Potsdam Little Italy has excellent pizza and is one of the few pizza places in our area with vegetarian wings--which are delicious (especially the Sweet Thai Chili ones).

Probably the best and most consistent place for pizza and wings in Potsdam, they previously won best wings and it definitely shows. I really recommend the hot wings and sandstoner fries.

One of the best pizzas we have ever had and they don't skimp on the toppings.

The pizza was good and fresh. The waitress was very nice and the place was clean from the rest room to the register. Given the time of year I also really appreciate eateries that can manage to keep their floors clean.

I spent about 4 months eating Little Italy practically everyday, the food is great, can’t go wrong with the pizza but the poutine is amazing! The staff and the owner are helpful and friendly!

I’ve been going to college in the town for 2 years, and this place has become so much better! Food is great, friendly staff, and even the wait times on the phone are becoming better. Highly recommend for residents and Potsdam students alike!

Everytime we go to Little Italy our waitress always makes sure that she honors any special request, serves us with a smile, and we never leave there dissatisfied. My favorite is the maple bacon wings, pasta with meat sauce and side of alfredo sauce...Who am I fooling I could go on and on as I love all the food there...

Second time here and the service is superb! We are Asians and were treated with respect and hospitality by the staff unlike other bad experiences we had at other restaurants. Food is decent and affordable, we really like the buffalo wings! Will definitely be back again to try other items on the menu :)

My apartment is tricky to find. The delivery driver called directly to make sure my wings were delivered in an efficient and timely manner. Also, I asked for extra crispy, and friends......let. me. tell. you. !!..... The crispy crunch on these wings was amazing and they are NOT OVERCOOKED. Honestly the best pizza in the Potsdam area. Great service, and great food. I've been living in Potsdam and going to college here, and I love that they have late hours for people like me who are up late studying. The staff are so friendly and kind; I love coming in to dine as well!

Probably the second-best pizza in Potsdam--arguably better than Sergei's, and probably only beat by Mama Lucia's (which is much pricier). Their specialty (aside from good wings, I hear) is a crisp thin-crust pizza with good ingredients. Expensive, but generally worth it for an occasion or an outing. They have a restaurant section with booths, but it is rather cramped--as many of the stores on this road are. Order takeout and enjoy it in your own comfort.

I have ordered from Little Italy in Potsdam on several occasions. Recently, I placed a pickup order for myself and some friends. Overall, it was a great experience. Everything was ready when I arrived. The online ordering process was simple. The staff were very friendly. I enjoyed my create your pasta dish, one friend had a calzone, and another had a buffalo chicken pizza. The one complaint was that the Buffalo Chicken Pizza was definitely on the mild side. My suggestion might be to add a hot sauce or honey hot drizzle to the ordering options.

Hit or miss with this place especially when the owner isn't present. Seems like the employees give you below standard food when he isn't there. I ordered 2 orders of wings for take out and of course they are burnt. I won't even ask for a refund. Just a few days ago the employees gave me a hard time with giving me the blue cheese that I paid for. Luckily since the owner was there he didn't give me a hard time with the extra blue cheese. See the pattern? As I said before, I only receive good service when the owner is present. I won’t give any more chances and have decided to order food only when the owner is there. I was going to give a 1 star rating but I realized, I don't want to fault the establishment for the bad service of a few Incompetent rude workers. Update: I didn’t publicly post the review above because I wanted to give this place one more chance. It’s really disturbing that these workers are making such a fuss over blue cheese😂it’s comical. So I ordered another 12 piece and 6 piece bone in wings today 08/23/24 and ofc they are burnt . They remembered to put the one EXTRA blue cheese in the bag that I PAID FOR but forgot to put the two blue cheeses that are complimentary with each set of wings?? It’s as if they are intentionally sabotaging my order. It’s okay. I still won’t fault the owner but the workers are quite inadequate as usual. They insinuated that me and my partner are the blue cheese bandits. 😂 As if stealing 0.70 cent worth of blue cheese is worth the hassle. We are willing to pay extra for it. I don’t know if the workers are intentionally not putting the blue cheese in the bag because they are upset. I don’t get the problem but as I said before the owner is reasonable, the workers not so much.

