Such a cool place! Visited family who moved from Michigan — they were sooo excited to share this hidden gem!!! You can bring your pups, do some putt putt or play games and just hang out with friends. And the food…*chefs kiss*

Nice atmosphere with the trees growing through the building. Several floors with indoor and outdoor seating. It would be impossible to leave here without finding a beer you like. All the normal selections in addition to craft, local, and imported beer. Great way to spend a night or afternoon in Raleigh!

Excellent venue! In town for a weekend and this was the first place on our list. So impressed and pleased after the first day, we came back the next. Play mini golf and have a beer? Yes please! Excellent food, excellent service. Will be back!

Awesome beer spot with a killer backyard! Beer Garden is one of those places you keep coming back to. The vibe is super chill—long wooden tables, string lights, plants everywhere, and a laid-back atmosphere perfect for hanging out with friends, a date, or even solo with a book. The beer selection is insane: local craft brews, international favorites, always ice-cold, and the staff’s recommendations are spot-on (shoutout for the seasonal IPA!). Prices are fair for the quality. Food is on point too—the BBQ wings and giant pretzel are perfect for sharing (or not, haha). Everything fresh and generous portions. Service is friendly and attentive without being pushy. I absolutely loved the back area with the games zone—cornhole, giant Jenga, the works. It’s a blast! One thing to fix: the bathrooms were dirty with water all over the floor. They really need to check that detail more often. Highly recommended overall. Already planning my next visit! 🍻

A must see place. Liquor, beer, food, and pet friendly! Numerous areas to sit. Mini golf options too! Great place for everyone.

Thank you thank you thank you for saving my birthday today!!! Matt (the manager) and Emily (the server) were AMAZING!!! After our original plans fell thru, my wife showed up at RBG and Matt made it all better. Pulled tables together for us, offered multiple accommodations and made my day extra special! Thank you for going above and beyond!

Raleigh Biergarten is a great place to try a huge selection of beers. Food is mediocre but not bad, french fries were tasty. Beer prices are on point in the selection is huge. Definitely, bartender in servers were all very helpful. Go for the beer without a doubt

This beer garden place has hundreds of taps beer points to taste and drink. You name the beer and they have it. We went there to taste some beer but to sit on the couch, we had to buy some food. We ended up with french fries ! Ambience is bit rustic and dark but in the backyard they have a beautiful garden with putt golf. Outside ambience is very nice but inside is too noisy and over crowded. Looks like everyone loves this place !!

Came here with my best friend on our first day in town since it was near our hotel. Mark was the best! He gave us a tour of the bar/ outside areas and gave great recommendations for local food. We will definitely be back!

My Husband and I love to come on Wednesday for Trivia Night with the host being Severance. He is energetic, friendly and engaging to customers. Each week host a different beer sponsor for give-a-ways. This week sponsor happened to be Carolina Brewery. Which we walked away with some sauce.

They have a wide variety of fantastic beers and the food quality was great. The pizza was fresh and delicious! They have fantastic sour beers and the service was great !

Its a beautiful space limitless amount of beers on tap. From the greeter to the server and bar all staff went above and beyond. I asked for a Passion fruit Mojito and she hooked me up. My Mojito trasnported me to Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 He ordered a Jalapeño, cheddar smash burger and I had their Smoked salmon sandwich. Both our meals were delicious. Glad we drove over from Rock Hill, SC. We definitely will be back. He is always on the hunt for his Hazy beers got to try 2. He enjoyed Pretty Little Hazy.

Atmosphere was absolutely awesome, definitely a very relaxing environment. The mini-golf setup was really fun and the courses were definitely enjoyable, not easy or something you could fly through, so it was definitely pretty cool to have a few beers and work through the holes. We ordered the filet mingon sliders, baked pretzel and fried pretzel appetizers, absolutely delicious! We definitely preferred the baked pretzel over the fried, but it's just a personal preference. Overall an awesome experience and we will definitely be back!

The atmosphere here is amazing, the service is friendly and informative (with such a huge beer menu, we asked for some recommendations), the food was good (we had the poutine and the mac and cheese balls), and the beers we tried were delicious. It was fantastic to have so many options for where to spend our time; from different levels with different beers, to outdoor patios, indoor seating with outdoor views, or a view of the giant tree inside, you have a lot of choices. The prices were surprisingly good, and we loved having the option to get flight-sized beers so we could try more varieties. I will absolutely come back, and also bring out-of-town visitors for a unique experience.

My boyfriend and I drove over an hour to come here! The entire experience was great and we were enamored with the layout. We played putt putt and Brittani was amazing! She had great beer suggestions for inside and was so friendly! We will definitely be making the drive again soon!!

