Can't complain it's was easy and good.
If you lose $6000 in the casino, they award you a $100 steakhouse comp. So my dinner and drinks were free. I only paid the gratuity. The best part of eating in a casino steakhouse is the service. The bartenders and waitstaff are equivalent to High Limit Blackjack Dealers. Jarrett took care of my every need and saw to my satisfaction. I ordered my favorite foods: Jack Daniels and cola in a tall glass with cherries, dinner rolls with real butter, Caesar salad, garlic spinach, roast duck, and Modelo Especial. The salad did not taste good and Jarrett took it off my bill without me having to ask. The duck tasted AMAZING. It was just so delicious. The skin was crispy, the meat was tender but cooked. I will definitely come back for $46 duck. My glucose meter said no to Carrot Cake, so I took a piece home. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the service.
Food was excellent! Service was even better. They have a staff that clearly cares. I had the Prime Rib with a side Lobster Tail. Both were excellent! Definitely recommend this restaurant.
Stopped in for dinner on a Thursday. We had $100 Diamond celebration credit to use. We sat at the big table with the privacy curtain. There was a good crowd but crazy packed. Service was prompt and food was delicious! We ordered the seafood tower, steak, seafood paella and dessert. It was good and we were full! I recommend and would return back again!
We lucked in to ordering happy hour items at 6:59 ! The appetizers and certain drinks and desserts are half price until 7 PM. We loved the crab cake and the burnt ends. We regretted not getting the shrimp cocktail, but we won't forget next time. The piano player was phenomenal and made the meal memorable.
Omg! Recently, my husband and I dined at Farraddays at the Isle Casinoin Palm-aire area. I thought it would be another humdrum casino experience; boy was I wrong!! From the beginning, Robin, our waitress was able to suggest several choices for dinner that ended up being phenomenal! This restaurant is a must see- must taste category! The old school, classy decor, jazzy tunes and eccletic artwork set the mood for a special culinary experience. The juicy shrimp and velvety grits and tender prime rib, seasoned asparagus, and huge sweet potatoe with a cinnamon, brown sugar ball and a thickly sliced cheesecake with fresh berries for dessert did not disappoint!!! Thank you, Robin for such exemplary service and thank you, Farraddays! We will be back!!
Such amazing service! We were initially going to have breakfast downstairs at Myron’s (also a fave of ours) but one of the employees mentioned the brunch at Faradday’s was also open, so we went up to check out the menu and decided to go for it. They had a $29.99 menu where you choose one main dish (about 12 options) and then get unlimited sides and desserts. Everything was delicious. I especially liked the grits, the fresh fruit, and the waffles. The desserts were all amazing. You can also add bottomless mimosas for an additional $10. Food, service, and ambiance were all 5 stars for me.
AMAZING food and service! The stuffed Lobster 🦞 Tail was to die for! The Mussels were also great, oh and the Filet! Wowza!
Everything we had was excellent. Great food and great service. Or waiter Marcho, was very courtesy and a really service excellent.
Went for my 45th birthday dinner. Was greeted and welcomed in by Dom the manager. Dinner service was top notch delivered by Jaime the server and the food was deliciously cooked by a team of great cooks led by Chef Isaias. I had the filet with shrimp. The filet was beyond tender, cooked perfect and the shrimp were huge and cooked scampi style. Delicious!!! My guests were very satisfied and pleased. Dom, the chef and all staff were so welcoming. This establishment doesn’t skip a beat. Located inside Harrahs Pompano Beach Casino. The casino is clean and the new parking garage and outside gaming terrace are beautiful new additions.
Went here for Valentine's day. Requested a romantic table, and they placed us right near the amazing piano player. Food was very tasty. I had the filet mignon, and my wife had the fish. The dessert was so rich with chocolate and had some custom cookie swans made in-house.
Delicious Sunday brunch. Great food with unlimited sides and desserts. The brisket benedict is fabulous.
The food never disappoints and the staff is always friendly. This place definitely doesn’t get the credit it deserves.
This was our 50th Wedding Anniversary, and they treated us truly special. Food was spectacular. Service was attentive and made sure the food was prepared the was we ordered. The atmosphere couldn't have been better. We were in a corner looking across the restaurant, but where our table was, we could have a conversation yet still feel like we were not hidden, which is important to someone in a fine dining restaurant.
This was a wonderful dining experience. From the perfectly chilled martini, to the perfectly medium rare NY strip, crab cakes appetizer, baked potato, creamed spinach, and freshly baked bread. A really, really nice experience. Marcho was a very good waiter.
