Counter persons were very patient and personable. No stress or rushing me through my order. That is important when confused and hungry like a bear😁 Food was excellent and well proportioned. I came back 2 weeks in a row. Now, one of my fav treat me spots! Price was reasonable and it's definitely filling! Alot of hot mixture of items in the combo meal.Yummy 4 the tummy!

Food is normally excellent across the board at the various Ono locations and this one is no different. Food was excellent and customer service was great. Walked in and placed a take out order (which included a couple combo plates along with some spam musubi) and they had us out the door within 10 mins. No complaints here, definitely recommend this Ono Hawaiian BBQ location.

The food at Ono is top notch. We've had several things here including the chicken katsu, the Hawaiian BBQ Chicken, the Spam masubi, the macaroni salad is phenomenal. The staff are professional and nice. The restaurant is always super clean inside. Even when the line is long, the wait never will be. Can't say enough good things about Ono on Olsen!

They almost always get our order right and when they don't they make it right! I have covid currently and we really just wanted to eat uno! Despite the doordash app not allowing us to modifications they were helpful in getting our order correct

Mathew (I think was his name) was excelled! From the time I order to receiving my to go absolutely great service and efficient. Mathew goes beyond excellent keeping the restaurant clean and even made sure my to go container was clean before bagging it. It really stood out to me I wanted to share ♥️

Can't go wrong with the fire chicken. Tried the guava pie but I think it is better served warm.

Service was slow but okay. Our food was great! Good portion sizes. Loved the BBQ chicken and Kalua pork. The flavor was just right no additional sauce necessary. The rice was cooked perfect. The salad was nice. Yummy meall!

3/23/24- I walked in to get a menu. I am here for work but I love Hawaiian. I was greeted by Image who gave me the rundown on the menu and made some recommendations based on the items I like. He offered great customer service. He did not seem bothered about my questions or that I told him I already ate and was there for a menu. I plan to go tomorrow and I'll update my review with pictures of my meal.

Fantastic Hawaiian bbq. We’ve been to other Ono’s chains. This meal was so fresh and tasty. My kids loved it. We had the chicken bbq and shrimp. Service was superb. Cashier/server was very friendly and attentive. Clean inside and outside. Wish we had a location closer to our house.

Excellent, comforting food. Love me some Hawaiian plate lunch. I got the aloha plate. I chose two proteins (bbq chicken snd chicken katsu. Both were so tasty. Soft pillowy rice. Came with a yummy side salad (not mac salad... I love mac salad but trying to be healthier!). Interior is clean. It's a fast food feel similar to chipotle.

Tasted just as good and fresh as ever, reminds me of my dads cooking! Everything tasted delicious, hot and fresh and love that their containers are made out of recyclable materials instead of the old black styrofoam boxes! The only thing I wanted more of was cabbage, I felt like it was a lot less than before. But other than that PERFECT!

Very much enjoyed my meal here! Food was also reasonably priced and it was enough for me to save half for later. I got the chicken & beef combo and also got some spam musubi. I ended up doing 2 scoop rice & 2 scoop Mac salad (I like that this is an option). You also have the option to distribute those 4 scoops with vegetables. If you do that, note it is just cabbage and broccoli (my husband ordered some). Overall positive experience, we ordered online and it was ready when we arrived 20 min later. We have never tried Ono before since we usually go for a different place that we're accustomed to. Decided to try Ono since it's close by and they delivered & will be our go to Hawaiian BBQ place now!

We visiting California. Searched Hawaiian food, found here. . Skeptical at first, but food AMAZING!! Very comparable to 'a plate' on the islands, and incredibly better than "Mo'Bettah's" here on mainland. The cost is shockingly cheap compared to Hawaiian chains. . A must visit!! Aloha!

Food is delicious and they give you a lot of meat. Most of the time I have meat left with no rice but I can stir it with noodles and use their sauce. The chicken katsu was good and I really like the mixed broccoli and cabbage underneath the chicken really tasty I like the self-serve sauce but they didn't have that great of a selection of found drinks nothing unusual

I haven't had Ono in a long while. My boyfriends first time. Be were both pleases. The amount of food is awesome.

I must say this place was ridiculously busy at lunch time, from call on orders to order ins. However it took almost 45 minutes to get what we ordered for lunch. Just one plate for each of us. (2) I positively thought the food must be amazing. It was not. It was good and it was freshly made. I know to order ahead next time, and maybe they were short staffed, I don't know. No communication. Ice machine broke so no ice, but that could've happened in the a.m. I will return as it may have been a fluke. Next time I will take a picture of what I order. Because everyone has different taste buds.

