Absolutely love this place. The mead is amazing and every flavor is delicious, haven't had one I didnt like. Another plus is that the staff is always helpful, nice and welcoming. Would definitely recommend 👍

Love the meads and staff is super friendly! Also their product like their bottled mead is very impressive! Large bottles with a beautiful label. They have outdoor and indoor seating (with a/c) Only thing is that they are still in the process of expanding, so the decor and design is a bit interrupted. But don't let that deter you! Favorite flavors are Watermelon, blackberry, and traditional. Great flavors for summer and refreshing! They also have slushies as well. Highly recommend!

I found the Meadery quite a calm and pleasant flight tasting. $12 for 4 4oz flight or $10 for 5 1oz flight. I like that I could try essentially everything they had available. The Boche mead was my favorite but the Japanese melon one (the name escapes me for this review!) Was a close second. Overall worth trying both if you love mead or have never had it before.

Excellent service, even in the middle of an event they remembered me. The mead is spectacular and they have a wide range of flavors. They are wheelchair friendly. The price is more expensive than beer but considering how much more expensive honey is that makes sense and the prices are still fairly reasonable at $7 per glass.

Friendly and hospitable staff with a TON of mead flavor choices! They have "Traditional Nectar" made from local wildflower honey in Sacramento. That flavor is a great baseline flavor to taste a more plain and simple mead.... but then they will add juice and other kinds of fun twists to other ones and make a variety of different types of mead. This is definitely the place to go if you want mead and only mead. Please go pay a visit! These guys rock!

I've come here several times at the recommendation of a friend. The mead is terrific! It's a huge hit at party's I've brought it to. The staff is very knowledgeable and give tips on the best way to serve it. They also host events, I went to a very nice Samhain/Halloween one this weekend.

Tasty meads and well balanced. Friendly staff too. The tasting room is a little bit hard to find until they get better signage, but worth it.

Update 2/22/26 Spent quite a bit of time here again today. Had them sample the mead I did back in Jan 2025 after my last time here. Turns out I made a pretty good mead. They were not the only to say so. I guess it's time to make more. If your in the area, I highly recommend this place.

Typically i love Strads mead. Every renaissance fair i've been to I drink a lot of it, and usually buy several bottles. I also ordered some online and never had an issue before. But very recently I bought 6 Bottles and every single one of them tasted very strongly of vinegar... idk if the process has been changed recently or just something happened with this batch. But i doubt i will purchase more. Unfortunately it seems to be happening to others as well, a few of my good friends that also bought several bottles had the same strong vinegar taste. Don't get me wrong, when it tastes as it should it is some of the best mead i've ever had and can't get enough. I am just disappointed with my recent purchase.

So sad they were not there. Drove 4 hrs to share my mead and try there's. When I arrived there were 2 guys there also with some amazing honey, they were also there to share. Another couple showed and were there to buy mead. Said last time they came there was only pomegranate for sale. So I guess Strad missed out on customers, to try some amazing mead and some great honey. Hopefully they caught the hunt.

Got a bottle of mead here awhile back. Industrial park storefront is seriously lacking, as far as a public space goes. Looks cheap and tacky. Only Pomegranate on tap, which didn't taste very good imo. Would not recommend. Better to order from out of state.
