Ella very nice. She smiles as everyone entered and seated us right away, ensuring the seat she offered would work well for us. Mike was very accommodating- He had zero problem with me ordering from the kid’s menu. I had a gastric sleeve and can only eat small portions at a time. But many restaurants give me a hard time ordering from the kid’s menu. Thanks, Mike, for understanding and catering to our needs. I ordered hot honey chicken strips and-broccoli with cheese casserole. Mike suggested I tried the hot honey strips with ranch dressing, and it was very delicious. Bruce ordered a Monte Cristo with raspberry sauce. Mike informed us that they were out of the Monte Cristo even though restaurant had just opened. Mike said they all went out with to go orders. He gave us some of the extra special bread for our trouble, which was much appreciated. Bruce ended up ordering fish and fries with mushrooms. Mike offered us dessert and an invitation to return. Gave extra sauces for the hot honey chicken strips which were great since they look like maybe they were just rolled in a little sauce and a bit dry. I could tell Mike was a waiter for a very long time. He was personal, a great conversationalist, knew the menu like the back of his hand, and an overall excellent server. Thank you, Mike, for your expertise. We would highly recommend this restaurant and ask for Mike when you go. The restaurant was clean, music low, lots of parking and lots of food to choose from the menu.
We came here after another restaurant's wait was going to be nearly an hour. We walked right in without having to wait. The service, atmosphere, and food were all very good. The croissants are always amazing, as are their flavored teas.
This a good place to get a reasonably priced steak that is cooked to temperature and taste excellent. When searching for good vittles in Port Arthur this place is a sure win!!!
The waitress didn’t seem to understand the basic requests we had, she sort of went about her business completely ignoring my requests like I wanted my croissant to come out with my meal, but she brought it before any of the drinks! I just felt she could have been a better listener if she did what she nodded and agreed to after I asked. But great food, atmosphere was alright.
This was a great lunch stop. We had blackened fish and grilled chicken salad with pecans. Both were delicious.

I am always sucker for Cheddars and this one is no different. The service here was also phenomenal. If you have never been here you need to go. The honey butter melt in your mouth croissant is heaven. Some of my favorite dishes are the salmon, chicken strips, chicken fried chicken, and pot pie. All good quality and the price here is super reasonable. Also, you have to get the spinach dip, it’s to good not to get.
Alot quieter this go around and the server was more attentive than last time. Key west chicken and shrimp is the bomb as usual! Husband had the steak and tenders.
This place is my new favorite spot we got right in for lunch and the food was outstanding and the Maui Margarita was the bomb and the croissants were amazing I could go on and on the fried chicken sandwich was so juicy and the ribs fall off the bone I will definitely be going back.
The food, service, and atmosphere are consistently wonderful. This is our only real go to restaurant. We love the spinach dip. We always get that . I usually get the Monte Cristo, it's hard to pass up. The honey butter croissants are great. And there's the cookie monster is amazing as well. We also enjoy the fish tank. This time, we requested to be seated where we could see it, and they sat us directly in front and fed the fish for us. The staff is always very helpful and accommodating.
Great food and service. The baked potatoes were super small so they sent me two! We had spinach dip, queso, fried shrimp platter and the lemon pepper chicken meal. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Also had a to-go order and it came out at the perfect time. Very friend and efficient staff. We were in and out in no time but never rushed.

Great anytime. Food is usually top quality and staff are friendly. Flavored teas are very good. Hostesses are helpful.
Would definitely come back. The entire family found something they wanted to eat and enjoyed their meals which doesn't usually happen. Waitress was not overly friendly but not rude either and was fairly quick with refills and such. Margarita was overly sweet and really weak. I was really disappointed in the famous cookie dessert.... I thought it was cooked and served on a hot skillet.... It's not..lol. I would still eat there again as it's difficult to find a restaurant that my whole crew agrees on.
Our server was super rude and said they never had any croissants but the manager Sharon was sooo sweet and got us some in less than a minute, she is awesome.
Cheddar's is never a bad experience. You can count on quality food. The best croissants. I usually get the chicken pot pie it is fantastic. Love the carrots. This time I got the Dijon chicken with broccoli cheddar casserole and green beans. It was great!

It was not crowded, and it seemed like forever for our food to come out. There were 3 of us. We liked our food. We paid at the table. The waitress really didn't do much. But we tipped anyway. Service was decent. The idea of my meal was good, but I think the flavors didn't match well. Got the Dijon Grilled Chicken with garlic mushrooms. The Dijon tasted sweeter than I expected and didn't pair well with the mushrooms. But separated, they were both good. Using the honey butter croissants as a dessert was a good move for myself.

Today I ordered the New Orleans Pasta, for the price, I was very dissatisfied with my food. Three pieces of shrimp, four slices of sausage, and the sauce was very thinned out! The cook did a very bad job with my dish.

Oh Cheddar’s, I’m giving you a two star review because ultimately you’re a restaurant, and the food is why people come here. my food was terrible. In fact, most of it was left for scrap. I had the salmon and Caesar salad, and both were not at all satisfactory. The salmon was very “fishy” and the Caesar salad was just not very good. Also, I don’t particularly enjoy watching deer being hunted and killed while I’m eating my dinner. Service on the other hand was engaging and friendly so no complaints on service. The restaurant was virtually empty so plenty of seating.

So excited to get our favorite dinner from Cheddars and to say it was bad would be a compliment. Chicken fried steak looked and tasted like a $1.99 frozen dinner and my key west chicken was like rubber and not edible at all. There was barely 1 tablespoon of gravy in a half pint container. The baked potato was at least 2 days old and no dressing for my salad. Literally everything we ordered was beyond disappointing. Never had this experience before which is why it's worth the drive from BC. Never again!
OMG! I understand that prices on everything has gone up, but I am BEYOND disappointed in my all-time favorite restaurant, Cheddar's and will not be patronizing their business again. For the money I spent, this is ridiculous. 2 huge plates of girls chips, 1 very small cup of queso, and a condiment cup for the "beef" is crazy. The portions have been greatly, no EXTREMELY, reduced and there is no longer value for your money at this restaurant, sadly.
To go orders are a Rip Off. Grill Chicken Alfredo. Got extra Alfredo. Good thing because there was none on the dish. Paid extra for Alfredo sauce and got 2 spoons worth. Spinach dip. You know how big the bowl is. I measured. Its way less. All that for 29$ Overcharge you for nothing. Will not be back. See pictures
