Wild West Diner was a fantastic experience from start to finish! The food was delicious and full of flavour, but what really stood out was the amazing service. Manager John was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. A true gem—5 stars all the way!

Went in on a whim didn't book. Tables available. Sat 6 comfortably. Lots to choose from on the menu. Ordered some starters and a burger to share (sadly no blue cheese on black blue burger) All reasonably priced. Good selection of kids stuff on the menu. Happy with the decision and would go back.

Popped in for lunch during our recent day out to the seafront. Staff really friendly and the food was of an excellent quality. Service was really quick without being pushy and we all enjoyed the meals.

I can't recommend this place enough! We initially went for an evening meal but the service was that good we came back the following morning! Wait time for the evening wasn't that bad considering how busy it was, the doorman advised around 45 minutes but to be fair we were sat in the dining area about 20mins later. We were served by the most loveliest waitress called Annie, she was fantastic, extremely polite friendly and helpful. She is a credit to the company! We will definitely be returning soon!

We've been here twice now and I have to say the food is fantastic. Arron you've done a great job with the food well done. Wayne our server was very kind and went all out for us. My friends birthday and they gave her something special! We really appreciate it. Thank you :)

Me&My partner walked in for dinner always packed during season times, really wanted to try here... very quiet due it it being out of season for blackpool, we was seated straight away with being offered any table of our choice obviously we choose the best booth in there why not?we was to spoilt for choice, staff member were very welcoming/professional making sure we were comfortable bringing over food and drinks menu for us, we both ordered the cheese burgers, mini dounts with drinks, decor was outstanding really looked western loved every minute being in there, service was spectacular smiles all round, our food was exceptionally very tasty everything was made from fresh burgers were soooo juicyyyy!! Salad&coleslaw was perfect, the chipssss I know there just chipsss but these chips were different they were soooooo good could get over how good they actually was ahah, dounts were nice a fluffy really went well with the chocolate sauce, worth every penny really filling we was stuffed after our food, definitely recommend!!!!

We went as a walk-in (without booking), and despite this, the staff moved swiftly to get us seated. The staff were friendly and helpful, working with a smile on their faces. We had the bacon and egg burgers. The burger was one of the best I've had, very tasty! Prices are on par with other places, and the service was quick. We will definitely be going back again next time we're in blackpool.

Delightful! Fastest service in the west, and although a bit pricey it's very much worth the punt. Highly recommend to anyone visiting that fancies splashing out on something different. Lewis our waiter was exceedingly pleasant and bent over backwards to make sure everything was satisfactory! Top job pal!

We had a lovely meal here. Staff were helpful in letting me know there was an accessible entrance and they also let me sample the chilli before ordering the chilli bowl incase it was too spicy. It was delicious! My partner had the grilled chicken with chips and salad. Massive portions for a very reasonable price. All the staff were welcoming and friendly. Music to match the scene was playing as a nice low level. Highly recommended.

Wow, just wow. I'll start by saying the food was immense, all fresh and cooked to order. I ordered half rack of ribs and half chicken, it was more like half a buffalo and half an ostrich. Cooked to perfection have absolutely no complaints at all. There was a little wait as they were busy but notified us while we were in the waiting area which was good. Rather be told of the wait instead of just being seated at a table and left for half an hour. I'll advise to try and not be seated by the door when it's windy, the door kept blowing open due to the strong winds. Nothing the staff could do, it's just one of those things so not a gripe at the restaurant just a little advice. Staff members were happy and very polite, it's table service only so they kept on top of their tables to make sure everything was OK.

Fantastic! I don't understand the poor reviews maybe it was a lot busier when they visited. We found the service exceptional. I mean really! I always say the staff were friendly and attentive but the lady that served us was amazing. She was always around but never annoying. We both had wings for starters. They were great. Only £3.50 for a bowl full. There was more than enough for a starter. For main courses, I had a bowl of chilli it was great. My partner had the half of chicken and chips. Soooooo many chips. Yes this place gives massive portions. All in all the whole meal including four pints peroni was less than 40 quid. Mega bargain. Will I go again. Yes please.

Super friendly, relaxing atmosphere. The chairs are in need of attention, but this does not detract from the level of service and quality of the food. Very reasonably priced and worth returning to. The food came quick and hot and exploded with flavour, this chef knows what he is doing. Well done to the team for an enjoyable lunch.

