREVER to make, so it's good to plan ahead or order online. Hopefully, it will be worth the wait for you because it wasn't for me. Maybe I will try again after a break at a different location.

Going downhill fast. Probably one of the worst meals I have had, especially from nations. Pretty sure the people in jail had a better dinner than me last night. Why only sliced American cheese ? Thats the worst way to save money. Just look at the pics. The staff is fast but not efficient. I didn't even try the pie this time.

Place isnt the cleanest, food its good, service people always seem like they don't want to be there or they're in a rush, may be because they are short handed or doing too many things?

This was the worst experience I have ever encountered at a Nations.. my husband ordered a hamburger.. no problem.. I ordered a hotdog with mustard and pickles.. something told me not to eat it when I opened up the wrapping paper.. it had a chemical smell.. I couldn't believe it was the hotdog, so I ate it.. big mistake.. first bite, and I was done.. I threw it in the garbage.. I waited until I got home to eat.. NEVER going to this nation again..

Sorry, if you give me a weak amount of fries, you get a bad review, I don't care how good your burgers are. If Maria P. takes your order, be ready to police the amount of fries she puts in. Really good burgers, though. Be warned, this one doesn't have a bathroom.

$100 to feed 3 people, 3 burgers,3 fries and 3 drinks. Not worth the price for a burger that barely beats Burger King next store.

The people who work here are rude! I feel like if you're going to come to work with a nasty attitude just call off. Customer service is EVERYTHING you never know who is watching.

Christmas Day they closed the seating so only take out orders. The bread is sitting out next to the customers and the pies are open for anyone to cough on. On a portable 12 level rolling shelf. That's kinda gross. Anyone could cough or sneeze right next to the pies.

I went to this location for the first time on 1/2/26 for a lunch takeout. Staff was friendly and the restaurant looks a bit dated but not too bad. I ordered a chili cheese dog and chili cheese fries and unfortunately the chili tasted burnt. I noticed it once I got back to work and after closely looking at the chili I could see little black burnt bits in the chili and sadly that burnt flavor was all through the chili as a whole. I definitely wasn’t happy with my first purchase here. If the chili was right, the food would have been awesome. If you want chili here I’d recommend asking to taste the chili first before spending your money. The pic shows the burnt bit that’s all throughout the chili product.

Possibly the worst over priced food I have ever had

After waiting for 20 min, I asked about my order and found it had not yet been started. Ended up being late for work. There were only a few people in the store but they somehow managed to take forever on everyone’s order. Others complained. Of the orders they did complete, several complained that their order was incorrect. The food here is good but they are a mess. Do not come here if you’re short on time and make sure you check the order before you leave.

Sign says opens at 6am every day, I got there at 6:35 and guy said they aren't open 🙄...false advertising

This place has always had great food but when you’re being treated disrespectfully by a worker there, it doesn’t make you want to come back. I won’t be back. There are so many other places more deserving of my hard earned money. By the way the guy that was rude is named Christian.... how ironic

The lady taking orders, no speakie, no Englie. Breakfast sandwich was an egg between bread, you can add one piece of transparent bacon for $6 extra. But on the plus side, lettuce was free. The best part of this breakfast extravaganza was, after reading the huge sign on top of the pie case that read "Buy one pie, get one free" and then ordering said pies, having the lady pull the sign down and throw it in the trash, smile and say "60 dollars" and point at the mandatory tip options on the screen. LOL. I still love NB, just won't be returning to this particular one. Oh yeah, the sandwich was nothing to write home about, sub-par at best.

*this is my 2nd attempt to post this* I never like leaving reviews like this, but this was just plain awful. I was staying at a local hotel with my beautiful wife had never been to nations. After spending $30 plus dollars (with tip) I was appalled by the soggy, rubbery mess that was given to me. I took one bite and immediately spit it out. I ended up having to go get something else because the quality and preparation was atrocious.
