Los Amigos Mexican Food

I have always loved los amigos .. I been here on occasion over the past decade and frequently growing up... What I can say is that Ramona has a lot of Mexican food and it's very competitive... to be honest it's all good! I usually order the breakfast burritos here but I ask them to add potato! It taste so good and so big ! These burritos are bigger than any other in the town!! Also I love the salsa and their crunchy tacos! The salsa is really yummy too! As for service- you won't get better service any mexican food in town!! Los Amigos is great .. Sit out back if you would like. It's quiet and peaceful. P.s. if you are vegetarian...order the potato tacos because they are so good you will keep going back. I'm not vegetarian and I often order those potato tacos they are sooooooo delicious 😋

The portion size was right on point. The food was very tasty. I really enjoyed it. I’m definitely coming back here. It looked clean on the inside and the staff were nice.

Omg we love this place! Eat here at least once a week since moving to the estates. Sooooo glad we have a couple good places to eat that’s not in the main town. Cali burritos are always my go to. Their red hot sauce is delicious! Highly recommend!

Thankyou Los Amigos for catering our joint class reunion October 2nd. The food was delicious! The attendees were very impressed! It was a top notch catering job! Can’t wait to travel up to Ramona and enjoy your delicious food again!

I used to live in ramona . i do deliveries there. I bought a chilreano Burrito. It was awesome. The red sauce was put in the burrito. Seeing i was driving a truck. Great prices. The chili has a great batter around it and plenty of cheese in the chilli pepper. By the awesome cook and the girls that work there are very lovely. And super nice. Next time im in upper ramona ill keep going there. Great service there. 👍👍

Best Mexican food EVER! I recommend anything on the menu. My favorite's are their carne asada tacos with chunky guacamole and pico de gallo. They also have fresh homemade chips you get free with every order, so freaking awesome! The staff is very nice, customer service is fantastic, they bring your order to your table, you can also call ahead to order. The food is always fresh homemade Mexican food. The restaurant is also very clean and tidy, any hot sauce you want, freshly made and always stocked.

Food is consistently good.We get Togo @ least 15 times a year ...if not more. Now we call in about 3 times a month. Prices went up but food is still consistently good.

Location convenient to SDCE I have done most of meals as takeout Orders ready when promised Good portions sizes and prices are reasonable I have eaten a couple of times inside; restaurant is clean and staff are friendly

Cali burrito was good. Guy behind the counter was nice and thoughtful.

Traditional Mexican food. Good flavor. Close to the hike at cedar creek falls. Plenty of space for your whole group. Very friendly staff.

I tried Los Amigos for the first time today and I really enjoyed my California burrito. The employees were also very friendly and helpful.

This is a nice location. The people are nice. I had the carne asada burrito, a side of beans and Mexican rice. The rice had a great flavor. The beans had some cheese which added to the niceness. Also has the rolled tacos. Nice and crunchy, now the only odd part to me was the green color off the Wacamole, you can see them in the picture I submitted. My party also ordered the menudo and buñuelos for dessert. The Menudo was spicy, I can't handle the spice.. got no hominy, all meat, thank you. I then add tons of limes. They provided the limes, cilantro and raw chopped onions. The buñuelos were nice and bite sized. I will definitely come back here.

Food disgusting. Not authentic at all. If you want good Mexican food that tastes authentic, go to Salsa’s in town behind McDonald’s. This place is the worst Mexican food in Ramona, along with Manana’s. Do yourself a favor and go into town.

Their food is last resort... don't want to run into town to get good Mexican food, kind of food. Hit or miss if they get your order correct, so 2 ⭐ is generous.

Rolled tacos were good. The carne asada burrito was not very good. The meat is not tender. It's quite chewy. I ate half then threw it away.

