I was pleasantly surprised when we ate here yesterday. The server was attentive and our food was fresh and flavorful. We had stopped going here maybe a year ago because the food and service had gone downhill. I hope this momentum continues.

We came to eat here for first time. I was pretty surprised! We order traditional fajitas combo for 2. It was slow, but our food was served in less than 5 minutes. Food tastes fresh and delicious. Will be coming again. One of the best Mexican restaurant in town.

First time visiting La Cantina Port Arthur locations. I went with about 70 other amateur ham radio operators for a Christmas party. Our dinner was at 7PM. There was plenty of sitting a nice size meeting room and restaurant appeared to be clean. For such a large group it seems there was two people taking drink orders, a young woman who I did not get her name, and a young man named Jesus (Jesse). Drinks orders came out in a timely manner but one of our guests had to asked for a water refill three times. Just like there were two people taking drink orders there should have also been two or three people taking our food orders. I was seated in the middle table, and our food order was not taken until 7:47PM. I just knew for sure we were not going to get our food until at least 8:30PM. However, I supposed with newer technology as soon as Jesse was taking the orders they must have immediately been sent to the kitchen. Because minutes after he arrived at our table to take the order the first table orders were already being served. Our food arrived at 8:04PM which was not a long wait at all. Everyone’s food came out hot, fresh, and tasty…and despite the delay I heard no gripes or complaints. Jesse was phenomenal!!!!!! He was levelheaded, professional, kind, helpful, and got every single order correct. There was only one small hiccup, and I think several people ordered the Pollo Loco, so one of the gentlemen at our tables was delayed in getting his full order of Pollo Loco. But I think after the waiter was notified his order arrived in probably less than 15 minutes. So overall I would say the Christmas party was a success! I will post a few pics I took of the inside of the party room and of some of the dishes. I would definitely visit this restaurant again.

I ordered a traditional fajita plate from here via Uber eats & it arrived to absolute PERFECTION! When I think of fajita THIS is what it should be! 1/4" x 1/4" strips of soft juicy fajita meat with no nerve & no tough chewy garbage...just pure quality meat cut perpendicular to the meat tissue so that it easily tears away with each savory bite. This is professionals at work...I get so tired of ordering fajita other places & getting thin sliced minced meat with chopped up nerve & fat...Thats fake fajita bs...might as well order ground beef! This place is world class & I will definitely be looking forward to ordering from here again! 💯💯💯💯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant! Such good food, fast service, and friendly staff. Our favorite menu item is the Polo Loco. I love that they offer steamed spinach as a side, as I'm trying to watch my carbs. Such a fun, lively atmosphere.

Very clean restaurant, I enjoyed the taco salad the chips and salsa. It was a great meal. It wasn't super loud which annoys me in some restaurants with the loud music.
