Opinions de The Corner Tivoli
The food was absolutely divine and the service was impeccable. I can't express enough how much I enjoyed my food and drink here. Can't wait to go back.
Very good service! Wonderful evening at Tivoil hotel ended up the day at the conner restaurant….
Went on a beautiful weather Sunday and couldn't have had a better brunch.
Thank you so much for a fantastic dinner experience! Of all the aspects of our 3-day conference, I received more compliments on The Corner experience than anything else. I’m so jealous!!!! Our “happy hour” at the bar was so pleasant! Your bartender was sociable and attentive, and we had a lot of fun when she took our group photos. The Chatham Dry Irish Stout was superb. Well chilled and served in a tumbler. I’ll be back just to have another one of those. Your décor is always captivating and a conversation starter. The place settings were exquisite and made everyone feel special. The service was spot-on: two servers plus yourself was a perfect number; food and drinks were so professionally served – warm, with a smile and happy to help with a special request. And, it almost goes without saying, the food was artful and delicious! People raved about the shrimp bisque and kale salad. Even those of us with more conservative palates were delighted to enjoy chef’s spicy rendition of spaghetti. I had the fish of the day which was excellent. And I keyed on the Spaniard in our group (she had recently returned from vacation back home) and noted that she also had the fish and was duly impressed. Dessert put us in chocolate heaven. Everybody left happy, satisfied and complimenting me for choosing The Corner. My hearty compliments to Chef! And to you and your wonderful team of hospitality professionals. We will be back again!
Dinner for two on the outdoor deck was delightful. Friendly, gracious service that provided a delicious meal and cocktails made for a memorable evening treat. We like to dine on the early side(5:30-6:00), and the wraparound ,airy outdoor patio/deck filled up with an assorted mix of couples and groups. A great place to spend a quiet evening in Tivoli.
The food is always delicious and never fails to surprise. Probably deserves a Michelin star. The environment is warm and laid-back, like your cool aunt’s living room on one side and your cool uncle’s favorite bar on the other.
I visited for brunch with my partner and dog. The place has a nice dog-friendly terrace facing Main St. We ordered some coffee, juice, a burrata and the eggs. The food and drinks were delicious and service was even better. Recommended for brunch with your partner or friends.
Mel was our server—fantastic! Super attentive, kind, and considerate. Also Dev the bartender made amazing and quick drinks! Thanks!
One of my absolute favorite places. The food is so delicious and the presentation is always so lovely and special. The service os wonderful too, as is the ambiance.
Exceptional service. Some of the best food ever, and very creative.Even the bathrooms are great. I love the waitress Suzie. Best of all, everyone is nice. written by Sarah's child, Theo, 8 years old
If you crave the best homemade quality pancakes, here's the place for you! The blueberries are in the batter and on top which is absolutely amazing. Bursting with flavor. I have searched the area and you will not find authentic pancakes like these anywhere. So, save Sunday brunch for this indulgence! Aug'25 Authentic artist designed and run restaurant and inn. Menu emphasis is Mediterranean with creative touches. French, Italian, Greek and more. Reflected in wine offerings as well. Friendly, helpful staff. Casual meals and a formal arty dining room. Weekend brunch on the porch is exceptional. Expect summer crowds arriving for Bard music festival and other events.
We have dined at the Corner a number of times, always good, but last evening was a standout. It is about the prettiest dining room I know. The lighting, furnishings, art, flowers, and table settings work together beautifuly. The menu is small but there are a few specials. Food is original and flavorful, inspired by many cultures. Service is friendly and knowledgeable. They really try to please. We were with friends from out of town who had last been to the restaurant a year ago and our server remembered what brand of vodka our friends like in their martini. Although none of us were really hungry for dessert, it didn’t stop us from demolishing three amazingly delicious desserts.
One of the top restaurants in the Hudson Valley. We had the steak(it was PERFECT), and a coconut crab dish that was one of the most unique and perfectly prepared dishes I have had in the Hudson Valley. I am not a big drinker, but the mixed drinks were so sublime that we had to try them. Everything they do is spot-on. It is better than any restaurant in Rhinebeck and might be top five in the entire area. The ethos is totally unpretentious and inviting. We just love The Corner. Tivoli is also a super charming destination.
Every meal there that I’ve had over the last 3 years has been delicious! And the service is top tier. Mel, our server, makes the dining experience so special and personal. Love dining out on the front porch!
Came to dinner, Marie and her staff took such great care of me and the service and food were Wonderful

The cuisine felt more like southwestern or Mexican but it was delicious anyways! The bar is lovely, great cocktails, friendly service, and delightfully fresh food.
Beautifully minimal atmosphere accented with art. The menu is brief but usually exceptional, they take pride in their wines and bar offerings. Service has been good.
We've been coming to this restaurant since 2019, and we've always enjoyed the hospitality. It is one of the reasons we keep returning. However, this time, we found that the food was a bit too salty. Both the fries and the tagine had an overwhelming amount of salt. When we mentioned our concerns, the staff member assured us she would inform the chef, but unfortunately, we did not hear any follow-up. We understand it was a busy night, and we genuinely want the restaurant to thrive. We've always had positive experiences here, including occasional overnight stays, and we're hopeful that this feedback might be of interest to the management team. Again, our servers were all wonderful people.

This was my first visit here, the food was lovely but the delivery couldn't have been slower, unfortunately. I had a group of three with reservations at 7:30PM. We had not gotten our appetizers till about 7:45 and our entrées till 9:12PM, they close at 9. The atmosphere was actually very warm and relaxing. We dined in what looked like a large sorta soothing sitting room or perhaps a large inviting living room. This is a historic place and the owners did nicely to retain its historic feel. Being our food took strangely long to get to our table and that we had three different servers gets this only 3 stars.

Beautiful venue, great staff, very stylish. The bread they serve before dinner was notable and really wonderful. But the food overall is overpriced and underwhelming. I would expect a higher level at those prices. The steak was rare instead of medium rare, the $9 hassleback sweet potatoes were two tiny sweet potatoes that were raw on the inside. Overall I left feeling we had been swindled. But it’s a beautiful venue and the staff were very nice. Our waiter was great.
[[Update from restaurant's response]] Tone deaf responses don't make the food or the overt racism any less noticeable. As others have pointed out, the food is based, the racism is worse. LOL, your book "recommendation". Went there while staying in Tivoli. Upon walking in for dinner, a white older woman decided that getting a table for dinner required that I give my first and last name AND my phone number which she explained was "in case I left anything and the restaurant could get in touch with me". Funny thing is, on the same page where she wrote my "required" information, no other guests before me had that information written down. Funny, I guess only brown people require that we leave our information in case we leave our possessions behind. Are we more prone to forgetfulness or is there something else color-specific going on? Let's get to the food. As others have noted, completely underwhelming for the price of the meal. Squash blossoms were overcoated and bland. The mussels had much too much saffron to the point that that was the only flavor. Service... Our server, bless her heart, tried her best but honestly, I didn't know why she chose hospitality as her profession because she couldn't remember how to take a drink order, got confused about bread for the table, didn't understand basic questions about portion size of the entrees, didn't know how to pronounce affogato (which I wasn't sure why she was trying to get us to order), and overall just kept disappearing when we had questions about anything. Don't go here. They seem to have some sort of issue with any clientele that isn't color-appropriate to suggesting that they need your phone number when all the less swarthy types have much better memory at remembering their belongings at the restaurant. Advice to the restaurant... You can do better in 2024 when it comes to not being overtly racist.