Afternoon lunch with my Mom, we were cold and hungry, left warm and FULLy satisfied. Natalia was our server; she was super nice and very attentive. We had an incredible lunch and hands down the best poutine! Kitchen/Staff were great , this was by far the best Little Italy I've been to. Perfect spot for a quick bite & take out! My Mom got mild chicken wings w/blue cheese, and a house salad w/ranch, their dressings were PHENOMENAL! 🍗 😋🥗 My calzone was (pepperoni, mushroom, onion, black olive, and broccoli) HIGHLY, recommend. 😘🤌🏼

Every single time I've ordered from here I've had nothing but fantastic experiences. Friendly employees, great cooks, and great delivery drivers and service. Everyone here is always friendly and willing to go the extra mile for their customers. They're also notoriously quick to deliver most times while also following delivery instructions to the letter. The delivery drivers always leave a text or will call you directly to inform you of their drop off and every employee I've spoken with was always polite and welcoming! Highly recommend their wings and poutine. Their salads are also some of the freshest I've tried in the area.

UPDATE 08/29/2025 RIBEYE PHILLY CHEESESTEAK 🫨💓🔥 I just spent around 5 months in and around Philly this past year, have eaten more Cheesesteaks than I'd like to admit, and this is the most legit one I've seen in Northern New York! Most people think that a legit Cheesesteak comes standard with Peppers and or Mushrooms and that could not be further from the truth. 100% ! Highly Recommend trying this Cheesesteak as is and let it blow your mind! UPDATE 07/16/2025 OKAY! within the past few months the owner changed the dough recipe on their pizza and it is awesome! It's crispy and light. The ratios have definitely been dialed in. Also they have Cup & Char Pepperoni which is delicious. My absolute favorite is the Margherita Pizza cooked Well Done. Look at the photos! So good! UPDATE 03/14/2025 I lived in Utica, NY (Home of Chicken Riggies) for around 3 years of my life and I can say with confidence these are the best in all of Northern New York that I've had thus far and that includes Watertown. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've been coming here on and off for years and in the past there were times I had minor issues. Within the past 6 months I've been here a bunch and every single time I've had excellent food and service! The Garlic Parm Wings and Homemade Blue Cheese Dressing are by far my favorite items on the menu. I really do enjoy a nice well done Cheese Pizza from here as well. If you had a poor experience here in the past give them another shot like I did. I explain to them what I want and how I want it and they give me exactly what I want!

I stopped for lunch at Little Italy in Potsdam, NY expecting to get an average everyday pizza. Not the case. I was so pleased with my slice of “grandma’s pie’ that had pepperoni and hot honey. From the first bite I was wowed and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The crust was outstanding, a light yet crispy dough…. Made fresh daily I found out! It was truly an award winning crust cooked to perfection. Toppings were all fresh and deliciously balanced as well. Wow, what a nice surprise! The staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Not the best pizza I've had but definitely the best pizza I've had in Canton or Potsdam. Put Sergi's to shame wings are excellent with a wide variety of sauces although it lacks celery. If you're looking for a pretty good piece of pizza in the area I would start here.

We were a party of 8. Nice little place, took the effort to accommodate a dietary restriction for someone in my party. Only negative was the booth our large group was seated at seemed to be a bit worn down.

Get a slice or two to dine-in or to go and enjoy it in the park that's a quick walk away. Pizza is very good, cobb salad is good, but everything else leaves a little to be desired. We ordered a side of meatballs and they came sauceless (lol). Delivery using the app is confusing, they estimate 60-90 minutes but it came in 30 which was great, but still confusing.

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat. We started off with some garlic knots and they were actually quite delicious. I had a calzone with a few fillings. It was cooked well, however it was a little bland. Seemed like it needed some sort of seasoning. For dessert I had a cannoli, which was pretty darn good. (Seems like you cant go wrong with cannoli). The server was attentive and friendly.

The pizza had a nice but flavorless crust The sparse cheese and mediocre sausage did not have much flavor. The sauce was actually quite good but the overall za lacked seasoning. The egg plant parm was an ocean of too much sauce with a few stray morsels of egg plant and pasta. Overall it was not appetizing. The message loud and clear was "we do za, don't expect anything else to get creative attention. In a battle of little Italy vs Sergis , Sergis would win if they ever reopen. Dining options in Pdam are the worst ever.

I really like this place and it’s great if you’re visiting your son or daughter at college but the last time I went our waitress completely forgot about my wife’s wings and only came to our table to give us the bill and only then could I ask where they were.

It was the gals first day working at the pizzeria and she /they messed up our order and we had to wait another 25min to have it replaced. They did give us the pizza they made wrong which was cool but I think since we had to wait so long they didn't let the pizza cook long enough so it wasn't at its peak of pizza perfection. We put it in the oven the next day to reheat it and it was much better.