Dinner was great. Prime Rib and Veal osso buco, very yummy. Bill was our waiter. He had a great personality! I love good food and good service.
Fantastic experience! Went there for happy hour and from start to finish we had a great time. The host Dominique was charming and helped answer our questions. We sat at the bar and the bartender was quick and concise with drink orders/preparation and food orders! The pianist was amazing too! Overall great atmosphere, staff, and food. We will be back!
This is the upscale steakhouse at the Harrah’s Casino in Pompano. Pompano is continuing to reinvent itself and expand the casino and offerings. Whether you’re a local or in town for business or vacation, you might want to give this one a shot. Hey, you may make enough in the casino to pay for your meal … or hopefully, you won’t need to find a place to pawn your watch! 🙄
Our server Marco was exceptional, one of the best servers we’ve ever had! Our dinner was terrific and we are very happy we went!
The south florida shows in some of these reviews…the same people that bring “service dogs” on planes appear to be prevalent here. Regardless, Farradays provides great service in a pleasant atmosphere. We tried everything on the menu, and found it to be quite good. For a casino steakhouse, it was a rather good deal-you will pay more for less and lower-quality food at many places in Vegas. Our bilingual server was very patient with very impatient and difficult mother-in-law of the variety that doesn’t want to leave a proper tip; these are all important in south Florida. If I am ever back in the area, I would certainly return.
I don't know what all these people with negative comments are about, but I can say this restaurant was great! The service and food were good and no complaints about anything at all! I recommend it! P.S. To the family btchin about them not letting kids in, you shouldnt bring your kids to a restaurant inside a casino anyway, do better parenting, and pick a more appropriate place to have a whole family dinner next time!
The food was amazing and Jamie made the experience perfect, one of the best waiters I ever had. One of the most memorable experiences I ever had, thanks to him. The meat came at the perfect temperatura and their carrot cake is to die for. Jamie recommended an excellent wine as well. I will definitely visit this place again.
We frequently go to Faradays and sit at the bar , Jacek the bartender is great friendly and knows exactly how we like our martinis , Dominique runs the restaurant seamlessly. The food is good , the atmosphere is pleasing. Never had a bad experience
Come to Farraddays if you want a refined, romantic dining ambiance! I found this restaurant on Open Table hoping to try the Atlantic Salmon from the dinner menu, un/fortunately, I ended up going on a Sunday when they only serve the brunch menu dishes. Well, I semi-regret it because I couldn’t try it. Still, I did get to enjoy the bottomless mimosas instead with my family, which was delightful and had the perfect ratio of orange juice to champagne ratio. For the entree, I ordered the Korean Short Rib Tacos. The sauce was sweet and tangy, but the rib was greasy, so it overpowered the flavors. The chicken and waffles was decadent and savory. I would order it again. The steak and eggs were perfectly cooked. The eggs a little watery and steak needed to be pan seared longer. The burger was simple and I’ve had better. Overall, I would recommend coming here for a date night dinner, enjoy the live piano performance and playing at the casino afterwards downstairs if you’re up to gamble. Overall: 7/10
I have been here many times before ( 8oz Filet) and the food and service have been good, not great, but good. Not so much today. The restaurant wasn’t busy but apparently my server had 4 tables and seemed to be in the weeds. The bread came and I ate half of it before the server came to greet me and get me water. I ordered the French onion soup, 16oz prime rib (medium) and mashed potatoes. It he soup crust and cheese weee burnt and not very flavorful. Prime rib was mediocre and mashed potatoes were good. They always ask if you have reservations (usually not very crowded). In my opinion, this is an average place dressed up to try to be a fancy place. Service - 4.9 French Onion - 6.2 Prime Rib - 6.4 Mashed Potatoes- 7.1
The food is ok but the prices don't actually coincide with the flavor or portion size. I opted for the USDA Prime Ribeye and it was more like a small USDA Choice NY Strip. My wife had the Chilean Sea Bass which was good due to the fact it's pretty hard to screw up a piece of fish but she also had the Lobster Bisque that she had to return because the Sherry Wine they used was too strong. Although she couldn't eat it the waiter kept the tab on our bill (sad face emoji) and charged us for it. My mixed drink (Whiskey Sour) had more ice than drink mix but was made perfectly. Overall it's not a bad place to go just don't set your sites too high. Tried to DM owner as requested and their site doesn't allow DM messages.