Visited for the first time on 07/02/26 was seated fairly fast by the lovely staff was handed menus and explained it was bar service the drinks were brought over by a polite lad and the food followed not too long afterwards wow!! The portion size was bigger than expected and the flavour and presentation was spot on the only negative i left with was the condiments cafe style cheap sachets of sauce didn’t compliment the great flavours of the food good food needs good sauce !

Went here for my dad's 80th there was a group of 20 so we pre booked our meals..all the meals came out together and everyone enjoyed what they had and the servings were very generous. The staff were excellent and they couldn't do enough to help. We all turned up dressed up to surprise my father which he loved.Everyone had a fabulous time from my 80 year old dad to my grandchildren aged 7 and 2 so a big thank you to everyone who made the night special

WOW—what an absolutely unbelievable place to eat! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was buzzing, the staff were bursting with friendliness, the music was perfect, and the food… OUT OF THIS WORLD! 🤩🤠 If you love country vibes, this is your new favourite spot—no question about it! The head chef didn’t just cook for us, he pulled out all the stops and went truly above and beyond. We left grinning from ear to ear! Honestly, this place deserves way more than 110%—it’s hands down the BEST place to eat in Blackpool. Incredible energy, amazing people, and the full country experience. Can’t wait to go back! 🎉🌟🤠🔥

Really impressed with this place! Food was great , prices great and the service is the best we have had anywhere in blackpool. I have dietary requirements and the staff were friendly and helpful which is not to be taken for granted as many other places are not. Another big point to mention is that the cleanliness was top notch I was very impressed, we ate out in another restaurant (i wont name )on the Friday and were treated to sticky tables and a "scan that code and order online" service. I would recommend this place 100% and will be back there very soon thanks I'd reccomend the loaded fries with chilli and cheese they were areal treat

Had a lovely first time here this evening, it was my friends little boys birthday and a lovely member of staff named Anton brought ice cream out for him and my little girl, he was very friendly and made our experience very pleasant, the food was very nice too.

Danny the bar man and john the server both was very helpful considering I am coeliac and made the visit very enjoyable. The chef even came out to re assure me on gluten free and made me feel safe and welcome. Well done and thanks for the amazing service.

Loved it here. We got in the restaurant quite late, around 9 and they were still cooking food. Chicken, steak and a burger and halloumi fries, delicious. We have to wait about 40 minutes as the food is all freshly cooked but we didn't mind. The decor is really cool.

My wife and I live in Blackpool and one every couple of weeks we get the Tram into town do some shopping and normally call in to the Spyglass Bar to have a couple of drinks and listen to the music which is normally exactly our taste and if it’s not a request to change it is usually obliged. This week after our drinks we decided to eat at the Wild West Diner next door which is owned by the same company . A member of staff who we later learned to be Danny immediately showed us to a nice Table beside a window. He asked if we wanted drinks but we just asked for water mentioning that we’d had a couple next door which caused him to ask if we had a receipt explaining that as it was a sister business he would be able to give us a discount. I didn’t have a receipt but he took our food order and applied the discount anyway saying he would pop next door later he also explained there is a loyalty card scheme for both businesses and gave us one for the Diner and later after he’d popped next door came back with one from the Spyglass. My wife and I were both very impressed with Danny It’s nice to see somebody who is doing such a great job when there are so many restaurants and bars that are staffed by people without a care

Booked for 20 people for a birthday and could not fault our experience here! Everyone enjoyed the food, it was out on time and the staff couldn't do enough for us. Thank you very much to all the staff and their hard work

We were a group of 4 sight impaired/Blind adults. The staff were so friendly and helpful in every way. Didn't get all the staff names that looked after us, but later in the day, we went back for hot drinks. Anton looked after us. Taking our order, fetching our drinks etc highly recommend in every way. 😊

Visited on 6th October for evening dinner. Booked online for 7.30pm. Was given a warm welcome and taken to our table. Everything was clearly explained about choosing from menu and then placing order at the bar. I thought this was great as there was a rather comprehensive menu, so it felt unrushed whilst I pondered over my choice for dinner. In the end I ordered a medium Rump steak and my partner the Chicken Palma. We both had drinks as well. The food was excellent, hot and tasty and a nice portion size. Thank you to Anton and Fran who looked after us, both of you were so welcoming, friendly and outstanding throughout our visit (I appreciated my birthday wishes as well). The restaurant was spotless throughout and well looked after. We both really enjoyed our visit, and will certainly visit again if we are in Blackpool in the future.