Even when its Facebook page says it is open... it isn't. What good is great food if no one can buy it? I'm not sure how most businesses are run but leaving your customers to guess as to whether or not your open doesn't seem to be the way to go.

Their pizza isn't bad, but it isn't the best either. It is too greasy for me and the grease covers up the flavor of pretty much anything else that is on the pizza. On top of this, there is usually one or two slices (~⅛ of the pizza) that are just giant air bubbles from the dough.

After i went and picked up my order i was almost home in norfolk when i realized my order was wrong,i ordered chicken alfredo and got fries. When i called them the lady i talked to legit laughed at the situation. Food was mediocre at best.the good part was they actually delivered the pasta all the way to my house and i kept the fries. But overall service and food not that great.

Biggest complaint the Hours don’t match with the hours posted. Takes a while to pick up the phone. The food is not bad. Definitely first choice for pizza in this town but doesn’t help when they are not open. Loss of business.

The food we ordered ranged between incredibly salty and completely flavorless. The calzone and pizzaroni(or whatever it’s called, it’s a fried calzone basically) were very soggy to the point that the fried one completely fell apart when my husband picked it up into a mess of slop. I usually get the calzone and I expect a little sogginess bc of what I like to get inside but this was pretty much a pudding by the time I got it and the cheese was unmelted. The buffalo fries were unbelievably salty. When ordering online it charges you for EVERY ingredient. The fries are suppose to come with cheese, blue cheese and a choice of wing sauce. But you have to pay separately for the wing sauce even though it’s part of the item. The staff were very friendly but there were multiple dirty tables that weren’t cleared so when a family came in to be sat they had to stand around outside waiting (they were still waiting after I left). The bathroom was absolutely disgusting with a dried puddle of urine on the area between the seat and the tank. I know this happens- but I went into the bathroom AFTER an employee left. Very disappointed with this experience, this use to be a restaurant I enjoyed but the whole thing was very disappointing. EDIT: the food made me sick, I’m assuming it didn’t taste right bc something was wrong with the ingredients.

After trying to order 4 times in the last 2 months these are my experiences: - I call over an hour in advance and ask for it to be done at 1130am, I get there at 1145 and it has not been started. This same thing has happened 3x before. - when I get there the person is on the phone trying to call in an employee who is over 30 minutes late for a shift, (happened 2x in my experience) - the food is good but if you don't have 20+ minutes after the time you needed your food for I wouldn't do take out.

Walked into a restaurant full of pizza oven smoke. Wasn’t going to stay but was from out of town … The service was ok. The food was not that good. Bruschetta was awful . Pasta was swimming in sauce and it was not hot. 😞 This place caters to take out pizza orders for college students. Constant traffic right past out table for take outs . It’s unfortunate .

I was craving for chocolate lava cake and saw that they have it on the menu and was excited to get it, but it’s just regular chocolate cake that was drizzled with chocolate syrup on top, didn’t have any molten chocolate coming out when I got to the middle. Their pizzas are great, but if they don’t know how to bake a lava cake, they shouldn’t have it on the menu.

Was in town for the evening and wanted pizza and wings. Pizza with bacon, sausage, pepperoni and the maple bacon wings. Pizza was doughy and bland. Maple wings were made with artificial maple syrup. The wings weren't even number of flats and drums, got 9 flats and 3 drums. Considering you can order all flats or drums for $3 more I figured they would be an even split on a regular order. Should have gone to the Pizza Hut around the corner.

After waiting 20 minutes past the stated delivery time, I called the pizza shop to see where our pizza was, only to be told it was on the way, it arrived about 10 minutes later.... COLD! I ordered online & delivery time was 80 minutes out, so we waited almost 2 hours for a cold pizza.

Their food is overpriced and only good SOMETIMES. They have an arbitrary delivery service based on how they are feeling that day. There are several better options nearby, I would suggest not wasting money here.

Got the wrong order twice and wasted 45 minutes worth of driving. The order I received was also very cheaply made for 45$ and the chicken was too dry to eat.

My son and I just came from there. First we got breaded cauliflower when we had ordered breaded mushrooms. strike one. strike two a couple that came in approx. 20 min later received there pizza before us. then about 15 min. later I looked and the cook was finally was making a pepperoni pizza. It was then I ask the waitress is that our pizza just going in the oven?? she said why yes. I then said what is going on?? we had ordered our pizza a long time before they even ordered there's. her response was the pizza maker is sick and they made him come to work anyways. I said really? well needless to say the pizza finally came and it was raw on the bottom of the crust. strike three. and also when the order of mushrooms came there was only ten of them for $4.25. also there wasn't what i would call fully cooked. the workers did apologize but I was still charged full price for everything. what a bunch of crap!! That was the last $26.88 I will spend there at LITTLE ITALY IN POTSDAM< NY . we was going 1-2 times a week.