Meh..if you are looking for a great steak, look elsewhere. The food and the service were lacking. Even the sitting arrangements were weird. The only way you could sit at the table was to turn it sideways. I ordered my steak medium at it came out bleeding. As much as I hate sending food back, I couldn’t bring myself to eat it. Plus, my date said the potatoes tasted like they came out of the box! Not even the drinks were good! The drinks were watered down and full of ice, and the waiter didn’t have good knowledge of the type of alcohol the restaurant had in hand. Three stars because they were very nice about putting my steak back on the fire.
I specifically went for the French onion soup, was over salted and horrible, only had about five spoonfuls. Was told the house salad didn't have any onions, but server said he would make "no onion" note. The salad had so many onions, I ate less than half, got tired of picking onions out. Probably will not go back again. This was my third bad experience here.
Had brunch here today. My friend had the chicken and biscuits, she said it was tasteless. The guys both ordered burgers snd loved them. I had the omelette which was fine. The sides were excellent. Coffee not included in $30!! Blood Mary was good, not great. All in all, nice atmosphere, food just ok! The chocolate cake tasted like it was a month old
Yesterday I was celebrating my parents 60th anniversary there. 7 people in total i was disappointed with service. Been there 3/ 4 times. We stayed late . Towards the end 2 people asked for coffee. Waitor said there was no coffee which is very unheard of !
Not the 5 star dining experience for $150 meal. I used my diamond celebration comp for my meal. There were many errors in my meal. Spoke to manager who was nice but still did not feel completely respected as I have in other restaurants. Such as when I ordered my prime rib rare and it was served well done. They fired me a filet mignon which was cooked properly but still charged me full price for filet after making me wait. Again not the player experience would want for a night at the casino.
Our server, Cat, was fabulous!! Very attentive without being intrusive. She was truly a professional. 👏👏 But I ordered the ribeye steak and for $56 that was the most mediocre steak I’ve ever had in my life! Not particularly well marbled, not particularly tender, in fact it was rather dry If it wasn’t that someone else there recommended the restaurant and I didn’t want to embarrass anybody, I would’ve commented because it really wasn’t very good. It was rather second rate and not very flavorful at all. I have to be honest, I would not recommend this place even though the service was excellent and the host was nice…but for a steakhouse to have what seemed like a steak you’d get at Applebee’s, was incredibly disappointing.
Nice waitstaff and very nice food runner/table cleaner (forget the guys name but he was everywhere and very nice) but that’s where the positives ended. Food was not just bad but awful. Lobster bisque was so fishy smelling we sent back (also an odd color and texture). Korean ribs were all fat and charred black an not the good way. Steak was so overcooked and dry there wasn’t a bit of moisture left in it. Crab legs were overcooked and super rubbery. The focaccia bread app looked more like New York pizza crust than an actual focaccia bread. Overall the food is just bad. If you’re spending your own money, do yourself a favor and skip it.
I had read a lot reviews. So we were excited to try this place. Seated quickly before reservations and served bread and water. Good so far. Placed an order for burnt ends appetizer and we both ordered Prime Dip sandwiches. After at least 30 minutes our waiter comes by and says, you haven't gotten your sandwiches? I requested them twice, let me go check. He comes back with our sandwiches. I asked him to take burnt ends off the bills. He says, what? They never came out? Okay. Our prime dip sandwiches were not ice cold but close, the aus jus sauce was tepid. The fries were overdone. Let me mention that after initial drinks he never checked on us before or after food came. I ate, because I was hungry. My wife ate about half. I asked for check and he brought it out. When he came to take payment, he said, You ready for me boss? I really wanted to like this place. the reviews were pretty much all 4 and 5 stars. Would I try it again. Maybe, if someone reached out from this establishment. Looking at other reviews online, it doesn't look like they respond back. Update: The owner did reach out and told me to contact the manager, but left me no email in which to respond. I am not putting my email on a review.
We went there Saturday night, made a reservation for 5:30, was hoping we could sit at the bar but they had Reversed signs. The whole time we were there no one sat there. My wife and I ordered medium rare 16 ounce Ribeye. It came out well done, when asked by the manager how was the steak we told him, and he ordered us another one. It was the second time in 40 years that I returned returned a plate. The second steak was not eatable, it had no sear, was cold and it looked like it was boiled. The favor was terrible, we could not eat it. The waiter took my full plate of food and never asked me if it was OK.
Sorry wasn't impressed with the piece of meat . It was fatty and tough. It was the prime rib med rare. It was overcooked and not seasoned very well. Sorry but meal was a letdown
Food cold, waiter so so. Dinner cost over $100(without alcohol) and I expected it to be good. Been here before, will not return.
