Un excelente sitio para cenar en Playa del Carmen (Cancún). Con una carta variada y unos platos muy bien presentados, y un ambiente super. La atención del personal es más que buena, con una explicación detallada de cada plato y las instrucciones de cómo degustarlos. No dejes de probar el mezcal reposado con una tabla de frutas, especias y chapulitos; un postre exótico, sabrosísimo además de digestivo. Muy recomendable.

Venimos por segunda vez y es uno de los mejores lugares de playa del Carmen, los drinks, los costos, el servicio (en playa no siempre de tiene buen servicio y aquí es excelente) el lugar, la música, soy muy exigente y este lugar en verdad es de calidad. El cantinero Fausto Pablo y Luis es excelente. Si buscas un lugar súper cool en playa este lugar es el indicado al 100!

Me encantó este lugar. Es tranquilo pero ponen buena música. Las mesas del fondo están al exterior con sombra natural de árboles. El menú es variado y rico. En especial recomiendo el taco Gobernador que, como indican en el menú, será el mejor que hayas probado. El lugar es pet friendly y apapachan mucho a los lomitos. En las noches hay música en vivo. Recomendado! Regresé a escuchar a Ruby Project y qué buen ambiente! Súper recomendado. Cáiganle todos los viernes de 7 a 10 pm a escuchar un poco de rock-pop en inglés y en español 😎

Precioso restaurante en la calle 34 a pasitos de la quinta avenida, cómodo, espacioso, buen patio, buena música. La comida recomendable, buenas porciones, precios acordes. La atención siempre espectacular de todos los chicos/as que atienden siempre con una sonrisa. Buena cerveza, recomiendo la pata de elefante, bien fría.

Cutest little restaurant in Playa del Carmen. The shrimp burger was something new for me to try and it was amazing! It rained while I dined so the open to the sky outside sitting area made for a cooling experience inside. Very peaceful and the Bloody Marys are delicious! They lost power, but they continued to serve me.

** Updated for 2024** Zitla Ceiba was a huge disappointment today. It has been removed from our favorite restaurant list to a non-return place. Other than the great deal on draft beer, the food experience was not good, bad value and mediocre quality. The portion size and tortilla size of the tacos is half the portion of this same location in 2023. We ate at Zitla on c12 for Christmas day (4 days earlier) , and it was amazing and delicious. The tacos and tostadas are much larger and well put together. Do yourself a favor and skip this location, head to Calle 12 location for a much better experience. The menu is also different and had more taco and tostada choices. Previous review form 2023: We had another excellent meal at Zitla Cieba today. The drinks and service were very nice in the back courtyard. The main event is the delicious tostadas and tacos. Currently in 2024, the Gober taco here is my favorite taco in PDC. We are excited for another visit next week.

Loved this place! All the food was fresh and authentic full of great flavors! From the ceviche to the tacos every bite was delicious. I know it’s not necessarily Mexican but try the wings!!! So damn good and tender! Better than many of the places I’ve eaten in the states. Wow! Loved the atmosphere, so cool and laid back. Service was spot on! Would I go here again? Yes!!!

One of the best bars in Playa del Carmen! Super relaxed vibe and the friendliest service. We sat in the lovely outdoor area and enjoyed the live band - an American football game was also being shown if that’s more your thing. The buffalo cauliflower wings were tasty and the salmon tostada was outstanding; the cocktails are worth mentioning too, as the mojito Zitla was great. A word of caution if you order a draft beer - even the medium size is HUGE, at least two pints’ worth of beer, so order at your peril!

We had a very good experience. We were seated in the garden, next to the zitla, the servers were nice but service was a bit slow. We got our main dishes first and afterwards the appetizers. The food was excellent. We had the zitla burger, the vegetarian tacos and the seafood tower as well as guacamole and onion rings. Everything was very good and tasty (except for maybe the guacamole which didn't have a lot of taste). The cocktails were also very good. At 8 pm a live band was performing with hits out of the '00.

