Awesome spot for a coffee and fresh drinks. We went in the morning and the ambience was beautiful. Drinks were also very tasty. Highly recommend!

Can’t highly recommend this place enough. I would’ve come here every morning if they were open Mondays. The homemade milks are INSANE and actually have flavor. Sometimes people make them and they taste of chalk, not here. Come to Arcana for an incredibly filling and nourishing meal accompanied by amazing service.

Tolles kleines Cafe in meiner Lieblingsstraße in ganz Playa (Calle 38). Ausser standard Cafes werden hier noch sehr gewürzreiche Getränke angeboten. Rein Vegan, sehr empfehlenswert. Die meisten Getränke können kalt oder warm hergerichtet werden. Es gibt ein Regenwaldwasser was sehr stylisch ausschaut

I had an Acaii Bowl and a fresh pressed juice. Both were exceptional and I plan on going back while I’m in Playa Del Carmen.

I had such a great experience Arcana! The space is so tranquil and beautiful, it reminded me a lot of Tulum. We didn't know we were looking for delicious, healthy and nutritious food until we stumbled upon this place. We ended up visiting this delightful cafe every day feeling sluggish and left each time uplifted. The bowls are sublime. The service is excellent. This place is perfection!

Stumbled across this place on the way to the beach. Just popped in as I saw they served vegan milks. Got a delicious iced coffee and the best smoothie I’ve had out- it was thick and delicious filled with nut butter, fruit and dates. They have a range of plant milks for drinks and also sell spiced plant milks to take home. We sat and had our delicious drinks in their cute little jungle garden. Wish I had longer in Playa del Carmen to try more of their smoothies!

Ein tolles kleines Café. Man geht schnell dran vorbei, weil es recht schmal ist. Aber es ist sehr gemütlich, da es nicht überfüllt ist, schön gestaltet ist und vor allem hervorragendes Essen hat. Ich liebte den Moka & Reishi Master. Das Kibbeh mit arroz integral sowie die Bowl war ebenfalls toll. Ich habe dort jeden Tag meines Aufenthalts in Playa gegessen! Absolut empfehlenswert!

Loved everything about this spot! Such a cozy jungle atmosphere to stop in to take a moment to nourish yourself. I loved seeing all the middle eastern influences on the menu within the ingredients. The added tahini in my smoothie was so delicious! I wish we had more time in Playa Del Carmen to taste more of the menu!

A delightful little gem on Calle 38 near the beach. The atmosphere and design is divine… Located beneath a tropical jungle with a perfect shade of pink paint on the walls. 🌺 And the food and drinks were delicious everything is carefully crafted. More and more we are learning that vegan food in Mexico is where all the flavor is! 🌍

Très jolie restaurant calme et apaisant. Les plats sont pleins de saveurs. On nous offres des petits toasts à partager il y en avait 6. Les lattes sont aussi excellent surtout celui à la rose que je conseil. Le personnel est souriant et très agréable.

He visitado varias veces Arcana y todas han sido buenas experiencias, me encanta el ambiente que tiene, muy tranquilo, acogedor y fresco, si hay mal clima tienen una sombrilla para 1 mesa pero es completamente al aire libre entonces es algo a tomar en cuenta, la comida es vegana y gluten free, no soy vegana pero este restaurante me encanto, los waffles son mis favoritos, el avocado toast es riquísimo y en cuanto a bebidas su Espresso tonic me encanta, lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Un brunch diferente, en un pequeño punto de Playa sobre la 38 se encuentra Arcana. Tiene influencia Armenia 🇦🇲, la mayoría de sus platillos tienen un toque picante ya que son hechos con especies. La mejor hora para ir es a la 11 por que ponen a disposición mas platillos . El trato de los trabajadores es amable y servicial. Buen ambiente y música con volumen ideal. A pesar de que está entre los árboles no hay moscos. (Se agradece)

Sin palabras de lo bueno que esta todo.... este restaurante vegano esta delicioso ya saben no soy vegano pero como de todo. El waffle gluten free esta delicioso y el smoothie de papaya wow 😍 😋 🤤 . Si estan por la 38 y quieren desayunar o almorzar rico y saludable este es el sitio además que esta super bonito todo el lugar. Y el personal super profesional y muy atentos todos. 100% recomendado.

Mi esposa y yo venimos de vacaciones desde Vancouver BCEn donde soy Chef de Cuisine. Yo soy originario de Puebla y mi esposa de Polonia. En los últimos años hemos querido cambiar nuestros malos hábitos alimenticios y dejar las harinas, almidones, azúcares y endulzantes industrializados y altamente procesados. Nos sorprendió mucho que ARCANA ofreciera Gluten Free Waffles en un lugar tan abundante de comida chatarra (sin ofender, pero Playa del Carmen es muy abundante en este tipo de comida). Nos alegro mucho saber que existía esta excelente opción. Lo recomendamos muchísimo y en especial la atención de Berenice y sus colegas de trabajo en la cocina. Enhorabuena para el equipo de ARCANA, seguro regresamos.

This place is the best in Playa del Carmen! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the outside area is cosy and neatly designed. With fans and shade provided by the trees, it’s a great spot to cool down. They also have a delicious and healthy menu offering vegan and gluten free options and great coffee. Wifi is good.

This has become one of my favorite breakfast places. The atmosphere is quite dreamy (completely outdoors) with trees that provide adequate shade even on the hottest days. The service is great and the food tastes fresh. I only wish we had a location where I'm from but that just means another visit during my next visit to Playa.

