We shared the A1 burger and onion ring, and wings and fries. They were hot and delicious! We were too full for our street tacos, but I know we were planning on those for breakfast! The frijoles a la charra were wonderful!

This little place is in an old sonic looking building and I didn't have high expectations. I was wildly surprised when I saw the food it is amazing! The menu is just diverse enough to satisfy even picky eaters. The service is always great and the food!!! Wonderful food! you must try the baked potato. I had it on a day they featured carne guisada. Unlike any other I have had.

Torta cubana made the way is supposed to be, the bun was toasted just right, buttery and savory, filled with beef and chicken fajita and pulled pork.

Staff was very friendly and nice and food was awesome. Big portions and it was super tasty. I definitly recomend to visit that place

Great local restaurant in a former sonic. We had the Hawaiian burger with onion rings and the Enchiladas, all of which were cooked well and tasted great. The onion rings were huge!

Enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service. Ordered the classic hamburger with fries very delicious. My husband ordered the Mexican burger with onion rings very delicious also. We will be back.

Been in town a week now for work and have tried out many eateries and have yet to find one that I felt was worth it, until I found this place ! First of all, it has good prices, so tired of going in somewhere and seeing almost 20$ for a regular meal and not even getting much food ? But this place you get plenty and for a good price, and then of course its also really good ! Very home made style burger and fries. The staff give you that very southern friendly vibe! This is definitely my go to place from now on while im here for work. Had to add an update because I went again and got the quesabirria and it was perfect. Havent had any that good in awhile. Was a few different ladies in there today and again they were all super friendly 10/10

Service was excellent and very friendly, the atmosphere was great and the food did not disappoint at all from the chips and delicious salsa to the main entrée. This restaurant checked all my boxes for a small town restaurant. The parking lot was almost full, the place was filled with locals, and, the staff was friendly. I had the street tacos. The only picture I could share would be an empty plate. Each of the tacos had a generous portion of meat, queso fresco and avocado. The bowl of beans ranks among the best I’ve ever tasted. Each bite of taco transported me to Mexico City street taco scene. Their menu was varied and judging the food served to tables around me looked and smelled very tasty. This is a must stop if you like to be surprised by excellent food.

Loved everything about this restaurant. It's the best converted Sonic into a sit down restaurant, perfect set up with plenty of seating and good prices. Food was fresh and servings were plentiful. The server was attentive and went out of their way to make sure everyone in the restaurant was taken care of. Street Taco's were of good portions, and the bacon wrapped Extreme Hot Dog with Beef Fajita is the only hot dog I've had which filled me up and made me want to take a nap. A big two thumbs up.

This place is a hidden gem! The burgers here were amazing. The meat was very flavorful, and the sweet Hawaiian bread that they used made it taste perfectly! The piña colada was great, perfect mix. The onion rings are a mist have as they make their own batter. Overall, this is a must try place for the burgers, and I'm looking forward to trying their other plates on my next visit!

So good, and super fast! I don’t normally write reviews but this place was amazing. I got the potato with fajita beef, chicken, and bacon and it was all perfect, the best chicken, bacon, and beef I’ve ever had, and the potato itself was really good too I couldn’t shut up about it & trying to get my partner to try it. He got a plain cheeseburger w/ fries that were also great.

What a great mix and the bun was perfect. It didn't squish down to nothing. Whatever brand it was - they should keep using it. It held all the ingredients and a pretty thick patty, very well! And to top it all off, the prices are very reasonable. Will definitely be back when we are in town.

The burgers are huge and are ay a reasonable price. Of course the fries are not included so plan to spend money on that as well. The staff is always nice and on point with our orders. My coworkers and I go there so often, they know what we want! I've given other items on the menu a try and they are all worth it. All good prices, all the time. The only con people may have about it is the building that its in, and maybe the parking. Other than that, they have music playing, always super packed during lunch, and just overall good food. Keep up the good work!!!!!!

Food was good. Service was also good. We had soft chicken tacos and crunchy beef tacos. Fries were really good and the guacamole was delicious. ** Use a restroom before you go. Theirs is outside and the door won't shut and the wind catches it for a wide open experience!

Cool little place that appears to have been a drive in type eatery at one time. The food was quite good. I had a plate with three mini street style chicken fajita tacos. It was served with some excellent charro beans. I believe my friend had a carne guisada plate, and said hers was also very good.

We spent a Sunday afternoon looking a cars for our 17 year old son! Decided to stop in due to the reviews online! The food was great! I personally had the wings! Some of the best wings I have had! Son enjoyed the Mac and Cheese Burger! It was ginormous! Definitely will eat at El Mirador again!

Excellent hamburgers. Would recommend as one of the best hamburger places in our area. Our hamburgers included the A1 burger with mustard instead of A1. We also had a cheese burger which also exemplified the best example of a traditional burger. These were big burgers. Also had homemade onion rings which were good. The French fries were crispy and very fresh. We will be back.

Order at the counter or after being seated. Good variety. Large Drink cups Food was good. No frills atmosphere. Thanks for being Open New Years Day!

Food was really good, service was great, but when we went to pay, we were asked if we wanted to add a tip to our $ 28 bill. We said yes and before we knew it they had added a $10 tip. That's almost a 50% tip. We enjoyed the food and all but we will not be going back because of this outrageous tip. So if you go here just make sure to make sure you're not gouged on the tip.

We were pleasantly surprised the first time we're dined. Although we were not so lucky about 3-4 months later when we came back. We waited for over 30 minutes for our meal and watched another table come n go. No explanation, no apologies. Obviously understaffed but food was good enough that we will try again.

The food was really good. The place was very run down and was mostly clean. The food prices were cheap, however, they up charge you on your sides. It’s not like a traditional restaurant where you get a meal. The portions are smaller and the prices are cheaper. Skip this restaurant.

My hamburger patty was hard like it was pressed over and over whike being cooked. Came out like a hockey puck. Friendly folks and restaurant was very clean but lacking pizazz. Needs a face lift like so many other restaurants in Port Lavaca. People want good food and a nice place to sit and eat it. It cost so much to treat yo u r self these days. You expect a nice experience not just food.

Under new management and lower quality. Ordered wings Buffalo and lemon pepper. Very little sauce, alot of grease and no lemon pepper. Sauce seems to be watered down. Called about the order and was told I can come back, I said I was not coming back into town and their words was oh well. This will be my last trip there!!!!