We listened to the recommendations and glad we did. We had a really good dinner - steak burrito and chicken fajitas. The burrito has lots of steak and tortilla was nice and crunchy. The chicken fajitas were delicious, lots of chicken, refried beans and avocado. I recommend getting either if you visit here. We also had great service from Verona. She was super friendly and informative. She also put up with us ordering multiple rounds of drinks over a few hours while we waited for a torrential downpour to pass. Thank you, Verona! I recommend checking this place out if you're in Playa Del Carmen.

Es el "hermano" de la otra sucursal de zitla.. Sin embargo se ven algunas varias diferencias, el ambiente tranquilo entre semana, adecuado para ir a platicar y pasar el rato, buen ambiente y servicio... Lo malo es que el día que fui no tenían agua en los sanitarios, ni el lavamanos y es algo INDISPENSABLE!! Por lo que no pudimos quedarnos mucho tiempo, ojalá hayan solucionado ese problema ya.

Un gran lugar con excelente ambiente. Suele haber alguien tocando varios días de la semana, la atención es muy buena, Alessio fue nuestro mesero la última vez y fue realmente atento checando que nada faltara y brindando recomendaciones referentes al menú de bebidas. Respecto al lugar, es bastante grande y las mesas cuentan con espacio suficiente para la sana distancia. Los baños se encuentran limpios, así mismo la mesa donde nos ubicamos se encontraba limpia al llegar y así la mantuvieron durante toda nuestra visita. En la parte de la terraza se cuenta con ventiladores, y en la parte del patio, que es donde toca la banda, se sentirá el calor ó no dependiendo de cómo esté el día debido a que ese es un lugar al aire libre. En resumen es un gran lugar, con buena calidad-precio. Recomendado 🤙🏼

Fuimos para la cena de año nuevo, nos gustó la comida es rica, pero lo que no nos gustó fue que no nos atendieron bien, tuvimos que esperar casi una hora por el trago de bienvenida que venía incluido en la cena que reservamos para el año nuevo, igual tardaron en servirnos las comidas por tiempos, parecía que por el hecho de no ser extranjeros nos dieron ese servicio.

Hace algún tiempo fui al lugar y la atención y los alimentos fueron de maravilla. Pero ahora que regrese me decepcione por todo. La comida esta tan insipida, y no fui la única que lo percibió porque las 4 personas que asistimos coincidimos al respecto. Fue una pena porque los recomendé y hable muy bien del lugar y encontrar algo tan distinto no me agrado en absoluto.

Actualicen la información de contacto y abran las aplicaciones de repartidores a la hora que debe de ser. Uno nunca encuentra un servicio completo aqui, si esta bueno mal servicio, si esta mal buen servicio, siempre les falta algo.

La verdad ha sido de los peores lugares a los que he ido a comer mariscos ,eso no se los recomiendo. Eran congelados y no tenían sabor .(aún tenían hielito) Lo que si están buenos unos taquitos de arrachera pero no tenían alguna salsa para acompañarlos

Although the waiter was friendly, the overall experience was very disappointing. We waited a long time for the food, the prices were very expensive compared to the menu, and we both suffered from stomach pain throughout the night afterward. Overall, not worth the price and not a place I would recommend.

Sad to leave this negative review, but I have to. I have a shellfish allergy and fish overall doesn’t sit well with me (even if not shellfish), the first time I came here I was told they do not mix the oils of fried fish and chicken in the kitchen, and my order was fine when it came. I returned a few days ago and my chicken was pure fish oil, in the first bite I put it down. The server told me that yes they usually have a rule about not mixing the oils but that the cook that day decided on his own to mix all the oils!! (Dangerous). And wait things get worse: they said they’d bring a new order with the correct oil of the chicken boneless wings, I waited 40min. Guess what.. when it came, they gave me breaded cauliflower 😂 no chicken. I couldn’t believe it. I tell the server I’m going somewhere else and cannot wait another 40min. I had already been there over an hour. I had consumed one beer that whole time while I waited, and I thought I would at least be comped for the beer with all the trouble, but no, I was still charged although I wasted over an hour of my time. I will never be coming back here and as a local of playa, cannot recommend to my friends either. There was no effort to make things right for me.
