Popped in for a quick dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The wings were fantastic and the burger was awesome too. The bleu cheese dressing was the BEST IVE EVER HAD.

Had never been downstairs in the Speak Easy... Love the decor and the space. Perfect for our VFW gathering. Great service and great food. Like the way the whole family including the kids pitch in!

Every time I've passed this place and ate somewhere else has been a mistake. Nachos, duck wonton, shrimp po-boy and bratwurst were all amazing. Staff was friendly and food came out quickly. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

Always come for the wings. But The rest of the food is excellent too. Do yourself a favor and try the volcanic sauce on the side with your hot wings. If you have the guts!!! :D

The three of us shared two appetizers; the duck wontons were lovely, and the honey-sriracha brussel sprouts were amazing! The fish and chips, burger, and chicken caprese sandwich were all very good. Beer selection was excellent, and the price was reasonable.

This is a favorite of our family. Friendly service, great nachos and Mac and cheese, everything is fresh and tasty. Kids love the claw machines.

The food is amazing here and the staff is very courteous. After a simple mix up between the waitress and l, the kitchen was able to handle the minor issue with no problem. Both visits have been very enjoyable and would recommend the duck wonton as your appetizer! Good for watching sports too.

I had my birthday party and it was the best place to have a party. The food was delicious, the people were very friendly and helpful and the decor is fantastic. I felt like I was really in a Speakeasy, they even have the sliding window on the door for the password. It was a real Speakeasy at one time and they have kept it very realistic and cozy. I loved this place*****

My husband & I popped in for some apps. So good, from the wings to the duck wonton with that sauce with a kick!! Great service too on a Saturday afternoon. We will return for some night time grub soon

If your looking for that Sports bar feel. Food was great burgers, fish and chips, wings, Ruben all enjoyed. Our waitress Michelle was excellent... Smiled attentive and so accommodating (thank you). Oh yeah beer cold and plenty selections on tap. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved the schnitzel special last evening! As German as you can get, and homemade spaetzle like grandma made! The cabbage was chunky and flavored just right, the mushroom gravy was perfection. We hope you keep making this! Even past Oktoberfest time!!

Came in to Charlie O's because i was told that they have great wings... I ended up indecisively ordering sweet and spicy garlic wings which were amazing. The bartender Katie made the most amazing drinks while Ashley M. Was very attentive and bubbly and had such a great sense of humor. The atmosphere is amazing and to be honest the walls being covered in various movie posters is pretty cool. Didnt know it but i just was told that it used to be a movie theater here. Not gonna lie the wings were good

Vintage movie posters and curios decorate the walls. There are arcade games and an automatic teller machine. Food is Mexo-American. Clean bathroom and friendly waitstaff. About four beers on tap. Tight parking in rear. In April 2023 the Dutchess County Libertarian Party gathered here.

Love the decor! Kind of has a house of blues vibe everything is very retro. Great food! We had the pulled pork quesadilla and some kind of Greek Flatbread. Even better margaritas! Fast service and they were pretty busy for early afternoon. Very kind bartender we had a nice time, thank you!

Been coming here for occasional lunch for past few years. Wait staff is always attentive and friendly. Given restaurant prices in the area, it isn't that expensive to eat here. The cowboy chicken sandwich is very good. Extensive bar and menu offerings. Even an outdoor seating area.

Great hometown place to eat. The wings are the best around, always consistent and done "Buffalo style" in the correct manner, not modified like many other places serving wings. The burgers, nachos, and Rocky's Red Hook beef sandwich are terrific. They give you a fair amount of food for the pricing and the atmosphere here is friendly.

This is your hometown bar and grub stop. Regulars are greeted by name and people are friendly. The food is decent and decently priced. It is one of the better options in the area.

Although the waitress didnt seem very joyful or pleasant the food was really good. It is reassuring to see someone in the kitchen is able to do cook temperatures properly as my burger came to me medium which is what I ordered. the fries were actual potato fries. definitely delicious. The only reason shy this place got 4 stars instead of 5 was because of the waitress.

Food price / quality (value) rating 8.5. The atmosphere is a reclaimed old time movie theater decorated with movie memorabilia, with several TV's for sports fans. They also have a basement "speakeasy" that is only open Mondays and Tuesdays. A typical pub menu and draught beer selection. We sat at the bar, and split a West Coast Burger. The burger was fine, but could have used a little Worcestershire or something for a little additional flavor. The fries were cooked extra well done as requested, which is always a good sign. Service by Crystal, our bartender, was great, and she had no problem giving us a taste of a draught beer before choosing. We happened to stop by here on Father's Day in the middle of the afternoon on a Sunday, so it was not real busy, but it appears that the place is a really good "party bar". We'll definitely stop in again.

A fun place to dine with friends or family. The menu has something for everyone. The appetizers were good and well portioned to leave room for a main meal. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. The pace of everything was good. The holiday themed martini's were a delight. A good experience overall and we would go back again.

Disappointed alot of the meals are not on the menu. I loved there chicken parm dinner and it's not on the menu anymore.

Worst Long Island Iced Tea ever! Bartenders need schooling. Great cheeseburger & sweet potato fries! Servers are friendly, food served quickly, atmosphere not great.

