SO GOOD! The location is beautiful, the food is fresh and the staff were attentive. We ordered fresh juice, espresso and the Enfrijoladas with chicken tinga…. It was spectacular.

Mayakita is a beautiful restaurant on the Isla Mujeres island while driving to the southern point of the island. Everything was just perfect there, the food, ambience, view and the staff. Their focus to presentation of the food was amazing. It is a must visit on the island. Highly recommended this hidden gem.

Definitely give Mayakita a try! We went for breakfast and it was delicious! Big portions and fresh ingredients. The staff was very friendly. The margarita was a little tart, but still good. We had the Happy Waffle and an omelette.

In February 2026, I visited here for breakfast with my granddaughter and her partner because this is their favorite place to eat breakfast here on the island. What a treat this was! they like to order everything on the menu, lol and we share. Everything arrived picture-perfect and was so full of flavor! I ordered an American breakfast (after a week here, I wanted a change). My croissant was better than in the states, the eggs were cooked perfectly and the bacon, wow! And the bowl of fruit was plenty for all of us. I tasted their dishes and all I can say is that this place has the best cooks! We ate outside in perfect weather, had an amazing server who remembered them from their last visit to the island! Don't pass this place by - mark it on your agenda as a must-see!

Amazing views and good food. If you’re looking for a good cup of coffee… you won’t find it here. Lol. Sorry to say, it’s just Mexican coffee. But my huevos rancheros verde was fabulous!

Specializzato in colazioni. Fronte mare con tavoli in terrazza vista mare, altalene come sedute e tavoli all interno con ventilatori a soffitto. A pochi metri dalla altro lato della strada si trova la spiaggia rivolta ad est. Si mangia in maniera deliziosa, ogni piatto é preparato con cura e i prodotti sono freschi. É presente un piccolo parcheggio per auto e moto e sorpresa inaspettata si puó pagare anche in Bitcoin!

Ayer fui con mi familia a isla mujeres y mientras la recorríamos nos encontramos con este fantástico restaurante. Al entrar se puede observar una decoración bellisima que te da un sentimiento de comodidad muy lindo. Luego, el personal que nos atendió fue muy amable! Y al entregarnos el menú, no podíamos creer los precios!! SÚPER baratos ❤️. Cuando nos llegó el pedido, la comida estaba espectacular, sabrosa, con buena presentación y abundante. Este lugar se merece las 5 estrellas porque enserio fue muchísimo más de lo que esperábamos.

Un rico desayuno acompañado de una excelente vista. Al frente tienes la playa para caminar, sentarte y relajarte. Un buen parche con amigos, no solamente para desayunar, sino también para comer y tomarse unos buenos cócteles.

Nos quedamos en Mayakita para celebrar la despedida de soltera de una amiga y la experiencia fue mucho mejor de lo que pude haber esperado. Las villas están HERMOSAS, cuentan con todo lo que necesitas para pasar un excelente fin de semana (considerar llevar lo que vayas a consumir o consumir en el restaurante). Cuentan con alberca, roof top, servicio de restaurante y bar. La vista es hermosa, la atención increíble, el sabor de la comida muy bueno. Todo espectacular.

Magnifica atención y el lugar es maravilloso. La dueña o hija de la dueña( señorita rubia) tuvo el mejor de los detalles con toda mi familia, llegamos al restaurante a la 1 pm a 1:10pm ya se había terminado la hora del desayuno y solo estaba la cocina preparando platillos del menú de almuerzos y cenas, pues la señorita en cuestión habló con la cocina y listo, nos dieron menús de desayuno y prepararon nuestros platillos de desayuno fuera de horario , gracias por ese detalle tan grande! La comida es deliciosa y las bebidas también, tienen buen café y sus smoothies de agua y leche sin deliciosos!!!!!

Another great breakfast today! We had breakfast at Mayakita, and everything was excellent. The fruit plate was incredibly refreshing and beautifully presented. I can’t remember the name of my husband’s dish, but it was absolutely delicious! The French toast was light and fluffy, and the fruit sauce on top added just the right touch of sweetness. I had the Motuleños eggs, and they were prepared perfectly—the rich, flavorful sauce paired with the crispy tortillas made for a standout dish. We’ll definitely be coming back!

One of the best places for breakfast on isla Mujeres. Has the best scenic view and great super helpful staff. My husband and I came here almost every other day for breakfast it was great quality and portions. I eat eggs, sunny side up, delicious and husband got meals with chicken perfectly cooked and tasty. All their waffles and French toast meals had powder sugar and two options for add on, maple syrup or honey, both delicious. Just can’t say enough it was great. Meal about ~700 pesos for 2.