We stopped in for food when we finished work. Server told us the offers and we had a very tasty and good value couple of chicken burgers. Decent chips as well. Will be back at some point. 👍

Despite not being able to get seated during peak hour times, I can say on behalf of my whole family that this establishment is one of the best places I've encountered in Blackpool. Upon arrival, we were met with a server, who rushed us to one of the last tables in the restaurant. However, the table seemed to be leaning and wobbling as if it possessed its own tectonic plates. This issue was quickly resolved by a member of staff, who kindly replaced the table and striked a short conversation with us. Sure, we had to wait around 45mins for food during peak times, but 45mins is a lot quicker than other places during rush hour, and very impressive management. This restaurant brought my family together, and the wait actually made us all talk and learn about each other more, waiting isn't always bad, it's what brings you together. The food was absolutely banging, well cooked and decorated. I would highly recommend the chicken guijon with piri piri sauce, tastes exactly like nandos which is also an amazing quality to have within the restaurant. The drinks were also perfect, not the typical flat draught you get in other places, but one that fizzes for your meal. Lastly, Pete who is going to be restaurant manager as of December was probably one of the most sociable, hard working, calm managers I have seen in my 16 years of living. No matter how busy the restaurant gets, he was always calm and maintained both extra customers who were waiting for the next available seat and his colleagues with tranquility. He was especially helpful with getting us a table for us to eat and showed interest in us as individuals, not customers. Thank you Pete for making wild West diner a good experience for us, we will miss it very much 🫶.

I went here with my family a while ago, it was absolutely amazing!! I couldn't get over how lovely my bacon burger was! The portion sizes definitely were huge!! The staff were lovely and very helpful! There is also wheelchair accessibility which I was very happy about! I absolutely want to come back again for such an amazing restaurant!! :D

Very quiet but good spot for steaks and American style dishes. Staff friendly and efficient. Food was great. I had the surf & turf with the jalapeno poppers for starters and a very comforting apple pie to finish. OH had the garlic mushrooms with a massive t-bone steak and apple pie dessert. Absolutely stuffed. Would return.

Decent food but the service was 10/10 , my only minor complaint would be it's slightly over priced.

To start with the positives, this place is good for gluten free. All of the options are marked out on the menu so it's easy to figure out what you can have. We mentioned when we walked in that I was gluten free, and then when my partner (who isn't gluten free) chose his food they warned us that it contained gluten. I had a side of corn on the cob and it was amazing. They've clearly decided to just do corn on the cob, rather than trying to make it fancy and declaring it "vegan wings" or anything trendy like that. But they've decided to make it the best corn on the cob that you've ever had. It seems strange to be raving about sweetcorn in a review, but I strongly suggest you try it! The coleslaw was really good too. The portions were a decent size. My partner was impressed with the amount of halloumi in his burger and I thought the portion of corn on the cob was very generous. The bad points are that none of the hand dryers in the toilets were working. This contrasted with the baked beans on my jacket potato, which were strangely too dry. Usually beans come in a tomato sauce but there was very little sauce included. It hadn't even soaked into the potato. I don't like beans that are mmm mainly sauce and no beans, but these were all beans and no sauce. Overall it was a decent meal with excellent knowledge of allergens.

Visited here whilst holidaying in Blackpool for the week. I ordered the ribs which were pretty nice. They had plenty of bbq sauce on which was good as some places can be a bit skimpy. I feel for the price that portion size was a bit on the small side - I think the fries portion and coleslaw could have been a bit more generous. Nice setting which is on the seafront. Interesting decor. There wasn't any salt and pepper on the tables as these were being topped up, but we were able to get some when we asked the waitress. There was plenty of sauce sachets on the table which was good. My dad enjoyed his burger. It was a shame however that they do not do desserts

This was a fun little theme restaurant on Blackpool’s main drag. Pros: the atmosphere was fun a Western theme. The food was expensive but most annoying was the kids double cheeseburger meal and the bacon cheeseburger meal were the same size. Literally the only difference was the kids burger didn’t have lettuce pickle and tomato. Drinks were pricey and didn’t come with a refill.