I ordered BBQ beef and teriyaki chicken takeout. The flavor of both was excellent. The chicken was delicious and mostly tender, but some of the pieces were overcooked and tough. The beef was very tasty, however there was an unacceptable amount of gristle in many of the pieces, making them tough and chewy and I ultimately ended up spitting out most of it. It's disappointing because I have ordered the beef before and I never encountered so much gristle (there's always bound to be some but it was never the majority of the serving). Please go back to the better quality of beef you used to serve and I will continue to order it. Otherwise, I will not. I feel it's definitely not worth the price as it is now.

The actual pieces of chicken inside were reallyyy thin but it still tasted good. The problem with the meat being so thin, the breaded part gets hard and isn't balanced with the amount of chicken given so part of the time you're just eating bread. I was hoping this would give more of an exciting flavor. It seems pretty average in terms of what you get everywhere else. Costa Vida and Panda are right across the parking lot so having something very similar in terms of flavor doesn't help but it was still good food. In terms of the Atmosphere, I was a little disappointed in how some employees dressed. There's no sense of professionalism in the industry anymore. You can't tell the difference if they're an employee or even if they're a male or female. Sorry, hate to break it but I was served by a "????" That had short green hair, a nose piercing, and a mustache. How do I even address them? "They?". They definitely need to work on dress codes (for some employees) and how they present themselves. She, he, they, whatever "they" are, seemed like a nice person but cmon. The face of your employee is the face of your company... Also, minimum wage for fast food and service prices have gone up like CRAZY yet the service and presentation of employees has decreased exponentially. This doesn't go for just this restaurant, it goes for most. Rant done. Food was good.

This current trip to Ono was horrible. The only chicken and rice item I got this time (Chicken Musubi) was DANGEROUSLY made and served. The first half of it I ate was fine, but less chicken than usual. The 2nd one, my first bite into it there was a very hard bone that could have chipped a person's tooth had they not been as cautious as me. I assumed it was just that bite. So I take another bite, and an extremely SHARP piece of bone slightly stabbed the roof of my mouth near my gums. So I pull it out and spit out the rest of the bite. The last quarter of this Musubi looked safe, so I take another bite, and yet again a very hard, skinny, and inch sized bone was in that bite. This can seriously damage somebody's esophagus/insides as well as their mouth. I'm not sure if this chicken is chopped in house or shipped to them pre-sliced, but this restaurant needs to do better. Pretty unacceptable and makes me not want to spend my money or risk my health here any longer.

The place was busy, but the line moved quickly. The chicken was gummy in texture and the flavor was just ok. But 2 black hairs (that weren't mine) were included in the meal to seal the deal of a waste of $25. (Two meals and two drinks).

I had the worst experience with Ono Hawaiian BBQ at Rancho Cordova location. I made a online order for my office staff and stopped by during my lunch break to pick it up. As soon as arrive I asked the waitress (Madison) if my order is ready, she checked and said not yet. While I was waiting she gave another customer a big order. After at least 25 minutes I asked her again and she without checking said that they are still working on it. I waited for another 5 minutes and finally approached another waitress and asked to check on my order and she said that Madison gave it away to another customer. I asked to speak to manager, she said she is not here but she will call her. She went to back and called her manager and came back to me and said that she can give me refund or make the food (it will take another 10-20minutes). I asked for discount for wasting my almost 1hour to which they refused. I was outraged, late to my meeting and had 7 coworkers waiting for their lunch at work. Terrible customer service! I would never recommend this business to anyone.

I had a catering order that was supposed to be ready at 11 am. I showed the cashier my receipt they said it was still being made. I sat for 30 minutes. Someone else checked for my order and it was already made. The original person never checked to see if my order was ready and made me sit and wait. Terrible service and a waste of time.

No one answers the phone for general questions. I needed to know why your earliest pick up for catering is 12:45pm via your website. When ordering 2 days in advance you should be able to order for a pick up when you open or shortly after. delivering "lunch" at 1pm or later is stupid, but a 12:45pm pick up from your establish would mean that. I felt surely this must be a mistake, but since you wont answer the phone, I'll order elsewhere. This is how you lose money and business. Todays business owners think leaving a VM is suitable. It is NOT. VM is a waste of my time and disrespectful to me as the customer. Good luck.

Both plates had more rice and salad than chicken. They were stingy with the meat. I compared the portion of chicken to they’re sauce container.