I, together with my husband, had Christmas Day Dinner at Faradays Steakhouse in Pompano. Ordered Filet Mignon. We both swore, that it was sirloin, not tender as it should be. Also, the edges were dry as if they had freezer burn. To our surprise, the peppercorn gravy came with an additional $6.00 charge. The server was not very attentive. I had to stand up to get his attention to fill our water glasses. When at the end, asked how the meal was, we told him. His answer was it was a buyer's issue. A poor excuse for lousy expense meal. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! For a good Fillet Mignon at a more reasonable price and better service, go to J Alexander on Federal in Ft Lauderdale.
I am extremely dissatisfied with the experience I had. They do not warrant a single star. After making a reservation well in advance, they denied us entry. We had eaten there a few weeks ago with our children without issue. My family, consisting of 9 adults and 2 children, flew in from NYC to celebrate my birthday. However, the restaurant failed to disclose its 21+ policy, which was not mentioned on their website or during the phone reservation. We had previously celebrated a 90th birthday dinner with our extended family, including children, without incident. Regrettably, the security and staff were extremely rude and unhelpful. I would never return to this establishment. It was a terrible way to celebrate a significant birthday.
Never have I been so embarrassed and so disappointed in my entire life. For someone in the restaurant industry for 20 years, I am absolutely disgusted. Backstory… We had my grandfathers 90th birthday party here about 3 weeks ago and had a great experience. There was 4-5 of our children present and the food and service was good so we decided to make a new reservation for my wife’s 40th birthday dinner. We made the reservation and when we arrived with 13 guests(11 adults and 2 children) they denied us entry and made us wait outside in the heat for 20 minutes for a manager to come. When they arrived they told us children are no longer allowed in the building as of this past Monday(not even for dinner) and that they cannot allow us to enter. I told them I made the reservation with 2 children and they tried to tell me I did not. They didn’t offer any suggestions. Zero condolences. They just simply said they could not accommodate us. My family is now sitting here at 6:30pm on a Saturday night with nowhere to go for my wife’s 40th birthday dinner. Nothing on their website explaining no more children allowed. No courtesy phone call to cancel. No information whatsoever. Absolutely disgusted. Thanks you for ruining my wife’s milestone. Thank you for the worst offer of service from any dog in the service industry I have experienced in over 20 years in the industry. DISGSUTED!!
I frequent tournaments at the home casino if this establishment. I ordered food almost 40 minutes before closing and it was just two starters. I tried them because it’s never busy and I love Harrahs and their employees but this place is a ugly poster child of customer service! I assume the older man was the manager. I asked the bartender how much longer my order would take and he said we are closed. I then said, I ordered 40 minutes ago. He calls said manager over and he starts the interaction with attitude and a lie stating I just placed the order. Now their app took my order and money with a 10 tip on $24 order. The manager changed his answer once I told him what time I placed the order and said well I just saw the order and your money will not be refunded until tomorrow or after the weekend. No apology nothing, just attitude. Admittedly, I now gained an attitude because of how I was treated. Very disappointed and I am far from done on this situation.
I took my partner out to dinner, thinking “wow, nice place” but I was really disappointed in the quality of food that was ordered. The sea bass tasted like tilapia and the texture was dry and hard, unlike what it should feel and taste like. I sent it back and ordered the lobster bisque with a salad the bisque was brown and burnt and salad was third rate. My partners prime rib was good but the popover Wes hard cold and thick. Anyhow we won’t be going back to this restaurant.
It took nearly an hour to get my food. My Ribeye was very poor quality meat, cooked to the wrong temperature, full of gristle and tasteless. I was never offered a refill on my drink and nobody ever asked me how my meal was. Oh I forgot to mention that the decor (which I had plenty of time to look at) is old and well worn. Easily the worst meal I have had in years.
They dont know what to do on gluten free when you ask they just give weird looks service very very slow took for ever to get my glass filled up wasted our night coming here for date night will never return again not worth the money Im sorry this is just my opinion! Just feels like the care level for the customer is very low! Very disappointing to us cant get this time back that was wasted!
We eat at the New York steakhouse in the Coconut Creek Casino never have had a bad meal never have had bad service never had to send food back. stay away from Farradays We ordered a fillet mignon, medium rare. It came out raw. We sent it back. It came out well done, no one seemed to care, told the manager he didn’t care. In the meantime my partner was waiting for them to bring my steak (. 6 mins) it got cold and it was tough. This place is a total disaster the prices are terrible, food terrible for the price The staff couldn’t be bothered. The hostess was very nice.