L
Labra-Claws Avenue

Staff was pleasant - all with a smile. food was ok - nothing wow unfortunately. Unfortunately the WiFi didn’t work which would help support my SEN child. Plates taken when others still eating. Was pricey for what the food was. My child didn’t finish their pizza, when tried was heavy and didn’t feel cooked. Ordered beans but came with sweetcorn when questioned, ‘was there no beans - answered I am unsure’ Would possible give another visit, but wouldn’t rush back when in Blackpool.

Located centrally on the prom with good sea views the Wild West Diner setting is fun and the decor is not overly done. Disability access does seem to be lacking however. There was a large step into the main building, seating at this level is available but the main restaurant has further steps to get down to the bar and eating area. Another door which seemed to be more street level access was available but was closed with a not in use sign. So I wouldn’t be able to recommend for disabled visitors without further enquiry. The staff were good, however they did seem a bit miserable and could have been a little more welcoming. Pricing wise it was a average for the average food that they served. I had the hotdog which was a huge portion, the quality of the hot dog was good (not the best but still better than others I have tried) on first tasting everything seemed really nice but after a few bites the whole meal was excessively salty, from the onions on the hotdog to the overly seasoned fries. I can’t say it’s an authentic southern or western style food beyond serving hotdogs and burgers with some decorations around the place. The best part was the decent country music playing in the background. I’m not sure I’d go back but it’s worth a visit just for something different on the sea front.

We visited yesterday for lunch. It was very quiet in the restaurant, so we did not have to wait to be seated at all. The children both had hot dogs, which were 7 inches and filled their tummy's well. My partner had the nachos, which he said were good.. I had a chicken and bacon wrap, which was good.. we spent £50 odd, and you get what you pay for.. the theme and decor of the restaurant was very good and fun. The staff were friendly.

L
Lucinda Rose

Food was exceptionally good, however the waitress promised us the key to the baby change and after 20 minutes we realised she had been letting other babies in before us. Taking advantage of our politeness and therefore leaving our 6 month old baby to sit in her own mess. Despite the food being exemplary, you would never catch me dead in this establishment again.

Food same quality as weatherspoons but twice the price! Staff were nice service was ok

G
Grace Hargreaves

Service was bog standard, paying straight after ordering took away from the dining experience a little but oh well it’s minor. The food on the other hand was awful. Adults cheese burger and kids cheese burger, the burgers were black, couldn’t tell you if they were seasoned well or anything because the burnt flavor overtook everything. Burger buns were also burnt black, stale, extremely unpleasant to eat. Gross, hard chewy bits in the meat, I always finish a meal I’ve payed for even if it’s bad but i could only eat my chips served in the cliche frying basket. Food was also served on a baking tray.. strange, cluttered up the table not aesthetically pleasing in the slightest. If i’m paying £16 for a meal I’d like it on a plate. Salt and pepper presented in a scatty sauce tub on the table, the restaurant itself is lovely, nice ambience and decor but the utility choices and dinewear seems more scruffy and half arsed than rustic. We dined as a family of 4 very hungry, not often fussy and only 1 of us finished a meal. Unfortunately just about the worst food I’ve had in a restaurant ever, how you can make a simple cheeseburger inedible i’m not sure but it is really really poor.

Tried to get a table on a Sunday night but was told it would be a 25 minute wait for a table and then a 40 minute wait on food. Decided to book a table for Monday night instead. Spent just under £60 on a sharing platter and two beers. After 40 minutes waiting, the waiter told us there had been a paper jam in the kitchen so no orders had been going through. He could not tell us how long the wait would be from there. After about an hours wait, the food finally came out but it was missing the ribs which are listed on the sharing platter. The food was ok, chicken wings, goujons, garlic bread and fries all ok. Onion rings have a very strange flavour. I feel a round of drinks on the house would have gone a long way into appeasing us with the extended wait for food. The missing ribs and average food left us feeling very disappointed. This is clearly a restaurant that relies on decorations and not much else. Im sorry to say I would not recommend this restaurant.