This is a unique restaurant offering an amazing combination of delicious food, fantastic views, relaxing vibe, and friendly service. There is inside seating as well as an outdoor deck that is literally a few dozen steps from the ocean. There are even a handful of cool rope swing seats for more casual seating facing the ocean. We stayed next door at the Mayakita Villas for a week (highly recommend staying there as well) and ate breakfast here every single day as well as lunch once. It was so good we genuinely looked forward to breakfast daily. Every single meal we had throughout the week was amazing, from steak and eggs, to avocado toast, to waffles and fruit bowls. We had a variety of different smoothies (in addition to coffee) every day which were also delicious. Service was outstanding and everyone was super friendly and welcoming. The staff could easily communicate in both Spanish or English. As an added bonus, they are the hub of the BTC Isla initiative so they gladly accept Bitcoin for payment (in addition to pesos, USD and credit cards). Overall, I cannot say enough good things about Mayakita, it was a major highlight of our trip!

We enjoyed the green juice, iced lattes, espresso over ice and enfrijoladas and fresh fruit. They let us have the four enfrijoladas with two eggs and two with chicken tinga. We had a list of several places we wanted to try for breakfast, but we liked this one so well that we ended up going back. Everything was delicious, but definitely try the French toast. That was the best thing I ate on the entire trip. The mango smoothie was great, too. Staff was friendly & attentive, also.

The food was so amazing. Add this spot to your Isla restaurant list! It was fresh and delicious. It’s a gem on the South end of the island. Anyone should definitely visit for breakfast and lunch, watch the ocean waves and enjoy the juice bar too. Waiters were very friendly and prompt. We ordered lunch for take out two days in a row too! We came in for breakfast, and we enjoyed our food. Everything was prepared fresh, and it had good flavor, I had huevos rancheros. My husband had the mayakita combo with pancakes, eggs, chilaquiles, and bacon,we got french toast for my daughter, and this one we didn't think was anything special, but it was good just like any other french toast out there. I got a mango smoothie, and it was very refreshing. We enjoyed the view as well. The service was a bit slow even though we were only the third table, and we had requested a side of beans that we never got. Overall, we would come back again

Great food, beautiful presentation, good sized portions, kind staff, beautiful view. A little disorganized but it was a busy morning. Didn’t get the juice we ordered until the meal was completed and no apology offered or price reduced. Really they should have just comped the juice. All tourist clients. Prices reflect that and are high. A $50 breakfast for 2.

Un lugar tranquilo, con buenas vistas a la playa y algunos asientos de columpios que ayudan a relajarse y dar un toque más especial al lugar. Las hamburguesas están bien completas (aunque no son nada especial, quizás si el pan no fuese comercial, estarían mejor) pero las presentaciones, tanto de las hamburguesas como de los demás platillos, son muy buenas. El servicio es bueno, el lugar está muy limpio (también los baños) y la zona para lavarse las manos, con caracolas, es muy original! Es, también, un poco caro, pero al estar en el lado este de la isla, no está tan concurrido con turistas y es bastante más tranquilo

Hermoso spot con hermosa vista, la atención estuvo bien. En cuanto a la comida, el Sandwich mayakita estaba bueno, pero podrían mejorar el pan ya que se nota que es el Bimbo. Las demás opciones eran casi todas con tortilla de maíz, estaría bueno sumar más opciones para quienes no comemos esa tortilla. El batido de fresa estaba caliente, pero el jugo mayakita estaba delicioso y frío. También comimos un plato de frutas, que estaba bien.no excelente.

Es un lugar re lindo con una vista increíble el menú es variado pero la atención es re lenta tardan tanto en traerte lo que pedis y sin criterio casi cuando terminas de comer recién te traen los jugos y café que pena !!

La limonada no la pueden seguir vendiendo, es agua con un chorro de limón, parece agua sucia nomas. El taco de arrachera no se pudo ni comer, la carne parecía un chichle, y encima carisimo todo

Nosotros pedimos wafle el que viene con tocino y dos huevos, vimos bien el menú y le aclaramos que queríamos eso, a la hora de cobrarnos la mesera nos cobra todo por separado por que ella alega que no digimos la palabra feliz, es decir un platillo que en el menú está a $245 Mx nos costó $345. Le explicamos y no quiso corregir el error. Sumado que el servicio no fue bueno dado que entendemos que estaba lleno el lugar, mayakita es Hermoso y la comida muy buena y abundante.