Great stop on your bar hopping adventure. 220 beers on tap from around the world (upstairs). Poutine was excellent, Guiness was fresh, and there’s a beer flavor for everyone. Beeristas know their stuff!

J

Wow! The number of beers on tap is unbelievable! I added 2 pictures of their taps... those were on different floors with different beers!! Not only do they have the best selection of beer I have ever seen (and I'm definitely a beer connoisseur), but the atmosphere is truly unique and awesome as well! The service and food is top notch as well. I am from out of town, but every time I visit the triangle, this will become a mandatory stop for me. If you love beer... you will love this place!

One of my favorite bars in the world and I've traveled quite a bit. Ordered 4 appetizers instead of a main because my friend and I loved everything we saw. It did not disappoint. I also love the 5oz pour so you can try a variety of beer options. Also the kitchen is open late which worked out for us as my flight was delayed. 10/10

Rae is a whole vibe. Fun to talk to and service was great! Awesome insights on the international beer selection

We love the Benedict pizza. Whenever we are around the area we'll stop in for some brews and the Benedict. The gravy in the poutine is good too. We tried the quesadillas for the first time, pretty good. We walked off a smidge of what we ate by taking the stairs to the rooftop. (There's an elevator too if y'all need) We were really appreciative of Matt and his extensive knowledge on the brews. Love popping in from time to time My recommendation is to check it out on slower times to get the best experience.

One of the best places in Raleigh downtown to hangout with wife/girlfriend/friends/colleague. I loved their beer menu where from the app you can decide the type of beer you want. You can decide based on ABV, local vs international, IPA vs non IPA, bitter or light etc.. Raleigh beer garden has a nice food menu & prices are reasonable. I love the ample seating inside, outside, with a fireplace outside, and a huge open area in the backside. I will go here again.

We had my daughter's bestie birthday party here. It was wild! People everywhere. Not bad on drink and food prices. I would go back and celebrate another occasion.

So many beers! It was my first time here and I was very impressed by the selection of beers on tap. Great service. A really awesome building and great location on Glenwood Ave. The food was good. But again, so many beers!

Always a stop when in Raliegh, the best beer garden out there by far. Atmosphere is always upbeat and fun, bartenders are talkative and have great suggestions, and the grounds are clean and comfortable.

If you want a place to drink while you're in Raleigh, this is the spot. Was planning to come back here a second night but had to catch a flight. Drinks are fairly priced and the vibes were lit. Server was really sweet and made us feel welcomed. We had a pizza to go with our drinks which was pretty good but small but the drinks are what we were there for.

Food and drink was amazing. Mark was great at the spirits bar.

Dropped in here this morning for brunch and it was really awesome. The vibe here is cool and the staff are super nice. All the food looked great and was prepared exactly how we wanted. We had a small issue with undercooked eggs on the breakfast pizza, but our server quickly took it back to the kitchen to get it cooked longer. There is so much cool stuff to see there that we ended up staying quite a while just checking everything out. They were even hosting a beer festival today and they seem to have bands, activities, and events frequently. I really enjoyed it here and plan to return again soon. They also have a huge tree in the bar that’s a killer photo op!

Really awesome vibe here! I had no idea how big this location was, and was surprised by every turn. I believe Hannah was the lovely lady helping us last time we visited. She was very sweet, and took great care of our group. We would be happy to return here just to see her, let alone the awesome venue. Cheers.

Raleigh beer garden is a must stop any day of the week. I highly recommend checking out all bars however the international beer tap bar on the second level was our favorite. Matt was so knowledgeable and attentive he made the experience as great as it was. With 222 beers on draft I was so impressed how he was able to find us exactly what we wanted. 10/10 recommend.

We had an early lunch and enjoyed some great cocktails with our new best bud Ashley Saturday . She was spunky, fun, knowledgeable of the menu and had great suggestions. We even got to try a new chilled shot she was working on for the holidays . Be sure to go and ask for the “Pie Meee” - it’s a fiery dose of warm apple pie. 😎🤘🏽 We always have a good time at RBG but this weekend may have been my fave!

What an experience! The bartenders were both amazing! I thought I knew a lot about beer, but they told me things that I didn’t even know! We got a full tour of the incredible keg system, and when they say they have 360+ beers, boy do they mean it.

The Raleigh Beer Garden is one of my favorite places to go for food and drinks. It’s such a fun atmosphere, especially out back! The most recent time my friends and I went was my best experience yet. John Michael went out of his way to make it a fun evening for us and we really appreciated it. He provided an excellent guest experience and we will definitely be going back! Thanks, John Michael!!

Thinking about visiting Raleigh? You must go to the RALEIGH Beer Garden and see Ms. Araya! She has mad skills and knowledge about each of the beers. This family friendly restaurant has over 200 beers, most brewed locally. Not to mention how awesome the food was! The bacon/Bleu burger was outstanding.