The enchilada had sauce on it that looked like mole sauce and it seemed like it had been sitting for a while. The mole sauce was not good and the whole enchilada was kind of a mess. The chile relleno I don't even know what happened with it but I think they forgot to put the sauce on top and the fried breading around it was more like a corn dog breading. It was probably the worst enchilada and chile relleno I have had in a long time and considering the staff looked all Latino I am surprised they are comfortable putting out that kind of a product. I get the impression that some items are good and some items are just not very good so order at your own risk.

I ordered the bacon egg cheese breakfast burrito. Into half way eating my burrito. I take a bit and crunched into something solid thinking it was an egg shell. Spit it out my mouth, rinsed it off with water and found that it was pieces of pebbles I was chewing. Below are pics of what was in my breakfast burrito.

Guacamole was just sour cream with food dye. Meat not all the way cooked. Order wasn’t right at all. Trash in weird areas. Never going here again!

Not good. So many other good places in Ramona. Meat is always grisly and tough, guacamole is close to pistachio ice cream although ice creme might have avocado in it. And it's expensive. Drive 5 minutes to any of the other like 20 Mexican places in town.

Awesome arrive at 8:15am on a Tuesday to get an after graveshift breakfast burrito, and the place isn’t even open. Says in the door 8:00am. Probably an update of operation times would be helpful.

Carne asada tastes like it was marinated in cream of mushroom soup. The burritos had lettuce. What the heck? Who does that? Carne asada fries were put on styrofoam plate and microwaved to melt the cheese. Fries burned through the plate. Carne asada fries were just a small pile of fries with just meat and cheese. Large drink was $2.50 and 85 cents a refill. Salsa cups are handed out with your order, so if you like more salsa, you have to pay extra. Portions are small. Food is served on thin floppy paper plates. Food is expensive. This place nickels and dimes you to death. Do yourself a favor and eat in ramona township. So many better places. Country estates residents, drive the 7 miles into town and get a real meal where you can sit down and relax and not have to pull your wallet out every time you need a little more soda or salsa.

Its edible, their salsas are nothing special. Their quesadilla was disgusting. You are better off going into town, but if you don't want to make the trip and your starving go for it.

Worst carne asada burrito I have ever had. I don't say this lightly, but I really couldn't believe how bad it was.

Just paid 6.99 for a fish burrito that was mostly cabbage and tortilla. Sub par quality for the price. We have been going there for years but have noticed the quality decline while their prices get higher.

Pollo asada burrito has nothing in it except basic pieces of chicken with a tiny bit of seasoning and rice, no guacamole no Pico. Don't waste your time and money deffinatly not worth it. We called in an order and they got it all incorrect which is happened many times in the past. Why we keep going back I do not know. Did a little research all the other Mexican fast food restaurants in town are cheaper by dollars they are very expensive and the food and the service sucks. I would vote them out of the Estates if it was Able and put something there a little more professional and economical And possibly healthier. We’ve learned our lesson and will not be going there anymore I encourage others to do so if you’ve had the same experience. We have spoke to the manager and employees and every time they tell us sorry sorry does not cut it.

I live nearby so this place is pretty convenient, but their online menu doesn't match up with what they actually sell; apparently it's from another Los Amigos and it's linked to the wrong one... But anyways, I always judge a Mexican food place by its California burrito, and this place has gotten it wrong every time. The biggest problem is with the cheap meat they use that still has tendons in it. That's happened multiple times to multiple people I know. But maybe it's just me and I don't like really chewy/hard to eat beef. Their prices are also a little expensive for how cheap they appear to be. They even keep the salsa cups behind the counter so people don't take too many. I'll probably keep going here for the convenience of it, but this definitely isn't a place that's hit the spot for me. Who knows, maybe they're only good at cooking something I haven't tried yet...

They gave me a burrito with the same meat having ther dirty fingers touching the guac sauce n meat ,to put it in new tortilla. Im so discusted by it. Happen to be the manaher or owners idea since its the older lady taht went back to kitchen to talk to guys. To save food cost im sure she was the one that said to use same meat. Never coming here again so much better spots around.