Brought all the food except one dish. The waitress came to see how the food was and had to tell her she missed one dish. Everyone was almost done eating when the last plate came out. Ordered a second round of drinks and the waitress missed one. She dissapesrded for a while and had to grab her to get the missing drink. She was very nice and apologized.

To start our service was very friendly and attentive. It seemed like she was the waitress for the dining area, while other people were running food. The downsides were: Our table was wicked sticky. The water cups tasted like soap, like they weren’t properly rinsed. My partner's fish and chips were slightly over cooked, fried closer to brown than golden. So over all the food wasnt crazy good or bad. The drinks were weak at best. The services was decent. And the atmosphere is cute, something my grandfather would've loved.

This was a destination for me coming off the road to get a dozen wings. At one time they were the best this side of The Anchor Bar in Buffalo. I don’t know what changed but the wings I had the other night were terrible. They should not be swimming in hot sauce. The wings hot from the fryer or oven should be dredged in hot sauce nit served in a bowl of hot sauce. It destroys the chrispy texture. If I wanted to drink a bowl of hot sauce I would have ordered that. All snark aside I really hope this is helpful because I like the place and I hope it can be fixed

Friendly staff. The tap beer selection is limited to national options like Blue Moon and Sam Adams. As an out-of-towner, I want to try the local options. We stopped in on a Thursday night around 9:00pm and the place was deserted except for a group of guys playing a card game. It’s a typical local sports bar. They have French’s ketchup! How interesting. Happy to find it within walking distance from my B&B.

Standard fare. Nothing special. They do have pretty good wings. Service is iffy

While the service was considerate of our table's needs, the food came out cold and was pretty mediocre. It was much better a couple of years ago. Also, just as a heads up for vegetarians/vegans, they use the same oil to fry everything and maybe use the same grill (though not sure about the grill part), so keep that in mind if you worry about those things.

I ordered a stake burrito special with rice and beans for $19....I swear I got like 5 beans and maybe a tea spoon of rice & unseasoned stake in an extra large tortilla with lots of lettuce and tomatoes..underwhelming!! I ended up just only eating the only the inside of the burrito. I could have had better meal at Chipotle with all the toppings.

Went for lunch. Very nice place. Waitress were friendly. Overall nice place. The food tho onion wings were burnt. Chicken wings were not good at all. Spent $80 on lunch for 3 people was not satisfied at all. Will not be returning

Wait staff -was ok, food not so much. There were 4 people in our party, two of the four of us received food that was cold, the other two had to call wait staff, given every excuse under the sun, mashed potatoes were not mashed potatoes and food was cold and you could tell it was reheated in microwave. Awful experience for 1st time there. Won't be going back anytime soon!

Use to enjoy the wings, tonight's were among the worst I've ever had. Very dry and lacked flavor. Celery was the best part of the meal. Did takeout for a few guys to watch a game, no one ate more than two. Disappointing at best.

Horrible bar / grill . Food was gross , service was slow and uneducated . Save your money and go to one of the other places in Red Hook or Rhinebeck . The bar crowd was the only thing the employees were interested in and it looked like a hang out for all the local drinkers . Not a place for family or quiet place for dinner. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Horrible service. We ordered immediately after being seated and watched a group of two and a group of four that both came in after us get their food and finish it while we were sitting there waiting. We asked a different employee as our waitress wasnt paying attention, only to be assured he would look into it. 10 minutes later we walked out

So we went on Friday evening to have a few beers & burgers. Ordered 2 Stella drafts. Get served in a 12 oz. Glass. The last draft we ordered gets served in a larger pint glass. The bill comes showing 5 pints. I ask the waitress why are we being charged for pints when we were served 12 oz glasses? (I am a bartender for 30 years. The glass is marked 33cl on the side) The waitress says "as far as I know, the glasses are all pints. THE CHARGE IS THE CHARGE" I paid the bill, then asked for a manager. No manager, but owner comes over, tells me his aware of the situation, as he was sitting in corner but did not involve himself until we asked for someone, then starts to blame Dutchess Beer Distributors as they supply the Stella glasses. Also blamed his POS system as they only have pints as an option. Offered to buy us a drink ( too little, too late ,scammer!) The food wasn't great either by the way. Blah. Beware of this place.

First of all, they believe this is a restaurant. I have never had worse food for an extremely high price. I am so glad that the people wanted to go there for a birthday celebration andI didn’t suggest it. I cannot believe they think it’s chic to term a hamburger “a smashed burger.” At $14.50 it was no thicker than a McDonald’s hamburger. It was cooked so well and it was paper thin. I asked for sautéed or caramelized onions. What I got was raw onions that were thicker than the hamburger and then when I said to them, please get these off my plate because I’ll be sick with some type of fried onion that was loaded with grease. A bill for four of us with only two alcoholic drink drinks for the table 2 of us had tea was over $200.00!!! With the tip, it was 230. I am so angry and have never been so taken advantage of or ripped off. I know they’re currently for sale and I hope they sell soon before they go out of business. It is truly a bar They should stay away from food. I ended up taking the hamburger home for the dog. I’m sure he even felt ripped off! By the way, we were there this evening and will not be back and hopefully this will also hit yelp.