Was in town for a few days and was told I had to try this place. Was not disappointed. Matt and Rylee were great and showed me around. This place has the most beers on draft in the world with over 386 varieties. Great food, easy parking and atmosphere perfect for everyone.

Recently, we visited Raleigh Beer Garden. Overall, it’s a pretty nice spot. I liked the concept—a lot of wood, a mini-golf area in the backyard, and it’s a huge place with three floors. Each of the first and second floors has different bars with a variety of beers, which is an interesting idea. One thing I didn’t like was the bartender on the first floor. She wasn’t rude, but her service seemed lackluster. When we arrived and scanned the menu, she didn’t mention that only a small selection of snacks was available and that the main menu was closed. We spent a good amount of time deciding on what to order, only to be abruptly told that the main menu wasn’t available anymore. We then started choosing beers, and again, she didn’t mention that the beers are different on each floor. It turned out that what we chose was only served on the second floor, but we didn’t want to go upstairs just yet, as we wanted to sit outside under the heat lamps. She also didn’t really make an effort to help us choose; I told her several times about the flavor I was looking for, and she simply directed me to certain sections of the menu without much guidance. The bartender on the second floor was much friendlier, even offering us samples of 3-4 different beers to help us decide. For food, we ended up ordering wings and corndogs, and the snacks were really tasty. As I understand it, this place is famous for being in the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest variety of beers. This concept isn’t really my favorite because it means you spend a lot of time deciding. Either you take a chance and pick something randomly, or you spend time reading through the extensive beer menu, only to remember that there’s a whole other menu upstairs that might have something you like. I’d give this place 4 stars—it’s just my personal take.

A must go to if visiting Raleigh! They may or may not have 362 beers on tap at the time of your visit, but I assure you that there will be something for you to drink! They also have a full bar once you walk in. I had a N/A beer, which was refreshing. Their food menu was just the right amount to choose from. The classic poutine was delicious! Unfortunately, the waitress almost ruined the entire experience. Thankfully, our group is well versed in brewery vibes, and this was our first stop.

A cool vibe place. Whenever we have friends visiting us we get there here for sure for a good time. There are trees indoor and outdoor which is kind of a nice ambience. For the winters they had closed the outdoors, but that area is a lot fun too. -Drinks are too good here! Too many options to choose from. Cocktails are pretty decent too. We ordered several varieties of beer and cosmopolitan for cocktail. Had few fries and chicken wings as well. Overall a good place to spend quality time.

Visually inviting with all the beautiful trees surrounding the building. Gorgeous upstairs deck area. Further to the back you’ll find extended beer garden with bean toss. Cool place for large groups. The food is pretty good, standard for a beer garden. I had a 10oz pour of the Duvel Belgian Blonde. We ordered burgers mine was the “beyond burger.” Quite delicious with a brioche bun and fries lightly seasoned n crispy. Dog friendly restaurant too! They even have a pup menu. She had the pup patty ♥️

Came here for trivia and it was fun, but the service sucked! I ordered a quesadilla appetizer and I was the last person at my table to get their food…an hour and a half later!! It wasn’t even that good either. But I guess I’ll come again for trivia night!

This place was magical! It’s tucked away and unassuming but so spacious and a ton of great spots to hang out, relax, and socialize. While this could be a super cute date spot, it is also perfect for families as well! The food was pretty good- I’d totally go back for their soft pretzel! The Caesar salad was kinda average (although I LOVED the dressing) and the fries were fine. While the person working the minigolf station was super personable and helpful, the service with the food was lacking. Granted we were dining on the mini golf course so maybe service is better elsewhere in the establishment but our food came to us with no plates for our group of 6 to divvy up the food. We asked for plates but after about 10 minutes (plus the person we asked passing us with no acknowledgement) I went up to the main part of the restaurant and asked for plates which I brought out to our table myself. We also had to ask for utensils and napkins. All-in-all I’d 1000% come back, but would probably just come for the games, vibes and maybe some drinks or snacks.

We visited this place with high hopes. However, it turned out to be a dud. We got a place to sit as soon as we went in as it was a Thursday. We ordered a lot of stuff - 8 Buffalo Wings, Meat Lovers Pizza, Caesar's Salad, Filet Slider and Cheesy Fries for starters. The wings were okay and so was the pizza. Their Caesar's Salad has Mayonnaise and there was more cheese than fries. For mains, we ordered the Bacon & Bleu Burger, Jalapeno Cheddar "Smash" Burger, Filet Medallions. All food was meh. We washed this down with many of their beers. Yet, we couldn't get over this taste. The service itself was also wonky - mixing up our orders and general mis-management. However, the environment was lively and inviting. Might come back here for this.