If I could give ZERO stars I would!! Very rude person claims they have worked there the longest yet states he never heard of baked ziti that has rocotta cheese in it. Had the balls to call me hunny when I tried to educate them that what I got was just pasta with sauce and that's NOT Italian way to make baked ziti! He said well I'm Italian and only stuffed shelss has rocotta! I've never seen rocotta in ziti what do want us to do stuff it in the ziti? That just tops the hair on my pizza the one and only time I went there but ordering from them at least once a week is done! I'll never use them again!!

Delivery time they tell you is a lie and they do not deliver fresh hot food. The food is cold and it takes a couple hours to get to your food. Delivery driver has no manners either.

Don’t ever order a $23!! Thin crust Buffalo chicken pizza with extra cheese to deliver with extra blue cheese. They’ll end up giving you a dish of expired blue cheese, a cold, half dressed pizza with crusted cheese. On god, I have had better frozen pizzas at a Byrne Dairy gas station. I threw up what I chowed down and projected the remaining bits my stomach scrounged early into my toilet bowl as if I had a wide nozzles fire hose. After waiting on hold for 5 minutes, we ordered 1 cheese pizza for a get together. We waited 1hr and a half when they came with a pepperoni pizza, as there were several people who could not eat meat we couldnt take it. After waiting 45 more minutes we got a subpar cheese pizza with no sort of compensation.

Ordered chicken wings supposed to be 3 dozen medium bone in and a dozen boneless hot they were all bone in and no flavoring I wouldn’t recommend ordering from here and I definitely won’t be ordering here ever again time to find a new place for wings

Barely any cheese, the dough tasted like it was from a make it yourself kit, and too pricy for what you get. The boneless wings were just small pieces of chicken that were probably bought frozen and microwaved.

Me my wife and My son with autism came for a sit down meal. The chicken wings are usually amazing so we all got some wings, my son simply asked for his wings to be all flats because he has a sensory issue, the waiter was a nice young women who said she’d check if they could do it, and it’s been denied before, which isn’t an issue at all, but an older woman from the kitchen (not the waiter) came out and came up to my son and said “You get what you get kid, if you don’t like it don’t get it” we left immediately.

Went shopping today and We opted to go to Little Italy for supper.. Not a good night .. Little Italy is generally very very very good but tonight must have been an off night. I ordered deep fried mushrooms and ranch dressing OMG were they ever hot so i cut into them so they would cool down .. Delicious but i could not chew the mushrooms very rubbery ... I was not happy so i left them alone . Terry had about three himself and well needless to say i was right "RUBBERY " must have been a fluke !! I ordered a steak and cheese wrap and garlic knot rolls. Now Little Italy makes the best besides Italian Affair !!! I asked for warmed olive oil with crushed garlic so i could dip pieces of the roll in it .. The waitress said they dont do that .. I knew they did for i had had it that way several times prior. The garlic knot rolls were cold and it was to bad to for i like them very warm ... Terry did not care for them he preferred Italian Affairs garlic knot rolls.. I had to agree although Little Italy has good rolls but to night had to be a fluke... My steak and cheese wrap came and oh my was it hot !!! The wrap was so doughy i could hardly stand it !! I could not eat it for it was so doughy and i know this had to have been a fluke for i have eaten there and bragged of all the delicious mouth watering treats... Terry had a sub i cant remember what kind but he had a ton of mayo I swear it was a fluke !!! Janelle ordered spaghetti with meat sauce and one meat ball ! It smelled delicious !! Terry cut it up for her and i went to sit with her and help her along .. The spaghetti was cold to my amazement and the meat sauce was less than luke warm !!! I am telling you it had to be a fluke !!! There was a jar on the counter asking for tips for the cook .. We tipped the waitress for she was so apologetic ... I bet that was a fluke as well but for 37.00 who knew flukes were so popular

My family and I were visiting our old college town! We were so excited to eat at what was once upon a time our favorite restaurant! We ordered $130 worth of food and it was gross!! I wish I could get a refund!! We were all disappointed by the lack of taste and quality!! Chicken tenders were nasty! Fries with gravy were over cooked and disgusting! Poutine had barely any cheese and was expensive. Pizza was not what it used to be. When we went in to pick up the order, it was hotter inside than it was outside. The girl behind the counter was nice; however, she did not give us our pizza until we asked her. Overall, I’m saddened by this terrible experience and frustrated that $130 of my hard earned money was flushed down the drain. We will never return!