M
Michael Parker

Overpriced and Underwhelming. Avoid if you’re looking for quality. We waited far too long for service in a nearly empty restaurant. The milkshakes are pre-made liquid mixes, and the burger patties tasted frozen and processed. The pricing is also incredibly high-over £5 for a large fountain Coke. We took advantage of the 2-for-£25 burger deal, which was the only reason the bill was remotely digestible, but even then, the quality didn’t match the discounted price. If you value fresh food and fast service, keep on riding past this one.

I honestly don’t even know where to go with review. This is possibly the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. We were seated and it took 15 minutes for a waiter to come over to take our drinks order, obviously due to this length of time we had also come to the decision on what to eat. We were then told we had to pay upfront due to the number of walk outs they get, this is hardly surprising though due to the poor service and food. Starters were okay at best, chicken strips were quite clearly frozen but Iceland quality, definitely not deserving of the £10 price point. As for the mains the hotdogs were boiled, bland and flavourless and obviously from a jar. You’d get better from any of the sausage peddlers on the pier for £3. My burrito was made with uncle bens microwave rice (pictured) and steak that was both overcooked and devoid of any form of seasoning. There isn’t enough languages in the world to describe how bad it was. It won’t shock you to hear that non of the waiters went to any of the tables to ask how their patron’s meals were. I can only imagine this is out of sheer embarrassment. I’ve read other reviews and have noticed the owner will try and discount and discredit peoples reviews. But I assure you all are justified, as someone who has worked in brasseries and gastro pubs for a number of years if you would like to get in Touch I’d be happy to give you some pointers so you can sleep well at night knowing you aren’t ripping off the general public for substandard meals and an embarrassing dining experience. PS it’s also £7 for a pint of peroni, at least Dick Turpin wore a mask

M
Malcolm Boughey

£89 for 1 starter and 3 meals. 2 had chicken burgers chicken dry as sticks. I had mixed grill at £28 chicken dry gammon was grey and tasted of nothing steak like rubber and Cumberland sausage was a cheep pork sausage also had a mushroom frys and a corn on the cob a tomato the size of a cricket ball. Not a very good experience for £89 was worth £30 tops.

A

Shocking. We sat down and was given the menu's but waited ages i thought i must have to go an order myself and give table number. We ordered the £10.95 onion ring starter for 2 ?? I could of eaten it myself. Then we both had jacket potato with texan chilli. I thought it would have loads of chiili topping NOPE about 2 tablespoons of chilli. Even with 2 packs of butter in it. It was dry as hell. And the jacket was still abit hard inside not nice and fluffy. What sort of chef's have they got that can't even cook a jacket potato correctly. Absolutely terrible and that texan chiili no sauce to it at all and no kick of flavour. Almost £9 wow. Some reviews are quite good but our experience was NOT. Sorry but I'll never go back again

Good evening Firstly I am not one to complain or write silly reviews on web pages, but god I am so so close . Turn up at 7.35 to be informed that there wasn’t any tables for 30 mins, why don’t u go next door and get a drink and keep the receipt and get 10% of your meal I was told but that never happened. We pay £15 for two drinks and then come back through and get seated at 8pm. I ordered food at 8.15 and was never told there is a long wait for the food to arrive. We were was still waiting at 9.10 for the STARTERS to arrive I spoke to two different people who both said the starters are on its way. Then we get a shock and get both the starter and main at the same time to which we didn't requested at the time of ordering as when ordering I had asked for potato skins which is a starter and I asked for nacho’s which was a main dish to have as a starter. I informed the man taking the order and was told that’s not a problem. When the food arrived I asked in a very polite way why has it arrived at the same time and there is no way I want it together. I was approached by 3 people at once to stand over me while I was seating down and one server told me that I asked for all this together to which was a total lie. I don’t lie both myself and wife are serving police officers and wouldn’t behave in that manner. We had two tables around us laugh at me and my wife and make jokes saying that’s a lot of food to eat at once . One of the tables was behind me when ordering and confirmed what I said to the man and they had messed up badly. To be embarrassed in a restaurant because of no fault of my own is totally unacceptable in any way. One staff member Dillion (Irish )was the only saving grace in the night and was totalling agreeing with myself and was very apologetic and couldn’t be more helpful but due to the meal being paid before food arrived I would of left before food arrived. Please help me understand how I spend around £100 in your restaurant and to be made to fill so stupid and embarrassed .