We visited for the first time and weren’t too familiar with beers, as there were so many options. The recommendations were excellent and tasted great! However, after ordering, the utensils took a while to arrive. I had to remind them a couple of times before we got knives and forks, but still no plates until I reminded them again.

This could be a really cool place. The atmosphere is fun and the food was fine. The service needs to be addressed. I thought the service was slow because our waiter was busy with other sections. When I went to use the bathroom and again when we left, we was sitting under the stairs scrolling on his phone. He was a nice enough guy, but his service sections were definitely not a priority. I guess it worked in our favor because we drank a lot less than we would have if he had been even a little attentive. Unfortunately, the bartenders in the back section were not exactly friendly. The only thing keeping this review from two stars is the hostess on Saturday night. She was incredibly friendly and very nice about taking our group's photo. More like her on staff would be great.

Was nice I could bring my dog here but the food was not good. I ordered the poutine and left off the gravy. Food comes and I get a bowl of fries with crumbled cheese on it. The poutine was supposed to include cheese curds. I asked the waiter where the cheese curds were and she said that this is what the poutine was supposed to have and nothing was wrong. She went and asked the kitchen and they said it was correct. The menu said mozzarella cheese AND cheese curds. I’m not sure what these cheese crumbles were supposed to be but they’re definitely not cheese curds. Waitress was nice about it and did the right thing by offering me another meal. I had some pizza which was fine but they also forgot the marinara sauce on so it was pesto pizza. In addition, waitress said a flight of beer would be more cost effective than ordering individual 5 oz beers but upon getting the bill, it was all priced individually. Also, the beer tasted old. They clearly have too many beers on tap to be able to keep up with all of them.

We came for the drag brunch event, excited for a fun show and good food—but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing overall. The service and food were the biggest letdowns. Our original server was kind and attentive, and the drinks we did get were delicious. But right before the show started, she told us she had to go bartend downstairs and closed out our tab, saying another server would take over. No one ever did. We waited 45+ minutes for a pretzel and cheese fries, and I had to go downstairs just to get a status update on our food. When it finally arrived, the fries were not made according to the menu description—they were missing the pork belly and ranch, and were topped with thick, clumpy cheese sauce. I brought them to the bar, and the bartender said she’d have them fixed. What came back was cold pork belly bites on top, a little more of the same clumpy cheese, and still no ranch. No one checked on us for the rest of the brunch event, and we would’ve gladly ordered another round—but we were never given the opportunity. The drag performers themselves were fantastic—talented, vibrant, and so much fun to watch. The only downside was the layout, which split the audience into two disconnected sections. I’d love to see this event held in the courtyard next time so the queens can interact more easily with the whole crowd.

Tonight service was fine. The food was honestly terrible. The only thing they had going tonight was fryer for chicken tenders and fries and some taps.

A

Went at lunchtime on a Monday. Service was incredibly slow. Multiple items we ordered were not ready with the rest of our food (sweet tea, baked pretzel) but the worst was the rest of our group was done eating before my daughter's pizza even arrived at the table (all ordered at the same time). Food was just average. The space is cute, but for the price and service, we wouldn't come again.

E

💢Please read! Like set up of this place but food was very mid. Feel like a scam even the photos showed how very mid it is. I ordered pull pork hash browns from the brunch menu. I was so hungry, it wasn’t describe on the menu: so I eat chop pork belly with cheese and didn’t eat super fried diced potatoes that turn into dust with a press with a fork. The servers give the silverware and napkins later after getting the meal. Only good thing is drinks but not drunk enough to eat anything here. It’s broke my heart with the food here, because I love food and drinks.

I recently visited this brewery with a group of four, and honestly, it was a pretty disappointing experience. We were seated quickly, but after waiting 20 minutes without being served, we decided to move to the outdoor seating. That’s when we found out there are no servers outside, and you have to order all food and drinks at the bar. One of the employees told us we could order through our phones, but when we asked how, she admitted she didn’t know and didn’t bother to find out. They have a lot of beer options, but it’s a hassle to track down the one you want since each bar only carries certain beers. We ended up running around to different spots. The food wasn’t great either—the poutine was bland, although the pork belly was okay. I don’t usually like leaving bad reviews, but hopefully they can take this as a chance to improve. Overall, the bad service and mediocre food made for a frustrating visit. I wouldn’t recommend going unless you’re just there for drinks later at night.

E
Evan Giambra

Absolutely terrible customer service. Waited 40 minutes for our food only to tell us to leave which is fine. They tell us we can have it to go. 10 more minutes go by and no one has reached out with an update. I asked someone working in the kitchen if they have our order and a blonde haired lady walks up and tells us to not talk to kitchen staff and get someone else if we need help. She was very rude, dismissive, and ignored everything we said. Turns out our food has been sitting around in the kitchen and was cold. Would not recommend.