Ordering process and the actual delivery were fine. The pizza arrived COLD. Not hot, not lukewarm (which would still be fairly warm even after the delivery time because it's currently 75-80 outside...). COLD. Not sure if it was an issue of how it was cooked, or did the delivery person leave it under the AC vent? Either way, waste of $30 for a single pizza and an order of garlic knots. Shame that the competition in the area isn't any better. Looks like I'll just have to start making my own pizzas at home.

I've never really had BAD pizza until last night. Even 7-11's $5 pizza is alright, by comparison. I used to get pizza there all the time about 10 years ago and it was great. I ordered a 3 cheese pizza. Pretty hard to screw up, right? It didn't have pizza sauce, the cheeses weren't good, it was cold, and it seemed to (for no good reason) have enough garlic to burn my mouth and taste it 5 hours later. I'm a garlic fan, but this was tantamount to just eating garlic paste. I don't know how you screw up a simple pizza that badly. I could have just used stuff in my fridge to make a better pizza, and probably should have.

Placed an order at 6pm for two pizza rolls. At 7:10pm I called to ask if I could pick them up instead of waiting on delivery. I was told the driver was on his way with my order. At 7:30pm still no order so I called back. This time I was told they had no order under my name. After 10 minutes on the phone my order appeared and I was once again told it was on its way. Finally 10 minutes later it arrived!!!! Cold and soggy. The onions were not cooked at all. $33 and 2 hours later we ate a cold soggy barely cooked pizza roll. Never again.

The pizza was not good. They told us order would be delivered in 45 minutes it took over an hour. Our veggie toppings were raw and uncooked and pizza was soggy. It was as if a 5 year old made it. Just really not good whatsoever. However their wings are delicious.

This is the first time I’ve ever left a poor review for food, but honestly... we ordered the full three meats sub, a full steak and cheese sub and warmed garlic knots and it was pretty terrible. The garlic knots were literally just dinner rolls, which were undercooked and doughy topped with seasoning. The three meats sub which lists ham, salami and pepperoni was missing the pepperoni had a slice of turkey instead and one single slice of salami in the total thing. It was mostly filled salad and not what you’d expect for the price. The steak and cheese was not at all as photoed on the website, it literally was topped with 2 slices of sad American cheese unmelted. See photos. I will say the sub rolls themselves were tasty. That’s literally all I can give. There seems to be a number of places around this area which if you’re looking for a quick bite as we were, I’d highly recommend going elsewhere.

The “buffalo” fries arrived with no buffalo sauce. Literally just fries and blue cheese.. when we notified them they said “we tossed it in buffalo sauce” .. look at this pic. There is NO buffalo sauce. We also ordered eggplant parm, and they gave us a flavorless, soggy, eggplant parm sandwich..

I haven't ordered pizza here for a couple of years soni thought I'd give it a try. We ordered an extra large pizza with half meatball and half fresh garlic, mushrooms onions and peppers. We also ordered a dozen garlic knots and an antipasto salad. The salad was ok. It was what you might expect from a local pizza place. The garlic knots were also ok. One box was pretty good and the other six were clearly old and had been sitting around for hours. The pizza was absolutely disgusting. I love pizza and can forgive a lot of things, but this was raw in the middle. Clearly whoever is in the kitchen has no idea what they are doing. The meatball half was swimming in grease. It was pooled in the middle. The veggie half was soaking wet and clearly had not been cooked enough. I would have taken it back except my whole family was starving and so we choked down a couple pieces and threw out the rest see pictures below if you want to see what Little Italy in Potsdam is selling customers.

Very little cheese or toppings, mostly just crust and sauce. Literally a solid 3 inches of crust before you reach the cheese zone in many spots, which itself has huge crust bubbles that again have no cheese on them (see the picture). Unimpressive and unsatisfying, to be honest. Frozen is better if you're on the fence.

Places an order online and asked (in all caps) that my pizza have light sauce. Yet, when my husband brought it home, I see that it looks like it has extra sauce, not light!! I have GURD! Which means my stomach can’t handle a lot of sauce. I can’t believe I spent $18 on a cheese pizza I can’t even enjoy! I won’t be ordering from here ever again! If they can’t honor the customer’s requests, they should say that….so we can order from somewhere else. Very disappointed