Arcana has great vegan AND gluten free waffles that were really delicious. The lattes were also yummy and their little backyard is adorable. They don’t have any indoor seating though. It’s a bit on the pricier side, but a great pick for vegan breakfast. I loved sitting outside, but per the restaurant’s policy, you’re not allowed to work on your laptop, so it’s not exactly a place you’d go to get work done.

Cute little restaurant! Was craving a smoothie bowl and it was very refreshing. Had their tumeric, ginger & pineapple juice that was delicious. Restaurant has lots of shade from the outdoor trees which i appreciate. So close to the beach too!

Beautiful outdoors seating, amazing fruit bowl selections, drinks and more. The staff was friendly and helpful when trying to decide what to order. The waffles were super delicious but you can't beat the fruit bowls. Great spot for couples, small families or a single person. It would be great to hang out and work while eating but they don't allow laptops, not a biggie! Great healthy food and service!

Enjoyed an outstanding breakfast here while on holiday in Playa del Carmen. The outdoor seating area is beautifully leafy, and service is to a very high standard. Both brunch dishes were exceptionally fresh and tasty, and the juices not too sweet. We also got daily coffees here to takeaway - the vanilla soy milk was delicious. Well worth a visit to this haven of calm just off 5ta, and we will be back!

I love finding new Vegan places and Arcana is one I'll be coming back to over and over again. We arrived with no real expectations and left big fans. Customer service is great, friendly staff and the design is fresh and we could easily hang out all day. We kept it simple, ordered the Acai bowl, bean soup and a couple of drinks. Love the middle eastern influence, the Acai bowl was full of flavour and we'll balanced. Bean soup was light but filling, we did add a little chilli but that's just us. The Hemp milk was delicious and will be back just for that. I love my black coffee and this was the only thing that could improve, its not bad but for me, they could find a better roast. No kids just our dog, who was welcomed with a fresh bowl of water. Please support this lovely vegan place.

This is a solid vegan restaurant with delicious breakfast options. The menu runs sweet, so you need to be in the mood for sweet food, and because it’s vegan you can’t go expecting a milky coffee (lol). But it’s a very beautiful atmosphere and chock full of delicious fresh fruits. Try the espresso tonic and the waffles.

Muy buena opción para desayunos en la calle 38, la más linda de Playa del Carmen. El lugar es abierto y cuenta con muchos árboles que hacen muy agradable sentarse a disfrutar de un buen desayuno o almuerzo a cualquier hora del día. Los precios son un poco elevados pero la calidad de sus alimentos es muy buena. Muy recomendable si quieres comer saludable.

Los mejores waffles gluten free que he comido, lastima que la atención deja mucho que desear. No fueron groseros pero tampoco hacen sentir cómodo a uno.

Les smoothies sont biens quoique un peu dispendieux, il y a beaucoup d'autres bonnes options à Playa Del Carmen... 135 pesos ! Quand même ! Ils ne sont pas compétitifs, on paie pour la situation sur la calle 38 ... Le resto est très mignon mais les chaises sont placées drôlement et à l'avant ce n'est pas très confo. Le service, on a l'aire de déranger... pourtant , pas de clients chaque fois que j'y suis allée. Je ne suis pas américaine et je ne voulais pas parler anglais, la fille n'arrêtait pas de me répondre en anglais... Un peu plate parce que ma langue n'est pas l'anglais, peut-être mon espagnol n'est pas parfait mais bon, il y a d'autres types de voyageurs que les Américains... Je sais que ce n'est pas pour mal faire mais au bout du compte, elle était assez froide la dame. Un gros bof!

Oh c'est ma première déception à Playa del Carmen, et pourtant cet endroit m'avait fait de l'oeil dès le début du séjour! J'avais planifié ma visite puisqu'il n'est ouvert que de 8h à 16h et normalement je n'ai pas faim pendant ces heures-là, donc dès la veille j'avais prévu y aller en début d'après-midi! La terrasse arrière est jolie mais parfois il y a des effluves nauséabondes... Lorsqu'il a plu, le couvert des arbres nous protégeait bien. Malgré une salle vide (en fait, qui s'est vidée vue la lenteur du service et de simplement prendre les commandes), ça a pris un bon 10 minutes avoir les menus (on aurait pu nous les donner dès notre arrivée?), un autre 15 minutes pour prendre notre commande (les 2 smoothies qu'on voulait, on ne pouvait pas les avoir, il n'y en avait que 2 sur les 6-7 qui étaient disponibles... Genre d'info utile à savoir dès le départ 🤣) puis une bonne demie heure avant de recevoir nos simples smoothies. À ce moment, il n'y avait qu'une seule autre table de 2, je ne comprends pas tous ces délais! Les smoothies étaient bons, mais nous aurions préféré nos premiers choix qui n'étaient pas disponibles. Au moment de commander, comme ça faisait déjà près de 30 minutes que nous attendions nous avons tout de même pris les smoothies disponibles non choisis mais tsé. Bien sûr pendant que nous avions nos smoothies, la serveuse n'est jamais revenue pour nous demander si c'était bon ou si nous étions satisfaits, ni même si nous voulions autre chose. Lorsque nous avons terminé, nous avons attendu un peu pour recevoir la cuenta, mais pas de serveuse en vue. On s'est donc finalement levés et préparés à partir (et bien sûr, en payant avant) et c'est à ce moment qu'elle est apparue. Aussi, à 145 MXN pour un smoothie, j'aurais pensé qu'il aurait été un peu plus grand. Mais il était très bourratif alors ça va.

Vine a desayunar aquí un sabado y si bien mi bowl estaba bien, la carta es reducida y la chica que atiende tiene que correr para atendernos a todos. Eso hizo que fuera algo incomodo, no volvería.
