Gelato was delicious and the vibes were excellent. There is a whole mini bookstore where you can browse and comfy couches. Fun beach themed art to look at. Lovely place to spend an afternoon!

Excellent coffee shop with a great range of things to explore and enjoy! I would definitely recommend trying the Affogato. The atmosphere is inviting and spacious. There's even a small bookstore in the front corner of the shop. Whether you want a hot or cold beverage, or breakfast/lunch item, you'll absolutely find something delicious here!!

It’s not often you find a coffee place that has a whole “nutty” section on their flavors menu. The service was friendly and fast, and my iced macadamia nut toasted marshmallow iced latte was so good! Will def be back next time I’m in town

Loved this place! The Baristas were sweet. When there was a mistake of me buying something they didn't have the one barista offered to switch it out or refund the item very quickly! Will come back when I am here again 🩷🩷

Very popular spot, always busy. The coffee was good. We had a coffee and a matcha. The matcha was already sweetened, which I didn’t expect. They didn’t ask, and it would be helpful if they mentioned that ahead of time. It felt like one of those pre-sweetened mixes, which usually means the matcha itself isn’t the best quality. Prices are a bit higher compared to the mainland, but that’s pretty normal around here. Overall, a decent place. The muffin we had was actually really good

Nice little coffee shop and gelato shop on the island. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. I stopped by for lunch and ordered the pepper house Beef and ice americano. Really good sandwich. Warm and spicy. Too me is perfect. Americano was great as well. Gelato bar was nice as well. Definitely will come back again when we are on the island.

When I lived in the area, Coffee Waves was one of my absolute highlights! This place is truly a hidden gem in Texas. From their expertly crafted artisan espresso drinks to the homemade gelato (perfect on a hot day), everything about this spot is top-notch. The vibe is cozy, and with free Wi-Fi and a great selection of pastries and paninis, it’s the perfect place to relax or get some work done. Plus, the live music on Fridays adds a special touch. Great food and personally love the seasonal coffees they offer! I tried the maple one they had and yum!! Haven't tried their gelato yet but that's next!

Everything I had from this place was delicious. Tried two muffins and two slices of pound cake that were very moist. The coffee was nice and fresh as well.

I really liked the gelato here, and it was super cute. We went in the evening for ice cream and they were super fast, let us try out flavors and nice.

Always love stopping by Coffee Waves — it’s always a vibe when you walk in and the coffee is so good! We got a decaf mocha Big Train with caramel drizzle and a caramel macchiato. The Big Train is definitely for you if you like super sweet drinks. I usually ask for half the scoops to make it less sweet, and that works really well. For food, we ordered the ham, egg & cheese (can’t remember the exact name) and an everything bagel with strawberry honey cream cheese. Everything was super tasty. The only thing I’d change is I wish there was a little more cream cheese for the bagel. Service was pretty basic — not super friendly, not rude — which we were totally fine with. Overall, it’s a spot we enjoy stopping at.

I shouldn't have assumed the smoothies were fresh so I was very grossed out when I saw the employee pour raspberry and strawberry liquid from a carton and blend with ice cream. Yuck

Wow was this place a disappointment. I asked to get my egg and cheese on a bagel rather than a croissant which was not possible. I don’t understand why it wasn’t but that was fine. We waited 25 minutes for our food to come out and the bagel pictured is what I received. It was hardly toasted and almost soggy feeling. And I had to put the cream cheese on myself so no idea why it took so long since my boyfriend only got the tomato basil which also had no meat… While we waited we saw the girl making food grab a spoonful of the gelato and eat it with the spoon hanging out of her mouth while she cooked food, her front hair pieces out and no gloves. Just overall not a great experience.

Today Hailey, store manager, treated us with such disrespect. We had ordered a small cup and asked for it to be split because I have 2 toddlers that wanted different flavors. Hailey was like “we normally never do this” and then proceeded to only put this amount in my kids cups. After I let her know that this was basically no ice cream at all, she said that’s what a split one looks like.. Didn’t apologize, didn’t make things right, nothing. Horrible experience.