I could imagine the service would have been as awful as my experience. I booked a fight to Florida from NJ for the weekend and decided to make birthday reservations prior to flying into FL. They knew my reservation had kids included and when we got there they denied us access due to the children not being able to take a short stroll through the casino to get to the restaurant. On top of being unprofessional they wasted our time and acted like they didn’t know kids were on the reserve list. I would not recommend this place.
My girlfriend and i went into this establishment lastnight and never have been to harrahs casino before but we were there to support one of our friends who was performing in the band downstairs. We stumbled upon this bar as we were hungry and thirsty. We also wanted a break from the music and smoke. Like i said, we walked in around 9;30 pm and sat at the bar. The restaurant and bar was empty. The bar had 2 guests, and the restaurant has two tables. We were rudely judged and greeted by “rickie” who immediately asked us for our IDS, and said why don’t you go to another bar? Continued to check our IDS, and making jokes about our age? We are 30 & 33.. whether or not she thought we were under age, she continued to look at us and look at the IDS. She then walked away as she was talking to her coworker about making drinks for the restaurant. She wasted so much time walking aimlessly behind the bar doing nothing, once she came back and asked us if we would like to order a beverage, after INSULTING US, my friend looked at me and wanted to leave but i didn’t want to leave as we were just popping in for a quick drink and app. After several minutes of her roaming around the bar, acting busy. She finally came BACK over and asked if we wanted to stay and get a beverage after sitting there for 10 minutes, while all the other two people were sitting at the bar with drinks and food already. I said to her, can we please have two shots of tequila neat? She then decided to walk away while proceeding to tell me that she had no tequila. Then she magically found a bottle of tequila and proceeded to ask me if I still wanted it. Listen it shouldn’t be this hard to get a shot of tequila. We have been in the industry for over 15 years and this is absolutely asinine of someone to treat us like this. Whether or not we looked under age, or whatever she was thinking. We are 30 and 33. You don’t treat people like that, especially if we are good paying customers who have been in the industry and understand how it works. Never again will I be returning and RICKIE you should probably Treat people with respect… And take care of the guest that are actually willing to spend money… do better RICKIE AND CHANGE YOUR SKUNK ATTITUDE.
Went to dinner for my boyfriend’s birthday and was extremely disappointed… he has a serious severe nut allergy and I alerted our waiter mark ahead of time. He served us bread and told us he would check if it was nut free and thank god he didn’t eat it because it wasn’t. He ordered a burger and my boyfriend was skeptical about eating it and the manager came over and took the burger back and told him not to eat it because it was crossed contaminated. The staff was extremely unprofessional and the menu was so overpriced for the service and quality of food was a disgrace. Do NOT waste your time or money at this “steakhouse”. Absolutely disgraceful. Then we got the bill the waiter snatched it out of our hand and had to recalculate it he was actually slow. Lied multiple times our food was nut free and was wrong each and every time. He needs to be fired immediately.
This experience was honestly embarrassing from start to finish. We had a reservation yet waited 15 minutes at a completely deserted host stand with no acknowledgment. When the host finally appeared, she walked us to a table missing a chair. Drink service was a mess. My husband ordered a Coke — it took 10 minutes to arrive and was diet, then another 5–10 minutes to correct. I ordered a glass of wine and never received it at all, even after our appetizers were served. To make matters worse, the non-existent wine was still put on the bill, and the server had no idea I never received it. Food was underwhelming at best: • Beef tallow fries were fine, nothing special • The meatball was very average • The wedge salad was so bad I would’ve thrown it straight in the trash if there were a can nearby Service was disorganized, inattentive, and unprofessional, and the atmosphere felt neglected and not worth the price point. Overall, this was a waste of calories and money. I will not be returning. Management should seriously reevaluate front-of-house training and basic service standards.
The worst experience I’ve had at a restaurant in a very long time. After we were seated, ignored by the server for at least 10 minutes. Trying to order drinks, he walked away. My husband didn’t get his Diet Coke until after his salad was served and finished. Items not available on the menu. (Wedge salad and Brussel sprouts). Prime rib arrived cool and baked potato barely warm. Sent it back only to receive well done.(ordered medium rare). Sent back again and received cool prime rib again. The server seemed overwhelmed, but the restaurant was 1/2 full. Manager was requested and responded to our table. I was offered a ribeye… as they were “out” of prime rib. It was delicious, but not what I wanted. At this point, I just wanted something to eat☹️. Our entire check was comped (as it should) and we left with a feeling of pure frustration. Sadly, this isn’t the same Faraday’s that we have enjoyed over the years and we definitely will not be back.
